I visited for the first time on a hot Miami summer day, so I went straight for an iced pistachio latte. Based on a custom Decaf Robusta blend with rich notes of chocolate, caramel, and a hint of tobacco, all swirled into oat milk, pistachio syrup, a cloud of whipped cream, and topped with pistachio crumbles. My new coffee obsession. Shout-out to Bryton, the thoughtful barista who made it feel like it was designed just for me.
I didn’t stop there. Alexa and Angelina completed the order with a classic cappuccino and a Norwegian Banofi waffle. Layered with creamy Banofi spread, fresh banana slices, and a caramel-cinnamon vibe that I’m still dreaming about. Next time, I’ve already got my eye on the matcha waffle. Speaking of matcha, their menu doesn’t stop at the basics lineups, think of passion fruit, lychee, turmeric. My checklist is growing fast.
All the engagement with this new concept evolved to the next level, thanks to Yanina, who shared the story behind Black Sheep’s name and Robusta’s bold character. I love when a brand’s identity ties so perfectly to its product. Here, you feel it in each cup: earthy, woody, sips of coffee shots. Yanina is like the lead shepherdess of this flock, she radiates the brand’s caffeine energy as if it were her own, and it’s contagious.
