What an incredible dinner and experience at The Black Sheep! This place has been on our radar and we are so glad we finally visited it. It is on par with the best of Blue Ridge. The atmosphere is super cute and feels special. The service is incredible! Ashley gave us perfect advice for our pallet. We don’t typically like lamb lollipops but she got us to try them and they were EXCEPTIONAL! The salad was perfection and the filet mignon melted like butter and cut with a fork. The chocolate at the end of our meal was a sweet touch. 10/10 recommend!!

Stopped in for brunch with friends. Relaxed, yet elegant environment. Friendly, welcoming staff, especially our server, Constance (thank you again)! And the food! We absolutely loved the vibe at Black Sheep. We went without a reservation and they still treated us amazingly well — super friendly and welcoming staff. The weather was perfect, so we chose to sit outside, and it turned out to be the best decision. The burger I ordered was absolutely incredible — juicy, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. We also got an appetizer (can’t remember the name, but it was delicious). They had a happy hour, so we tried a couple of Bloody Marys, and they were seriously some of the best I’ve ever had. The whole experience was just perfect — great food, great drinks, and a relaxed, classy atmosphere. Definitely one of the must-visit spots in Blue Ridge!

Excellent place to eat! I absolutely loved the aesthetic — it was beautiful, warm, and welcoming. The atmosphere really made the experience special. Maci was our waitress, and she was incredibly informative, kind, and genuinely enjoyable. She made us feel so comfortable and took great care of us. We will definitely be back!

We had an amazing time! The service, food, and atmosphere were all great. Our server, Constance, was awesome—very attentive and knowledgeable about the menu, definitely an asset to the team. Also, the host who seated us complimented my dress, which was really sweet and appreciated. We’ll definitely be coming back! 🥰

My second visit from Chattanooga for a BDay meal. After our 2.5-hour drive, we two sat in the main structure in a perfect corner table. The Brunch menu was surprisingly limited. The soup of the day was leek and tomato and sounded great. I asked for a virgin Bloody Mary...$5!...the same price as one WITH Alcohol...really...Typically $3.00 in most other locations...NEVER MIND! "Try our amazing homemade Cinnamon rolls. Can I order one? "NO, only a minimum of 6!"...NEVER MIND! I ordered Huevo's Rancheros and my friend Crab Cake Benedict, with a stuffed mashed potato...I asked about a cup of soup..."NO...only offered as a $14 main!"...NEVERMIND! Both entrees arrived and were beautiful and were tasty but arrived luke-warm. The shallow cup of coffee, also luke warm, as was its refill, so only finished half. Dessert was an excellent GA Peach Cobbler. Service was good but the over-riding memory is a limited menu and them not able...or willing...to satisfy our choices. MY suggestion: scan the menu before making a reservation.

Had an incredible breakfast at Black Sheep Restaurant in Manassas, Virginia! I went with four friends, and we all loved our food, everything was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Now, this is just my opinion, but the vibe felt a little off the night I went. Think Martin Lawrence and Eddie Murphy in Life when they just wanted a slice of pie—that kind of energy. I can’t quite put my finger on it, but I didn’t feel especially welcomed. Maybe it was the crowd, maybe just the mood that evening. I went for my birthday, hoping for something memorable. The restaurant itself is tucked inside a charming old house near downtown Blue Ridge, with dim lighting, exposed brick, and an upscale rustic feel—lots of dark wood, wine bottles lining the walls, and candlelit tables that give off a cozy, romantic atmosphere. You can tell they’ve put a lot of thought into the aesthetic. Reservations & Parking: Definitely make a reservation and arrive early if you want decent parking. The lot is small and fills up quickly, especially on weekends. Food & Presentation: For appetizers, we ordered the brie and a crab cake. Unfortunately, both were disappointing. The texture was off, the smell was off, the look was off—and the taste was the worst of all. The baked brie, while nice in concept, fell flat. It reminded me of the inside of a ham and cheese Hot Pocket—missing that creamy, buttery melt that good brie should have. My duck with sweet potatoes was alright—beautifully plated, but it could’ve used more seasoning or depth of flavor. The presentation was top-notch, though—picture-perfect, like something straight out of a magazine. My friend ordered the meatloaf and wasn’t impressed either. Service & Atmosphere: We sat at the bar, which had a more laid-back vibe than the main dining room. The bartenders were friendly and attentive, and Ashley in particular stood out—she had a great attitude and made us feel comfortable despite the overall tone of the evening. Final Thoughts: The Black Sheep definitely has a beautiful setting and stellar presentation, but for me, the warmth of the atmosphere and the flavor of the food didn’t quite live up to the visuals. It also didn’t seem like a space that embraced much diversity in its clientele or energy. Maybe it was just an off night, but it left me wanting more connection—and a lot more flavor.

We were visiting our daughter's house in Blue Ridge for my wife's 75th birthday. We decided on the Black Sheep Restaurant to celebrate the special occasion. Couldn't have made a better selection anywhere. We had lamb and salmon. They were both delicious. Service was outstanding and the ambiance was great. We will definitely return when visiting the area.

We came here for brunch and really enjoyed our experience! The servers, bartenders and staff we interacted with were all super friendly and happy to help! Service was prompt throughout our time here! There were brunch specials that we did take advantage of, and would definitely recommend! The food was super good too. Everyone in the group really enjoyed what they got!! I would definitely recommend coming here if you are ever in the blue ridge area! I would advise to make reservations because they do get busy pretty quick, but it's definitely worth the wait time!!

This restaurant is in a wonderful location in downtown Blue Ridge. There's dining in front of the restaurant and is lovely during the modest times of the year. The evening we dined here, we had a large but not unusual party of 8. We were shown to an upstairs room that was, very, secluded. The staff was very helpful for new comers by providing knowledgeable answers to any questions about the menu. We had more than one server which truly made a difference for us. The more the night went on, we began to wonder if our food order hadn't been placed. We had a slight view of "behind the scenes" from our table. It was divided by a flap for workers to go in and out. When our food reached the table it was mixed emotions by some getting a fantastic meal and others getting cold food. Unfortunately my order was not medium rare, it was well done but most importantly cold. Very cold. This was disappointing knowing the steps taken to be here with family and the bill following. I didn't re-order my meal, it was already a couple hours at that point since we arrived. I would like to give this establishment another chance, requesting to dine downstairs amongst higher traffic priority.

We came this past weekend for a visit in blue ridge with a few of our friends and our total of 4 kids. My friend was really looking forward to trying this restaurant as she had heard great things so we booked a reservation for Saturday. The kids meals and appetizers were served first of calamari, shrimp, and Mac and cheese. These items were great, but unfortunately, that was as good as it got. Our server was fantastic as well! Two of the kids meals consisted of chicken tenders that were so overdone they were inedible and could chip a tooth. My friend and I got the steak that wasn't cooked as requested and didn't taste right. I took about 3 bites and couldn't eat it anymore, I had to shine my flashlight on my food to see it was indeed not correct. My other friend got potatoes that were so overdone they were completely black on the inside with no potato even visible. These were all served to us by the chef himself who saw what he was serving before bringing it out. The manager Heidi even came in at the end of our meal saying "wow it's dark in here" and cut the light on finally. We explained what had happened and all that was offered was a new steak to be cooked. However at this point we had been there over an hour and a half with 4 kids and would have to take it to our cabin to microwave. We explained everything to the manager Heidi who instead of trying to make things right just wanted to argue with us as customers while admitting that what we experienced was wrong but she would not do anything at this point. I asked for the owner to explain the situation who wasn't available, but Heidi said she would get the director. We couldn't stay as the kids were beyond tired at this point and ready to leave. I'm assuming the director found the manager to be in the wrong just as we did as our steaks and chicken tenders were comped. However, all we had truly wanted was for things to be made right or to be offered another chance to come back to correct the mistakes as we were hoping to fully enjoy the experience that we all looked forward to. We had wanted to come for brunch on Sunday as well before our experience and unfortunately we will steer clear due to management.

First of all, our server, Erica was simply amazing!!! The food and drinks was equally great. We had their Smokey Sheep Old Fashioned, fried oysters. Rack of lamb, a lamb shank and crème brûlée for dessert. All were amazing. Highly recommend- but ask for Erica, she went above and beyond!

Great food, service and atmosphere! Selection on brunch menu was unique and broad. Mackensie, our server, was attentive and kind. The food was some of the best I have ever had. Outdoor and indoor seating available.

The lamb lollipops, shrimp pasta and crème brûlée were outstanding. The crawfish etoufee was also very good! We sat outside on the patio and loved the gorgeous tree with the beautiful lights. Our server was also very kind!

Fantastic brunch on the patio in the Blue Ridge mountains! Waiter was very friendly and the food was excellent. Be sure to order the housemade cinnamon rolls!

Excellent food and experience. I had the pork bellies appetizer, beer salad and lamp chops. All top notch and our waiter was fantastic.

The food was wonderful as was the atmosphere. In my opinion a bit pricey for that area. The seafood entrees were all wonderful & the fried chicken dinner was great too, very crispy!

Visited this restaurant on my trip in Blue Ridge. We went during brunch time on Sunday, so we made a reservation in advance. We were seated outside with a really great scenery of the town. The waitress was super nice and would check up on us. They had a decent selection of brunch and drinks to choose from. We ordered the Shrimp and Grits and Red Velvet Waffle and Chicken. The Waffle especially caught our eye because of the unique twist. Turned out to be pretty good except I couldn't taste the cream cheese much. The Shrimp and Grits plate was delicious. I loved the addition of fried okra.

Went as a party of 6 and sat in the enclosed patio area. I enjoyed the space we had but the food was mediocre. I don't eat meat so this may have been why I was less than impressed but my salad came out warm and I ordered a side of fries that weren't great (maybe on the verge of stale?) Glassware arrived dirty as well. Can't say I would personally be back but my friends seemed to like their meat forward dishes so worth a try for their more traditional foods. The house which is the main dining area and restaurant is pretty impressive, enjoyed the fact that many of the original pieces were still in the home like the fireplace in the woman's bathroom.

The food was simply amazing! It was my birthday and I was given the princess treatment! I enjoyed everything from the coffee, to the mimosas , the Benedict and the meats. They brought me the cutest birthday dessert and ice cream scoop on the side. Live music and he was awesome. The atmosphere is beautiful. We chose the patio seating so the temp was perfect. Perfect ending meal to an amazing trip. The brunch was everything!

We stopped here for dinner. The restaurant is absolutely beautiful. They had lights on the tree and and outside patio, which really made it look beautiful. It was packed and this is clearly the place to be on a Friday. We ordered the firecracker shrimp and calamari to start which was ok. I had the filet mignon for dinner and it was outstanding. It literally melted like butter in my mouth. The service was also excellent. I can see why this is the "it" place.

Very nice looking restaurant. Service wasn't the greatest. We had a 8:15 reservation and we sat closer to 9pm so we were not very happy about that. Also, I expected the food to be a little better then it was. I had a shrimp pasta dish which was okay I expected better taste. The wine by the glass I got a wasn't a big fan of. I expected better choices my husband had the meatloaf which was very tasty but a different side then collard greens would've been a better choice. Was looking forward to the dessert but the one I wanted was only served during brunch which was also a let down. I might give this place another try for brunch when I come Back to bliss ridge

Good food and friendly faces. They offer outdoor seating so you can take your pup along.

Food was very good and the reason we came back to this restaurant. However, service was not great. We got to restaurant early for our reservation and sat at the bar and waited. Hostess did not really communicate anything to us and it was not until around 715 when we were called by phone (even though they knew we were sitting right there and prob didn't remember). Meanwhile others had been seated before us. Overall impression even during the meal was that we as the customer weren't important. That feeling is why I give 3 stars.

Weekend brunch here is my favorite! The food never disappoints! Firecracker shrimp and Ahi tuna tacos are amazing. The grilled peach salad was very good....would be better if the peaches had more flavor, which is NOT the restaurants fault. The peach crop this year was not so good. HUGE shout out to Erika! Ask for her! In all of our visits, food never fails but service sometimes is slow. Erika was awesome and when we asked her to keep the mimosas flowing.....she did!

Super cute place. We ate brunch, appetizers and had the $3 mimosas and $5 Bloody Mary's. Everything was delicious. Make sure you try the pork belly, tuna tacos, and calamari.

First time visit was a pleasure. Seated in the bar area, we enjoyed a wedge salad with crab cake appetizer along with salmon and grouper, topped off with an expresso martini to send anyone home with a big smile. We are looking forward to a return visit, very soon.

Ordered lamb lollipops, were very good. Then, I got a grilled chicken salad, which was of high quality. Our waitress checked in often. Also I felt cozy under the warm place and dim lights.

made reservations in advance for a party of 8, got there and they put us in the outside area, it was cold and in the room was a bachelor party, our party had kids and as in any bachelor party the language was not kid friendly. I asked three times if we could be moved inside, told no, but another party of 7 came in and they put them inside. In our party was our friends who are hispanic, so I wonder if this had anything to do with it? I must say our waitress was great and the food was good, but the way we were treated was not acceptable, so I rated this restaurant as poor.

The menu showed promise but food was unremarkable. Waited 30 minutes for our table with a reservation! Unacceptable. Server told us she'd just moved from Chicago to Blue Ridge and didn't like it at all. Great first impression! What if we'd just bought a house here and this was our first impression?! Fried oysters were good, but the high point of the meal.

I had a great meal at Blacksheep Restaurant! The food was delicious and the service was excellent. I especially liked the pistachio-crusted snapper, which was perfectly cooked and had a delicious citrus sauce. The side linguine pasta with red wine and olive cream sauce was creamy and flavorful. My father-in-law loved the crabcake. Our waiter, Zack, was very attentive and helpful. He made sure that we had everything we needed and was always happy to answer our questions When I made the reservation, I mentioned I would need a high chair, so I'm not sure why the hostess thought to place it at a highboy table. My only feedback is that the restaurant can get a bit hot in the summer. However, this is not a major issue and I would still highly recommend Blacksheep Restaurant to anyone looking for a great meal.

Went to this place while vacationing in the area this weekend and loved it! However, if you're trying to go i highly recommend making a reservation. We arrived around 6 pm with our reservation being at 6:45. We left around 8 and the restaurant was packed the entire time. The cheddar biscuits they serve are incredible! Good atmosphere, fun lighting, music was a little loud for my liking. Overall the food was good. We got the lamb lollipop pops to start, my boyfriend got the meatloaf for an entree, and i got the ribeye. The mashed potatoes that came with the entrees were DELICIOUS. However, i thought every other part of the meal was very sweet. When i get a ribeye i don't expect sweet to be the forefront of flavor, but that's what happened. Not bad, just weird to me.

Ambience was beautiful. Country chic. We ate outdoors on the screened patio. It was warm but comfortable. Music would have topped it off, which that did play at nightfall! Food is delicious. I ordered the sea bass which was cooked to perfection. The dish could have used more veggie but overall A+. Service was great. Out server was kind and attentive. She definitely earned her tip. I will go back for sure!

This place gets a 100% from us. Food was amazing. Everything we ate was top notch. Waitress was wonderful and service was great. They squeezed us in, with our dog, on a busy Sunday evening over a holiday weekend, with no wait. Patio and atmosphere were perfect. Would come back here in a heartbeat.

Great upscale restaurant for the blue ridge area! However, reservations are hard to get and not sure why. We had a group of 10 adults and 2 kids that needed high chairs. I was told we would sit in the back outside section that is heated and I double checked we could use high chairs since she mentioned the tables were higher. She assured us we could but when we arrived it was not the case. This is a huge issue because we would have never made a reservation there if they couldn't accommodate our children properly. The food was decent. My salad dressing was forgotten. It was upsetting we couldn't sit inside especially because the place was empty for a long time and we couldn't be accommodated properly due to their lack of attention. 3 stars for having an upscale place but probably won't be going again for other than just some drinks and apps.

Loved this spot for dinner so much that we came back for brunch! The meatloaf and filet were both phenomenal and the cocktails were some of the best we've ever had. Definitely a must try in Blue Ridge!

My family took me here to celebrate my Birthday. Such a beautiful place. The food was perfect, my husband and I had a beet salad and the sea bass, it was delicious. I really can't remember what everyone else had but they all loved their meals. The service was outstanding as well. They gave me a choice of dessert for my birthday and I picked the peach cobbler which was wonderful plus since we were a party of six they brought us two. First class restaurant! Can't wait to come back.

Went here with the hubby, a great nephew, and brother and sister-in-law who were celebrating their 45th wedding anniversary. Older home made into a restaurant. At one point the manager checked in to wish them a happy anniversary and we got some background about the history of the house. That was a nice touch. We ordered the pork belly for an appetizer. Between the five of us we started with a Caesar salad, a beet salad and lobster bisque. For entrees we ordered the salmon, a steak, and Tasso and shrimp pasta. Although it was wasn't listed on the menu they do have a kid's menu. The great nephew had chicken strips with fries. For dessert we had chocolate peanut butter pie, bread pudding and vanilla ice cream. I tried a mint julep. It was my first one. I wasn't impressed. All I could taste was mint-really strong and slightly bitter. Overall the food was good. It was our server's first day so there were a few bumps but nothing major. They didn't rush us even though they seemed busy. We were in the wine room upstairs so it was much quieter. THE LIGHTING WAS LOW SO THE PICS DIDN'T TURN OUT VERY WELL. As we left it was busy downstairs. Where upstairs was a much quieter, more intimate atmosphere, downstairs was hopping and the jazz music was going strong. Although it was quiet pricey, I would go here again for a special occasion. The food was good. The setting was unique. It seemed to be a popular place for a Saturday night so I'd definitely make a reservation.

Early weekday dinner- we started with a Cesar salad, lamb chops and the cheddar biscuits. All were terrific! The lamb was the star and set the tone for the meal. (No photo's because we ate so quickly) I had the baked oysters which were phenomenal! About 5-6 per order and very filling as an entree choice following lots of apps. My daughters kids max and cheese was incredible - unlike any kids Mac I have ever had. The cheese sauce has a lobster broth base so it was rich and flavorful. Another star was the sea bass on udon noodles, it seems like a strange combo but it was spectacular. The only reason not for 5 stars was the service- very slow and inattentive , had to ask for things over and over again. I do wish they had a larger cocktail menu as someone who isn't a lover of whiskey/bourbon.

Absolutely amazing service and food! The Crab Cake Benedict, mushroom appetizer, and wedge salad were all phenomenal and the Citrus Basil Martini is second to none. Definitely worth a visit and will quickly become a favorite!! I wish I took pictures but devoted everything too quickly.

The coconut shrimp and lamb pops are definitely worth my drive from Blairsville. I will be a repeat customer for sure.

What a great place, we sat in what I believe was the deck (outside bar area). The temperature was great, ambiance was amazing with a fun and friendly atmosphere. I had the smoky sheep old fashion which was delicious, I highly recommend. For dinner I had the hand cut 16oz ribeye, this quite possibly the best steak I've ever had. The service was great, the head chef recognized us from earlier that morning at The Dogwood. He stopped by and checked on us to make sure everything was great.

We spent our 6th Anniversary with the amazing staff at The Black Sheep. We were warmly welcomed and greeted with "Happy Anniversary " as soon as we arrived. Our professional waiter took his time to explain the menu, to introduce the offerings and suggest pairings. The early evening ambiance was Southern Hospitality at its finest and well worth the visit. We took to-go boxes home. Generosity and hospitality are the best gifts aside from the rich, full flavors on the delightful menu.

I came in for brunch a few weeks ago and have been thinking about it ever since. I got the steak and eggs for brunch. I believe the steak had a chimichurri sauce on top, but it was amazing. The mimosas were great. The service was awesome. 10/10!

Nice modern southern restaurant. Definitely make reservations, but you don't have to dress up fancy, unless you want to. We sat under the old oak tree and it was delightful. The cocktails are strong and refreshing. The appetizers are just enough to whet your appetite as a couple without over-eating. The entrees are fresh and creative. The service is very attentive. I saw several outside tables with dogs, so if you are dog phobic or allergic, maybe book a seat inside. I wouldn't bring children. It's more of an adult vibe with adult wait times. A place to linger and socialize with other adults.

Well, there is no more Salmon BLT on the menu which is a true mistake & disappointment. Mimosas are always good.

From a former executive chef: My wife and I came here to celebrate our wedding anniversary while staying in Blue Ridge. It was a Wednesday night. No problem getting a reservation, and the restaurant was pretty busy for mid week. It's nice inside, cozy. They kind of pack you in at tight tables, but that's no nevermind to me. Our waitress was nice and friendly. Took out drink orders in a timely manner. My wife ordered a beer, and I just settled for water with lemon before the meal. Our waitress said she'd grab my wife's drink, and some lemons for my water. Wife got her beer, but the lemons never showed up. I've dealt with worse things in life. We ordered the calamari to split for an appetizer. It came out in a timely fashion. Typical breaded and deep fried calamari you get at most places like Biaggi's Italian Restaurant. They were slightly over cooked and rubbery, but hey, it's fried calamari. Easy to have happen. After looking over the menu and seeing they replaced both dishes I had wanted to try (sea bass and the duck entrees) with a Snapper and a pork chop entrees, we both settled on the Salmon Rockefeller. Entrees took a little longer than they should, but we weren't left waiting forever. First impression, noticed my wife had fewer potatoes on her dish than I did. Inconsistency. Salmon tasted ok, however was overcooked and slightly dry. Not hard to do, but when you're playing like a pseudo fine dining restaurant with your prices, this is unexcusable. Was nice that they treated us to a free dessert for our anniversary. We chose the Creme Brulee to split as we saw 2 other tables who were celebrating get and thought it looked good. It was good, good crunch on top, and good flavor. However, noticed the two other couples who had ordered it around us had Creme brulees with a good amount of homemade whipped cream on the side, 4 strawberries, and blueberries. The second couple had 3 strawberries and numerous blueberries on theirs. Ours had a small dollop of whipped cream, 1 strawberry, and 1 blueberry. Again, inconsistency. Unacceptable for the prices you're charging. I did notice the couple next to us ordered the steak and the rack of lamb. The lamb appeared to be overcooked as well. The steak looked good though. Perfect mid-rare. They hardly ate any of their entrees however. Overall, it was an ok experience, and given my past, I might be a little pickier than most. But like I said, when dinner for 2 is over $120, I expect a little better.

I visited Black Sheep during my short visit to Blue Ridge, GA. I'll preface this review by saying we came here for the raw oysters. Parking: Plentiful street parking. The restaurant is near the end of the strip of stores and restaurants, so not as heavily trafficked. The inside of the establishment was nice and homey. Since COVID, they have two tents set up with heater lamps, which I thought was great and very pretty. There are string lamps strung up that make the appearance very appealing. The service was okay. Our server seemed a bit pushy for us to order quickly. Like I mentioned, we came here for the oysters. I called ahead and checked the market price in advance and was told it was $18/half dozen and $26/dozen. When we got there, we ordered a dozen oysters and a beer. The New Jersey raw oysters were not very chilled and seemed thawed out. However, the server assured us it was fresh/not frozen. Also, one of the oysters was sitting on top of another, which irked me as not very sanitary. I hate biting into remnants of an oyster shell. When the check came out, it was $36/dozen....which was surprising and disappointing. I felt like I was tricked tbh. Although this spot has excellent reviews on Google, I would pass.

I wouldn't go back. Service was well intentioned but scattered. They had New Orleans jazz music playing from upstairs (no music downstairs). Biscuits and salad were very good. Ordered the pork belly which was seared very hard, had no seasoning and was drowning in sweet syrup. Had the meatloaf and fried chicken. Meatloaf was pre sliced and grilled (imagine how tough meatloaf needs to be in order for it to be grilled and stacked on a plate). It was rubbery and had zero flavor. The chicken was waaaaay over fried. It was super tough also. Both dishes were almost $30 each. For these prices, they should get their act together. Still we left a 30% tip, because the server was nice. But I would not return.

Food was great! We went for brunch and had the French press coffee with a side of Baileys. Then I had the hot chicken with red velvet waffle and my husband had the apple French toast. We can't say enough. Service was a little slow but hey it is brunch! Sit back, relax, and enjoy!

We celebrated out Anniversary at Black Sheep and we were treated VERY WELL. The restaurant was lovely, clean and perfectly lit. We received an Anniversary card from the restaurant which was a nice touch! They got points for that! Our drinks and Calamari appetizer were delivered within 10 minutes and were delicious! We loved the Thai Chili sauce with the Calamari. The marinara, not so much. My husband had the duck, which he has not stopped raving about. I had the thick pork chop, it was cooked perfectly! Moist, tender..yum! The restaurant treated us to a dessert and we chose the Crème Brûlée which was terrific. Our server Connie, did a great job, she paid close attention but didn't interrupt our meal. She was always there just when we needed something! Connie went out of her way to make a list of places to hike and things to see off the beaten path. We certainly appreciated her enthusiasm!!! We were visiting Blue Ridge but if we ever return, we will definitely return to Black Sheep and request Connie!!

First time at Black Sheep and the red velvet and chicken waffles were the talk of the table. Our party of 6 had a reservation for 11:00 am and we were seated promptly. Our party ordered oysters, lamb chops, crab cake Benedict, burgers, mimosas and bloody Mary's. Overall, everything was yummy with the Red Velvet Waffles, Oysters and Crab Cake Benedict voted as the table favorites. The lamb chops and burgers were just average. The space is beautiful and although we sat inside, the new outside patio is gorgeous along with the beautiful lights hanging from the big oak outside. We will return!

Came here for dinner on a girls trip to blue ridge and had a wonderful experience! Sat outside in their greenhouse style enclosed patio & loved it! Great Dirty Martini and oysters!!

The atmosphere and food were really good. I had a crabcake benedict and a mimosa. We sat outside at a high-top table and covered patio. The service was good and the price point was fair! You get what you pay for here. Would love to come back

We came here for for brunch and had reservations. Took us about 10 minutes before getting sat down. The ambiance inside was very nice. Our waitress was absolutely amazing. Her name was Lauren B and she is well deserving of a raise. She was running in and out of the building waiting tables on the patio and inside. She was also one of the nicest waitresses I've had in quite some time. She forgot our drinks, but was extremely apologetic (and funny) and removed them for the bill for us. Really great service. Now for the food. Again, this review is only for the brunch. We started with the pork belly and stuffed mushrooms. The mushrooms were excellent and the pork belly was pretty good. No complaints about either of them. For entrees, we tried the shrimp & grits, crab cake Benedict, French toast, and the snapper sandwich. They were out of 2 items that I asked to order, which I think is pretty weird considering the place was sold out with reservations for the day. You'd think they know how much food to have, but no a huge deal. The crab cake Benedict and French toast were both really good. The snapper was tasty, but the proportion of snapper to veggies was a little off and it needed more meat. The shrimp & grits were okay. Definitely not bad, but the best I've had. I'd recommend this place for brunch. It definitely wasn't the best I've ever had, but everything was pretty tasty and the service was amazing.
