Where To Eat Outside In Silver Lake, Echo Park, Los Feliz, Frogtown, East Hollywood, and Atwater Village
"Blair’s is a Silver Lake locals’ spot that recently expanded their patio seating along Hyperion, and it’s a great place for a low-key cocktail or glass of wine and some house-made pasta." - brett keating
"Located on the same stretch of road as a vegan bistro and a pilates studio, Blair’s is exactly the kind of restaurant that comes to mind when someone says “Neighborhood spot in Silver Lake.” The Italian-heavy menu lends itself to a few glasses of wine, so you’ll be happy to learn that they don’t charge a corkage fee. If they did, they wouldn’t be on this list." - kat hong
"COVID-19 Update: Open for pickup and delivery.
You’ve probably driven past this nondescript, redbrick building on a residential corner of Silver Lake a hundred times. The only thing that gives it away is a flashing arrow sign. Blair’s is the kind of neighborhood spot where the chef’s wife takes your order and the tables are taken up by locals. The menu is Italian-inspired, but you’d do well to scan it quickly and then just order the gnocchi. Also every meal here should end with the tiramisu. No need to reserve on weeknights—stroll in and take a seat at the dimly lit bar.

Went in on Valentines Day! They were very busy but still managed to provide excellent guest service. The food was also delicious. We started with the market salad, which had the best dressing. The yellowfin tuna was really fresh, and one of my favs! Will definitely be ordering that again next time I go. I also got the pepperoni, jalapeño, hot honey pizza which was 10/10.

This restaurant surprised me... The food is extremely good! Don't let the neighborhood vibe throw you off. They care!! Started with a fabulous deep ruby colored Lambrusco 'Tradizione Zanasi' at $52--incredibly reasonable. The Fried Calamari is highly recommended as it's one of the best I have had!! Fried with spicy red peppers and Italian parsley served with a fabulous homemade Tartar. Next a Gem lettuce Market Salad tossed with a light lemon dressing was perfect! The bread, although $12, was worth it--a quarter loaf of Sourdough Rye with butter. The Minestrone Soup was rich and full of flavor topped with Parmesan cheese. Finally the Entrees were well prepared--a respectable cheeseburger with a fabulous 'special sauce', caramelized onions and amazing parsley fries!! Also a homemade Gnocchetti with fresh mushrooms and finished with Breadcrumps and thyme. Service was a bit slow toward the end of the meal but the bartender jumped in and took over which was appreciated. The ambience inside is "foody" style smaller wooden tables with small candles. I think that table cloths are well deserved here and would be welcomed! There a few tables in the main room where the bar sits and then about a dozen tables in the nest two rooms. There is also a more casual outdoor area that is basically candle-lit wooden picnic tables. But dont worry--they care a lot more about the food than anything else and it shows from start to finish! Will return soon!!

Nice environment, food didn’t hit! Tagliatelle bolognese was too salty. The pizza was very thick and hearty, maybe it was an off night. Service was nice and it was about $70 a person. French fries were good.

Food was good! They forgot a dish so we had to wave them down towards the latter half of our meal but they were able to get the dish for us once asked. It’s a bit hard to get their attention though so we were trying a bit to get water, etc. It’s a big place though- a lot bigger than it seemed outside. I’ll definitely be back to try the other dishes.

The workers were attentive and the ambiance was fantastic during dinner. The food was phenomenal! I ate the gnocchetti pasta and it was delicious. The tomato sauce on the pizza had a sweet yet savory taste to it. The pistachio and tiramisu desserts were heavenly! Will definitely be back.

Perfect for any occasion! We here last night for dinner with a few friends. We shared an appetizer and got one entree each which was enough but I wanted to try more on the menu!
The restaurant is surprisingly big and has a large outdoor section that would be great for a bigger group.
I had the Gnocchetti (shells) with Mushrooms and Bruschetta and both I would get again!
Our waiter was friendly and gave great recommendations!

Great service, nice and cozy autmosphere. Good wine selection. They bake their own bread, and make pizza dough and pasta which is great !!!
The food was decent, but they are a bit pricy.
