This review is for the food truck and it was worth the .3 mile walk one way in the heat. And the food held up well! Tacos are HUGE and full. The wings were well cooked. The fries surprised me with how good they were as well. The ginger lemonade? Very sweet but refreshing. Definitely need to check out the restaurant since the truck has a smaller menu. I like that you can order online for the truck!

We came here do to to a facebook reel we seen from a guy that visits different restaurants. And must I say he was absolutely right about this one. My family and I loved the everything we got down to the homemade drink that was so good I forgot to take a picture. The flavor was beyond delicious 🤤 The tacos, loaded fries and chicken all amazing. The staff was very friendly and helped us on the kiosk and with any questions we had. My 9 year old asked if we can come again next weekend and I’m excited and looking forward to it

Stopped by when the food truck was in our neighborhood—it was great!! Pictures were taken mid-bite because we could not wait to dig in. I liked the chicken bowl the best. It had a decent amount of chicken and a lot of flavor. The dumplings were pretty good, but next time I’ll probably try the bulgogi fries!! Also you could really taste the ginger in the ginger lemonade. Overall would eat here again!!

Google
10/10 ! Went this Saturday afternoon and was highly impressed. Had the double smash burger with fries with their ginger lemonade. Everything was fresh and delicious. If you haven’t been, you need to go.

Google
Food was well seasoned! Loved the loaded fries with all the veggies. Delicious and flavorful. Will definitely come back to try other menu items

Google
Super friendly owners, and staff. Orders the bulgogi rice bowl, fantastic! Strips of beef were tender and tasty. Sauce was tasty and delicious. Worth a stop if you are at Camp Northend

Google
Best burger of my life, without exaggeration. I had a double smash burger that comes prepared with kimchi, pickles, cheese, and loads of other flavors. I sent a picture to a chef friend of mine and he agreed, it's a beauty! I smashed it and I will definitely be back for another. Thank you!

Google
Yum, fun, friendly… did I mention YUM? Portions sizes are great and the prices are super reasonable! And Camp North End is a great place to hang out. All around great experience.

Yelp
Oh, my, goodness, this food is bomb! My sister has been telling me to hit it up and we finally did before a Charlotte FC match. Honestly perfect spot before a match, right on your way into uptown. The crew working was super nice and offered to help place the order or answer any questions. Our crew ordered burgers, loaded fries, bulgogi sandwich, ginger lemonade, and the tacos. I wish I could tell you which food item to pick but everything is slammed with flavor. I hate when places put so much sauce you can't taste anything else, not the case here, every sauce has intention and adds flavor. The burger is a crispy thin smash burger with kimchi, sauces, and cheese. I am definitely going to crave this 10/10 Charlotte food and that is hard to come by sometimes. We will make this our pre game spot! Tons of tables at Camp North End even on a Saturday.

Yelp
I became interested in trying out the food truck after seeing a video about them on IG. Asian cuisine is my favorite and the dishes advertised in the video were enticing. I visited the food truck at the Bites on Seventh Festival and tried the Korean Fried Dumplings and Korean Rice Bowl with beef bulgogi first. Both had a great taste, I loved the portion size, so I was happy when they opened a food stall at Camp North End. I visited that location next and have tried even more of their offerings. It wasn't busy when I went, but that's probably due to the weather. Camp North End is a cool place and concept, but it's not the first place you think to go when it's super cold or hot. The staff was friendly, energetic and willing to answer any questions I had regarding their menu. I don't have strong knowledge of Korean cuisine, so my feedback is based solely off what I tasted on my tongue. Creative and flavorful is how I would describe their dishes, which is a fusion of Korean and American cuisine. The Blasian Double Smashburger is a beautifully curated MASTERPIECE. The Loaded Seoulgogi Dawg is the GRAND CHAMP all because of the seoulgogi (steak) on top, which sets it apart from all other hot dogs. The Seoulgogi Loaded Mac N' Cheese excels because of the creaminess of the mac n' cheese. When paired with the signature sauce on the seoulgogi, MAGIC is created. The Loaded Seoulgogi Fries is PERFECTION while the Korean Bulgogi Tacos has an excellent combination of flavors and are filled with a plentiful amount of meat. I had another Korean Rice Bowl, this time with Shrimp Bulgogi. The veggies were fresh, crisp and I loved the sauce on the shrimp. I also tried their Blasian Lemonade, which was sweet, tangy, and irresistibly delicious.

Yelp
Blasian Asian Way started as a food truck that now has a storefront at Optimist Hall. It's a quick casual establishment utilizing Optimist's open seating. The owner is extremely kind and personal so the service is great. He struck up conversations with many customers and stayed open late for folks. The food is American-Korean fusion where recipes are family-made. To me, it tastes more fusion than authentic, but that doesn't take anything away from it being a good meal. The bulgogi fries had good sauce and flavor and was a very large portion. Cost is a bit high, but portion size is fair. I enjoyed the fries, but ultimately may go elsewhere for korean.

Yelp
The owner was so nice! I actually didn't order by my friends did and they absolutely enjoyed their meals. The ginger lemonade was amazing! We were at camp north end so the outside vibe was lovely.

Yelp
I got the bulgoli steak rice bowl. It is flavorful, really good with the veggies. The service is awesome. The owner and staff are very friendly & helpful to those not familiar of the cusine. It being black owned & korean-Asian fusion is a bonus. I got takeout so the place looked clean as a stand. I highly recommend coming and eating good here. I will be back for sure.

Yelp
Walking around Camp north end for the mistletoe market and decided to grab some food to go. Service was great and let me sample the chicken and I ordered the bowl with dumplings. It was just ok for me, the rice was mushy, some of the chicken was burnt and there were burnt flakes in the bowl. The dumplings were included in the bowl and were soggy. Very disappointing

Yelp
During a day sight seeing in Charlotte we stopped at the Blasian Asian after smelling their food from around the corner. The restaurant is in a shipping container with walk up ordering for a tasty, fast casual meal. When we saw the long line I knew we were in for a treat. While they have a self serve kiosk for ordering they were super friendly and someone was able to assist us with our questions before making decisions. We ordered the wings, potstickers and French fries to share. The bulgogi wings were absolute amazing, a generous portion full of flavor. The potstickers weren't super special but I appreciated that they had a little crunch and tasted very fresh. The French fries were somewhere disappointing because they tasted very bland. When you order here there is ample seating right in front or around the corner. I highly recommend you try Blasian Asian Way if you're ever nearby!

Yelp
I'm not one to travel outta my way normally, but whenever I know Jeff is set up close, I swing by. NOTHING on the menu disappoints. Super fast, super friendly, SUPER CLEAN!! Thank you for the amazing experiences time and time again

Yelp
Tried this food truck last night at cyan mallard creek. I was so excited to try the wings, which are on the site. I walked up and kind of waited for a bit while the guy was organizing some things, when he finally acknowledged me he asked if I had any questions, I said no and asked if I could place an order for the wings. He said, "I don't have wings!" Pointed at the sign on the side of the truck and asked me if I seen wings on there, then proceeded to say that they weren't an option to be ordered online as if I were supposed to know that as a walk up... Good grief! I should have walked away at that point, but me being me, I ordered anyway to try and support. I ordered the beef bowl, and he asked if I wanted kimchi. I asked if it could be included separately on the side, and he still added it in the bowl. I had faith in this food because of all of the great reviews, but sadly, I was also disappointed with the food as well. The beef bowl looked good, but everything was bland. The rice was mushy, and the beef was "Ford tough. ".... I've had some pretty awesome, tender, and flavorful beef bulgogi from L&L, I'll stick with them when I need my fix, plus they're friendlier. And as bad as I wanted to try the wings, I'll pass on this food truck. Work on your service with people. I hate when a business treats me like they're doing me a favor when I'm choosing to spend my hard earned money with your establishment.. To be fair two stars earned because service was fast.

Yelp
Really great food truck! All the food was fresh and so flavorful! I loved how big the portions were too. I tried the fried dumplings and they were super crispy and good. I also had the loaded steak bulgogi fries. They were really tasty! I loved all the sauces on top and the tender steak pieces!

Yelp
I can't think of a single complaint about this place.... Everything is DELICIOUS. This time 3 of us split the chicken bolgolgi loaded fries and still had leftovers. The Asian lemonade was also divine. The family that runs it is also so friendly and make sure that you understand the menu. We will be frequenting here! :)

Yelp
I saw this food truck on UNCC campus and I was headed to my next class. I've seen the truck plenty of times, so decided to stop by today. I am so glad I did! I ordered the small chicken bowl with dumplings and OMG IT WAS AMAZING! The owner, Jeffrey was really cool and quick! There were a couple of people in front of me, but it was worth the wait. I advise anyone who sees this food truck to stop and get a bowl!

Yelp
Best Korean Short Rib I've had in my life. All the sides were top tier as well. Perfect location for families or a date night at Camp North End. 10/10, 5 stars, I'd give them a Michelin star if I had the authority.

Yelp
Blasian food truck stopped by today in Yorkshire neighborhood. My son wanted beef bulgogi. He only ate half. So I finished it. It wasn't spicy which is good for me. Because I don't do spicy. Yes I'm a different type of Asian. Bulgogi was very flavorful and well made. The service was quick like he's ready for us., customer service was on point. Too bad I ate ahead of time or else I would order more. I was hoping he will have fried Tteokbokki or Dakkocci which is a type of Korean skewers. Almost like a yakitori. I would've been stalking this food truck. All in all, I will have to track him down to try other things.

Seida S.

Yelp
The price paid for the food and amount is horrendous! $35 for two ounces of food that was supposed to feed two people is ridiculous. For the same amount might as well eat at a Korean BBQ place where you're able to eat all you want for better quality of food. Beyond disappointed! Taste was bland no seasoning. Steak boulgi was not it the chicken bowl was so dry i almost choked! Hell no!

VerKap P.

Yelp
I'm genuinely confused by all the good reviews. I ordered the chicken wings from Blasian Way at Camp North End, and they were incredibly bland and chewy. They tasted like someone just poured soy sauce and sesame seeds on them--no salt, no pepper, no real seasoning. It took forever to get my order, and when I finally did, I was served gamey wings with zero flavor. Maybe other items on the menu are better, but those wings were honestly terrible and super disappointing.

Yelp
This menu is so creative - korean flavors and ingredients, mashed up with Southern vibes. The bowls are my favorite - and I recommend asking for some extra spice. I love looking at the awesome murals around this area while I enjoy my food!

Yelp
As we were walking up to the food truck, Jeffrey was busy setting up some tables and finishing up on the menu sign for the day. He was extremely friendly and quickly acknowledged us and took our order. He explained that the fries would have a small wait time. He also made sure we were ok with all the items included in each meal. He was eager to answer any questions we had. Less than 5 minutes total our meals were ready and looked and smelled amazing. The portions were plentiful and the food was very tasty! We ordered two of the regular seoulgogi bowls and the bulgogi burger and fries. I would highly recommend checking him out!

Yelp
First, let's just acknowledge that I have to go back because clearly I devoured my food without taking one picture... blame my tummy and not my heart. I stopped by and grabbed a small Chicken Rice bowl and it was loaded with deliciousness. The chicken was tender and very well seasoned and the rice was sticky enough to enjoy my lunch with the option chopsticks. For the Uptown area, the food is affordable ($10 for a small plate) and a small is more than enough to get you through the remainder of your day... the rice bowls come in small, regular and large... there are also plate examples under the window to give you an idea of the size you're ordering. I warn you now... if you're getting a large for lunch, be prepared to enjoy it for dinner. The owner, Jeffrey, is dope and very knowledgeable regarding the food he's serving. Follow this truck on IG or FB to find out where he'll be posted next because you definitely want to try it. Just don't be greedy like me and forget to take pictures! Lol

Yelp
I went by Camp North End this past weekend, and got the bulgogi mac and cheese. FANTASTIC! Jeffrey and the staff were so nice, made suggestions, gave a sample, and made the entire experience even better. The food is an 11 out of 10. You have to try it

Sandy P.

Yelp
Got the steak fries! Taste of steak was good but fries were off. I would still try again. Fries need work, flavor was goid

James W.

Yelp
The service was great and speedy. Not only did they take the time to inform us about their menu, but the servers (Julianna in particular) made sure we had everything that we needed and even taught us how to use chopsticks! The food was very flavorfu. I ordered the Steak Rice Bowl with purple cabbage, carrots and pickled peppers. Everyone was so nice, I can't wait to come back when I'm in Charlotte.

Qiana R.

Yelp
The loaded fries are truly wonderful! Portion sizes are good and the food is delicious.

Maxine H.

Yelp
My first experience with the Blasian Asian Way food truck this past Thursday at my apartment complex. I had the rice & veggie bowl and let me just say it was AWESOME! I can't wait until he comes back this way, I wanna try some dumplings and his other bowls!
google avatar

Bobby T.

Yelp
The wings were nice!!! I really appreciated the sweet and tangy flavors it delivered.

Robert S.

Yelp
I was fortunate enough to be working on the day this food truck showed up where I work in Concord. I had a small beef bulgogi and rice bowl (also comes in medium and large) and three dumplings. It was more than enough food to fill me up for the rest of the day. The beef was so tender and flavorful and had just a hint of that smoky grilled flavor. The dumplings were fresh and hand made with good sauce but the star of the meal was that beef that I will be thinking about all day. Had the kimchi added at the recommendation of Jeff the chef and owner of the business. He also recommended the spicy mayo which I passed on but I will definitely add next time. Jeff, the owner, is super friendly and will gladly talk about anything on the menu and make recommendations. If you ever see this food truck or know it will be somewhere near you, definitely stop by for a great meal with super friendly service (at a pretty fair price too).

Yelp
I tried this on campus at uncc. First, prices are kind of high especially when preying on college students. Also I waited in line so long that I got sunburnt and then when I got to him he was kinda rude. The bulgogi chicken quesadilla had like 2 shreds of bagged cheese and it was cold; dumplings tasted a lot better but they were also cold. The bulgogi sauce doesnt taste like bulgogi at all; it cant be my moms home cooked korean food but it tastes like ketchup and soy sauce :p

Anonymous E.

Yelp
This was my first time eating at this food truck. The food was okay. I ate it all because I was hungry and was in a rush to grab something to eat. I'll give it a 6/10. The rice had a weird mushy texture to it and the chicken had too much salt in it. Sauce was okay. Ill maybe give it a second chance down the road but that's a maybe.

Kimberley N.

Yelp
This has been the best food I've eaten in Charlotte. We came for a 2 day weekend for a competition and I stumbled upon this food truck. I devoured my food and there was such generous portions for a very decent price! If I lived here, I would eat him all that time. Definitely give them a try. Also, the guy running the food truck is very sweet, great customer service.

Yelp
One of the nicest food truck chefs Ive ever dealt with and the food was TOP NOTCH! Had a chicken bowl with dumplings and spicy mayo. Absolutely fantastic!

Jordyn T.

Yelp
Food is good, chicken on the rice bowl is tender and flavorful. Just presentation is not as advertised. I was expecting everything pictures on the website in my bowl but got chicken rice carrot at and cabbage. Over all the serving was huge in the regular box. I just wanted the total experience.

Bob D.

Yelp
The chicken bulgogi rice bowl had two ingredients, rice and chicken. The chicken tacos was tortilla, chicken, and a tiny sprinkle of shredded cheese on one of two tacos. Yaki mondu was frozen store bought dumplings. Very disappointing. This was at Southern Range on 5/7/23. They were out of steak and Korean fried chicken, and this was only 2 hours into their shift.
