As a foodie and pizza freak, I was surprised that this pizza was really good. Fresh, made in front of you with gloves, and quality ingredients. The thin crust was excellent and the staff was excellent. I Really liked it

Build your own pizza is so much fun. Kids loved it and ate really well.

I wanted to say Kim is excellent, great energy, bakes the pizza exactly how you request. Is always on time, the pizza is never too burned or too light. A professional at his job, I will be coming here all the time and will continue to bring my family to this Blaze pizza.

The pizza is always delicious and made perfect at blaze pizza in fresh meadows. I do feel the staff there at times needs to be reminded of basic customer service. On November 17th 2024 on a Sunday night around 6pm I went there to pick up a online order my wife had ordered. The order was in her name so I wanted to let staff know instead of picking a order up that's not in my name and get falsely accused stealing a order. So I go straight to the counter, there's a guy putting pizza in the oven, he clearly sees me there and chooses to ignore me. Just saying I'll be right with you sir, or give me one minute sir goes a long way in basic customer service. Three other staff see me at the register and also choose to ignore me. Also forgot to mention it's just myself at the register, I'm not behind anyone. After a good 5-6 minutes of being blatantly ignored I asked the guy in the front making the pizza did he have a order with my wife's name. As a paying customer I do not think that treatment is acceptable. I understand things get busy in any fast food restaurant, but it really wasn't that busy at that specific time. In a nutshell just please let your staff be more mindful about basic customer service, I didn't leave there with a good feeling at all.

Blaze is the absolute best place you can go to make your own pizza. They have so many options for toppings and it’s just such a good place to have around. The cheesy bread is pretty good too! Plus, the workers here are always very nice.

Really worth it! I got a whole small pie of regular pizza for 7$ and it fills you up. They have other options like adding a topping or more and it’s not too crazy. I love the build your own concept. It’s not a long wait and it’s served hot and delicious!!

The workers at this location are great! I am very indecisive at times and the day I came here was one of those days! They helped me pick out the best pizza and it was just right for my stomach. It really turned my mood around to have some good food and good energy around me. Just tell them what you want and they'll have amazing recommendations for you! The place was clean, the rest of the workers were very attentive to cleaning up after the people finishing up with their food. I also liked that it was quick but crisped to perfection. Ps: My small service dog was welcome as well! 10/10 I 100% recommend this place.

Blaze Pizza is a great joint to go to if you're not looking to shell out a lot of money for a personal pie with ~unlimited toppings~. I always choose to build my own pizza because it's more worth it to be able to add whatever you want on it compared to the few ingredients on the signature pies for two or three dollars less. Everyone is able to customize their own pie into whatever abomination they see fit. The ingredients are good quality and always fresh. There's a wide variety of meats, veggies and cheeses. Your pie is always guaranteed to be fresh out the oven and piping hot. You can also add finishing dressings and toppings. The staff is always really friendly and generous with the servings. Great drink selection as well, there's Vitamin Water at the fountain drink dispenser!!! I have only had great experiences coming here.

My son was happy about his Build You Own Pizza. He gave it thumbs up. I was quite surprised that a pizza chain store could make such a tasty pizza. We did a Uber Eats pickup. Very efficient and accurate. My boy liked the thin crust, clean ingredients, and clean simple taste! Only the pineapple was definitely straight out from cans. It tasted mushy and sour ( caused by those preserve agents.)

Pizza is Ok to go but dont eat inside, the restaurant filthy and unkept. Bathroom is atrocious and smells horrible. Hasn't been cleaned in days..

Service is a 10/10!! The people working at blaze are so friendly and helpful (Shoutout to Chris for helping us!). I haven't had blaze in a hot minute so decided to stop by. I built an 11 inch pizza with a mix of red sauce / spicy red. You can choose from a variety of meats, cheese, and toppings. Note, if you go late they run out of some items! They ran out of basil and roasted broccoli when I went. After it comes out of the oven, you can pick a drizzle and sauces to dip your pizza with. It was delicious!! If you fill out a short survey online, you can get a free dessert too (choice of brownie, cookie, and smores). GET THE COOKIE. I'd come back again, especially to this location.

Waited years before trying because... chain pizza in NYC, and what a pleasant surprise! Friendly staff, great value, clean place, and quality high end ingredients. One build your own pizza for $15 including tax is enough to feed two hungry adults, with unlimited toppings including premium toppings like artichoke, Kalamata olives, blue cheese, fresh basil, 6 types of cheese, unlimited meats, etc. This is now our standard dinner before any movie we see at Fresh Meadows AMC. Wish we'd tried it sooner!

And here ladys and gentlemen the "Red vines" pizza. Isnt it such a masterpiece... much like piccaso. No but honestly who decide to put two buckets of sauce of a goddamn margherita pizza bro come on ‍ the pizza was soggy, the box was soggy from the sauce off the pizza, pretty much everything was soggy af. Do yourself the favor and save future you some money instead of wasting money on a goddamn piccaso pizza!

"I can't be played...A person trying to play me, plays themselves." Don't trust anyone that doesn't give Blaze five stars. They aren't rating the establishment, they are rating themselves. My Blaze experience has always been amazing. That is because you supervise the making of your pizza. Not like Chipotle. Not like subway. Like Blaze. Cause you literally can do whatever you want. However, most people suck. Their lives suck. Their imaginations suck and the pizza they make at Blaze sucks too. This is not that review or that pizza. The staff at this location are wonderful. You get greeted when you walk in. They smile and make jokes even though on the warmest days, sometimes with broken central air, they stand next to a freaking oven. More importantly, my pizza is amazing. I get the build your own on an 11 inch classic crust. I then ask for garlic pesto sauce. I get both types of mozzarella cheese (fresh mozzarella and shredded mozzarella). I get both olives (black and kalamata), roasted garlic, pepperoni, applewood bacon, mushrooms, basil, tomatoes, both spices (sea salt and oregano) and sometimes i put peppers. Then when it comes out of the oven I do the olive oil drizzle and the pesto drizzle and I ask that it be put in a box to go even if I am going to eat it there. They charge me like $13. The pizza is amazing and if I don't eat it all, it tastes just as amazing the next day after being warmed in the air fryer. There is parking. It is free. This is one of my favorite places to eat pizza. It is open late. You can grab and go or eat inside or outside. This is not your New York struggle pizza. I love the pizza I make, I make it consistently because I watch what is happening and communicate with the staff, all of whom have been AMAZING at making my pizza and doing what I ask. If I want more garlic, they got it. I want more of anything, they got it. So five stars here. Five for them. Five for me. If you can't make your pizza at Blaze five stars, you only have yourself to blame.

Had to stop eating to write a review ... please come to this location. Every time I've been here you are greeted with a clean place , nice atmosphere , wonderful staff, a lot of choices that are fully stocked, and enough seating . The food comes out quickly and it's as good as it looks . Also, thank you to the wonderful staff who helped us out today ! **Recommend coming here for the first time on Sundays around noon... so you can try the food and not have to worry about a lunch or dinner rush and take your time looking at the menu **

Horrible - they literally made it so I could not order on yelp - input address and it is impossible to proceed - call them - use uber eats - which will work at a much higher price - terrible business

There was a promotion where we were able to get $5 off any order, so this gave us the perfect excuse to finally try Blaze Pizza! We decided to make 2 orders of Build Your Own 11-inch Pizza, which is normally ($12.25). One was made with classic dough, red sauce, parmesan and mozzarella cheese, pepperoni and Italian sausage, cherry tomatoes, fresh basil, jalapenos, and Frank's Red Hot Sauce Drizzle. This combination was delicious. There was a perfect combination of savory meats, mixed with heat from the drizzle, sweetness from the sauce and tomatoes, and heat/tanginess from the jalapenos. The other was made with classic dough, spicy red sauce, applewood bacon, pepperoni, Italian sausage, meatball, mozzarella cheese, fresh basil, roasted garlic, and pesto drizzle. This combination was also very good, and here is a good amount of each topping distributed. I was a little iffy when I saw how thin the pizza was, but it still held the toppings well, and the crust had a great crunch. I will definitely be back.

First time visiting on a Sunday afternoon. They were not busy but there was a steady stream of customers. We got a coupon for BOGO so we decided to try. It is a make your own pizza place. You go through a cafeteria like line and told them what you want on your pizza. Each 11 inches pizza is $12.25. Extra charge for special dough such as gluten free or cauliflower. Pro: -Parking is ample. You can park at the back at the plaza ( no back door to the store though) or in the front with free meter parking on Sunday. -Fresh ingredients. Everything tastes fresh and prepared fresh. - unlimited toppings! You can load it up! - good customer service. Staff are friendly and knowledgeable. - make sure you try the blood orange lemonade! Rich blood orange taste. Not too sweet. Paper straw available upon request. If not, you use a cap with a sip hole. I like the idea of being environmental friendly. - price is reasonable. You may get cheaper pizza from other pizza places but can't beat the freshness of this. - download their app to get one time $5 off $15 and earn reward points. - indoor and outdoor seating available - bathroom was clean - free Wifi -self serve station including parmesan cheese and red pepper shakers and to go boxes. Con: - we dined in. Throughout our stay, I didn't see one staff cleaning the tables. We cleaned our own before sitting down. Conclusion: definitely will return. Most impressive was the freshness and quality of pizza. Must get the blood orange lemonade again! Easy parking also.

8.95 for a bottle of diet coke and a person pizza is easily one of the best deals in Fresh Meadows. I ordered on the app for pickup and it was ready within 10 minutes of ordering. The price includes one topping but what's great about blaze is that you can also add drizzles and arugula so it feels like much more of a value for your buck. I got a personal pie with shredded mozz, red sauce, meatballs, balsamic glaze, pesto, and arugula. The pizza was very well cooked but so poorly cut. I ended up with this slice pictured below which was honestly just funny so I wasn't mad. If the only issue was poor slicing job than that's a job well done for a fast casual joint IMO.

I came back here and the pizza was absolutely amazing. I got the build your own and I loaded it with mushrooms, green bell peppers, Italian meatballs, spinach, and basil. It was so good and the serving sizes were perfect. The service was fast even though it was really busy and the workers are cordial.

If you are in the mood for good thin crust pizza with just about anything you can want on it, then Blaze is the place to go.

Blaze is always a big hit - customizing your own pizza - from crust to sauce to cheese to toppings - really what could be better than that? The pizza is quick and delicious, and the staff at this location are top notch and always willing to accommodate any requests. Blaze has a great rewards program as well, and this location has ample seating both indoors and outdoors. Always a great place for a quick bite.

I was skeptical after reading some of the reviews on here. Seems like they are from local pizza shops trying to discredit this place. I ordered a 11" pizza, you get to put as many toppings on it as you wish as well as a finishing drizzle, it is a bargain. It was delicious! Great crust, fresh toppings, very filling. Will definitely order again!

Love the individual pies. From order to eating was a manageable time.. Excellent staff on our two visits. Would live to see a buffalo or bbq chicken pizza in the future.

Came here with friends to try the pizza. It was heated with pure fire. The sauce and chicken were natural. The sides are fragile, easy to digest. Fulfilling per person. Would come here again for group hangout.

(Really a 3.5) Good convenient spot for a quick freshly made personal size pizza. This definitely isn't the place for an authentic NY slice but more of what you would expect from a franchise. The crust is on the thin side but they offer a wide variety of toppings. We ordered from the list of signature pizzas and swapped out a couple of ingredients. The blood orange lemonade was delicious. Staff were friendly and helped with swapping ingredients or suggesting sauces and toppings.

The pizza is good but suffers from a lack of consistency. I have ordered here several times online and sometimes the pizza is good and sometimes bad. When it's bad, it's pretty bad, like soggy dough and uneven distribution of toppings. There were times when I placed an order online and still had to wait 15 minutes for it when I arrived there. I like the pizza when everything flows the way it should, but everytime I go in to pick up my pies, there seems to be different people working there and I go pretty regularly on the same days and times, is there a high turnover of personnel? The pies are not consistent enough in quality recently. The big plus in eating here is the app. You can order and customize your pizza online and schedule a time frame when you want it made for a pick up. Some locations deliver as well. The app let's you earn points for free food and beverages. The ingredients are fresh but like I said earlier, consistency in delivering a great pie is not there. In addition this location has recently had issues for ordering online. The best deals come from the app and saves you a few bucks, who doesn't want to save a few dollars? Indoor and outdoor seating is available.

I ate the food before taking a pic it was delicious, had the bbq chicken pizza with fresh tomatoes added! It was sooo good and to top it off- excellent service everyone was super friendly when we got up to get seasonings they insisted on bringing to us and even made suggestions! I would totally go back and will... next time I'll remember to take a pic!

This place is wow been here a couple of Times . Variety / speed / quality and flavors is soooo on point especially for a kid! We love this place now and will be back .

Had blaze for the first time on Thursday night and all I could say is.... YUM!! We had a Two topping and a White top. We will definitely be going back!! Thanks for the great experience Chris and for recommending one of the signature pizzas, it was delicious!!

I had very low expectations for Blaze given the prices, and I'm so glad I did. I was expecting a product comparable to other fast pizza chains (Dominos, Pizza Hut, Papa Johns), but it's easily better than all of them. It's essentially the Chipotle of fast pizza, and I love how many toppings options they have. If you somehow don't find your pizza tasty, my dude that's on you for not selecting the right combo. For $11~, the flavor and quantity makes Blaze very worth. The wait time is also minimal, mainly because the crust is extremely thin. Faster than other pizza chains, and similar to regular fast food. Blaze is great, for what it is.

I came here for Pi day ($3.14 for a pie) and stood on that long line because Blaze Pizza is my favorite pizza chain. There should be more stores throughout New York. This location in particular doesn't fail me whatsoever, and I come every week. :)

If you like bar type of pizza, this is just as good. Many choices to choose from. Even the choices of desserts are good too.

I've been here before. For chain pizza it good. You can try topping combos without committing to a $25+ pizza at a "real" pizzeria. They seem to struggle keeping the line moving. Hard to select from a myriad of topping when you pizza is further down the assembly line than you are. I got online 15 minutes ago and my pizza still isn't in the oven. I'd still come back though.

I ended in this place by accident. This is as lively as a corner gets in Fresh Meadows. The atmosphere is alluring, with lots of very young people having fun. There is a cool fire oven, and the staff is really nice. Pizzas are ok. Not bad, but neither great. The flavors stay in a bit of a well known mild part of the spectrum; and the dough, marinara, mozzarella are ok, but not really great. You won't find here natural leaven, and therefor pizzas do not have the toasted bubbles that make Naples pizza so amazing. Still a fun and lively place where a just ovened nice pizza is always available.

Great experience: I went to blaze pizza for the first time and experienced a nice atmosphere. There is a line as soon as you walk in. When it was my turn she asked for a name and if I've ever been there before. I said no, and she began to explain how the ordering process worked. She explained everything so well. I ended up with a "build your own" pie. You chose your crust, sauce, and plenty of toppings. I chose classic crust with white sauce. Toppings were pepperoni, sausage, bacon, and a few veggies. When the pie comes out of the oven, you decide on the fixings at the end. I chose the pesto sauce to be drizzled on my pizza. It was delicious. Thanks again.

Okay so this review is biased. I found Blaze a few weeks after they opened on 188th Street in Fresh Meadows and that was my first time trying it. Almost everyone knows I fell head over heels for this place. I love the option to be completely simple with a simple pie or go crazy with making my own. I've been here upwards of 20/30 times and I've only been disappointed once. The disappointment was due to how busy they were and not due to the food so I won't take any points of for that. The service is here is always friendly and the atmosphere is extremely nice. The store is always clean and the food is always fresh. I love using their rewards system, it's super easy to add points and redeem rewards. The one issue I have with Blaze as a company is their struggle with gift cards; I had loaded gift cards on the app but for some reason using them is such a struggle that I've all but given up. I've always enjoyed my pizza and while I do see some reviewers aren't happy with their consistency, I haven't run into that issue yet. I always enjoy how my pizza comes out and definitely will keep coming here. Prices are solid and the app always has decent deals. Parking is free in the back :)

The food always made fresh. Service always friendly and knowledgeable. Love the setup. Choice of sitting at a bar height or normal seating. Always clean. Definitely coming back a few times.

They fell off. The benefit was the customer service. They had a problem when I suggested that Peter was a little too well done plus the courtesy water for the kids

Been here a couple times for pick up. Order online for a faster experience. Pizza was decent, as long as you eat it ASAP. They pile on the toppings so the slices can be a little heavy and start to sag if not enjoyed promptly. They also have vegan options which worked out for my lactose intolerant husband. Prices are reasonable as well. Overall, not bad for chain pizza!

Chris and Erika were super helpful and provided great service. My daughter is disabled and they were very patient with us, helping her make her pizza and putting a smile on her face. Amazing staff and food was delicious.

What a DISASTER!!! I thought it would be a great idea to order pizza for my family to celebrate my mother's birthday. I ordered two large pies. One pepperoni pie and one plain pie with extra cheese. The pizza arrived cold, burnt, and the plain one did not have extra cheese. In addition, the pizza slices were not even big enough to satisfy a child! The order was a total of $42. A complaint resulted in us waiting for an email. I will never order from Blaze Pizza again!

Eh. I've been wanting to try this place for a while, especially because they offer a keto based dough. We got one regular pizza for the kids which they liked. Not the best, nothing special but they enjoyed it. The cheesy bread was alright but it was cold when it got to us. I ordered a make my own. I got the keto dough with white cream sauce, mozzarella cheese, olives, mushrooms, bacon, green peppers and onions. It was burnt to a crisp and had barely any sauce or cheese on it so the whole thing was just extremely dry and like cardboard in my mouth. No taste all. They charge $4 extra for the keto crust and it was TINY. I've had the keto crust elsewhere and it's been delicious. Very disappointed with this one. Not sure if I'll give them a second chance honestly. Maybe if they put more sauce and cheese it would be better. But honestly I'd put this place on the same level as Dominoes.

In theory, this really should be good pizza. But, if you're a New Yorker, this may not be the one for you. It's not as cardboard-like or dreadful as the likes of Domino's or one of those. But, it's formulaic pizza, aimed at fast in and out at a cheap price. What makes Blaze work (and admittedly, I've ordered from here for delivery a bunch of times lately) are four things: 1) it's very affordable to get on a daily basis at the office. 2) the 11-inch ones are perfect for someone ordering for one (or even two depending on how hungry). 3) it's rather simple to order online because it's formulaic, and 4) it's incredibly light (probably because it's so cheap), which makes it a little less of a nightmare for those of us who want to eat pizza a few times a week without adding on the pounds. That said, today I decided to skip Blaze and order from a higher-end gourmet Italian restaurant near by and it made me realize that sometimes saving a few bucks isn't worth the great taste of pizza that Blaze doesn't deliver on. Bottom line: It is what it is. There's a reason you can get a small pizza for $10.99, with as many cheese, vegetable and meat toppings as you want. But, keep in mind, ordering for items, doesn't mean it's really going to come loaded or even cheesy. They skimp on a lot. So really, it's just high-end cardboard with some nifty stuff (sparse at that) on top.

Came here on Sunday with my boyfriend to try something different in the neighborhood for lunch. We ordered a pie but split it between two of their specialty pizzas. We got half meat lover which had meatballs and pepperoni with red onions and marinara sauce. The other half had white sauce with mozzarella and arugula with pesto. Both halves were so delicious. We definitely want to go back and try all the other types. They also have create your own. The desserts looked really yummy also we just didn't have time to get any. The people behind the counter, from the ones taking our order to the ones making our order were so nice and helpful. can't wait to go back and try it again.

Sooooo I kinda came here prepared to have burned crust after reading all the reviews. Of course I was planning to reminding them not burn it while ordering but we ran into an old friend online forgot to to mention. Also, let's be real they shouldn't burn it in the first place, who eats burnt pizza??!? When we arrived there was a relatively long line but it was moving at a decent pace. We ordered 3 pies VEG OUT: I would think it should have more veggie options, once the toppings were on it wasn't vegged out enough for me, next time I'll add my own veggie toppings Simple pie: they burned this one to the max, YIKES!!! We had to go back and let them know, they were kind and made a new one for us once we showed them the black crust. Make your own: ham and pineapple: this was pretty good! The pineapples are from a can obviously but the ham was really good. I like that you can choose your crust from regular which is think, to the thicker crust within FYI is double the calories and keto (for the trendy peeps) lol. The lemonades are very very sweet, I would say bring a water bottle to water them down. I felt the sugar rush after the first sip, no me gusta! Conclusion: I will be back, I feel like they will handle the burnt crust situation eventually, I think when they are super busy it's hard to track each pie which is why this happens. The prices are reasonable and the pizza is pretty good.

The current 3 1/2 stars sounds about right. I would describe this place as the Chipotle of pizza. Assembly line casual eats pizza chain. I read after that it was unlimited toppings, but I wasn't clear on that during my visit. Fun fact: Lebron James is involved in this chain. I picked the meat eater personal pie ($11+) off their featured menu, it had just enough pepperoni, & meatballs to satisfy. I would recommend checking their menu online before heading over, as there are some specials that aren't posted (anywhere). Dining area is spacious, & relaxing. The oven gives off a cool look with the flames on the sides, but it is likely a gas oven. Overall cute concept. They also have a spacious outdoor dining area. This place is right by the expressway, so easy accessibility; & is part of a strip mall. Makes for a nice destination, other then to grab a bite.
