The drag brunch was beyond amazing and the food incredible. Maybe one of the best eggs Benedict I've ever had.

We had so much fun at dinner at blend. Drinks were delicious, food was delicious, and service was spectacular! The beef empanadas are the BEST empanadas I’ve had in my life and finding out it was a family recipe was extra special. I’ve been here for nightlife many a time and had GREAT times, but don’t sleep on the food!! Louis and crew, y’all are doing amazing — can’t wait until my next visit.

I recommend this place, and I would come back. I enjoy having a queer place to go out with my family and friends. It is a queer friendly establishment, so if you are judgemental or do not like or support lgbtq+ just find a different place. Our waiter was so cute, on top of that he was very nice funny, and informative. The food was good. It wasn't exceptional, but it was not bad. The food came out quick and it was pretty affordable. I enjoyed the music and the space. The brunch menu was kind of small, it did not have alot of options that we are used to having when we go to brunch. Nonetheless, the food was not bad and I would come back.

Food ranged from "meh" to good. Drinks were not tasty, but were strong. The music is always bad. The background music during dinner is fine. But the DJ plays maybe 1 recognizable song for every 15 or 20. The rest just all sounds the same and gets very boring. People want to hear things they know! Edit: Apologies to the owner, I don't know how to post a response to your message. I know it was a weekday, but I don't remember which day specifically. The drink was the pineapple daiquiri - it mostly just tasted like slightly sweetened alcohol. That's good to know about parking! I'll edit that out. I recently found out you host an event with Stevie Psyclone as the DJ. I'll have to swing by for that.

Don't be a black woman, you will be served last (this is on a club night) To be clear, not looking to be served first (unless I clearly get there first). Just not expecting to feel like the bartenders hate black women Music was better than expected tho!! If you're a white gay, you'll have a great time. If you're a black queer femme... 😬

I stopped in yesterday for Taco Tuesday a special menu that was listed on the website. I was in the mood for Mexican and really wanted a margarita. The server seem to be taken care of the whole place. The bar, the side room where the dance floor is had people in it and people on the patio put back. It was myself and two other women sitting at the bar. At first the waiter seemed okay. Semi-friendly. I asked him a bunch of questions because the last three restaurants I went to had surprise charges on the bill. He seemed to be annoyed by my question. Then I asked him about the tacos and the size of them. He seemed annoyed. I was pretty hungry and was trying to decide whether to get two or three tacos. I'm glad I only got two. It wasn't busy and there were two women cooking in the very small kitchen area. I ordered a white fish taco which I had to ask the waiter what the whitefish was and he said COD. Not quite sure why that wasn't just listed on the menu. And that it was fried. I asked him if it was a decent piece of fish he said yes. I then asked about the shrimp taco. Which I was told only had two shrimp in it for $6. That's ridiculous even in a Mexican restaurant you get 3 or 4. Depending on the size. And then it would come with rice in the taco. I decided on the pulled pork. The cod fish taco with such a small piece of fish which was topped with way too much pineapple salsa. I could barely see the fish or taste it. The fish had no seasoning and was very bland what little piece I got to taste. The pulled pork was mostly coleslaw on the bottom and a little bit of pulled pork on the top which was barely warm. A very good friend of mine performs at the drag Brunch and I told her that I would come in and try the food before buying a ticket to the brunch. I ordered a cocktail of rye whiskey and a little ginger beer with a lime. Old overholt which was more than any place I've ever paid for it. A horrible poor and mostly ginger beer. My experience with the waiter was already not the best. So I didn't want to return or complain about the food and my awful drink. I finished my food and my glass of ginger beer and paid the check. I left him a decent tip but a lot less than I normally tip because I'm in the hospitality business and I always tip 20 to 25% when the service is great and the food is delicious. This is the second time I have visited this establishment. The first time was mediocre in this time was poor. I have three taco places near my house. One of them being street tacos that are a dollar cheaper and more filling of protein in the taco than here. I wanted to like this place so I can come back but everything was very bad. If your price is it going to be that expensive in Dorchester then the food should match the price in portion and in flavor. As a private chef I was totally shocked at the food placed in front of me. This place is in my hood and I want it to like it so I can have a local watering hole. Looks like I will have to keep looking. Maybe in 3 months I will try again. Maybe the service in the food will be a lot better. Right now it's too pricey for what you get for food. Signed, Extremely Disappointed

I'm so happy I found Blend! I had a delayed hair appointment and went to Blend to get something to eat while I wait. I got there just when it opened so I was the first person there. Such a dope spot and very big! I got the mozz sticks which were the typical delish app. I also ordered a Cobb salad which was so g. Not only was the food and ambience super cute. Jillian and James really gave awesome options for food and drinks. They have drag brunches on Sunday and I plan on going soon!

This review is specifically about dinner on the weekend before any dancing got started. My husband did a rather cursory review for fun dinner spots for my birthday which is how we found ourselves, our 2 tweens, and my elderly in-laws at one of 2 tables in a fabulous rainbow decorated queer dance club on a random Saturday evening at 6pm. There were huge TV screens playing 90s girly pop music videos everywhere, including a floor to ceiling one near the DJ booth dance area where our table was set up. My daughter was dying of cringe and my son was asking a million questions (e.g., why does the bathrooms have a 1 person at a time sign?) and my in-laws were kind of confused, and it was a bit awkward...and then it was just kind of amazing. The waiter and bartender were so friendly and fun, the music was nostalgically terrific, they brought me a very delicious sundae with a candle and the other table sang too, and I had a really lovely birthday. My kids got a nice preview of their nightclubbing future and we got to hear my father in law ask, a week later, if anyone else thought maybe the place we went to was a gay bar. Absolutely epic. Since it was just us and one other table on a Saturday at dinner time I want to STRONGLY RECOMMEND THE FOOD! It should've been packed! Don't sleep on dinner at Blend. It is really delicious! Also the dessert! They have non-alcoholic drink options! And good alcoholic ones, too! It's sparkly and welcoming and smells nice, and the all-gender bathrooms are pretty and clean. I want to come back for the food and stay for the dancing next time.

Music is 10/10. Difficult to enjoy because the dance floor after 12am becomes prohibitively hot. How hard it is to put 4-5 portable air conditioners in guys or figure out a solution? Brutal fml. ps. Anthony the bartender is so good.

Great service, atmosphere and food/drinks! The staff is the best! The drag brunches are always a blast and is a great place to go late night out dancing with friends!

What a riot! My girlfriends and I came for brunch, specifically a Britney Spears-themed Drag Show Brunch! The food was great and the entertainment, even better! We ordered cereal flavored donuts to start. I'm not a big cereal or donut person, but I really enjoyed them! One of my friends commented one of the cereals on the donuts were stale but I didn't notice. Then I ordered the eggs benedict for my entree. The homemade hollandaise sauce made this meal - I could have drank it or eaten it as a soup, it was that delicious!! The homefries were sort of bland but the hollandaise sauce more than made up for up it. I ordered some kind of fancy/boozy coffee drink that was also delicious (and strong!). The whole time we were eating, there was the drag show going on around us, which we thought was funny and entertaining. It's certainly not your typical brunch experience, but it was a lot of fun!

Great place. The staff was amazing, super friendly. The cocktails are amazing. I do not like vodka but the Strawberry Martini was so good, I had three! I cannot wait to come back for brunch. And one day to go dancing!

This place has great servers and amazing food. We walked in and we're a little worried, it looks like a really fun dance club, and we were looking for good food. But the drinks were fire, the tempura broccoli was to die for, Mac and cheese on point and the chicken Caesar wrap was the best I've had for a long time. We felt incredibly safe and welcomed there. Support this business at all costs, their food is phenomenal!

I met a staff member in Boston while attending the First Event for the LGBTQ community. My wife decided to check out the festivities since they have the most Amazing shows. We felt so welcomed, and could not stop laughing. We had the most delicious burgers, I have told my friends all about this place, and I would suggest people give it a try.

It's so great to have a thriving restaurant with friendly staff and great food! Had the Fried Pickles (sorry, no pic; ate it too fast), and steak tips. The tips were right on point tender and flavorful, Mac salad was delish, and fries were crispy on outside and soft and full on inside.

It was a fun experience & good food. Really enjoyed the music. Would recommend to anyone looking for a diverse & fun place

The drinks they have are really good and very reasonably priced. I've ordered the steak tips a couple of times and again recently and they are the best steak tips I have had, and I've had a lot! They are very tasty and tender. The service is also really good

James was a fantastic host! Was able to fit us inside for the drag brunch they have on Sundays. The bartenders are great and the drag show is a lot of fun. Would recommend!

First place I went to post masks. I'm a big brunch person and have my go-to place down the street. But wanted to try someplace different. To make this short.... I did have a complaint, my food was cold!! But I was so hungry so I ate it anyway because I didn't want to wait for it to get sent back. I did tell the waitstaff, and they were lovely, offered to get me a new meal. I said it was fine. That's on me.... the food was good even tho cold. I didn't want to make a big deal. I hate to complain!! My friend was happy with her meal and both our drinks were good. That being said they took my meal off the bill. Not necessary but much appreciated. Class act joint. I'm definitely going to go back. The menu looks great.

What a great spot! Came for date night and loved it. The food and drinks were awesome and the staff was so lovely and friendly. Good vibes all around, can't wait to go back!

Had a lovely time here during disco brunch! Everyone was super spaced out and it's clear they're taking COVID precautions seriously. Everyone enjoyed the different cocktails and bucket of mimosas for the table and the disco music/music videos playing in the big screens. It was also my moms birthday and they brought over a brownie sundae which was so sweet and kind!

This is a great establishment, I'm a gay Hispanic male and the are very welcoming. They have a lgbtq night once a week and the bartender jay is super nice and makes great drinks!
