Top Philly Clubs and Lounges to Dine and Drink | Eater Philly

"When it comes to martini bars in Philly, Bleu Martini is a go-to, but its service and reputation extend far beyond its staple beverage. Open every day from Monday to Sunday, book a table for one of its many weekly events (such as music-themed nights like Feelgood Fridays, Bleumagic Saturdays, and Afrobeat Sundays) or to enjoy its menu of fun and flavorful Asian and American fusion plates." - George Banks-Weston

Vibes 10/10 the music is a hit, the food is good, and the drinks are even better! They also have a bathroom attendant is the ladies restroom. It’s a vibe whether you’re going with bae or a girls night out! I highly recommend

Google
Happy hour was not happy. Meh, mediocre food and drinks. Hot wings were average Crab cake sandwich was over cooked crab claw sandwich with hot fries. Drinks were weak!!! Sat at bar and the tip of 20+% was already added in. I guess this place should change their name to bleu martini and hookah.

Google
Went for restaurant week Here’s my review: Service- extremely slow and the waitress was very inattentive. She never came over to ask if we needed anything else or was everything okay. It was dead at 5 pm on a Friday night and it was so slow. The appetizers came out fast but the entree took forever even though it was dead. Food: some of it taste like it came straight out of a box and the rest of the food was bland. This is more of a night life spot- hip hop music being played. They automatically charge you 18% gratuity even the the service sucked. The most I would have paid is 15% for poor service

So I came for happy hour (although I got there after happy hour hours lol) to meet my friend and her family and when I say they was vibing in there when I got there I was love it. (Them meaning her family) lol. What I can say is the chicken wings were phenomenal lol. I mean I didn’t even ask for well done and they already was nice and crispy the drinks are good and strong. The service from the bartenders wasn’t the best but I am realizing that’s just the bar culture during these times lol. So I look pass that attitude and still will give this place a good ratings cause I had a good time and will go back again.

Google
Great vibes everytime I come here. The service is pretty good, the music is always on point, never had food here so I can't vouch for that. But the spot is extremely small so it's best if you get there within the first hour or two of opening.

Google
This was a pretty neat spot in the city. I went on a Wednesday night with my girlfriend for hookah. The place was calm and clean, the waitress was nice, and the food was delicious. However some of the items were slightly overpriced and at the end there were some discrepancies on our bill, the waitress was nice about it and removed all the extra charges. Overall I had a pleasant experience and very delicious food.

Google
I have been coming to the Bleu Martini for years and it never disappoints!! I am from Baltimore and make the quick trip up to road for fun and an amazing time. The atmosphere is amazing, the food is wonderful, the drinks are nice and when its party time...its party time!! Very mature crowd and I always make a friend or two each time I go. If you want a nice place for evening cocktails during the week or a place to get down party, this is your place!! I highly highly reccomend The Bleu Martini!!

Google
Went here for restuarant week and my experience was overall eh. The food was not horrible but also not the best considering the price. Now I saw that they had hookah and a wide selection of drinks so it may be better for those things rather than the food. On the plus side, the waitress was nice and I liked the calm, cool atmosphere.

Yelp
I actually like the battered fries. I ordered what I thought was shrimp cocktail?? I received a martini glass with wilted lettuce a splash of a more ketchup than cocktail sauce & my shrimp was cocktail and cooked. Idk It is a nice chill setting. The booth seat was comfortable since the bar was busy. The young lady that assisted us was nice. I inquired about the ingredients for a menu item and she was nice to check with the kitchen. Upon getting the check the one woman presented another Hookah. No thank you because we were leaving. Turns hot I got hit with the "Flim Flam". In the attached pics you will see that I added a tip to the "Pre-Tip" amount of $144.67. I later noticed the charge of $171 with my bank. I thought to myself $171??? I just came home and realized I in fact have a receipt where I noted a tip of $26.33 + $144.67 = $171.00 But wait, my itemized receipt has a subtotal of $121 + $1.60 (tax) + $22.07 (gratuity) = $144.67 WAIT! The math isn't mathing, or it was for them. (Ching Ching) To put it nicely, they doubled dipped. So, I paid a $48.40 tip for a $121.00.

Yelp
The customer service here is TRASH down to the security and bouncer. Even if you purchase a table, if you arrive after 10:30 you have to pay a cover. That's just greedy as hell when tables are $500 for 3 people. Bottle service girls are SO slow. I guess they're understaff. Don't use this place for anything special like a birthday. Literally only come if you're in the area.
google avatar

Molly S.

Yelp
Boyfriend and I came for happy hour on my birthday and enjoyed a little hookah. It was pretty empty since the happy hour started at 4

Yelp
The ambiance is a place that I didn't enjoy. This is more of a late-night club feel of an establishment. It was my first time here, and I was willing to try something new based on a recommendation from a friend. I was already feeling challenged with the selection options for cocktails, the food options and the presentation/taste of the cheesesteak egg rolls. I didn't enjoy my experience sitting at the bar. This isn't a place that I would return to.

Yelp
Bleu Martini is always a great spot for music. The place gets pretty packed so my suggestion is to not wear heels unless you want to step on someone's toes or have vip. Their drinks are good too! When in doubt, my friends and I go here because they always have a great dj.

Yelp
Whoop, whoop! Upping my experience with a solid four stars. Back again for another bday get together and Bleu Martini was the bar of choice because they have a Sunday Happy Hour from 6 to 8pm. We arrived on the scene at 7pm and the small bar area was packed but there were plenty of open tables. We were told we could still get the Happy Hour specials. 5 dollar drink specials and 6 dollar bar bites. The pours were generous and the wings, tenders and fries were some of the best fried bits we'd had in a long time. I wound up ordering two of the wing specials because the first only came with three. The second came with four. I was more than satisfied. Also the music was good. The volume was just right. You could enjoy it and talk to your friends in a normal time of voice. All in all, a positive and relaxed vibe. My only negative was getting the attention of our server who had been chillin until we asked another employee if we could get some food ordered. After that she was on point.

Yelp
whoa guys im truly disappointed with my latest experience here. having been here numerous times from dates to having a b day party here to jusy girls night i was confident bringing my date here for dinner cocktals and some hookah. My nightmare began when my date was terribly kate but anyway yall want to know about the place so lets dig in. although they are operating with a full bar and menu i was displeased with where they made changes at. i dont know about everyone else but when i come downtown its for the experience the top tier experience. this was nothing of that nature. my waitress although she was nice she had absolutely no knowledge of them menu i actually asked could we have another and she said there were no others available (however she told her manager that she offered us to move but she didnt) if i asked i would have moved it was just that bad. she didnt know what a glass of riesling was she didnt know what that was she couldn't explain anything on the menu. she couldn't pronounce things correctly or anything a mess they threw her out there she took our menus before we were able to order our food we had to ask for them back y'all please don't judge me for what i say next thing. we ordered steak with garlic mashed and a caesar salad it came on plastic plates and plastic silverware our drinks call in plastic cups so i asked to speak to the to the manager...due to covid they are short staff and have no one to wash dishes. i was disgusted and embarrassed to have brought someone here with what we experienced anyway to make matters worst my date ordered two drinks one after the other and clearly one didn't have sugar on the rim she insisted that it did but stevie wonder could have saw that it didn't but what my date said after had me done she asked the waitress was she dumb smh then they gave us the check. i apologized for her cause that was unacceptable but the manager told me we had been a problem table the whole night i have NEVER been the issue i was embarrassed and very apologetic for my guest im still in disbelief honestly... however that was the end of the night the last straw .. im just saying if u want downtown vibes maybe try somewhere else

Yelp
Been coming here for many years and lots and lots of memories! Great atmosphere and drinks and food are delicious!

Yelp
Much better drinks than earlier in our day. Appetizers were great too. Small, chill spot. We did laugh when a friend ordered Merlot, & our server said they didn't have it. So we pointed to the menu & she admitted they she had never heard of it, saying "most people order moscato." They also have hookah. Ok experience.
google avatar

Yelp
Good drinks. Great atmosphere and music. Looking for hookah, music and drinks and a great party atmosphere... then this is the place for you. Come party and enjoy. Cover charge

Yelp
Cool little happy hour spot to check out after work. There's a parking garage right next door which is kind of pricey ($17) but I highly suggest just paying to park there because this area is a tow zone so BEWARE as my friend came out to no car. As far as the restaurant, I didn't have any food but the food looked good, the margarita martini was right up my alley and the hookah was a nice touch. The place is a bit small, but covid proof and our server was really nice so I'll definitely be returning here
google avatar

Yelp
Come hear early in the night because by 10 o'clock this plce is packed! I'm not sure why this fills up so quickly but it basically becomes wall to wall people. You'll also be able to avoid the cover they charge. The music and DJ are pretty decent but service gets so much slower. Coming here before the dancing is a whole different atmosphere. It's literally empty. We had no trouble getting a seat at the bar. And there were lots of tables empty. You could only find the occasional small group smoking hookah at the tables around the place. The drinks here are great and are made really strong so definitely worth it. Don't be afraid to order food at the bar. It all also comes really fast and is prepared well. I'd do a sampling of the different apps.

Yelp
Interesting place. Was not a crowd when we went. It's definitely is the type place that will get busy very fast. After 10pm it's a $10 door fee. It was a blue lighting place (hint: bleu Martini). Which gave it the lounge atmosphere feeling. The travel seating in the front is not where you want to sit if your a big guy. The seating is very tight and the table is bolted in so it do not move. For the uncomfortable seating. I give them 2.5 star The food was excellent. I recommend the spicy shrimp and calamari over rice. That was excellent. For the limited dinner menu a 2.5 star. But 5 star for the perfectly cooked food.

Marquèsha E.

Yelp
This place was very fun! We had so much fun dancing! The Dj was lit and played most of the song that we requested. It was kinda pricey it's a $20 entry fee. Other than that it was fine.

Yelp
I wouldn't recommend, at all. I am a dancer, and and quite some time ago, I came back to this club crippled, while I was going through paralysis. During my younger days. To support someone for an event. The owner of this club, Bryan, literally follows me around - my newly paralyzed and crippled body. Calling me "Nike" - Laughing uncontrollably until I cried. My real name is above. I am much, much younger than this man. This could have been his daughter. Please support businesses that do not bully or slander women. Especially ones going through any type of despair, disability, or illness.

Yelp
So grateful for the late night eats and friendly bartenders. We had traveled over 10 hours from Cali on a nightmare flight. Our hotel had no food or bar, we hadn't eaten since breakfast. This spot saved the day. Our chicken fingers and quesadilla were tasty, but mostly appreciate the service and staff including the door man who made me feel welcome. It was 1 am and it looked like a cool place with good music.
google avatar

Dianna S.

Yelp
Went here on a slow Tuesday night and the female bartenders were very rude and unfriendly.. they added 20% gratuity to my bill which is outrageous since I was a single diner and the bartender definitely didn't deserve it!!. I noticed this place has gone downhill and it's probably due to their unsatisfactory customer service and rip off services they charge for. There are definitely better places in the area to go to I thought I was doing something since there wasn't a large crowd of people that night.. will not be returning!! Avoid if you like decent customer service and fair prices.

Yelp
I feel like this place is certainly underrated ! I hosted a dinner and I had a few guest they were extremely accommodating with reservations and what not. Parking is even extremely convenient as there is a place across the street and next to this location. I don't drink but my guest really enjoyed I believe it was that Henny-Rita or it was a Henny martini I can't really say at this moment but they did really rave about it. . . I started my dinner with the coconut shrimp , AMAZING . Followed by a Caesar salad and then my entrée was a medium rare filet mignon with mashed potatoes and veggies and W O W I must say I was shook by how pleased my taste buds were . To cap off the night was a delicious healthy slice of cheesecake! BOMB. I also ordered a hookah which was perfectly prepared. So if your into hookah , good eats and a strong drink this is the spot for YOU . I will for sure be returning. Xoxo

Yelp
Wanted to try this place and made an 845p reservation. We discovered that the place has a dress code and cover charge after 9pm. And, we were running early from our day adventures so came by around 7pm. We think the place would be better later. Dancing and music. We decided to stay for a bit and see who shows up. There are hookahs around and they have an impressive Bottle Service menu. We sat at the bar, which we prefer. The place has a happy hour that lasts 'till 8pm. Latest we have ever seen locally. They have a nice fancy cocktail menu which my wife sampled. I got a gin martini. Arlen our bartender made a great drink. Although I was a bit disappointed that when I asked for a Vesper he did not know it. Hey. This is a martini bar. No worries the gin drink he made me was great and I had a few. My filet mignon was superb after going with the reco of Arlen. A unique sauce, shallot based, was quite good. My wife got shrimp gnocchi she loved it. Arlen, who we found out was from Kosovo, was a great bartender. He anticipated what we needed and switched my wife to another drink when he sensed that she was not enjoying one. On the bad side, when we were first offered menus they were unpleasantly sticky and moist. Quite off putting. My wife used the lav she reported it was not very nice. Run down but clean. A difficult place to grade. Many ups and downs. We will try again at some point. Mark & Nancy.

Yelp
We didn't try the food. We showed up around 11pm on a Wednesday night for a few drinks. We heard the music outside and decided "Why not". The drinks were drinks... The place was really cute and they had the blue light on so that was really cool... Better then the pitch black some dance places have in their establishment. The music was really good. There were many people dancing. Looks like a cool Wednesday night college hang out.
google avatar

Yelp
We came for a friends birthday party and we're not impressed. The "sections" are small and allow no exclusivity to the rest of the crowd. The drinks were mediocre And the hookah was a mess. The hookah burns out too fast. When he changed the coal, it fell off. They gave us a brand new hookah however it did not have the flavor we ordered - or any flavor at all
google avatar

Jazzy 9.

Yelp
Okay so the drinks are amazing I'm actually making this review drunk at Bleu Martini the food is amazing, you can't really see cause the Bleu Martini has dark blue lights you can see the food in person just doesn't come Off well on photos with out the flash(I'm at the bar didn't A to bring attention to myself and my date lol) in the pictures are chicken dumplings (steamed) & chicken fingers (the bury pictures) the pic with the flash is crab cakes. Besim is the most awesome bartender ever. If you haven't been here, you need to come!

Alisha I.

Yelp
Went in tonight around 10 pm... had to wait for them to serve me because both of the bartenders were helping each other bartender cut their nails...... at a loss for words..
google avatar

Ritesh M.

Yelp
A great spot for friends to unwind after dinner or sober down after several rounds of drinks! Good drinks, great hookah and a fun vibe. The place is always buzzing after 11 pm so it can get a little difficult to find a table or some dancing space. If you are on or around chestnut street and you're looking for drinks, hookah or dancing, this is a pretty good option. They have a 10$ cover charge per person on weekends, which you can pay with card or cash.

Yelp
I've been here multiple times and it's always a Bad experience. The drinks are overpriced and watered down, service is slow, some of the bartenders don't even pay attention, and The crowd is generally "broke and boujee" (people who have no money but always have an attitude.) Last night, I attempted to give this place another chance but the security staff was so rude, I just left. My friends and I got in line and the bouncer at the door literally started yelling at us, demanding to see ID. Everyone in our group was at least 30 years old. We had Our IDs ready but I refuse to be talked to like a prisoner, so we immediately got out of line and took our business up the street. We spend a good amount of money when we go out and I'm not interested in giving my dollars to a an establishment that allows its employs to berate customers. There are way better places in this area. Save your money and go somewhere else.

Larissa R.

Yelp
Very expensive . They charged $20 at the door. Forced us to buy a bottle for $200 when none of us wanted to drink then added 18% gratuity on top of the tip we did leave. The bottle was a $25 bottle .. we paid $200. They said bottles are optional before 10. We were there at 9:30 and they said we HAVE to buy a bottle. This didnt even include the food which is pricey too. The price didn't even match the service. I don't mind paying this amount for something of better quality. The service was terrible. My friend was waiting for her food for an hour. Then at the end we got charged double the amount we owed and they tried to say it was the normal price. The appetizers were pathetic. We didn't leave until we got the money back. I wouldn't recommend going here at all. You could spend your money at a better place like mei mei, leda and the swan, and attico.

Yelp
I can count on one hand the number of times I've been to a club. This was my first time in Philadelphia. The club is not my scene as I do not like loud music, strangers trying to get up in my personal space bubble, high prices, and dirty spaces/air. Those are all the things I think of when I think of a club and it gives me a lot of anxiety just thinking about it. However, in spite of all this, I managed to have a fun evening at Bleu Martini. I think this is a combination of the people I went with, the friendly people who were there on this particular night, and the fact that I liked most of the music they played. A ten dollar cash cover was charged to enter on a Saturday night. Ladies get their purse searched while men get the pat down. We got a table in the back area so we'd have the option to sit and some people in my group wanted to smoke hookah. The "table" was the size of a small coffee table and there were seven of us, so we were pretty crammed and there was only room for 3 of us to sit. You had to order on average two drinks a person to sit there apparently. Our server was friendly, but it took forever to get my drink. She did come back and check on us pretty regularly. I think it must have been backed up at the bar. The drink menu was a dated list of martini's that reminded me of bars from the early 2000's. I got a watermelon martini. It was surprisingly good and not overly sweet. I was comfortable because of how friendly people were. When people at the table across from us were leaving, they shared some of their bottles with our group and their hookah. The group next to us apparently included a famous ball player. His friends danced with my friends and some people in my group chatted with them. I was a small space, but people were being respectful. Music was rap and hip hop with a mixture of old and new songs. We stayed until 2:00 AM when they turn on the lights and tell you to get out. I couldn't hear by the time I left and my legs were sore from dancing, and I was bothered by the 2nd hand hookah smoke, but all things considered, I really enjoyed myself. The bill was very high though, but others in my party were ordering hookah and several drinks, shots, so that stuff adds up quickly. I just think it's crazy that they charge a cover since you'll spend so much when you're inside. If I was looking for a club/dance experience again in Philly, I would consider going here.

Yelp
I've always enjoyed the nightlife here, the music and drinks have never disappointed. However this was my very first time actually eating and I must say that I was very pleasantly surprised. I wanted to go safe and try simple "bar" foods so I ordered the coconut breaded shrimp & Spanish fries. Baybeeee, those were some of the best shrimps that I'd ever had. We ended up getting a second order. It's good to know that Bleu Martini is still a great spot for a late night hang out. Now that I know they have good food I have something else to look forward too.

Hannah A.

Yelp
dumpy, boring and the security guards love their jobs a little too much for less than $20 an hour... which would be great if they were actually doing them not flirting with girls then shoving them out of the way when they don't respond or need help. told the other guard about it and they laughed. get better, less creepy security staff.
google avatar

Dave L.

Yelp
Bleu Martini is a freaking sardine can! Always cramped (especially on busy nights), there's rarely "just enough" room to stand and mingle: it's always push-shove-spill here. This place is popular, even though it may not be the biggest venue around. Food is so-so at Bleu Martini (and pricey, like everything else in Olde City). We got there early so we could secure tables, but once we got up, it was standing room only. Of course, they don't have enough seats to begin with, but it is a martini bar first, and a restaurant second. Difficult to recommend, unless you're already sloshed.

Yelp
Stumbled upon this establishment and was persuaded to check it out due to the happy hour ending at 8 PM. I ordered the small Caesar wrap and a bud light. The wrap and fries were phenomenal, but my low rating comes from the overpriced drinks and small-ass tables. I was with five other people, and we couldn't even fit all of our plates on the table at the same time. Our server was also pretty great at first, but as the night went on, she kept checking in on us less and less. Was pretty frustrating to watch her flirt with men at the bar instead of grabbing my party another round of drinks. Additionally, the actual lighting turned off around 8:30 PM, so you needed to use your phone light to even see the menu. Overall, average experience at best. Will not be coming back anytime soon.

Yelp
This was my first time coming to Philadelphia, and I was referred to come to Blue Martini. Me & 5 my girlfriends decide to go. Kindly, be prompted, that this club was little and can get very crowded around 12 midnight. We was having a pleasant time until the point that the security guards being exceptionally inconsiderate and impolite. They had the nerve to let me know and my friends that we have to move, anyway there was no were us to move because of the group. They got into our face countenances and undermined to me and my friends. Yelling&Screaming in our face! At that point, Blast!! We are getting tossed out the entryway, by two major security folks. I was in dismay! Extremely amateurish and couldn't address the circumstance. They treated us so off-base. I recommend for out of state individuals to not go to this club.

Yelp
We had a great time until we had to leave and wait for our Uber. It was freezing cold about 10 degrees and the bouncers didn't care, made us freeze to deathhhh, wouldn't even let us wait in the hallway. They were trash talking us the whole time. Made us feel uncomfortable. It was our first time in Philly and it made us never want to come back. If you go make sure your ride is OUTSIDE cause they'll never let you back in and show no mercy. My feet are still defrosting.

Yelp
I am having a great time. It is suggested that you get here early. I'm here on a Saturday before 9pm sitting at the bar. I ordered food and drinks and was not disappointed in either. Nice and tipsy on my second drink. Nice bartender, great hip hop & reggae music and fun people.

Yelp
We were looking for an in between place something w music but nothing that required getting all dolled up. Our Philly friend suggested this place $10 dollars to get in not bad. Once inside, we had to coat check $3 bucks pretty good after that we headed to the bar the one on the right was too crowded we couldn't even get the bartenders attention so we moved to the one across. Drinks I had Grey goose & cranberry this was ok lacked alcohol it wasn't that strong & it had way too much ice. Friends had Jameson & ginger ale ok the Long Island iced tea was the better drink out of all since it taste like it actually had alcohol. As for the place itself no bad decent size although it was too crowded there's barely any room to move around let alone dance so it was uncomfortable to dance but manage to make the best of it. Music wise not terrible but could have been better music was not consistent. Philly night life is limited as far as time goes Specially when compared to NYC this place closes at 2am not terrible if u are out early but ok overall, it was a group of friends so we had a good time.

Yelp
I've had to come here a few times for multiple events, and every time I leave so disappointed. Their happy hour food is a joke. I understand happy hour food usually comes in smaller portions, but seriously...$8 for 3 pieces of regular sized shrimp? At least the two chicken tenders for $5 came with a handful of fries, I guess. Then there are the bartenders who sit on the counter, staring at their phones so you have to almost scream at them because they didn't hear your first five "excuse me"'s (also, bartenders who give you attitude because you raised your voice at them to get their attention). It's not even a one-time thing - every time it's been difficult for me to get a bartender's attention. If you're looking for happy hour or dinner, choose one of the many other options on Market street, but skip Bleu Martini.

Yelp
Stopped in here for dinner and drinks with family from out of town and while the atmosphere was great the food and drinks were mediocre. Service was ok , but considering all the other restaurants/bars around next time we'll probably just go elsewhere.

Yelp
They serve three slices of Ellios pizza laying on top of each other as their "margarita" pizza and put moscato in their mimosa..it also comes out black...I could say more about the rest of our order...
google avatar

Yelp
Great music. The chicken fingers were really good. The hookah is actually pretty decent, but it costs a while $20 to change the head. It wasn't packed, the vibe was relaxed. I dig it. I'll go back.

Yelp
On July 29th, 2017, a friend and I each ordered a Coke & Rum from a bartender from the secondary bar of Bleu Martini. The bartender, a Black man in a seemingly yellow shirt, kept touching my hand during the order, but I brushed it off because he did not verbally mention interest. We were each charged  a total of $9.60 on our individual cards for our purchases. When I asked to close my tab, I was asked if I no longer wanted to see the bartender's face. I did not have a response ready because I did not want to offend.  Regardless, he took offense. When my friend and I came back to each order a Blue Moon beer, the bartender would not listen to me when I tried to order. Instead, I had to put in the order through my friend. When it was time to pay, he now stated that there was a $20 minimum. We were surprised because this was not mentioned on our previous purchases, but we decided to put it all on one card. When the check came back, it included  $16 for the beers as well as almost $4 for "Automatic Gratuity". Due to the prior situation, I asked another bartender if it was customary to add a tip without allowing the customer to decide and was told "We don't work for free." In this situation, the bartender did not originally make it known that there is a $20 limit. Due to precedence, he should not have sprung those charges on us. Or he should have originally charged us the correct amount so that there was clarity. So what I am saying is, please tell your bartenders to be consistent so there is no confusion. The situation that this bartender created was one based on an unrequited interest. Charge the necessary amount from the beginning.

Yelp
I went here to grab drinks after going to the bar next door. I have been curious about this place so I thought it was a good opportunity. The drinks were terrible (both nasty and weak). Also the waitress lost my date's credit card. Their policy is to collect cards before your order food so he gave her his card at the beginning of the night. However when it was time to pay, I asked her to charge my card instead. She did and then never gave back his card. Usually I'm understanding because stuff happens but we waited for a half hour while she nonchalantly served other tables and showed no urgency about finding the card since we already paid and gratuity is automatically included in the bill. Finally she came back and told him she recommends that he "calls the bank". I became frustrated because we already paid and they lost his card and no one seemed to care. Every time I tried to wave down a server to talk to the manager, they actively avoided me and even ignored me all together. I never got to speak to the manager and 30 mins later they found the card and we were so upset that we just left. I would not recommend going here. The atmosphere and music is nice but the service and drinks are bad. Definitely not worth the money or frustration. They are also very unsanitary. The waitstaff helps the bartender makes drinks and they use their bare, unsanitized and dirty hands to touch all of the cherries and all over the tops of the straws and fruit that go into the drinks. I watched a waitress serve multiple people and touch money and card etc then reach her hand inside the fruit container and contaminate all the fruit and stuff that people consume.

Yelp
I wish this place was packed on a Friday night, I wish my martini wasn't $12, and I wish I had a genie. This is a nice looking place, music is great (r&b, hip hop, mostly), bartenders are friendly. I just really wish I could get up and dance without looking like a creep or an overly drunk college girl. So instead, I sat and had the flirtini that had champagne, vodka and a cherry and was quite spectacular. I didn't have any food, but probably should've, since the flirtini will knock the gravity out of you. All in all, I will be giving this place another shot, maybe on a Saturday, and maybe with a flask.

Yelp
I want to talk about the management staff and how this particular manager can use a refresher course in customer service and how to conduct herself in a professional manner! My sister and I went to Bleu Martini on 2/1 for food and drinks -- we got there around 9:30. We were asked if we had reservations and we did not. We were seated at the third booth across from the entrance. We ordered our drinks and food -- the drinks came in about ten minutes and the food... I would say it took about 40 minutes! We ordered chicken fingers... Needless to say, they weren't piping hot and the Buffalo sauce wasn't dripping... it had dried as almost they were sitting around for a little bit! Fast forward with two orders of chicken fingers and few drinks are tab was just a few dollars shy of $100 - we loved our server and gave her $40 tip! Then things got interesting... we had a couple of ladies join us at our table -- we gave our server our ID and credit card to start another tab -- we ordered four more martinis @ $10/each and no sooner do we order, our server came back to tell us that the manager that originally seated us wanted us to move because someone came to her with a bottle order! We look to our right and there was a couple just sitting there boo lovin with nothing! Our server apologized left and right and then here comes the manager -- needless to say, we canceled our drink order! The manager wanted to relocate us to another table after she found out we had placed a new order, but by then we were done! If she would've told us initially that the table we were sitting at was booked than we could've been prepared to leave or we could've opted to sit somewhere else from jump! But, it's all good -- it was a learning experience and there are a lot more lounges in Olde City that are worth our time and money!

Yelp
The "What the heck was I thinking?!" moment. Yelp was created for a reason - to aid us in our decision making process when trying new places. Did I take advantage of this powerful decision making tool before stepping foot in Bleu Martini on a Friday night? NOPE. Silly me. If I had taken the time to read the reviews of my fellow Yelpers, I would have known that this place is an itty bitty, ghettolicious, hot mess. I'm giving them two stars because while the place was sub-par, my cousins and I were able to enjoy decent drinks (albeit expensive for the atmosphere they attract). Lesson Learned! If you do nothing else, I implore you, READ THE BLASTED REVIEWS.

Yelp
This review is only for the bar, not the restaurant. We popped in here for a quick drink after dinner on a Saturday night. It was around 9:30 so there was no cover charge. Bleu Martini has two bars, one near the entrance of the restaurant and one towards the back. The front bar was very crowded so we opted for the quieter back bar. The bartender was quick to serve us and listed the specials for the night. We ordered a Watermelon Martini ($5 special) and a Mangotini (regular price of $10). The glasses were smaller than I expected, and after reading the other yelp reviews, I guess this is consistent across the board. We did enjoy our drinks, which were neither too strong nor too sweet. Warning: the music is pretty loud. It wasn't a relatively quiet and classy bar like I had hoped, but I also didn't really know what to expect. I think it was more of a club and less of a quiet bar and restaurant.

Yelp
We all came here for happy hour after lunch. We all ordered drinks at the bar. I ordered a margarita martini. Honestly, it wasn't that great of a taste at all. The customer service from the bartender was not very friendly. Which there was no excuse because the 6 of us in my group and 2 other people were the only ones in the restaurant. I've had better. But despite all of that the decor is really nice inside of here.

Yelp
GHETTO!! When you walk into a bar and the bartender opts to continue to chat up a waitress instead of greeting you, then it's time to turn around and walk out. When he finally came over he gave a head nod as if to say "what do you want". He then told us he did not know how to make a Tom Collins. We had one drink and left as quickly as possible. Never again. Apathetic staff.

Yelp
Came here for a meet up with a group of about 12 people. The service was fine (our drinks and food came out without a problem, the food I tried (chicken fingers) were fine...nothing special. The drink I ordered, an old fashioned, was terrible; it was watered down and I don't think they used the bourbon I asked for. The mens room was clean looking but reeked of stale urine. It was also odd that the bathroom door has clear glass on it, not that I care but someone else might. Not really my kind of place.
