Yelp
This is an excellent wine school and tasting room. It provides a modern decor with an eclectic range of sound spicing. You will experience classic jazz to pop sounds while enjoying your wine experience. You will have primarily Euro-food selections from mostly Italy, France, and Mediterranean regions. The menu is well planned with the wine features to match the wine's tannins, acidity, and ABV. You will receive the highest academic and food pairing training here. They have a high integrity and sophistication. You'll be taught by a Ph.D. and a Master of Wines. They offer all levels of WSET. Their approach to teaching is encouraging and supportive for both the novice and experienced wine enthusiast. I do recommend in person WSET training here. Their selection of wines are predominantly vinifera grape species with an emphasis on Old World wine styles. However, they do offer a comparison with New World grapes with a focus on California, Oregon, and Washington wines and vineyards. Lastly, the special lectures on local Texas wineries and wine critics are also helpful and impressive; integrating an unique group of professionals; giving a complete perspective on the diversity of wines across the US. I have recommended this business to many. Donald S. Chandler, Jr., Ph.D. Chandler Plaza, LLc Certified Texas Wine Specialist

Yelp
Charming little wine bar newly open right outside of the main Bishop Arts scene. They offer a delightful little tapas menu and a few wine flights, including a blind flight that is perfect for budding sommeliers who want to test their palates. We tried a few bites - the patatas bravas, which are thinly fried potato chunks lightly dusted with paprika and topped with garlic aioli. It sounds simple, but was ridiculously addictive, and we found ourselves ordering another serving that night! We also tried the steak, which was perfectly cooked to our desired temperature (medium rare), but was otherwise pretty simply prepared, served atop steak sauce. And we also tried the burrata which came as two small pieces of toasted bread, juicy burrata and charred broccoli (also a simple but satisfying dish). All of the dishes are pretty small, so you would probably need to order at least a handful for a couple to feel pretty satiated, but that makes it fun to try more wine at the same time ;) We were curious about the pork belly, which the owner proclaimed to another guest that night to be "her favorite item on the menu." We can't wait to try that on our return visit (with another order or two of the patatas bravas, and maybe the tostadas too!). Definite recommend for a cute date night off the beaten path!

Yelp
This was quite the find - a true gem! I was looking for someplace different to take my girl out for dinner. We both love wine and sharing small plates / tapas, and this place had both. There wasn't much about it online - website was minimal and there was only 1 review here. This is a wine bar first, and a restaurant second. It's a small place - about 20 small tables and most are together to create some 4 tops. It has a minimalist design inside as well - very clean and modern. It's not showy or stuffy. This feels more like a professional wine tasting work environment than a comfy restaurant, but we loved it and truly when you go you will see some serious wine aficionados / snobs tasting and taking notes and studying. The staff are amazing - super friendly and helpful if you want it but will leave you alone if you need that instead. We are not wine snobs but sure like to drink it. I was curious about the dinner they offer only on weekends. First, all wines are offered in a 3 or 5 ounce pour. This includes tastings or a glass of wine. 3 or 5 ounces are your only option. This was different and we thought we wouldn't be getting much but we were very wrong! We each did a tasting- 3 wines, 5 ounce pours. They had to substitute one they were out of and gave me a new extra one to try. My girl also got an extra white to try. They are so friendly and helpful they really want you to enjoy it here. The food was excellent. Not overly spicy or heavy - excellent with wine for sure. The burrata is 2 pieces of toast each with a dollop of cheese with some oil and herbs. The patatas braves are baked/fried potato bites with oils too. Both excellent and perfect to share. Charcuterie plate was excellent to - a fine mix of cheeses and meats. We did get the pork belly and yes, it is amazing and you need to get it. I dodnt want to at first but decided to risk it and it was the best I'd ever had! Crispy and sweet and smooth. Mind you it was only 3 pieces but perfect for a light meal and perfect with wines. This place is very expensive. And there were not many people here on a Saturday night. But I have to say we had an amazing time tasting all our wines and comparing notes and enjoying the food. There is soft music playing in the background. It made for a nice change of pace - a place to go out to eat where you could actually hear each other speak! Including tip it came to around $200.

Yelp
Overpriced food/wine and this place tries far too hard to be something that it isn't. Plenty of real wine intense restaurants, avoid this fake one.

Yelp
An amazing hidden gem in bishop arts. Blind bishop has fantastic wine as Dilek Caner, master of wine, takes you on a delicious journey that perfectly match your palate . The food is also delicious, highly recommend the burrata and the pork belly. To finish it off, the fall tiramisu is some of the best I've ever had. This place is definitely worth it.
