Block 15 Brewing Downtown Pub

Me and my partner went there for a date night and it was pretty amazing! We got the chicken pesto sandwich and the fish sandwich as our mains (can’t remember the names of the top of my head but scan the menu or ask for sure if interested) and the chocolate chip cookie sundae as our dessert and they were so so good! Our waitress was very kind and had quick service for 9pm and the food was out really quick. The food tasted amazing for the type of restaurant it was and the time of day we went especially the chicken sandwich. I would 100% recommend stopping here if you’re in Corvallis and need a quick bite!

Very pleased. Service was fast and smooth. The portions were reasonable and the beer battered fries were hot. The Forager Burger was a combo of mushrooms and swiss cheese. It distinguished itself through the addition of pickles and onions, which really gave it an added flavor dimension. Also, on the meatloaf sandwich there was some lovely sauce that really took the sandwich to a new level! Noise was not a problem at all as the music was playing softly and people could easily hear each other. Will definitely go again!

Been here twice and I enjoyed it both times. I enjoy the forager burger and their sandwiches are elite (so crunchy)! The buns of the burgers could’ve been a bit more toasted but overall enjoyable. And the fry sauce is good! I’d pass on the root beer and blueberry lavender lemonade and stick to water or a refillable soda. Good place for brewed drinks for 21+ 8/10

Had a nice lunch with a friend of mine. Food was good and our server was outstanding. I was looking for something lower on carbs and he made several great recommendations. I would stop in here for a low-carb meal again for sure.

A great little eatery right here in Downtown Corvallis. We had a festival dog and a caprese burger, both of which were cooked well and the flavors were nice. The fries were great! We also had exceptional service. Very grateful that the menu had a more eclectic taste instead of just standard burgers and fries that many breweries have. Excited to come back soon!

I visited on 2nd October 2024. Friendly waitstaff, quick service, reasonable price. First time I'd ever had schnitzel *OR* German-style potato salad, and it absolutely rocked my world. Glad I ordered when I did, because the waiter informed me they were running out quickly. Overall, I think the meal cost $22 or just shy of that. Very reasonable for the portion and the quality I got. Also, the strawberry lemonade was delicious! I gotta ask, it felt a bit thicker than I expected but I was so busy enjoying it at the time -- was there some kind of coconut milk or something in it? No complaints, it was great; I'm genuinely curious if there was something different y'all did. Either way, 10/10, absolutely will see you guys next time I'm in the area!

Great location in downtown Corvallis for food and drink. Had dinner with my family and my daughter's boyfriend. Highly recommend on a nice warm day to sit outside which we did. The portions of food are definitely large...good for next day left overs.

My favorite brewery of all time! Hands down to "Sticky Hands". Awesome burgers, Fish&chips, fries, and many more!! Their bourbon month in February with seasonal menus (deep fried oysters) can't be missed.

We usually go every month. Our toddler loves chalk drawings on the table and their mac and cheese. I love their bbq Korean wings, burgers, and of course fries! Today I got a mesa salad. It was very busy today where we are sitting but the service was friendly and attentive. We will be back.

After visiting, I couldn't help but hover between giving this place 3-4 stars, but I think the service during my visit really makes it deserving of a 4. My food came out incredibly fast and my waitress was very friendly. I had the chopped pork sandwich and it was essentially exactly as expected. It was good, nothing remarkable, but an enjoyable sandwich. The fries were actually quite good, and I love when fry sauce is an option for dipping. My main issues are just that (1) the beer is mediocre and (2) this location's decor feels like a Buffalo Wild Wings or similarly tacky chain. The decor and ambiance really diminish the overall experience and quality of the food. I'd say the food is definitely better than a basic chain, but it's hard to notice how good the food is when it feels like you are sitting at Red Robin. Additionally, after having a handful of Block15 brews, I haven't found a single one I'd drink again. Out of their current options, I like the Scientifical IPA the most, but it was sold out when I went. I think this location is still a decent place to visit, and the prompt and kind waitstaff should make for an enjoyable visit.

Always a great dining experience at Block 15! At our most recent visit we were seated promptly and were waited on by a very friendly and helpful wait staff who informed us of the daily specials and indicated that we were there during happy hour. The happy hour specials are a great value, and so tasty! This time around we enjoyed a sampling of appetizers - wings, the magic mushrooms, the spinach and artichoke dip, and the hushpuppies. We also tried out the kombucha and non-alcoholic cocktail - all was fantastic! I really love the creative variety on the menu, and look forward to exploring it further. Block 15 is a great option for smaller parties as well as larger ones (I'd say that a comfortable limit is a party of about 7 or 8). There are tables downstairs as well as upstairs, and in my experience they're happy to seat you upstairs or downstairs upon request and if the space is available. Although Block 15 is a brewery, it is a nice location to bring your family - it has a bright, clean, and welcoming atmosphere.

The wings were pretty good. I did appreciate they put the sauce on the side so they wouldn't be soggy and I could control how much sauce to add. I wasn't a huge fan of the Korean BBQ sauce. Mushrooms were tiny but also pretty good they gave me so many so I did eat them the next day as a snack. Couldn't taste the sausage most mushroom and bread crumbs. Flavor were good though so no complaints. Caesar salad was normal. Price was decent for all three $24 total and food was ready within 30 mins. Good for a late night snack and bar food. Next time I will try their fish and chips. I saw a lot of people order that and I kinda wish I had. This place

Having a beer never felt so good. Two fun locations, but the taproom on Deschutes Street is absolutely lovely. It boasts a huge patio and view of Mary's Peak. It's rather romantic in the evening while the sun is slowly ending her shift and starting to descend. It's also a casual dining experience or an inviting environment to catch up with friends. The beer is the very best around town. They know IPAs, and you'll see they offer a lot of them. Flagship ones, as well as a plethora of rotating ones. I can't get enough of the Fluffhead Hazy IPA. It's perfectly balanced and dances on your tastebuds with every sip. Of course, if IPAs aren't your thing, you can explore their Stout, Pilsner, Blonde, or Pale Ales, too. They also have 2 Towns cider, Compton Cellars wine, house-made root beer, and kombucha from Happy Mountain if you're looking for NA options. There is a full bar at their downtown location for those looking for a cocktail. Let's talk about the food. I absolutely love the offerings on their menu. They have something for everyone. There are so many yummy vegetarian options that will kickstart your heart. The French fries are cooked perfectly, and you can even add special seasonings such as sea salt and rosemary or garlic and parmasean. Dipping in ranch is a must. Their BBQ tempeh is divine and seasoned just right with the perfect amount of crunch from the slaw. Their veggie burger is also a favorite. House made and great texture. My partner had the fish and chips and raved the fresh fish and the crisp breading. They offer soups, salads, burgers, and many other options that are all fresh while supporting local farmers and the community. Come be part of the magic.

The food here is very good and reasonably priced. The ambiance is local bistro chic. The service is prompt and attentive.

After going to an Oregon State baseball game, we decided to visit Block 15. I enjoyed the NW burger with American cheese and the bbq wings. The fries were battered and had a great taste. The burger had great flavor and was served on a fresh bun. Cedar was a great waitress and really went out of her way to make sure our needs were met. The restaurant has a laid back college vibe town vibe. Next time I'm in Corvallis I'm hoping to make another stop at Block 15!

I enjoy Block 15 beers so a visit to Corvallis demanded I stop in here. Good choice. - Good beer and they have a lot of variety. - Nice 'sittable' bar, with many other seating options including some upstairs. If you're mobility-challenged, you'll find a seat here if it's not crowded. - Service was fine. Maybe a touch distracted but only a touch. - Fish n chips (OK, beer-battered fish with fries) are very good. Fish is good, fries are good, coleslaw is good. - No loud, obnoxious music. Maybe the only thing I didn't care for - and it's totally a personal preference - is that the ambiance/decor/theme of the bar is too modern. I prefer an old-school pub atmosphere. Kind of like the Squirrel's Tavern down the street or maybe the nearby Biere Library.

Really great burgers and beer. The ambiance is nice, you can sit on the patio. Large beer selection and burgers are delish, also enjoyed the sandwiches.

Every time someone visits Corvallis we take them here. Block 15 has never let us down. The staff are accommodating and helpful. The tables allow for chalk art while you're waiting for your food, yet the meal delivery time is always super fast. Love their burgers, fries, salads, pretzels, and cheesecake!

The fish and chips were fresh and they were beer battered! All though I don't eat French fries and having a salad instead was great but costs more.. never understood that? They also have great salad options for your meal! People were nice all the staff! If I didn't have to pay more for switching fries for salad I would have gave 5 stars!

Headed back to my hometown to meet some friends for lunch. We decided on Bloc 15 downtown. What a total waste of money. Gin martini that I had to send back and the second one wasn't much better. The Caesar salad I ordered had wilted romaine , no garlic flavor at all, no anchovy flavor at all. For five dollars you can add smoked chicken. How wonderful I thought! It literally was an ounce or two of smoked chicken. It wasn't a chicken breast or a thigh. It was literally about 2 tablespoons full. So a bad martini a flavorless Caesar salad with an overly expensive add onto it, and with tip made this totally train wreck of a lunch to around $30. I really don't know how they stay in business.

Good beer but the waiter very clearly showed his annoyance with us just ordering beer and not dinner. It was a Tuesday evening and not busy.

I hit it for lunch one day while working @ OSU. I have always liked their beer when it makes it on tap in Portland. Good spot, had some tasty brews, ate some stuffed mushrooms and bought some swag....

I swear, I am never going back to Block 15. This is my second review of the joint since it opened, and both times were bad -- yet, of the two occasions, my recent visit was worse. To preface my remarks: I don't go to Block 15 for beer. I am sure their suds are fine, but I don't drink beer, it doesn't matter to me. I go there for the food. The last time frequented Block, what I received was a large amount of standard pub-style grub -- completely uninspired and average, but acceptable, I guess, if you're half-drunk and hungry. This time, however, the food was downright narsty. How you can screw up something as simple as fish and chips -- especially at a pub -- is beyond me. But there it was. Gray fish, ahoy. The waiter was nice enough as grinning hipsters go. He had a friendly smile. Forgot the ketchup, no big deal. But that fish Phew! The batter looked crispy enough, and the chunks were the right size, laying on an inevitably monstrous pile of greasy fries. But when I bit into them, there was a certain smell that, coupled with the gray color, spelled age. Not so old that I wouldn't eat them, mind you, but old enough that it made a difference. Twelve bucks and change for the platter, two bucks for tea, three bucks for tip -- that's a almost $20 for lunch, and now I don't feel so great. They say if you can't smell the ocean, don't order the fish. Well, I did order the fish, and now I can safely say: I am done with Block 15. J

I don't think we will be back. The dinner this evening was nothing to brag about. My large salad was more of a medium size and my large fries was more like a kids meal size. The fish and chip meal was pretty good. The service was lacking. We asked for some more ketchup and we never saw our waiter again until he was ready to cash us out. It wasn't even busy. I was a server for over 12 years so I could not in good conscience give him more than a 10% tip. More wasn't earned. Sad since I like the atmosphere, but meals no longer worth the cost.

The food here is delicious! Notable mentions include any of the burgers and the kimchi bowl. Super nice waiters and a great vibe. The wait can be long though, so plan ahead.

Eh. We were hungry and the food sounded good, but in reality it was just ok. I didn't think it was worth the price. The sweet potato fries were probably the best out of all the dishes which included the soup, a large salad and the sweet potato fries.

Amazing food, I had the best sandwich of my life. The meatloaf sandwich was awesome. The staff was friendly and knows how to take care of their customers.

Shorthand for describing Block 15: Good food, good beer, great service, reasonable prices. We came by after seeing a concert over at the University. When we arrived they were busy and said it would take 20 minutes to get a table. No problem, we thought, we'll go to the bar and grab a beer while we wait. We'd barely sat down at the bar, and our table was ready. Our waitress, Katie, was excellent. I got the chicken sandwich and fries, my friend got the green chili burger (with a gluten free bun!). The sandwich and burger were quite tasty (we ate every last crumb), and the beer-battered fries were excellent. Be sure to ask for their fry sauce; it looks like your regular fry sauce, but it's got some very pleasant kick to it. Beers: my friend got the POW IPA, and I got the People Doing Things (the former a little on the hazy side, the latter more traditional West Coast IPA). I wanted to get the Block 15 IPA (the "Alpha"), but they ran out earlier in the day. Bummer. Note: some of the tables in the back room are "chalkboard" tables, where you can scribble, draw and write. We played hangman for a couple of hours, which was fun (and even more fun after a couple of beers!). Great place.

The food was below sub-par. I had a dry, skimpy hamburger. My husband had a pasta dish with stringy chicken. With that said, we will never be back.

Service was GREAT. Always come here for burgers and they have the BEST garlic parm fries I have EVER had!!! Definitely recommend a stop here.

Still love coming here. The weather was perfect to sit outside and the magic mushrooms were delicious. We always enjoy the spinach and Parmesan dip, but now it is just served with bread instead of the blue tortilla chips. Oh well. We will still return!

So we ordered food here, which we came to find out was during Bourbon month here at Block 15 so there were several bourbon/whisky cocktails to pair with your meal. We ordered the stuffed mushrooms which came out piping hot, gooey with the cheese on top and were well stuffed. As you see, there were a couple of cocktails that were had, like the Schooler and Pancake, which had a very maple syrup type flavor to it that was decadent and sweet. The other side of the coin was the February Stars, which was infused with Thai chilis! Ever have a cold drink with a hot spice to it? I never had until this and I loved it. It is hot so if this isn't your cup of tea, pass on it in the future. We then had a patty melt which was just simply comforting and delicious. After all of that, we finished it off with the Coco Bell chocolate cake. What goes better with chocolate cake than a nice dark porter! Nothing. The service can be sometimes fantastic here and sometimes spotty depending on where you are seated in the restaurant. We have seen this a couple of times now. I am sure some of it can be whom is serving as well. The ambiance is well a busy pour and brew pub so this isn't going to be your romantic getaway spot that's for sure. The summer time affords more seating outside increasing the size of the restaurant pretty dramatically. Definitely a good place to go to when the feeling hits!

This is our go to lunch spot when visiting Corvallis. Located on the corner of Jefferson, right in the mix in Corvallis, this spot delivers the beer and the grub! Block 15 Brewing has wonderful food, wonderful staff, and is such a great place for a meal for any group from friends to family.

This place was so good! Great spot to pregame that's for sure! Nachos were great, this burger was amazing and cooked perfectly. And the beer!!! Sticky hands was my favorite! Best part, you can draw on the tables!! Super fun for all ages.

Stopped by here for dinner on the way to the coast. Great fish and chips and beer. Had fun drawing on the table with the provided chalk.

The food was and has been really good. A good selection of beers to go with some tasty upgraded bar food. We were able to have our dogs outside and stayed warm by the fire pit. Inside was cozy with plenty of ambiance. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

4.5 for me...but I rounded up. Beer and nachos...two classics made even better here. Taphouse service was a expected; friendly, helpful, and very attentive. We took a Sunday drive on Saturday to Corvallis with the goal of getting some yummy brews from Block 15 to go, and they did not disappoint. We decided to sit and try some food and beer. I really liked that they will serve a 5 oz portion; I did not want to get drunk on a beautiful Saturday afternoon. The nachos are NOT your classic cheese dripping mess...they make their own black bean puree, their own queso and we added smoked chicken...absolutely delicious. We are picky on our nachos and these nailed it! We will be back and look forward to trying more of the menu and I brought home 8 of their beers!

Not too exciting food. Meh. Prices are too high for what you get. But again that's the common theme at most places. Time to stop eating out until prices drop for the quality of food

Nice spot to grab a burger/sandwich and a beer (or in my case a root beer float made with house made root beer)! Got the pulled pork sandwich and was given the option of sweet or spicy sauce. Went with the spicy sauce and it was mustard base with some mild heat to it. The pork had a good BBQ flavor and the slaw on the sandwich was really good.

We usually have a great time at block 15. They have a wide variety of well made and tasty food that usually doesn't disappoint. The service is always great and we look forward to the rotating monthly specials.

Solid selection of brews- "Group Ride" is a personal favorite. Menus is broad but not overwhelming...you really can't go wrong with anything!

Battered fries are excellent. Nice place to go when I'm feelin like respecting myself with some good food. Not a big drinker but I hear the beer is good too.

Great atmosphere, excellent drinks & good bar food. I highly recommend them, especially for the best view in town from their rooftop area!

Just ok. We were hoping for more after seeing the 4.5 star review. Maybe they're having an off day? Came in on a Sunday around 12:30 and got seated right away. We were seated away from everyone else; a table right next to the door and host station. I find it nice to be seated around others to enjoy the chatter and scenery so this was a disappointment. We ordered an Arnold Palmer (iced tea/lemonade) and house made root beer. The Arnold Palmer tea was good, not too sweet. The root beer was ok; I'm not used to non commercial soda so I'm not sure if it was great or not. Compared to other house made root beer I've had it was good. Def not an A & W though. For lunch we got the Pub Nachos and fried Chicken burger. Liz enjoyed the fried chicken sando, even with its spicy Mayo and cabbage. The chicken was tender and juicy and the sandwich had a lot of pickles. The beer battered fries were pretty good too. As for the nachos, I wanted to like the shredded cabbage piled on top but it just didn't add to the dish. The beans, cheese, jalapeños, and salsa were mostly piled on top which left me at least 1/2 a platter of chips with no toppings. Frankly, there wasn't much cheddar cheese for the giant plate of chips. The service was good, she came by and checked on us a few times and closed out our check quickly. I'll give them another try when I'm town and see if something else in the menu suits me. And maybe they'll seat me in the main dining area.

Its our go-to in Corvallis. Great Beer and Great Food every time. The service is good to great consistently. It can get busy sometimes, but definitely worth the wait. I have a few favorites, and there is something on the menu for everyone.

Love this place! Went for my mom's birthday and overall satisfied with food and service. Good ambience, plenty of space to dine in or sit outside.

Decent food and service. Beer & cocktails are good. Ambiance is crammed with small spaces to walk around. Would be back for the cocktails! Hope Block 15 expands to something a bit bigger for them!

Stopped her before a college visit because we saw outdoor seating. The waitress was really helpful and friendly. The food was all very good as well. We started off with the chowder which was definitely better than the average chowder. I then got their special which was really good. Then the Quattro leaches cake for dessert which was very good with an orange flavor.

Very very good food and drinks !! I got the margarita. The other drinks were not my favorite. They have a good happy hour special I believe. Food was delicious and ambiance made the vibes so cozy and relaxing. I sat at the bar and the bartenders were wonderful. Great staff and great place !

We had lunch there today, amazing food with even more amazing service! Zach W was our server and he made the experience great, he was friendly, knowledgeable and came back a few times to ask if we needed anything else! Great experience for sure and would highly recommend Block 15 for anyone who is looking for a great place to eat! By the way, if you like the IPA you can buy some and take them home!

Taproom- Deschutes St. Great location/excellent food/delicious beer... We were looking for a dog friendly restaurant on the way to Newport & I always enjoy trying new breweries. I was extremely impressed. First, we both chose salads, which in itself is not typical for brewery food. My wife had the Sesame Ginger Salad (excellent) & I had the Buffalo Chicken Salad. What I loved the most was it was fresh, clean & well balanced. It was pieces of fresh chicken grilled in a great tasting sauce. One of the best salads I have eaten in ages.The beer was excellent, and I live in San Diego around some of the best breweries, so I am pretty finicky about IPAs. Finally, what topped it off was the location. Overlooking open fields at the back of an industrial complex- just where a taproom belongs.
