I recently had the pleasure of visiting BloodRoot Wines for the first time, and I must say, it was an unforgettable experience. From the moment we stepped in, the ambience was enchanting, creating the perfect atmosphere for an evening of relaxation and enjoyment. The DJ skillfully set the mood, adding an extra layer of magic to the already delightful surroundings. Despite our late arrival, with only 30 minutes till closing, the staff went above and beyond to ensure we were well taken care of. Their hospitality and warmth were truly commendable, especially considering our tight schedule due to a theater show we were attending across the street. Their attention to detail and commitment to customer satisfaction left a lasting impression on us. I highly recommend both locals and visitors alike. We loved the Chenin as well as the Chardonnay Bravo! It's a gem of a place where you can unwind, savor exquisite wines. I can't wait to return and share this hidden treasure with my out-of-town friends. Cheers to an exceptional establishment that knows how to make every moment special!

we have had their wine through Winestyr and decided to seek out their tasting room when we were visiting. Did not disappoint. Zach made our experience even better with his passion for the wines. We valued his insights and energy !

This place is a real gem! The wine is tasty AF and they have a DJ! The tasting flights are such a deal! The ladies running this spot make you feel at home! Bloodroot will certainly go in the rotation!

I cannot say enough amazing things about BloodRoot Wines. First, and foremost, the wines are exceptionally tasty. Secondly, the team here is incredible. I had inquired about a larger group visit for a tasting and from the first communication with Jess, everything was wonderful. We felt like true VIPs, learned about the wines, had a gorgeous table prepared for us, laughed with the team, and felt really special. We've since been in touch about wine clubs and ordering/shipping and the experience is the same - warm and caring and informational. I cannot WAIT to come back to BloodRoot.

What a great find. Stumbled across this place while on a friend trip and we all enjoyed it so much that we joined their wine club. Great staff and easy to drink wines. We enjoyed all their wines but the Rose was a group favorite!

A big group of us walked in on a Sunday and had a great time. I am not a wine person but left with an idea of what wine I like, and would order while out to eat.

We were visiting from out of state and Jess provided a phenomenal experience. She spent time answering questions, providing general knowledge, and giving us a great tasting experience! Thanks Jess for a fun evening!

After we visited Marine Layer, we asked what tasting room they would recommend, and they recommended Blood Root. This is a newer tasting room that has a kind of funky, semi-industrial, gothic vibe inside. They did seem to allow online reservations, but only for a day in advance. We walked in on a Saturday, and there was plenty of space. I enjoyed a lot of the wines we tried, and it was fun to learn about their winery. I bought a bottle of Remy Saves The Sea, which was a really interesting mix of white varietals. Also, I appreciated that they have a snacks menu, and we got the seasonal cheese and also the popcorn. Both were really good, and having some food was helpful to balance a day of wine tasting. Their prices are very reasonable. I also felt like it is a fun place to hang out, with a nice outdoor patio as well as indoor space.

Fun place to visit for varietals you can't typically find to taste. They have snacks to purchase as well as glasses/bottles/tastings. Staff was really friendly and made recommendations as requested for wines and wineries.

Cozy tasting room with great wine. Huge variety of reasonably priced bottles - even some varietals we had never heard of before. Bubbles, Red and Whites! Loved it - we already can't wait to go back. Service was incredibly warm and friendly - our educator clearly loved the wines herself.

Great little tasting room. The hosts were friendly and the pinot noir we tried was very good and incredibly reasonable. We bought two bottles and drank them on our hotel balcony to bookend our dinner that evening.

We enjoyed the glasses of wine we had toward the end of the day. A nice Albariño, some excellent reserve Pinot noir, and a little bubbly for my husband on his birthday. Sara was our amazing server who knew her wine and was just so friendly and welcoming. She was extraordinarily attentive and such a great part of the evening. We had a lovely time enjoying ourselves before dinner out and highly recommend you go and check it out. Everyone else there also seemed to be having an amazing time too.

From the team at Reeve, this hip newer tasting room in the heart of downtown Healdsburg offers a $25 tasting. It's pretty reasonable for the 5 pours you get (and the delicious spiced nuts from SingleThread!)! I believe that they take walk-ins but do recommend a reservation - they were busy last weekend when we were there. We sat outside on their parklet/deck, with string lights overhead, and appreciated the heat lamps as the sun went down. The deck is in a parking lot but they've managed to make it feel cozy and comfortable. I really enjoyed their Rosé of Pinot Noir ($28/bottle) - need to stock up on some of that. I found the Pinots to be pretty light and easy-to-drink. They also make a Chardonnay. This review is for more than just the wine. The wine is good...it's easy. But Bloodroot has a vibe and an energy. They offer fun pop-up events (music, food...) and it's a hot spot for local group gatherings. Service was friendly and knowledgeable. I look forward to return visits.

What a fun and great discovery. Off the north east corner of the Healdsburg square, almost hiding in the back of a parking is Blood Root. Again without a reservation, we were able to snag an open table on the patio in the parking lot. Zach was fabulous. Neither Jeremy or I had ever heard of this winery. So Zach filled us in on the owner and his philosophy. The $25 flight included these 6 tastings- 2016 Blanc de Gris $42, crisp, not tart for the summer 2018 Reserve Chardonnay $42 not your usual oaky Chardonnay, enjoyed it 2019 Reserve Pinot Noir $48 2019 Carignan $36 a new one to me 2018 Undertow Red Blend $38 great blend for this winter 2018 Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon $65 Along with the flight, a bowl of locally made spiced nuts were served. Mmmm. Highly recommend a reservation on the patio. Ask for Zack and have him tell you all about these fabulous tastings wines.

Came here on my trip to Napa with my family. They are kid friendly, super clean, very nice, and soo welcoming. Also the wines are fantastic! They offer some bites as well. I actually ended up purchasing a candle and it's my fav thing in my house currently! I would totally come back and try more wines/to buy some bottles. The vibe is on point

GREAT place. We found this place by chance since many of the other wineries were either not dog friendly or fully booked. The inside is gorgeous. I think the tasting is worth $25 since you got 5 different types. All the wines were very solid- we ended up getting 2 bottles. Jess was amazing!! Great service and incredibly knowledgeable about the wines. They were friendly and poured well ;D 10/10 would come back. ps: DONT SLEEEP ON THE NUTS! Amazballs.

This is an awesome little spot tucked away in Downtown Healdsburg. I was out wine tasting for my birthday and a friend had recommended checking out this newer place. It was very clean with a large deck patio which gives it a back yard vibe. The server Lucienne took care of my group with attentive service and enthusiasm for her wines. She has a friendly personality which made our visit well worth it. I look forward to stop in again. The flights were $25 each so you can prepare for the cost. I don't know if they serve any food items. I had just eaten lunch, so I did not bother asking about an appetizer menu

Really great wine!! I recently came across this wine at Madrona Manor and was pleasantly surprised. I was put off initially by the name but the wine was great and I immediately forgave them! The spot in Healdsburg is a quaint little shop you'd never know was there. I used to visit the previous winery and I look forward to visiting in person soon! Cheers to another great Pinot Producer in our neighborhood. Just popped in to the tasting room unannounced and was greeted graciously by Lucienne despite the fact she seemed busy. She was a great host and very accommodating. we enjoyed the wines, and the space is very casual yet chic. Our favorites were the Pinot, Old Vine Blend, and Undertow. All in all a great spot!

I came by last week for a tasting and had a wonderful time. Alex curated a great experience for us, she was kind and very knowledgeable. We tried the Brie and crackers, and it's a must, so good!!

LOVE this place. The wines are fantastic, and the ladies that work there are so charismatic. When I went here for a tasting, I enjoyed all of the wines in the flight equally! I'm planning on becoming a member here the next time I'm in Healdsburg. Can't recommend trying this place out enough!

Great wines - great ambiance, DJs playing occasionally on the weekend. Great place to enjoy really great wines, small appetizers and good conversation. I love this tasting room and the staff. Need something to do in or near Healdsburg during the week or on the weekend? This is a great place to just hang out.

Had a wonderful tasting at BloodRoot last week. Such a cozy place! Alex poured & was so attentive, knowledgeable and friendly. The wines were amazing and so were the Brie & crackers. Had to bring a few bottles of their delicious Pinot Noir home!

Great location and the friendliest staff you could imagine. As we sat down a staff member was enjoying her day at a table near us even when she was off the clock. She made us feel right at home and introduced us to Zach who poured our tasting. Zach was as entertaining as he was informative for our table of 4. He was attentive to us and the other customers at BloodRoot. The wines did not cost a painful amount and we enjoyed most of them enough to buy more than a couple of bottles. This is a wonderful place for joy and restfulness. Give it a try. I hope you enjoy it as much as we did.

A true hidden gem of Healdsburg. Incredible wine and ambiance accompanied with great service! 10/10 recommend!

My boyfriend and I had the absolute best time tasting here over the weekend. Not only was the wine absolutely delish (converted from Chardonnay hater to Chardonnay lover!) but the staff (huge shout out to Zach here) made the experience so fun that I wish I could be back every weekend. Go here ASAP for chill/hilarious vibes that will make even the snobbiest of winos crack a smile. PS - Adrienne was fab as well and has the ultimate trump card ... her tiny, adorbs pup, Olive. Talk about the ultimate win!

Amazing little treasure on our drive. Great service, atmosphere and wine! Very helpful and friendly. Would highly recommend-and feel safe during COVID. The decor is beautiful rustic chic! Definitely check this hidden gem out!

We had a tasting on their outdoor patio last week. Zach was our pourer who was entertaining and knowledgeable. We tried their chardonnays, cabs and Zins which were all great. The single varietal Carignan was particularly interesting as you do not see that very often. This was a very pleasant experience and I would highly recommend Zach and Bloodroot wines. Stop by if you get a chance you wont regret it.
