Bloom Carneros - Review - Sonoma - Sonoma - The Infatuation

"A winery might seem like an unexpected setting for a family-friendly restaurant with dishes that appeal to diners of every age, but that’s exactly what you’ll discover at Bloom Carneros, the restaurant at Kivelstadt Cellars. The space is all homespun warmth: outdoor tables shaded by trees, string lights overhead, a swingset and play area for kids to run around, and an overall easygoing vibe. The fried chicken sandwich is the ideal contrast between crunchy and tender, and you’ll want at least two orders of the crispy sweet potato tacos dorados. Most entrees are generously portioned and priced under $20—a rare find in the area." - Gabi Moskowitz

Bloom Carneros: Sparkling rosé, ancient vines, and a brunch worth remembering. We came to Bloom for a birthday brunch and left completely enchanted. The sparkling rosé was a standout—elegant, crisp, and genuinely one of the best I’ve had. I’d come back for that alone. Brunch itself was beautiful—seasonal, flavorful, and plated with care. Not overdone, just perfectly balanced. Afterward, we stayed for a tasting flight that explored the more adventurous side of their cellar, including: Orange wines that leaned floral and bright (though I’d love to see them left on the lees a bit longer for that extra depth you get in Hungary or Georgia) Ancient vines, with fruit from the late 1800s and early 1900s—are intensely flavorful and rare to taste. These older vines struggle more, so the yield is smaller but the wine is full of character. The real magic, though, was in the hospitality. Our tasting guide had a degree in winemaking and shared her knowledge generously—thoughtfully tailoring the experience and elevating the entire afternoon. She made my friend’s birthday feel personal, relaxed, and incredibly special. Top reasons to go: 🌸 Truly excellent sparkling rosé 🥂 Warm, knowledgeable service 🍽️ Refined but approachable brunch menu 🍷 Fascinating flight: orange wines + ancient vines 🧘‍♀️ A calm, elegant space to slow down and savor If you're looking for a place that’s both elevated and welcoming, Bloom Carneros is a must. I’ll be recommending it to everyone. The artwork on the bottles is amazing and I would love to see the artist's work hung in the tasting room.

This place is happy, welcoming, relaxed, friendly, and the food is tasty and fresh. Great lunch after Sonoma shopping. I had the chicken bites with whipped ricotta & chili jam plus strawberry salad and practically licked the plate everything was so farm-to-table good. I'll be back!

Google
I visited this place for Sunday lunch. Food is slightly above average, and comes with nice presentation. My favorite was the strawberry shortcake, which is also shown on their website. But I wish they had more variety on their main dishes since most of them were either sandwich/burger/tacos. Service was okay and the garden seating was decent. Overall, it's a nice place to dine when you visit Sonoma.

Google
Atmosphere is fantastic and service is great. Food was honestly a bit disappointing. I had high hopes for the pork belly; about half the pieces were great and half were overcooked. The fried chicken bites and fried chicken sandwich are fantastic. And the Burrata was somewhat disappointing. Prices are ok (on the expensive end). Overall, would come back

Google
Had an amazing lunch at the bar. Our bartender Sean was incredible, food was delicious and we tasted a ton of wine. Even left with several bottles from the vineyard that were surprisingly pleasant. Highly recommend this gem we stumbled across.

Google
Discovered this delightful restaurant with its all outdoor dinning area. You can sit on the covered patio or at one of the tables in the garden. While limited, the wine selection was sufficiently diverse (local, France, Spain, etc). The service was personal and attentive. The food was very inventive (fish tacos with plum salsa !!!). Will definitely be biding here again for lunch.

Google
This is a place that I will always come back to and dine whenever I am in the area. This is an outdoor dining space with wine tasting, casual yet cosy vibe, and with nice art pieces displayed at the time. They are dog friendly, kid friendly and good for groups. We made reservations for a group of five, for brunch. Their service is excellent: fast, attentive to details, made great recommendations on food and things to do in the area and they didn't mind having us stay inside after dining (because we weren't waiting for our uber to come and it was taking them a while). The food was amazing, the chef really did a great job curating each meal because the flavors are unique, seasonal and the ingredients are fresh - be sure to ask about the chef's specials. They have a good selection of food, drinks and even dessert.

Google
Bloom Carneros is a true Sonoma gem! We come often as wine club members, and it’s our go-to for enjoying Kivelstadt wines with a delicious meal. It’s rare to find a spot that’s both kid- and dog-friendly — they have shaded outdoor seating, a big open space for kids to run, and even a playhouse. The food is outstanding. The burrata, halibut aguachile, peach BLT on focaccia, and KC Burger are all must-tries — each dish cooked perfectly and beautifully presented. Pair it with a glass (or two) of your favorite Kivelstadt wine, and you’ve got the perfect afternoon. Whether you live in Sonoma or are just passing through wine country, Bloom Carneros should be on your list

Yelp
I love everything about Bloom Carneros. 1 . Food is amazing! I love a place that takes salads seriously with the proportions and pairings well thought out and dressed to perfection! See the beet salad image which I highly recommend! The squash pasta dish was so creamy and noodles were perfect for holding the sauce - loved it! 2. Wonderful for dogs!! They had a dog menu and I got Izzy the beef patty which she loved and really nice rice and carrots(which she ignored ugh she doesn't eat veggies ) pic below. The place is interesting enough for her to do some investigating and then sleeping in the sun. 3. Connected to Kivelstadt winery which has such interesting wines including two chilled reds which are so good!

Yelp
Read the great review so decided to try this place on a Saturday during our trip to Sonoma. The outdoor seating was beautiful and nicely decorated. The service was slow but the food was a disappointment. We ordered the baby back ribs, the meat was tough but the fries were great, so as the coleslaw. The Chicken wings were good but the vegetables pasta was soggy and tasteless. Don't think we will be back.

Yelp
I went to this place for lunch to meet up with some family who were in town. My cousin has a toddler and I have a preschooler. This place is perfect for children! They had a playground which was near our table so we could watch our kids while also enjoy our meal. The food was delicious and the live music was wonderful. Great place for families!

Yelp
Was excited to try this place because of the reviews and photos management had posted of the food. We ordered the fish tacos, vegetable pasta, halibut appetizer, and ribs. Our group was a party of 6 adults and unfortunately every single item we ordered was disgusting. Very bland, no flavor and extremely overpriced for what we received. The food was so terrible, we ended up not finishing the dishes and going to a different restaurant. On the positive side, the restaurant ambiance is beautiful and the staff were very nice and accommodating. Would maybe come back for drinks, but definitely not for food.

Yelp
The food was excellent, but unfortunately my wife could only finish half of her meal because the bees wanted their share in everything and the little fans provided by the staff had no effect on their activity. My wife ultimately receive a bee sting. Staff reaction was 'oh, we're sorry, but the bees come from another property in the area.' My response to them was, 'we won't be back. Unless you solve the problem. Sorry, it seemed like a nice place until the food arrived.

Yelp
Had brunch here on our way to Sonoma for the day/night. The service was super friendly and the outside dining is spacious and a great place to be on a sunny day. We ordered the breakfast sandwich and halibut taco special, as well as ginger cake for dessert. The food was all delicious; the bread on the sandwich was amazing and the house made tortillas held up very well. The portions were also generous. It would've been nice to be able to taste wines from the neighboring winery during our dining experience however, they serve the wines by the glass at the restaurant so we were still able to try a couple and ended up buying a bottle of pinot noir.

Yelp
Outdoor only restaurant. The space is perfect to enjoy the nice weather while your kid happily plays in the small play structure, running back and forth between bites of food. It's great that you can keep an eye on your kid while peacefully eating some good food. Menu changes seasonally, and ingredients seem to be consistently fresh. Food tends to be tasty. I particularly enjoyed the shoestring fries ($9) which come with either lemon or spicy aioli, and halibut aguachile ($24.5) which was very well-balanced and fresh. The pea shoots salad with burrata tends to be overly lemony or over-dressed, but for me, burrata is always good anywhere. Their kids menu ($12) is very appropriate, with choices from a hot dog and fries to a kid-friendly charcuterie with salami, apples, crackers and cheese. I'm not a drinker, but they have plenty of wine options as well. Truly a great place for families. On race weekends, it's my regular Sunday afternoon spot before picking up the hubby from the nearby raceway and heading back to SF. Hubby likes the cubano sandwich which comes with a side salad ($19.5), so I usually take that to go for him. Plenty of umbrellas and trees for shade. Some fire pits. Half cement patio, half wood chips (so you can plan your footwear accordingly). Private free parking lot is gravel/loose rocks. The only downsides: --The bees love this place! Though they do have some bee bags to try to minimize them flocking around you and your food (just try not to order too much sweet stuff!). --Service is super casual and can be relatively slow at times. Though during my most recent visit, service was on point! Either way, I think this lends to the relaxing atmosphere, so it's perfect for when you just want to sit, relax, or chat with friends. Overall, good food with a play area for kids, and fully situated outdoors for dogs.

Yelp
Yesterday was my first time at Bloom Carneros. It's a lovely outdoor restaurant and tasting room, with heaters and covers for this colder time of year. It was nice to have an option so close to the vineyards without having to go downtown, and the prices were pretty reasonable for the area. My friend and I shared the fries, brussel sprouts, soup, and sweet potato tacos. It was more than enough food for two people, and everything was yummy! I definitely plan on returning.

Yelp
Bloom Carneros has excellent service and a relaxing dining experience. I loved the outdoor patio. The orange accents provided a really lovely fall ambiance on a beautiful sunny September day. Our server was really attentive and also gave recommendations, which I appreciated. The burger was delicious and perfectly cooked. I also tried the pork belly sliders. The cuts of pork belly were similar to "la rou" (Chinese bacon/cured pork belly) but thicker. Both the burger and the sliders had rich meat flavors with a nice tangy pickled vegetable contrast. The sliders had an additional spice--nothing hot though. The dessert was okay. The s'more was a bit too rich and sweet, which made it difficult to eat. The panna cotta was mid. The textures were a bit too experimental for me. The panna cotta itself was very bland, and the ice clusters on top with the cake crumbles looked a mess and didn't pair well texturally.

Yelp
First time here for food. This is one of the best patios in all of the Bay Area. And super dog friendly. The fried chicken bites were great. The falafel sliders, sadly, didn't have any taste. Service was good. Great coffee too.

Yelp
Bloom provides a spacious setting with lots of shade outdoors. The place is dog friendly and kid friendly. They have a play structure to occupy kids. The restaurant is also attached to a winery. We weren't too hungry, and wanted something light to eat. I had the halibut aguachile. The blood orange in this dish was refreshing. The Burrata my bf had was also good.

Yelp
First off, I really dislike writing negative reviews but we liked this place and they can do better. Atmosphere: 5 out of 5, patio was amazing and live music was tremendous Service: 5 out of 5, truly great from the hostess, to the busser, to the server, to the runner Food: barely 2 stars.......do they even taste the food? The broccoli caesar was so bitter my girl didn't even take a second bite. The vegetarian cubano was even more bitter, the mushrooms were inedible. One of the worst dishes i've had since pre covid. I have never not finished an espresso in my life, my girl and i each got one and even that was bitter and undrinkable. Again, i hate leaving bad reviews but we really enjoyed hanging out here and would like to see this place shine. Everything but the food was awesome. Hope they take this to heart, again i apologize for the negative food review but it was the worst meal we've had in years. The potato chips and burratta were good though.

Yelp
First time in. Good, not great. 27$ for the halibut taco special- 2 bland tacos with unseasoned halibut, cabbage, peach salsa, and avocado spread. Fries were great. Roasted carrots were great. Chicken bites were chewy and tasted like flour. Good to know for reservations: The patio is seats under a covered patio near the outdoor bar and the garden is outdoor in plastic chairs on wood chips. Service is very slow. LOTS of tourists. Beer and wine only- no liquor.

Brian B.

Yelp
Great food and attentive service. Chicken sandwich was incredible and beet salad was tasty and light. Enjoyed the price point of the variety of wines and great vibes all around at the restaurant. Kids playing could be a distraction but provides a great outlet for families. Highly recommend for lunch while in Sonoma

Yelp
Good food. Tasty wines! Good service too We ordered the fried chicken to share and it was warm and delicious. Fries are 4/5 and the slaw was great.

Yelp
Ambiance with kids is perfect due to the playground and family friendly setting. Food is delicious and staff very friendly. One of the only restaurants you can bring your kiddo to where you're not stressing chasing them around! Loved it, and so cute!!

Yelp
Food service wine all was terrific! Can't wait to return....we want to return with more people so we can try a few appetizers!!

Yelp
Great place off the beaten path behind the schellville fire station. Halibut tacos were super fresh and good. Burger was meaty and cooked to perfection as I requested medium. Great outdoor dining experience.

Yelp
I ordered a breakfast sandwich and a coffee. People, let me tell you - the coffee was HOT! It's a small detail but it is very appreciated! Looking forward to returning and trying more things from their brunch menu.

Yelp
"But one dish, the Peach & Mozzarella Sandwich, was one of the best things I've eaten all year." For lunch today, I tried Bloom in Carneros for the first time. I was completely blown away. It was the rare (almost never) experience of having nothing critical to say about the food. I'll say it again, I was blown away. Every single dish and component was perfectly executed -- from the amount of dressing on the salads, to the consistent cut of the chives, to the perfect level of GBD of the fries. And the salad greens on all of the dishes and sandwiches were the freshest I've ever seen. Not one single leaf wasn't crunchy, delicious, and refreshing. The two of the three dishes I tried were amazing (the burger was good, too, but at the end of the day, it was a well-executed burger cooked to a perfect med rare). But one dish, the Peach & Mozzarella Sandwich, was one of the best things I've eaten all year. It was reminiscent of a BLT, but with slices of peaches instead of tomato, and a lighter texture because of the mozzarella. Amazing!! I recommend that you make a trip just to have this sandwich before the peach season is over! The other amazing dish was the Fried Chicken Bites sitting on whipped ricotta and topped with a little bit of sriracha. Juicy pieces of chicken breast perfectly cooked, creamy whipped ricotta, and the warm sting of sriracha. My mouth hole is all wet just writing about it.

Yelp
Grabbed lunch here mid-afternoon after wine-tasting nearby; nearly all the tables were available and we were seated immediately. Two of us shared the brussel sprout caesar ($18), the fried chicken bites ($14), and a burrata appetizer ($19). Really nice weather made the patio seating quite comfortable. Service was very friendly and we did not wait long for our food. There was good background music that did not interfere with conversation. The food was fine, the portions all on the small side. The brussel sprout caesar was okay, the flour-dredged fried chicken bites were fine, and the burrata was very generously sized however arrived with only four slender pieces of focaccia. Our server delivered additional bread upon request (4 more small pieces) so we could finish the cheese, and we noticed an additional $5 was tacked onto our bill for this (small disappointment). All in all the meal was pleasant. Be advised this restaurant pays its workers a living wage and provides healthcare and so there is a surcharge added to the bill for this reason.

Yelp
My new favorite restaurant in Sonoma! We had a wonderful lunch here--delicious food, great service (Thanks, Luis!), and perfect ambiance. Kid-friendly, dog-friendly, casual atmosphere. A bit chilly, but the heat lamps worked & they even brought my wife a lap blanket! Nice wine pairings with our meals. I highly recommend the beet salad w/grilled chicken. Wife loved the Korean ribs. A++

Yelp
Love this place! Delicious food, great wines from Kivelstadt, and a laid back backyard setting with a playground for kids. Definitely recommend reservations as we stopped in for lunch in the off-season and it was fully booked but they were able to squeeze us in, and it's not hard to book last-minute. I had also looked into the venue for an event and they were very responsive and reasonably priced. Some of my favorites are: the burger + 1950 Charbono; pork belly with hen of the woods mushrooms and the halibut ceviche.

Yelp
My family and I went to Bloom Carneros while staying in Sonoma on vacation. The staff were accommodating as we originally were set out with the picnic tables. We were a little worried because there were ants all over our tables and a couple inches of leaves that our feet sunk into while sitting. We get that it is farm country (hey I grew up on a ranch so I was ok with it) but since we had little kids with us we asked if we could be set under their awning which was much nicer of an area. Once there, it was a better dining experience for everyone in our group. We ordered almost everything on the menu (there were six adults and four kids) and everything was really good. There were bees present so we ended up not finishing some of the meat items since that seemed to be what was attracting them. There is a playground that the kids were able to play on when they were waiting for the food to come out which was nice. For the adults - we sipped on some amazing wine flights while we waited lol. Bloom was a nice place for me to eat but it you aren't into nature (aka bugs, dirt, etc.) this probably isn't a place for you.

Natalie V.

Yelp
My friends and I came here for Brunch and this was highly recommended by one of them. It is an outdoor dining experience, kid-friendly and also dog-friendly. We loved the casual and cozy atmosphere and the service from the time we came until the time we left - we are not locals and we had to Uber and Lyft our way around, and their staff was kind enough to invite us back in and to stay inside the space while waiting for our ride (since it was taking us a while to get a ride and for them to come). The food did not disappoint, we got the Halibut Aguachile that came with chips, Halibut Tacos, Burgers and Fries, Squash Blossom, and other chef's specialties they had for the day. The food did not disappoint, each bite was a unique symphony of flavor combinations. They had a good selection of wine and other refreshing drinks. This is definitely a place that I bookmarked and will also come here.

Yelp
The family and I had lunch at Bloom Carneros last Sunday. This was the second time for the Mrs. and I and I was shocked I didn't write a review after our first visit. Bloom Carneros is located at Kivelstadt Cellars and it occupies what looks like the back yard of a home. Honestly, I'd loved to have a backyard set up like Bloom Carneros. Minus the play area for the kiddos. Our lunch reservation was at noon and we arrived about ten minutes early. We asked for a table in the shade and the hostess found the perfect table for us. The Mrs. and I started things off with a glass of wine. After a further review of the menu, we decided to share some small plates. We started off with the Elote which looked like a work of art. A beautiful delicious painting consisting of smoked corn, organic cherry tomatoes, baby cilantro and a smoked jalapeno aioli drizzled with a lime vinaigrette. The next dish we had was the Halibut Aguachile. To me, this dish is a MUST if dining at Bloom Carneros. Beautifully prepared halibut dancing in a cucumber lime granita with cherry tomatoes, avocado, cucumber, smoked jalapeno puree and micro cilantro served with house made chips. After a short break, we moved on to the Glazed Pork Belly which was like candy. Delicate pieces of smoked and glazed pork belly, grilled 'hen of the woods' mushrooms, pistachio pesto and burrata served with a radicchio salsa verde. The combination of the smoky flavor of the mushrooms with the salty sweetness of the pork belly was incredible. I think I want pork belly with grilled mushrooms from now on. Our final small plate was Bloom Carneros's legendary Fried Chicken Bites. These tiny pieces of fried chicken are served sitting on a spread of whipped Bellwether Farm ricotta and house made Calabrian chili jam. My daughter decided after all of the small plates that she had to have the Fried Chicken Sandwich. I didn't take a picture of it bit it was enormous. I tried it and it had a little bit heat to it which kiddo didn't like very much. For dessert we had the Baked Alaska. We were fortunate to have Jenn as our server the first time we dined at Bloom Carneros and she was our server during our most recent visit. She's great. So is the rest of the staff. If you have little kids, Bloom Carneros/Kivelstadt is a great place for families with little kids. They has a decent sized play area for the kids which is great. Parents can enjoy their food and wine while the kids be kids.

Yelp
Always a delicious meal. Love their daily specials. Fun, relaxing and beautiful atmosphere. Staff are all so friendly and professional, too.

Yelp
Huge, dog friendly, kid friendly outdoor space for wine tasting with full menu restaurant. I was pleasantly impressed by the food quality and service. Casual atmosphere, reservations recommended as it was quite full when we arrived. Seemed to have a mix of local regulars plus the usual tourists. Large offer of vegetarian options of local ingredients as well as meat/seafood options. Favorite item was actually the chicken burger, which was well balanced with a generous serving of tangy cole slaw. Large parking space outside makes it easy.

Yelp
Great venue, Service was good, Food was Good to OK. Pulled Pork sandwich was Quite Decent for CALI but was closer to Sliced pork than Pulled-Smoke flavor and intensity was spot on though!

Yelp
We decided to venture to Sonoma for lunch and try a spot away from the square. Bloom Carneros was the perfect spot to spend the afternoon. We were greeted at the door by the manager, who was very friendly and inviting. Our table was in the middle with a good view of the stage. Live music started around 2pm and the musician was a young lady with a nice music repertoire. Jasmine was our server and she was a delight. The winery representative came by and introduced herself, Tori was very knowledgeable about wine and suggested a few that we paired with our lunch. The food was amazing, my wife had the beet salad with salmon paired with a Sauvignon Blanc. I went all out and had the burger, which was delicious. I highly recommend Bloom Carneros for a lunch spot, service, food, ambiance all amazing. My wife's commented that "I feel like we're on vacation "! Bravo Bloom Carneros

Yelp
We had a wonderful lunch at Bloom Carneros with college friends. Our kids happily played on the play structure and we got to sip wine, chat, and enjoy each other's company. The food was delicious- great options for adults and kids alike. And the staff was super friendly. Looking forward to coming back!

Yelp
I made reservations for this as I knew it would be busy. Large outdoor space ambiance was gorgeous. Wine tasting area separated. Came with a group of 5. Hostess was extremely helpful and friendly. Service started strong. He was very informative and friendly. Table ordered the peach and corn salsa to start and each ordered an entree to follow. The salsa was delicious. Everyone loved the food. I ordered the tomato and watermelon salad and the carrot Aranici. Both were to die for! I will be back for sure as the food is superb.

Heather L.

Yelp
Food overall was good but disappointed with the service. We were seated outside on a cold day and asked two times for a heater to be moved near us, which they finally did after we got our food (waited 30-60 minutes for it)...long time to wait with young kids. When I ordered, the waitress recommended the pasta with squash and mushroom as a top 3 dish. I was very hungry and asked if it was filling, and she said yes. It was not. The waitress / hostess didn't even ask how we liked the food when we got the bill. A bit frustrated with this experience especially given other positive reviews. I think they can improve training for servers to help them help customers order the right dishes.

Yelp
This sleeper location, a place you might just drive right on by, don't! Make it your destination! The team, the atmosphere, the food, the way they nailed the 'pair any wine you have with my meal' was perfect. I shouldn't tell you this but if you're a patio lover, you MUST GO HERE! We will absolutely be back!

Yelp
I really enjoyed my meal here with my daughter. The food was fresh and my daughter (a tough critic) really did also. She had the enchaladas and I had the carnitas burritos. Service was speedy and professional and of course the food was delicious. I think if you are in the mood for great Mexican food that is delicious and flavourful this is your place. Bon Appetit.

Yelp
Absolutely delicious!! I can't believe this is in my backyard and i finally made a reservation. I am so glad I did! Monica was our server and she great!! Great ambiance outdoor seating area with plenty of shady spots to choose from. They are also dog friendly so that is a plus! Now to our food - we shared an appetizer the Halibut Aguachile - it was so fresh and delicious - next time I'll ask for a little more of the smoked jalapeño purée. We then shared two mains - they had Halibut tacos with a apricot salsa as a special and we also ordered the fried chicken sandwich. Both were mouth watering good! Can't wait to bring some friends to experience it as well!! Highly recommend!!

Yelp
Had a great lunch , shared dessert which was a different delicious take on baked Alaska. We would definitely go back. I had the fried chicken sandwich with fries ( would say could be a bit more fries), we shared the burrata which was awesome comes with a pesto sauce order additional bread right away cause they bake it and it takes awhile. Another person had the smoked chicken torta sandwich with the salad and said it was really tasty. I tried the salad and the dressing was yummy. They serve their own wine and they have their own separate tasting room. Every thing is outside . Definitely make reservations, they have a bar you don't need reservations. Friendly service. Parking lot is small so definitely car pool and our car got ding in the parking lot. Definitely want to try the watermelon salad and the s'mores dessert.

Yelp
Vibes were good but food it mid. Good for a big group. Good service !! The covered heated patio was nice to sit under.

Yelp
Great outdoor and open space set up. The food is amazing, we ordered butternut squash, very delight and refreshing; fried chicken burger is crunchy, juicy and the sauce is a highlight. Most fun part is they have a dog menu, that's why we drove 2.5 hours bringing the dog here. All the staff are super friendly and knowledgeable. They even offered blanket, a necessity for a lot of people. Dining in this restaurant is a relaxing and enjoyable moment.

Yelp
This place is amazing! We ordered 4 dishes and everything was spectacular. Excellent chefand team. The patio setting was really nice. Would go back in a heartbeat!!!

Yelp
This is a Bloom Carneros/Kivelstadt appreciation post. These photos are a combination of several visits (within a two week timeframe) so I thought best to include them all. My boyfriend and I stayed in Sonoma for the month of July in hopes to get a feel of the area for a potential permanent move. Kivelstadt was one of the first places we went to grab a drink at the outdoor bar, and Eric the GM was one of the first people we met during our stay. He gave us a ton of helpful information, but more importantly was just pleasant to talk to. Because of him, we wanted to go back to support him and the restaurant. Well - I am so glad we did! FOOD: Over the course of three visits we had the photos you'll see below. Shishito peppers as a bar snack the first time we went.. and how beautiful! The second trip we ordered a full meal for 3. Appetizers were the halibut aguachile and tomato & watermelon salad. Both such light and flavorful dishes. For entrees, two of us ordered the chicken paillard and my boyfriend had the pasta. The chicken, though fried, also felt strangely light. The caramel sauce was so unique and really gave the dish something special. The beautiful greens on top were the perfect accompaniment to the crispy chicken. The pasta was another beautifully made dish. Everything about that dinner was a 10/10. Which resulted in us returning less than 24 hours later for the dish I can't stop thinking about to this day - the fish tacos. Best. Fish. Tacos. Ever. Fresh halibut, avocado, slaw, and a fresh apricot salsa. There's nothing better. I'd love to see them make that a permanent item on the menu and available for both lunch and dinner. Overall, I love the fact that the place feels like a casual outdoor space, but really delivers something high quality and special when it comes to food, service and drinks. We will be back again and again.

Yelp
Came for Mother's Day brunch and everything was fantastic. Love the playground for the kiddos. Only negative was that half of the table got their food, and the other half didn't get their food for another 20 minutes. Totally get that the kitchen was backed up as it was busy. We will be back again!

Yelp
Whenever we're in the area, we have to stop at Bloom Carneros. Great food! Great wine! Lovely dining patio! And some of the friendliest people you'll have the pleasure of meeting.

Yelp
Had an amazing lunch here. The space is beautiful and Erik took great care of us!! Wine was delicious and halibut tacos were one of the best things I've ever tasted!! Taking a bottle of Carbonic Zin home. So happy we came here and we will be back!! (Live music on the patio was a plus!!)

Yelp
Excellent food and service. If you are trying to find a nice place to relax, have some good food, and try some wine, this is it. No hassle, easy parking, very pleasant staff. Highly recommend the fried chicken sandwich. If you're worried about baking in the sun, the covered patio is great. If you like it under more open air, definitely go for the garden side. The garden tables do have large umbrella over each table. Don't forget to try the pork belly! So good.

Yelp
We attended a wedding at Kivelstadt with food provided by their restaurant, Bloom Carneros, and it was hands down the best wedding meal we had ever had. We each had a salad and a beef entree (possibly the steak on their menu - sorry I don't have the details or a photo!). The salad was incredibly fresh, and the beef was insanely tender. We enjoyed every bite!

Yelp
If you're in the Napa area, this restaurant is a MUST! The food was top of the line, delicious with farm sourced ingredients! We tried two different appetizers, the tomato with Burrata was so tasty and refreshing. And my personal favorite, the pork belly! Oh my lord, I would come back here just for that dish! For my main entree I had the halibut tacos. Which were so fresh, and you could taste de quality of the ingredients, every bite was a dance for my taste buds. 10/10 would recommend! Also, the service was wonderful, Daniel and Monica made us feel so comfortable and were great at telling us about the food and wine. You def need to visit this place.
