This place is an absolute treasure, and one that takes some effort to find--during our visit in March 2023, it was surrounded by construction and very awkward to access. The parking lot felt tight, too--we got the last non-handicapped spot, but the restaurant wasn't even full inside. (There is also a large patio, but no one was there during our lunchtime, likely because it was still a bit cold out.)
We had fantastic service the whole time from a young college student. For our appetizers, we had coconut shrimp and crab hush puppies, and both were incredible. Just so I don't repeat myself too much, all of the food was amazing. This is a seafood restaurant, but they can make everything tasty, including chicken. I had three tacos--chicken, fish, and shrimp. My son had fettucine alfredo without meat. My husband had fish and chips. My mother-in-law had shrimp and grits. For drinks, my husband had a couple local beers and I had a Black Apple Hibiscus Cider.
My mother-in-law is local and had never been here before, and she says she'll be back. I know I definitely want to come here again when I'm in the state, too. We were at the end of a five-day visit to Arkansas and this was the best meal by far.
