Hubs and I went to the Blue Benn a few months ago and LOVED our breakfast!! I had the blueberry pancakes; which were light and fluffy, had a ton of blueberries in them and since the stack was too much for me to eat, I took a box home. They were equally good the next day!! Hubs had a ham and cheese omelet that he said was amazing!!
We were in the area again and we were dying to try their lunch. I ordered the broiled haddock (love fried, but I'm trying to be fairly good) with mashed potatoes and coleslaw. The waitress was very nice and asked if I would like gravy on my mashed.....yes please!!! A few minutes later she brought me cottage cheese (not coleslaw, but i love CC so I took it), then my fish. The gravy was just melted butter, which again...made the potatoes taste good, and maybe their idea of gravy is butter??? The haddock was tasty and the red bliss mashed were tasty. Hubs had a turkey club which he loved. It came with hand cut fries that were crispy and fresh. He also got blueberry pancakes ti try there, and take home. Those were spot on again!!!
Overall we were happy to go back and will do so again!!!
