Been there twice with my husand (we live in Covington) it's delicious & flavorful. Love the decor 🇭🇳 also. The pupusas are large and the filling was generous 😇. The flour tortillas are made to order nice & warm. Pollo con tajadas le encanto a mi esposo. The staff are very friendly. Any time we are in Kenner we plan on stopping by everytime.

My husband and I ate at blue bird yesterday and I must say it was worth every dollar we spent. The food was authentic, homemade like flavors. We could tell they use quality food and ingredients. We had the carne asada and pollo con tajadas with tamarindo to drink. The tamarindo was not too sweet or too bland, it was perfect! We will definitely be going back. If you are looking for good atmosphere (tranquil, warm, pleasant, clean) , quality food, and great service, this is the place to go. 🫶👍 it was a 5 star experience for me! I recommend!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ What a wonderful experience catering from Blue Bird! I really needed a good vegetarian option, and they went above and beyond by making a veggie pastelito for my group. It was a total hit! We also had their Honduran tacos, and the food disappeared so quickly because everyone loved it. On top of that, the place itself is beautiful, and the service was absolutely perfect. 100% recommend!

Wow, what an incredible hidden gem! The food was amazing (and wow, HUGE portions) We call ourselves "food snobs," so to impress us this much is pretty telling. And thanks to owner's daughter, Dana, for her great service and bubbly personality. We will absolutely return!

Truly an amazing experience. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere felt warm and welcoming— Very lively, the perfect place to relax. Service was excellent, shout out to Nahomi; she was super friendly and attentive!! Food was very delicious and fresh. I look forward to visiting again.

10’s across the board! This place is so freaking good, I wish I could gatekeeper it, but people need to know how awesome this place is. The food is an 11, the people are super nice and charismatic, the ambiance is cozy and clean, the aesthetic is so authentic, and everything about this place is just amazing. Well, almost everything. The location could be a little better. The parking isn’t that great and getting into the parking lot is a tight enternece. In my opinion it’s well worth it tho.

Don’t miss out on this place! Everything was so fresh and delicious, and the service was outstanding! The street tacos were phenomenal! We went on a Tuesday, and the special was 5 tacos for $10…. Amazing deal! We had never tried Pastelitos before. They were scrumptious! Also the Maduros (sweet plantains) and the Piña juice were so yummy! I wish I lived close to this place. I would be there all the time.

Food and service was 10/10. I went here for lunch on a Saturday and there was ample parking, friendly service at the counter when you order, short wait and delicious food! I got the pollo con tajadas which was the best I've ever had. The horchata drink was heaven and the vibes and decor were inviting and relaxing. Pro tip- this restaurant is at loyola exit behind sam's. Don't follow the GPS to the airport road! I'll be back! 10/10 recommend.

Been anticipating my dining here for a few weeks since they opened. Went for my birthday dinner and it was fantabulous!! Authentic Honduran Family establishment run by mother and daughters with the most delectable food in very generous portions. Can't wait to go back and try other items.
