It’s such a perfect place for work and relaxation. I have so many good vibes from this cafe. First, while it’s a relatively small space, they certainly make the most out of it. The tables are just the right size for a laptop and a drink. They also have a small space outdoors at the back. The wifi is great and the staff are so friendly - They said my tea was on the house just because it was my first time there!

I don't think I will come here again. Overrated and drinks were not worth the price. The pastries were overrated and honestly wished I'd rather had gone to Starbucks to get some points.

Interior design and layout was modern, spacious and naturally well lit as well as their outdoor patio. Furthermore, their atmosphere was very chill and relaxing. I came here today on a warm, cloudy and muggy late morning to grab a drink. It’s my first time going here after years of driving pass by them. I ordered a Bold Cold Brew (16oz) and it was perfect to my liking. It has a smooth flavor, a rich sweetness, a very gentle hint of aroma from coffee beans, and virtually no bitterness. Service was outstanding as well as their staff. Prices were reasonable and competitive. Parking was easy. Free wifi. Overall, I truly enjoyed their service and coffee drink. I recommend this coffee shop.

The single origin cold brew I just got was undrinkable, literally tasted like the cup was full of soap. For $7. Having been to a number of other blue bottles in the past, this experience was a disappointing waste of money

The coffee is good, but the Wifi is God awful. If you are thinking of coming here to get some work done on the laptop, save your time. You're better off going somewhere else.

was unbelievable that they dont have an OVEN or any kind a Toaster machine - got the HAM &🧀 Baquette SNDWCH COLD - I was really , really disappointed when one OF the Barista said: they don’t have an oven 2 WARM - UP or Toast the Sndwch!!! it’s a No, no .. u pay the exact price!! How could you eat cold sndwch w- 🧀 and the 🥖

Blue bottle is a cute little coffee shop on Hillhurst in between Starbucks’s and The Coffee Bean. Although the space is tiny it feels airy and open. One of the wonderful perks of coming early morning is that there are no lines, so if you are in a hurry this is good place to come in and get your coffee. There is usually an open metered parking in the front. Blue bottle uses the pour over method for a cup of coffee, which interestingly is pretty quick. Blue bottle coffee uses ingeo compostable lids and compostable cups although these aren’t for home composting. The cups are small and they don’t do full pours $5.00 USD for a small cup of coffee, €4.43 . Blonde/Light Roast was the request and Guatemalan was the suggestion from the barista/cashier. There are a few chairs and tables which there are a few people working/ writing, the tranquil pace of the location seems to conducive to getting work done unlike busier shops on Hillhurst Ave. There are some pastries; croissants and other sweet and savory goodness’. Overall: Blue bottle is not for everyone; at Five dollars for a few ounces of coffee is not sustainable for the average coffee maniac.

Great Americano. Popular for their New Orleans style coffee drink. Small place but great b for 1-2ppl seating. Indoor and outdoor seating. Super nice staff. In house drinks are in glass cups = not great place for kids.

The iced coffee is really delicious; it could be stronger but that's my personal preference, next time I'll ask for an extra shot. The service is okay and the ambiance clean.

Blue Bottle Coffee is a place for those who like coffee as is. It may not be a place for those who are used to sweet coffees and syrups. The only syrup they have is simple syrup. If I am in the mood for just coffee/cold brew, this is my go to place! I myself am very plain and just get an iced cold brew black or with a splash of oat milk. I also always get a Liege Waffle. For those who are not familiar, it is a thick waffle with sugar crystals in between so some bites are sweeter than others and/or parts of the outside of the waffle may look burnt. Though the iced coffee/waffle combo get me through long days! Note: For food - Every Blue Bottle location has different foods. Some have hot items and some only have pastries and cold sandwiches. Parking is street parking a small lot that is shared with neighboring stores.

Please please please bring back the shakerato :( why have the Nola shakerato but nkt the regular one :( staff here made it for me and they were so kind , it's just a sweet latte shaken over ice, so good!

The coffee is great, I really enjoyed the Nola Shakerota. Service can be better,why would you tell me my drink is ready and then give me attitude for almost grabbing the wrong drink.

I love the Blue Bottle(Studio City) so I figured this would be just as good. Nope! I got my usual Iced Nola Shakerato because it's definitely worth the $9, but here it was soo gross. I couldn't finish it ): the coffee tasted burnt.

I love finding suburby Blue Bottles because they definitely have a different vibe than the ones in the city. This Blue Bottle, located near Pasadena can be hard to find. The logo is pretty small but know that it's right next to a Starbucks! I had some time to kill and what better way to kill it then sipping on a sweet latte? I pulled up (there is a free parking lot for Blue Bottle customers) and got my usual iced sweet latte with oatmilk. Service was super quick -- they made mine hot at first by accident but remade it iced after I mentioned it to thrm. Thank you! Seating is pretty limited; they also have a limited patio section and the bathrooms are in the back too. Definitely had a relaxing hour of getting stuff done.

Is there anything better than the foamy lattes from Blue Bottle Coffee? If you find anything, let me know so I'll switch ;) Always efficient, quick, & exactly as ordered. The texture is so good that makes you wonder if it's *ice cream*. Wish they had a location in Glendale #sigh

Excellent coffee. Vibe is dull and unimaginative. What does that mean? I don't know but it sounds intelligent. I feel the corporate ownership is weighing heavy. It could slip into Starbucks mode--the merchandise, the sad looks of the staff. Something is off here. The coffee is really good, but the culture needs a culture. I feel like it's stuck between Maru and CoffeeBean. Choose a position.

I've been to several Blue Bottle locations around Los Angeles, but this might be my new favorite! It's fairly small inside but it has seating out front, inside, and a patio in the back. As always, the iced lattes were great, but the service here was even better. I asked if there was any sugar in theirs milks (almond and oat) and the baristas were friendly about my inquiry and made sure to check and let me know which one had less sugar. I appreciated their patience and taking the time to double check for me! I also love the ambience of this location - it's a great place for a conversation or to bring your laptop for studying/working for a short while.

i've had better coffee at a gas station in Alabama.. for real the oat milk turned my stomach into knots from the first sip. they use oatly milk (garbage quality) i threw my 7$ match latte in the garbage and walked away with my best friend, she was telling me some good philosophical ponderings, but for the first 20 minutes my focus had to complete with the residue of garbage oat milk in my mouth. 2 starts, only cause the toasts are good.

- Locale Destination - It's on Hillhurst Ave and between Ambrose Ave and Price St in Los Feliz. It's across street from "Albertsons", super market. Ambiance: Like other locations, warm, simple, & modern. Inside and outside seating (front and back side of store). Menu: coffee, pastries, some food. Service: Quick Parking: Street parking is tough here, so park at Albertsons across street! - Gluttony Expedition - Cappuccino: Very creamy, smooth, just amazing. No need sugar. It's very consistent whichever locations you go. - Conqueror's Deduction - I've been tasting and comparing cappuccino at various coffee shops, but no one hasn't beaten Blue bottle yet. I found a close call, but taste quality at this high level and consistency throughout the stores are quite impressive for even non-coffee lover like me. Only thing I'm not so fond of cappuccino here is the quality & amount of milk foam for cappuccino. You need more foam on cappuccino! You always serve me a latte, though I ordered cappuccino!!!! Americans don't understand the difference between latte/froth milk and cappuccino. It's a big difference! Nothing like what you get in Italy.... Milk foam in cappuccino is crazy good wherever you go in Italy.

Came in to pick up some coffee beans and cookies a few days ago. I was there on a late morning weekday and there was a line but it moved quickly. Their chocolate chip sesame cookies with sea salt are pretty good! I didn't really care for the sesame seeds so I picked all those out but liked everything else in them. I think the sesame seeds are just there to give the illusion that the cookies are healthy! Metered street parking is available. Luckily the spot I scored across the street already had money in the meter - love it when that happens!

Went to Blue Bottle to meet someone for coffee this morning. Had never been there. The people working there were not very friendly or warm. It was like I was bothering them. I wanted a caramel latte but they only had brown sugar or simple syrup. Really? Ok fine. I just ordered a cup of coffee. They had no honey. No brown sugar. No agave. Only regular sugar or simple syrup. No one asked me about cream or anything, I had to ask, and they poured it out of the carton into my coffee. What coffee place nowadays doesn't carry honey or agave ? And I found the coffee to be just okay. It was nearly $6 for a medium cup. For coffee. It's a great space, and nice environment, and I love the Los Feliz area. But I'll pass on BB and support a more mom and pop place next time.

Tasted great in San Francisco. Tasted great (and same) in here. Will be back for my caffeine and coffee aroma needs.

Coffee is always great, and workers are polite and don't have as much attitude as most Los feliz baristas. However the sandwich they served was completely stale. I could hardly bite into it and had to throw it away. For a simple sandwich with just prosciutto cheese and butter you expect everything to be fresh.

I didn't get what's the big deal with this coffee shop. Seems like another good regular quintessential modern vibe. Service and coffee that we got were good enough.

I've been in several locations and this is the only location that they give me attitude when asking for more milk and less ice. I drink the coffee super fast and the last thing I want is to end up with a cup full of ice. Also, I've asked the cashier to please charge me for more milk but they decline to do, but then when I get my beverage from the barista I realize the cup is not full. I don't care paying for milk as a matter of fact I could buy a gallon of milk with the gratuity I always leave. But it's just the attitude that they give me for just a splash of milk.

Ambiance: Clean contemporary/ Casual. Service: Quick! Coffee: Their coffee is always well prepared and never served piping hot. I can get their daily brew plain black. Their lattes with oat milk are amazing! I highly recommend. Also, all their food options are great! I love their baked goods, but their overnight oats are just as good. Parking: Street You have the option of residential and metered parking. Do Not park at Albertsons or the Yucas parking. They will tow! Not work friendly: Unless you're working on something that doesn't require wifi or a plug for long periods of time, it's a great spot. If you do plan on doing work- I recommend a charged laptop with an external battery and internet hotspot.

I have had Blue Bottle coffee in NY and LA and never can seem to hop on the bandwagon. I do remember having a really good matcha latte from here. I tried their new Japanese lattes and it wasn't something I would pick up again. This location is always packed and busy but they do have a lot of staff to keep the line moving, and they have great space outside and inside to sit with a friend, to read, or to work for an hour or two. This isn't the spot to work virtually for a long time but a place to definitely grab a coffee and maybe work for an hour. The place was clean and they do have good pastries.

Tiny and quaint. Indoor and outdoor seating best for parties of 1-2. Yes wifi (browser pop-up), no outlets. Semi-busy on weekdays but possible to grab a seat. Heard the New Orleans style coffee is delicious. I enjoyed my Americano. Glass cups for in house iced drinks, and water. Outdoor restroom. Grab your own water on the side. Great service! Parking: meter or residential parking. Not good for kids. Small space with glass around.

Two words. No parking--particularly on Thursday and Friday mornings (street sweeping days). If you are going to have a business in L.A. you need to make sure your customers have adequate parking--otherwise they will leave. Coffee and service are fine. It's a small place so seating is very limited.

Tried again just to give it a chance because All Time was closed and NOPE. Blue bottle still can't get a drink right. Crappiest coffee in town.

3.5 stars. Generally okay, nothing to write home about. Thankfully the place, including its bathroom - outside of the main shop, were clean. The people taking your order could be a bit friendlier/greet customers. The coffee was eh, I won't be back for it. Got the New Orleans with almond milk and did not even finish half. The almond milk was curdling which is generally not a good thing/something you want in your pricey drink. Note that my friend did get the New Orleans with oat milk a little later and that tasted better. My other friend wasn't a big fan of her latte either.

While I don't go to this Blue Bottle very often, I have not been disappointed whenever I've visited. They offer the usual assortment of coffee/espresso-based drinks that you will have seen at other branches if you are a Blue Bottle devotee. They also offer an assortment of pastries and food items if you're looking for a snack. Most recently, I tried their New Orleans-Style Iced Coffee, and as always, I appreciate its level of sweetness that is not overpowering. In current times, you can either order in advance for pickup or wait on a socially distanced line to order. I found the service to be quick and polite, and the ordering system worked smoothly.

Overpriced coffee. For $7 the barista should know how to make a hot coffee especially when I emphasized that I wanted it extra extra hot. Nope, received it less than Luke warm , if that. I was the only person in the store, it's not she had to make a ton of drinks either. Go somewhere else if you want a decent warm coffee. .. or just get it iced.

This place is just overprice. I got a Cafe latte that is 8oz or 10oz for $5, wow! Chocolate chip cookie w/ rock salt on top for $3, it's small too!! But it was ok. There's nothing special with the coffee. Customer service? Bad! Came in yesterday (Saturday) at 7am the lady that took my order doesn't look happy. When I tried to ask the other lady something she completely ignored me. I was calling her and I was at the barista area. No wifi too I suggest save your money and go somewhere else.

I went in this morning to get a good cup of coffee before work since I was early and really wanted to enjoy the experience of going into a coffee shop. The mocha I ordered was delicious but the barista was dreadful, almost like he didn't want me to be there. Once he charged me he just walked away without saying a word, it was an unpleasant encounter. Coffee was A plus but service was terrible. Please improve and leave behind the dismissive unwelcoming attitude

This place has really gone downhill. This was my local, I was gone for a few months traveling and it was really dirty inside. I asked for an oat milk mocha and I see the guy using milk. I am highly allergic, I interrupt him and tell him again I asked for an Oat milk not dairy milk. He shrugs and makes me a new one. Where is the management for this place, I would rather deal with the parking and go Intelligencia.

The New Orleans with Oakmilk is amazing. End of review. Just kidding. But this one is for all my fellow coffee snobs. I want to say that even Hailey Bieber has been posting about this coffee, I'm not 100% sure but I wouldn't be surprised. The nearest Blue Bottle is about a 20 minute drive from my house but it's a drive that I'm willing to make when I've got some time to spare. This location is near the Griffith Park hiking trail. I'm not too sure if there is a parking lot but if you drive around, you'll most likely find a spot within minutes. They also have a water bowl out for your pets so don't leave them out!

The best in coffee town! Blue Bottle coffee is delicious, and the way they put so much thought into making into the coffee really shows. Menu has about 10-12 drinks and it's all about specialty and good taste. There is only one size so not much customization is possible, but remember coffee is standard! This spot is very quiet and kind of hidden, but that's what's really nice about it. What I enjoy about this particular location is that the coffee tastes consistently every single time. It's like drinking the same thing, it's not disappointing like other coffee shops where the coffee tastes different everyday- at the point, I don't mind spending $5 on an iced latte everyday when I know exactly what to expect.

I can see why there's a hype for this spot. Blue Bottle takes their coffee seriously, and I don't think I was ready for it. I walked in to a very modern, sleek interior of a coffee shop with baked goods at the front and an innovative looking menu hanging ahead of you above the register. BELLA DONOVAN 5/5: I decided to go with this drip coffee due to the hints of raspberry and other notes. I asked for steamed milk to top it off. I was impressed. It was a bit too strong for my liking so I couldn't actually finish the drink, but I could tell the quality of the coffee was fantastic. NEW ORLEANS 5/5: This is my friend's regular iced drink and she mixes it with oat milk which gives off a very slight sweet aftertaste. Very smooth, not so acidic. I think I would get that next time. I must say I also love the idea of having that little vacuum drain at the front for us to pour our remaining coffee in instead of tossing the filled cups in the trash. Very innovative--never seen before. PARKING Oh Hillhurst. Anywhere you can find on the streets...

Delicious coffee! Super nice service and baristas. Cute little seating area. I like their fuzzy specialty drink which I cannot remember the name of... I will pop in every time I am in the hood - can't have enough great coffee shops in LF!!!

Finally! A coffee shop in Los feliz worth talking about. I've been waiting for blue bottle to open since I noticed it painted on the wall. My excitement was real as I hopped on over, soft opening morning! First, the staff! Such fabulous people, with great spirits, and answer all questions you may have about coffee. The patrons were all relax, talkative and friendly. You just really felt the good vibes here all throughout. I got the New Orleans with almond milk and it was quite literally perfection in a cup. Thanks a lot, blue bottle, I don't know if I can handle this new addiction. Joke, I can for you! There's indoor seating, a couple tables in the front and a little patio in the back. Parking may be a bit rough as it's mostly street, but you won't mind the walk in this neighborhood. Welcome to the neighborhood blue bottle, so happy to have you here!

I was hesitant to come since it's so popular among tourists, I was afraid it's gone down hills by now. The line was long and slow, thankfully they made drinks fast. This was our first time here. We had a winter latte and ice coffee float. They were both so good! Winter latte was very rich and creamy(I hated myself only got a smaller size!) Ice coffee float is sweet and fruity, more so like a dessert. They were both delicious, we love them so much!

This has been one of my favorite coffee shops in LA. I've enjoyed both a cappuccino and the New Orleans. I love that the service is friendly and super quick, making it easy to swing by before work. My only compliant is the extra charge for an alternative milk. I've seen a lot of LA coffee shops charging of $.75-$1.00 for oat milk. I don't get the extra charge.

We were staying in Los Feliz and stopped in. There was a parking lot a couple of doors down with dedicated spots. The interior was super cute, almost art gallery-esque. White walls, wood floors, minimalist. I ordered a Latte and my husband got an Americano. It was a Saturday afternoon, so they were a little busy. Loved the shop, but took one star off because I requested almond milk in my latte, and they accidentally put cow's milk. They were happy to remake though!

Yelp challenge 2018 15/100. (I'm lagging, I know) So glad that they decided to drop anchor in the Hipster Land of Los Feliz. Yeah, there's a Starbucks Reserve up the street and Home and the Alcove below. All good. This is a funky stretch. You have a barber shop at the top, a kids clothing store The Bottle and a French themed restaurant that's been there Forevs. Which I never see anyone eating at. Ever. And then a liquor store. One that I may have frequented from time to time in days of yore. But only to acquire liquid mirth to accompany my consumption at Yuca's Hut with a well placed burrito. I digress. This is a small space. Price points are high. Product is good. But for the love of coffee, can you hook us up with wi-fi!!!!. That's the devil in the deal that needs to change. Employees are good at what they do no doubt. And, yeah you have the obligatory Avo toast...you and everyone else who has an avocado and a piece of bread. How about more food choices?? Just because you're small doesn't mean you can't be mighty. Rise up.

This is my second time trying Blue Bottle and I absolutely loved it! The first time I went, it was the most mediocre cup of coffee I've ever had. This time, I got my normal latte....but with OAT MILK. I've never seen any coffee shop offer OAT milk before, but HOLY HOLY BABY JESUS IT WAS SO GOOD!!!!!!!!!! The milk was really thick, so the latte felt more substantial. It left a strong milky aftertaste in your mouth, which sounds bad but I mean it in the best way. There is a really cute outdoor seating patio where dogs are allowed. FYI GREAT FOR PHOTOS!!!!

Blue bottle is looks cute and airy. Centrally located at the foothills of Griffith Park acceso the street from Albertsons a few doors down from Lassen's. There are a few two top tables outside as a bar type counter along the wall. There is alternative rock music and the place has the scent of freshly brewed coffee. There is no line usually, which is awesome because the coffee shop across the street can be very busy, so this is a good alternative if you don't want to wait in line there. The method for a cup of coffe here is the pour over method, it is expensive. About $4.00 USD or €3.51. And they are poured only to about 75% of the cup, see photo. So you will need two of these large coffees if you want to get through the morning. They do have some pastries/food items which I have never tried. Usually there is street parking in the early mornings and if you arrive early enough you may get to park in the Yucas Tacos parking lot only if it's closed, you will be towed otherwise. The coffee shop closes at 5:00pm.

I've seen Blue Bottle around but dismissed it as a "chain," and an expensive one at that. But today I happened to be right near it when I had the desire for iced coffee. A peek at their menu offerings suggests a palate more refined than I was expecting. Lots of details regarding the different brews, and then the New Orleans iced coffee caught my eye. I love chicory! A quick look at the non-dairy options - Oatly oat milk for no extra charge?! Oh well HELLO, come to ME. It was super smooth, super creamy iced coffee, some of the best I've ever had. I loved the lack of plastic, though I sure hope they offer straws to those who need them. It's a lot to ask of people with disabilities to constantly carry around clean metal straws in case the urge for a cold beverage comes up. Because Oatly is my faaaaavorite oat milk, Blue Bottle will absolutely be in my coffee rotation.

Simply the best coffee in town! Love their minimal design! Always a lot of light and air! And their mugs are perfect)

first why was my iced coffee given to me in a hot coffee cup because after 5 min my coffee cup is soggy one that turned me off right there two don't ask about their sugar options because they only have one serious changes need to be made before i return

Coffee is decent but the staff here is so unfriendly it's off putting. There are so many coffee places to chose from that have better coffee and friendly staff - we won't be back.

I am updating my original 4-Star review to a 5-star one for their elegant approach and service! First time I tried Blue Bottle was 4 years ago in San Francisco and was pleasantly surprised at the quality of their coffee. Since then, Blue Bottle opened several coffee shops here in LA. This is the newest of their locations. It's quite small and doesn't carry some savory bites (e.g. salmon tartine) that their downtown LA location on Broadway St carries. Their coffee however is great. Try their New Orleans style chicory cold coffee if you are in the mood for something different or their delicious non-sugary mocha. They have great small desserts, yogurt, and tea as well.

All Blue Bottles are the same to me: equally good. That's probably also because I always get New Orleans. I should really try something different next time. As per most trendy coffee shops, it's clean, friendly, and pricier. This Blue Bottle is a little smaller than most and features a cute, tiny patio in the back. Again, as this Blue Bottle is small, don't bring your desktop to do work here. Simply enjoy a cup of coffee and soak in the typical LA frenzy and sunshine. Also, the lighting is nice here if you want to add another photo or twelve to your instagram. At this point though, with all the Blue Bottles popping up all over the place, the New Orleans just doesn't seem as special anymore... as I continue to order them religiously whenever I go to any Blue Bottle.
