Blue Bottle Coffee

Blue Bottle Coffee offers great-tasting brews with a rich, smooth flavor. Staff are friendly and welcoming, and snacks are available to pair with your drink. Prices are on the higher side compared to other cafes, but the quality makes it worth a visit.

This cafe is located in the basement of Rockefeller plaza. Many other restaurants are there as well, so it should be easy to locate this cafe. We ordered hot chocolate and cappuccino, nothing fancy. Hot chocolate was on the sweeter side and cappuccino was a bit strong for me. The plain croissant was good and flaky. The staff is quite friendly and kind. I would like to try their iced coffees next time. Hopefully next time I can tell them not to make it too strong.

We needed a break, a breath of cool air… and that’s how we found Blue Bottle Coffee. As soon as we stepped in, it felt like a peaceful oasis — clean, bright, and air-conditioned (thank goodness!). We ordered two coffees, and they were exactly what we needed: bold, rich, and full of flavor. You can tell they care about their craft here. What I really loved was sitting by the big windows, sipping our drinks and watching the city go by — people rushing under the sun, tall buildings reflecting light. Maybe its city area and everyone who are getting coffee here are rushing but.. getting a pre brewed coffee and poured right infront of me with milk added into it just does not sit with me for paying such a high price?? But the staff were great i did say.

The drinks and pastries/sandwiches were great. We got a mocha, cold brew, plain croissant, and the breakfast sandwich. All of it was excelent! The service was fantastic, super kind and fast with preparing our order. All around a great experience. The public restrooms are right next to the cafe, so it is a great all around pit stop when you are in the area.

This is the nearest Blue Bottle Coffee from Rockefeller Center as they are located in Rockefeller Plaza. This local coffee shop serves variant of Espresso, New Orleans - Style Coffee, Coffee, Tea, Chocolate, and some foods that are suitable for breakfast or snack. They also provide freshly brewed coffee beans and come merchandises. The dine in area isn't that big, but once we got seated, it feels quite comfortable here. I tried their Cold Brew Single Origin 12 oz for $6. A cup of cold brew with abundant ice cubes. It's a refreshing coffee that isn't bitter and sour.

We ordered a pour over and a cappuccino. My cappuccino tasted like an ash tray. My husband tasted it and agreed it tasted and smelled burnt. We asked if I could get something different and they said they wanted to remake it. That was nice, but the second one tasted just as awful. Friendly service, but it doesn’t make up for the cappuccino flavor. I will say the pour over tasted a little better.

They have one of the best coffee. Forget about Starbucks. Give it a try. It’s very good. Also a very polished interior, smooth and minimalistic. Will be back for sure to take more photos.
