Blue Bottle Coffee

Waited by the store Saturday morning and asked of I can order a few minutes before opening because I start my shift next door at the same time. The lady working 2/17/24 was very rude and had little patience or empathy. Hope I didn't ruin her day by asking for such a lofty request.

Coffee is so delicious.They are rushing to take order and price is little bit too much.

Disappointed with the almond latte this morning. After years of going to blue bottle, this is the first time there was no latter art and the cup was not even filled

Whoever was working on the morning of May 29th, with the colored hair was ridiculously rude to some customers in front of me today. A customer was asking how long until they open (it was past 5:30) and seems like whoever the person was didn’t know when they’d be able to start selling coffee. Lady in front of me said she needed to catch a train and the worker started yelling at the customer as she was walking away iirc. There were multiple customers in line. Wild.

The coffee is still great but the service at this location is TERRIBLE. I've gotten maybe one friendly staff member but the rest are just straight up rude

I must say I am glad to see some places opening in the Moynihan Hall. Coffee certainly in the morning may be one of the most important. Blue Bottle’s coffee was fine albeit weak. I did like that the drip offers an au lait which is a nice touch. My pasty was surprising good and fresh. Staff were friendly.

Coffee tasted great! Service was awesome. Only critique is that I was charged 4.50 for a single espresso, I thought it would be a double! Regardless, worth it. Thanks Blue Bottle staff!

Blue Bottle Coffee Moynihan Train Station is very small with slow service. There's a lot of travelers trying to grab a quick coffee and it's anything but quick. I got a look at the pastries and they looked fresh and inviting. With no place to sit I decided to skip coffee in Moynihan Train Station and hit the door once again..... I returned another morning and there weren't any customers. The food court is still not open for a seating option. The other seating areas are for passengers only and are cordoned off. I'll try another time.

I got a hot chocolate at this place and it was bad. I did not go into the shop as my family went in for me, so I'm not sure of the service or ambiance. But the drink just didn't taste good. I think they used dark chocolate. I also had a brownie and it was ok/not that good.

It had coffee. And I wanted coffee. I tried the NoHo iced spiced coffee. It was okay. Not that sweet which I liked but also not quite my cup of coffee.... Staff were nice and efficient. The location was a kiosk in Moynihan train hall.

This Blue Bottle Coffee is located in the brand new Moynihan Train station. Besides Starbucks it's the only other spot open in here right now to get your caffeine fix. It's more like a kiosk/booth with a decent amount of hot and cold coffee options. Nice staff and the booth is very Covid safe with plastic partitions all around. I had a hot cup of Caffe Latte to walk around with and explore the new station. It was delicious. They also have cold brews, teas, espresso, ans sparkling drinks. Also some pastries to nosh on. Prices seemed reasonable for what it is and where it is.

This place is usually less crowded than the Starbucks in the same station and has comparable products and pricing. I actually think they may be a bit better to be honest. It's a kiosk in a loud bustling train station so they try to be fast paced but it can get a bit backed up in the mornings. I have not tried any of their pastries yet to be able to give feedback on them but I will next go around.

Stopped by for an expresso, no expresso. Hopefully next time. Very disappointed. The need to do better, nobody likes a place where the staff stops working or making items before closing time. Not cool.

Overrated and overpriced. Latte was just not that good. A little bitter. So many places make it better. And chocolate croissant was very large and nice looking but actually kind of hard, not flaky enough and had barely any chocolate in it. Just one little tiny area had a super tiny bit of chocolate. Very disappointing. I wouldn't go back here unless there was nothing else around. I'd honestly go to Starbucks first.

December 2021 - COVID Review: I heard good things about Blue Bottle Coffee so I opted to try this instead of getting my usual Starbucks when I saw the stand at the train station. I'm not sure if it's because it's located inside Moynihan Train Station or if their prices are usually this steep, but we paid about $6-$7 per coffee and we didn't even have different sizes to choose from. My husband got a regular iced latte and I got the iced shakerato since I was intrigued. My drink definitely tasted good but I was disappointed in the size compared to the price. But I guess the price goes towards taste and quality? The staff were really nice though and I maybe would give it another chance if I saw it outside of the train station.

Good coffee, but the service was ridiculously slow. There was no line when I arrived, four people we're working there, and it still took over 10 minutes to get a cappuccino. On top of all of this the staff was rude and unprofessional. Not a single person thanked me for my purchase, and I had to sit there listening to their gossip about someone one of them didn't like. It was a terrible experience.

Service was quick and to the point, but felt a little on the rude side. However the coffee is good. I got the new orleans iced coffee with oat milk and it was very good!

def on the pricier side for coffee but the iced new orleans is worth it !! blue bottle is one of the only places i'll buy coffee from despite having an espresso machine at work. this location is also usually very fast if there isn't a line.

Finally found a place that serves real hot chocolate 10/10. Not too sweet or watery at all. Staff was really friendly! And they all wore masks properly, which I really appreciated (can't say that for the bagel place next door).

I found this cute Blue Bottle Coffee inside Penn Station. I got a cup of drip coffee and two packages of coffee bean for friends. The environment is clean and staff is super friendly. Their coffee smells and tastes great!

Why is it so good Best mocha EVER. I've had blue bottle 3 times, and their mocha is my absolute favorite. I say this with full confidence, and I have had a lot of different cafes takes on mochas. Mocha is made with a vegan chocolate ganache, I ordered mine with almond milk. They use (califia farms barista blends line). Milk texture was absolutely perfect, silky smooth and perfect microfoam. Their chocolate is not too sweet which I love, really allows you to still taste the espresso as well as the dark and rich flavors in the dark chocolate. I wish I could have savored this drink more, can't wait for my next one.

Busy since it's at Moynihan Hall. Service is decent. But my croissant was so dry and burnt ($6). Beware.

This is usually my favorite place to go to but the night staff always leave my coffee Burnt and flavorless. This happened twice and the first time I asked if they can remake it. The morning staff does a excellent job. Not only is the night staff not pleasant but they honestly make me never want to purchase from that location. I get the Shakerato everyday without fail, I know how it should taste. The first time it was made after 5pm it was chunky and bitter, when they remade it? it was worse and today it was no better. BEWARE OF GOING AFTER 5pm!!!!!!

If you like black coffee or cold brew/espresso, this spot is delicious. It's not over fussy, but the beans are roasted to perfection. I even take their bottled cold brew to keep at home. It's delicious and it's not too bitter.

Awesome coffee, city prices obviously. Small cups, wish they were a tad larger than they are currently for the price.
