I thought, ordering burger from local restaurant will be better than fast food franchise but after tasting food. I was a bit disappointed. I order out so I will only talk about taste of food. I got Double Cheeseburger, Double hamburger, Beer butter onion rings and fries. All food I got the onion rings was the best. Cheeseburger was okay but I wasn't crazy about fries. Package is good, paper bag with branding screen on. Delivery was on time.

Ordered a double cheeseburger for pickup. It was ready when I arrived at the store. Pretty good burger, similar to Shake Shack. No complaints, I’d order from here again for lunch. Shop is pretty small inside but there are seats if you wanted to eat there.

Simple works! In this case it has grown to be one of my absolute favorite burger places in NYC, mostly because of the straight up veggie burger. It's fantastic! I have yet to find any other place that has a veggie burger this delicious. Even hardcore meat eaters would enjoy this! Staff is always incredibly nice and their music choices are unparalled. Just sheer uncomplicated brilliance. <3

I've been here a few times and I've never been disappointed. The atmosphere is drab, but that's not why I come this Blue Collar location. The burgers are rich with flavor as are the ingredients as you can taste how fresh they are when biting into their off the grill cheeseburger.

I heard this place had good burgers, so I ventured into Brooklyn to find out. It's a ten-minute walk from the L, but not too hard to reach. The place has a few seats and a selection of shakes, beers, and burgers. I got a cookies & cream shake and a burger, which they brought out after a few minutes. The burger had good flavor, perhaps a bit greasy. The shake was solid too. It's not the best place for burgers, but a nice option.

Classic hole in the wall burger joint. Retro styling, counter service, cheap prices but very good quality food. Honestly very impressed by flavor and quality of this burger at the same price as mass produced fast food chains. Good for a quick lunch or late night bite, open all day 11a-Midnight. Prompt and professional service, will return.

I’ll start by saying this, when they can manage to get the order right, the food is good. That said, I can’t tell you how many times my very simple order has been messed up. Today may be the last one for me. I asked for a plain cheeseburger with just the special sauce and lettuce. This is what I opened when I got home… they gave me a burger with no bun. The cheese came off because it was stuck to the wrapper. Oh and this was $10 - no sides, no drinks, just a bunless burger. Check your food before leaving and don’t do delivery. It takes too long and they will get it wrong.

Really delicious, inexpensive hamburgers, very much comparable to in n’ out! Short menu with only the necessary stuff!

The vibes are always so chill in here I've came twice first the chicken tender burger was so big and juicy there regular cheese burger is delicious and the portion size of the fry's is what really makes it a bang for your buck 5/5 recommend

Didn't do it for me. 6/10 fries, probably the best part. Their house sauce was super mid as well. Nice workers, not super clean though. Annoying clientele too can't even lie. Meh/meh

Meet Jenna even though she's very polite/ camera shy and explains the menu works/how would you like your burger to be served I had the combo with meat because there's 2 different combos choices for $14.99 which I'm glad and surprised its served with fresh onions,lettuce,tomatoes and the seasonings on the fries. Inside is small but not too small one thing for sure is that they have the AC on blast which makes you feel chilly instant for sure if you're into blasting your Ac like that... Lols but we did enjoy our food in the car since we had already told its to go so until next time Blue collar! Thank you!

Nice little burger place in the neighborhood. I got a veggie burger with everything on it (pickles, onions, tomatoes) and it was delicious. I just wish they made the veggie burger a part of the fries and a soda combo. Other than that service was fast and my order was ready in about 5 minutes.

We ordered from here to work. I had the cheese burger and went with the chef suggestion to add bacon. The chef knows best. The burger was cooked to my liking even made it to the delivery spot still hot and perfect. I had all the lettuce, tomatoes, and onions placed on their perfect golden potato bun. The burger was not greasy at all. It was amazing. I do have one minor suggestion: You can add a little more of your "special sauce" to the bun. I hardly tasted it. My buddy was telling me when he orders the onion rings he gets the side of "special sauce" and it's definitely good. I ordered a side of fries which were great considering we had it delivered in the pouring rain to work. I have to admit it was the perfect sized cheese burger and all the ingredients were fresh. My buddy had just the burger and reported should have ordered the fries as a side. The other person in the room order cheese fries. She said they were the best cheese fries she ever had. The other person ordered a burger and said he was happy that we now have a go to spot for burgers instead of the diner. The price was right and all was great.

The restaurant was supposed to close around 12 I want to say and we were being told it was closing at 11! The door said a different time and so did online so I'm not sure if they forgot to change it or not. But the girl working at the register taking my order seemed as if she was bothered and annoyed that I was there. The food was mid, and way too expensive. I could've gotten the same thing from a halal cart and it would've tasted better. The inside was alright it was clean but nothing specifically stood out about the ambiance.

So glad I found this spot sort of close to where I work. It doesn't really look like a food spot from the outside but it is! I had to come back twice in one week I enjoyed a single cheese burger with their FRIES OMG, the crunch?! So good & seasoned of course I got cheese on the side, because why not?! I'll be back again lol

Best burger place in the neighborhood. Just trust me on this. Great tater tots and some of the best onion rings I've ever had. Fabulous milkshakes too. Again, just trust me on this if you like GOOD burgers and fries/tots/rings. Yum! Yum! Yum!

Save your money in go elsewhere.. how this place is in business is beyond me.. The burgers are awful..I've definitely had McDonald's burgers way better then this. It was just nasty. You could taste the grill the burger tasted like black if black had a flavor. You know how they say don't have any regrets in life.. But truly I tell you this is one regret I have. Never ever again. Not even if I was starving and it was the last restaurant open! Employees was cool. The fries $5 such a joke.. they taste like fake low buget fries. $15 for the meal. And it looks like it taste.. Bad.. If you read this and you still come here.. You've been warned

Really solid burgers! I ordered from them the other day and was pleasantly surprised. Unlike most places, the burger arrived intact and not soggy. The taste really reminded me of in-n-out, with one exception, the fries were wonderful! Will definitely be ordering again!

Comically small, waited for it and it was still cold immediately after getting it? I'm good.

The burger and fries were perfectly seasoned and cooked to perfection. The fries reminded me of McDonald's fries but were a lot crispier and tastier. Service was pretty standard for a fast casual restaurant, but the decor they used fit the restaurant perfectly!

As close to In N Out Burger as you'll find on the East Coast. Very solid fast food burger. Fries are fine. Milkshakes are a little more milk than they should be. Tasty and cheap. Delivery quality can be hot or miss but most fast food burgers lose a lot when they have 30-40 minutes to cool down.

I feel like I was catfished by the photos on these reviews. I ordered a cheeseburger, hot dog and onion rings. Cheese burger cost $9 and the patty was as flat as a McDonalds hamburger! WTF are you charging $9/burger for??? Burger meat was as thin as deli ham. NOT worth the money they charge.

Good average burger - I still think Shake Shack is better. Funny though, we actually got this along with the Peter Luger Burger to compare and honestly I'd much rather buy this burger based on the price & the toppings. However you can see how thin and sad looking the beef patty of this burger is...

The cashier/server was really friendly and the burger tasted okay. But the size, as others have complained about, is a little ridiculous. Got a double cheeseburger for $9 and got some fries on the side for another $5. These prices are expected in this area but at 7 cm per patty, this is unacceptable. People want to eat and feel full. You're a burger joint titled "Blue collar" so either offer these slider size burgers at "blue-collar" prices or provide bigger patties.

Epically bad. The burgers ($8.95) are dry and flavorless, their sides, with onion rings ($4.95) are industrial grade quality, and their sauces ($1) taste like nothing but vinegar. I had BC back when they first opened on Havemeyer, it wasn't this bad. They just don't care anymore. Also the service is pretty bad, asked to sub the fries for onion rings (which were arguably the worst of my order) for fries and got a flat out "nah". Avoid unless desperate.

Order: Double Cheeseburger (plain) w/ jalapeños In a nutshell. Prices are high. But i thought let me not get too hasty. Calling something expensive is relative to the taste. Wait time is long. I was going to tell him I never ordered fries. Wrong. That small bag was my burger. Portions are way too small for the price point and wait time. I told myself this better be a dam good burger. ...*munch munch* I will not be coming back here.

Don't bother writing any special instructions when ordering online because they'll just ignore them. I ordered 2 burgers, wrote "NO KETCHUP PACKS" for both. Ordered a shake, wrote "NO STRAW". I even called right after I ordered to make sure. Actual quote from Anthony, "I got you." Guess what I got? I called back and was like WTF. Dude said, "oh putting ketchup in is mandatory." ARE YOU KIDDING ME. What happened to I GOT YOU? Then he tried to belittle my NO STRAW request. Man's apparently a troglodyte that doesn't care for turtles.

Nice burgers, seating isn't comfortable though, I've always done take out, they pretty much have one of the best fries apart from the time when I ordered a tots and fries and I discovered I got tots and no fries :/

Wow! This place is exactly what Im looking for when I crave a burger and fries!! The interior is cool and the burger was a nicely cooked thin patty with fresh lettuce and tomato. The fries were really good and tasted slightly oniony from the onion rings I assume. Their chocolate and strawberry milkshakes were really good as well. They have a soda fountain and two chairs outside for dining during covid-19. I will probably get pickup here again. I noticed they also have cold brew and breakfast sandwiches which is cool. My girlfriend got a veggie which apparently was good.

This place is a stones throw from my apartment. Love how close it is. I got the cheeseburger and an order of French fries. Totaled with a fountain soda and it was around $15. The cheeseburger is good! It's thin styled and i agree with other reviewers that it has a shake shack style to it. I didn't think it was out of this world in flavor but it got the job done. The French fries were a highlight for me. They came in a big bag and were very tasty. The restaurant is clean and decorated to be "blue collared" with adornments of old oil cans and vintage photos on the walls.

Great classic burger joint! It's a small but super friendly and fast. The burgers, fries, and shakes are the simple classic flavors I always crave when I want a burger!

Shake Shack competitor! I'm a huge fan of Shake Shack burgers and fries, but decided to try this spot for the first time to see how they compare. The double cheeseburger was MASSIVE and tasted amazing. The buns were my favorite part of the burger, where it was nicely toasted and soft which complemented the burger nicely. The fries were pretty good, it actually tasted a little bit like McDonald's fries which is a good thing! I'll be back again. It's going to be hard to choose between Shake Shack or Blue Collar now!

First time trying Blue Collar was today and I have mixed feelings. I ordered the regular cheeseburger and although the taste was actually good, I felt like I was eating a mcdonalds burger. I mean a mcdonalds burger 10x better and with real ingredients, but it just had that mcdonalds "feel"... I'm not sure how to describe it. it even looks like a mcdonalds burger (see pic attached). Anyways the taste was good. The burger had no special sauce or anything particular about it, it was just a plain regular cheeseburger. The size was kind of small but they compensate with a huge bag of fries (they actually charge a lot for said fries). The price of the burger is directly proportional to the size of the burger, so I there's that. But back to the fries, they ALSO tasted like mcdonalds fries. The only bad experience I had tonight was that I ordered the food through Seamless, and it was a complete waste of our time. Placed the order at 9:00 and by 9:50 we were getting in our car to pick up our order after we received the 4th "delayed" text saying that the order will be ready between 10:30-10:40. This isn't the restaurants fault, but I had to bring it up either way. Blue Collar should choose another delivery company that actually delivers the orders to people within a reasonable time frame; not 1 hour and 40 minutes after you have placed an order. Now when we arrived to pick up the order, the guy said that they remade the burgers for us which is great. Gold star for that. The fries were cold and hard, but they remade the burgers and we appreciate it. To conclude, would I recommend this place? Yes but with a disclaimer that includes: eat there or pick it up, don't expect huge-over-the-top burgers, and just think of the burgers as a 10x better mcdonalds burger.

Ordered the double cheese burger during quarantine. Have to say... delicious delicious burger!! Very impressed. Could've been hotter but probably just me cause I love piping hot food. Will definitely order again

Controversial opinion: Blue Collar is one of the best burger joints in NYC. No really, I've had Shake Shack and all of the others and I'm very very lucky BC is in Williamsburg because it's been such a comfort throughout lockdown (at the expense of my waistline). I've walked b a bunch but actually have never sat down and eaten... not that that's really an option anymore. My go-to is the double cheeseburger stack ($9) with a side of fries ($5). The burgers are always cooked perfectly and the ingredients on top are always fresh and cold to offset the heat. The fries are shoestring and sometimes very salty, but damn, they're good. My boyfriend is a big fan of the tater tots with cheese ($6). It's not the cheapest meal in the neighborhood, but if there's anything that the last six months have taught, it's to wear a damn mask and just order the food. We've been ordering delivery from BC for about 8-9 months and it's consistently very good. If there's ever anything missing from our order, they always make it right. Now that I'm trying to eat a little bit more healthily, I don't order as frequently, but cheat day.... it's coming.

Classic burgers and tenders. Can't go wrong. Lots of sauce options for people that like to dip. I do the tots and fries combo and always add bacon. I also always add a Nutella shake to snack on for a few days.

Good burger with good prices. The meat is not the most amazing meat ever, but I like that the burger feels sort of healthy with the fresh veggies. Cheese fries were amazing!!!!.

We love Blue Collar! We've ordered it four times in less than a week during the quarantine, so that's saying something. The burgers are delicious, fresh and flavorful and the chicken fingers are restaurant-quality. Whenever we have a burger craving, this is our go-to.

I really love the food here, it's always amazing and so are the shakes but I found a hair in my shake. I was excited and looking forward to their shake and of course as I'm enjoying and finishing the shake I find a hair and I instantly became grossed out. I only hope that whoever's head it came from was clean. I love blue collar so its hard to leave a complaint....hopefully that wont happen again...

My partner and I order pretty often from this place. Food is good and delivery is usually ok. Last night, however, we ordered dinner and the delivery guy never bother to ring the bell. He try to contact us through text message but unfortunately we are not the type of people that are always on their phones. ( which seems is now a requirement) Long story short, our order was never delivered and neither Blue Collar or Seamless were able to help us. We ended up with no dinner and a charge in our credit card for something we never received.Terrible customer service. Very unlikely we will ever order again from this place. What a shame, Blue Collar!

I was walking around Williamsburg and stumbled upon this place. Its a little hole in the wall, but looked interesting so I stopped in. The menu looked fine so I decided to stay and have some lunch. Ordered a basic burger with fries and a drink. I placed my order, paid with my credit card and sat and waited. Now, the place was empty. I did place a tip on the card before I was served. Mistake. When my food was ready, which happened in decent time, the guy at the counter yelled to me to come and get it. So I walk up and get it. As I'm walking back to my table I'm thinking just what I was tipping for. The place was empty, I was sitting 3 whole steps from the counter, and the guy couldn't be bothered to provide a tiny bit of service? Oh well, such is life. The burger was just ok. It wasn't bad, but not a great culinary experience. It was warm, not hot. The burger itself was on the small side. It fell short quality wise from a 5 Guys or Shake Shack burger. The fries, however, were fantastic. I got a very nice order, falling out of the bag. They were hot and fresh tasting, far superior to the burger. When I was done, I cleaned my table & threw out the scraps left behind. I began to walk out, expecting the guy to say something like thank you. Didn't happen. So I turn around and say, "Take care." The guy had his face in his phone and mumbled something, never looking up. That's not the way to get someone to make a return trip.

Third party delivery services are tough. We had a snafu where the wrong food was delivered. Anthony at Blue Collar not only fixed the issue but he me made the situation right. We are all trying our best and extra effort should be rewarded. Thank you Anthony for your commitment to your customers.

Value: 7/10 Experience: 7/10 Taste: 7/10 Fresh burger that tasted just "good". Closer so a 3.5 stars than 4 IMO. Value: I got the hamburger for $4.75. The burger was definitely a lighter burger and one probably isn't enough to fill you up. Think the price is fair though. Taste: The patty was juicy but a bit bland. The toppings and bun were super fresh though. The burger did not taste like it had been sitting around for a while and definitely was made when I ordered it. Taste: Fresh and light. The ingredients match well and each bite is balanced. The patty also doesn't slide out of the buns. I needed some ketchup for flavor but overall, it was a good burger.

Came in at 11:40 on a Friday and was told they were closed. Their signed said open and so did everything online. Don't advertise being open if you're not.

Last night, my girlfriend and I waited 30mins for our order, but that wasn't even the worst part. We ordered one order of chili fries and 2 hamburgers, and after 30minutes we only go a hamburger and fries. We were missing the chili on the fries and one other burger. We told the cashier and they made us wait an other 20 minutes for the burger and chili. By this time the other food we got got was saggy and cold. The worst thing was 3-4 groups came after and the kitchen rushed their order before addressing us. We asked for a refund and the cashier was nice enough to give us one. They did take the food back. Awful experience, they definitely need to make some changes.

It was meh. The service was lovely, with the right amount of hipster ambivalence. The food (fries with chili cheese sauces) and a hotdog with chili was good....ish. However, I hope that next time I remember to get the cheese sauce on top. It looked slightly unappealing like a blob despite how good it tasted. I think that next time I will have the burger because my friend's dish was better....burger envy.

Amazing! I ordered this for lunch via Postmates. The presentation & taste are amazing. I'll 100% be ordering from here again. Great price too

Blue Collar is a totally solid neighborhood burger joint. No, their burgers are not as good as Shake Shack's (less seasoned, cooked well done) but hey, there's no Shake Shack here. The toppings are fresh, the meat is juicy, and definitely get the fries because they give you about a bajillion of them! Staff has been really nice every time although sometimes, the food takes a bit. Chicken sandwich is pretty good too. All in all, if you're craving a burger and fries, Blue Collar won't disappoint you.

2 days in a row ordered from here through delivery and got undercooked bacon although the burger was amazing as well as milkshakes

Horrible service, never order from here. Placed an order and once I received it, not only was it missing food(half the order), but all the sauces had opened in the bag covering what I actually had received. Once I placed a call back, no apology was offered. "Customer Service" person simply hung up as I was trying to explain what happened. Honestly, in times like these politeness is key. Never order from here...there is better food in Williamsburg.

I love their oreo milkshake ! It's sooo good! they are super generous with the Oreos :) you guys should try a vegan shake I would buy one every other day.. haven't tried anything else but if their milk shakes are this good I can imagine the food

I'm honestly surprised I haven't written a review for blue collar yet. We order from here 1, maybe two times a week. It is delicious every single time. My only complaints are they increased the prices and recently changed the type of chicken tenders they use. The new ones are good but the ones they used to use were incredible. Super crispy and delicious. I will always continue to order from Blue Collar. Soo good, easy to order and the delivery is incredibly fast! You can always depend on a fast delivery practically every time!
