Blue Corn Harvest Bar & Grill Cedar Park

This was a nice diner / bar combo. I’d heard of the Blue Corn a few times before but, for whatever reason, never went. Today my wife and I decided to go. We got in right away, and our server stopped by quickly after. He not only was pleasant, but gave us the specials and his recommendations too. Nice. My Wife got the steak eggs Benedict and I got the western omelet. Both were super tasty and were portioned about right. I’d come again. The atmosphere is pleasant and the staff are all super friendly.

We had a fantastic dinner at Blue Corn Harvest Bar & Grill in Cedar Park! The beef fajitas were full of flavor and perfectly cooked, and the ribeye steak was juicy and delicious — definitely one of the best we’ve had around here. 🥩🌮 A special thanks to our server and all the staff — everyone was so friendly, attentive, and made us feel genuinely welcome. The patio area is really nice too — relaxed atmosphere, great setup, and perfect for enjoying a good meal. There are also so many specialties on the menu that look amazing, and we’re already planning to come back to try more. Highly recommend this place! 👏👏

The service was absolutely amazing! Our waiter was an older gentleman and he really made the visit worth it. The bar drinks, the complimentary corn bread, and the chips and dip were all good; however, the entrees were disappointing. Everything was extremely cold, including the skillet, which for the price and the wait it just wasn’t worth it. The only good entree was the jerk chicken salad 10/10 recommend that.

Great happy hour with half price appetizers and dollar off many drinks. I loved the blue corn margarita and tacitos, and I look forward to trying more on their menu. The restaurant has a large covered wooden patio in front a bar with stools and two dining rooms of tables. It shares a large free parking lot with adjacent businesses in the same strip.

Second time here and the manager and team has set such a high standard. The food is great, the flavors are awesome, and the staff is really friendly, like seriously they do a great job hiring really sweet people. Check out the Bloody Mary bar (pictured) and their seasonal specials.

The food here is ….. like what white ppl’s version of Mexican food tastes like .. idk WHAT is going on at BCH but it’s definitely NOT flavors or seasoning . Everything was bland . From the $3 chips n salsa ( yes they charge you for salsa … ) to the pineapple shrimp tacos I had . The sauce itself was good but the green peppers on top were dry and nasty … the rice bland , the black beans bland … just so bland all around I truly was so disappointed as I wanted to try this place for awhile . I just don’t understand… I’ve never had to use salt and pepper at a Mexican restaurant in my life ! The waitress was fine but she was so awkward and clearly was annoyed we didn’t get apps or drinks ( it was 5pm like I’m good on alcohol thanks ) Place was crowded with families and grandmas . Annoying loud families w babies and the staff making the hugest deal out of a baby that wasn’t even cute . Not sorry . Anyway I didn’t see one brown person in the entire establishment and that should have told me everything I needed to know about the food . Only good thing about this place : the bar looked inviting and warm . Should have sat there . I posted photos below which low key look delicious now that I’m looking at them again but the taste was completely ABYSMAL .

Had a really good meal tonight with my girlfriends! The crispy pork enchiladas had so much flavor. The inside atmosphere is kind of boring but it was really clean, so that matters more to me. Outstanding customer service and delicious food, we didn’t have to wait long for food to come out. I’ve been to the Georgetown location but not this one yet, I’m glad we dined here tonight, definitely will be coming back!

We chose this place at random, and we are so glad we did. So special and so delicious. The service was outstanding and the Margaritas were strong but good! We want to come back and try several things on their menu.

I'm so full. But our server Brianna brought out our food so fast and kept filling our cups and gave really good advice on appetizers and I normally don't order appetizers. Our server must have used some sort of magic and made me believe I had a good time with my wife. How dare that server girl... jk Thank you Brianna S. This evening was just perfect for my wife and I. If anyone ever comes in for the first time ever, ask for Brianna S. You won't be let down.

Yummm! Delicious food and so much of it. Had to take half my seafood enchilada home! Great house marg, and I loooved the roasted pineapple salsa and guac. We had a couple different servers and both treated my dog like royalty. They were both excellent to the rest of us as well. From a couple suggestions they made and unfortunately couldn't follow through on, I got the feeling that management needs to lighten up big time. Our waitress had a great idea about mixing a couple cocktails together as well as wanting to spoil my pup extra, but was sadly shut down on both after asking. It was no big deal to us that she couldn't deliver, her sweet thought was certainly there, but it's a bummer that management said no to such simple things. Loosen the stick in your arse and listen to your employees! We're looking forward to trying the other locations next time we're in the area.

I had the pleasure of stopping in for dinner tonight. I haven't been here in over 10 years. The food is still as delicious as ever. They have so many tasty options, everything tastes homemade like your family made it for you. Tonight I enjoyed the blue corn, crusted salmon With crab and tomato relish and a delicious Verde sauce. Nice portion of cheesy mashed potatoes and sautéed vegetables to accompany. Also tried a pomegranate basil martini which was not too sweet and served as my dessert as well. :-) wonderful (Service) and I recommend sitting on the patio for nice ambience.

One of the best lunch experiences we've had for a while. Shout out to fellow Yelper Shannon G. for the review that led us here! Everything we had was really tasty, menu has some unique takes on some standard item, that we haven't run across before. All the items were really fresh, well presented, and came out quickly (but not too quickly). Hop Queen opted for their very tasty and good value house margarita, and they had a good IPA from Pinthouse on tap. The tortilla soup had tons of flavour, and generous portions of chicken. Very tasty. I had the 512 Crispy Pork enchiladas, and the HQ had Chicken fried chicken. Everything was very good and filling. Had to get a doggie bag, very generous portions. Service was above and beyond, our server Zoe was great, friendly and personable, and added to our enjoyable experience. The manager, Esau, came by to check on us during the meal, and we also saw him hustling around, greeting people, carrying orders out, in general being switched on and ensuring his place was humming along. Very impressive from all the employees we observed! Outdoor seating was also available, and we saw they accommodated a large party of 15-20 back in one of their banquet rooms.

We love coming to blue corn Harvest! Everytime we come we have great experience with food and the wait staff. Tessa whom was our server was very sweet and accommodating!! We will certainly be coming back.

The manager sat me and was very friendly. As a first time diner, it was nice that he gave me recommendations. My server Randy was friendly and helped me chose between two items. We made the right choice! The Fry Shrimp Po Boy was overflowing with well-seasoned shrimp on a nicely grilled hoagie roll. The slaw was very flavorful and perfect with the shrimp. The habanero aioli added a nice kick to round out the sandwich. It was all together a terrific sandwich. The corn bread muffins came warm and soft. Finally, my sangria was delightful. Overall, it was a very nice dining experience. I will be back.

Blue Corn remains among our favorite restraunts in the area regardless of the location. The farm to table offerings are plentiful and always very tasty. My favorites are the quesadillas, nachos and chicken fried chicken. My SO enjoys the burrito, enchilada and meatloaf. I love love love their trout but it doesn't make it to the menu very often. The staff are pleasant and keep an eye on everyone which is always nice. They are prompt and bring starters of cornbread and drinks pretty quick which is nice. We love their appetizer options especially at happy hour. I wish they had a special appetizer from time to time to try other things they make. One word to the wise, it is frequently chilly in the restraint so be sure to bring a jacket if you tend to be cold.

Vegetarian food was good. The queso was amazing. They forgot to bring one of our entrees, but they took it off the bill :). Everyone was so nice. Really nice place to go. Not your regular Tex-Mex restaurant, they actually have good and different options...

Welcomed with doors held and given seating preference by pleasant hostess. Warm Texas casual ambiance and a friendly neighborhood vibe. Plenty of natural lighting and a large covered outdoor seating for those who prefer alfresco. Today, server Cory was pleasant, acomidating and helpful making menu selection. Past servers have also been top notch as well. Food was delivered to table by manager hot immediately when ready. The vegetables were cooked to perfection tender not crunchy on the raw side or mushy, as was the rice. The artichoke chicken was also tender and moist with the smokey grilled taste and the fried catfish had a sundried tomato sauce that was next level from my usual mix of tarter and cocktail sauces. The prices were reasonable and cheap for the quality. Casual attire, fair prices, relaxing neighborhood vibe, and cooks with skills.

The service of the place was great, they were super accommodating with our request and got our food out fast. This is your typical bar and grill food, nothing out of this world but very tasty. I appreciate how many options they had on their menu. It is a great place to go before a concert since it is so close to the venue.

Our server was a bit quiet and timid but he was 100% on it for service. He made sure our orders were correct by repeating them back and everything came out as ordered. When we asked for something extra he was johnny on the spot and delivered. I got the steak and eggs Benedict without the muffins and the steak was very nice and tender with great flavor. The poached eggs were perfect too with all the yolk over the steak while the potatoes were nicely seasoned. Definitely want to come back on a nice day when I can sit on the patio.

If you wake up late or coming in after early mass great place to stop and enjoy brunch specials. Warm environment with variety of music playing in the background but not to loud. Come join the hospitality!

Excellent service. Great food. I will definitely go back. Very friendly atmosphere for families or groups. I'm ordering their Thanksgiving Dinner, and I know it will be Outstanding!!

This chicken stuffed in the chili rellenos and the amazing cheese sauce on top made this dish! It had the perfect kick of spice that was not overbearing but amazing! The black beans were yummy and the rice with the additional bits of corn did it for me. Very tasty! The service was excellent!

One thing we love about Austin is that there is usually no wait at most places and Blue corn harvest is one of the only places in Austin where we had to wait. It wasn't too long but it sure was worth it. Their decor is a little old but feels cozy and booths are quite comfortable. The service is pretty good across the board too. Their Mexican martini is quite good to start with and that's what we got. Its served in a shaker and can be shared by 2 people if you want to wet your lips but not get too much alcohol is your system. The food is excellent across the board. We got the artichoke-stuffed chicken, blue crab stuffed chicken and the fried tilapia. The tilapia had a bit too much salt but was flavored quite well otherwise. The sauces for the chicken dishes were a little on the heavy side but flavorful. We have been here before and I think we will come back again.

Menu has a lot of options. Rarely ever a wait. Food ingredient quality doesn't seem fresh. Seems very Sysco tasting. Service good. Layout tired.

This exact location is my favorite! Food is always cooked to perfection service was great ! Our waitress always came back to check on us and to refill our drinks! I wouldn't change a thing!

I had the crab stuffed chicken and key lime pie to celebrate my big 7-0. Others had chicken fried chicken, blue bacon burger, nachos and ground beef enchiladas, plus pecan pie and brownie a la mode. All was delicious and Kyle made sure we had everything we needed. Blue Corn had a relaxed, comfortable vibe. So glad we found this place!

Who doesn't love this restaurant? It's a unique twist on modern Tex mex. Although the restaurant is decent in size, there is often a wait. But that's a good thing because there is always a crowd waiting for the good food! Personally, I'm a fan of most dishes I've had here. The crab stuffed chicken is my go to entree but all have been delicious!

We got the chili and shrimp quesadilla, steak and mushroom quesadilla, and the tinga chicken rellenos. I thought the quesadillas were really good and would go again just for them especially since we went during happy hour and so the starters were cheaper. The tinga chicken rellenos was a bit more disappointing, still pretty good, but I wouldn't get them again. We went at 6 pm on Friday and there was a lot of people so it took a while to get seated and the food to come out but it was worth it the food was so yummy. We sat in the outside patio area which was covered and was a small cute seating area, especially since the weather was nice.

My wife and I had lunch on a Thursday afternoon. The restaurant was great! Friendly staff, cool decor, busy and the food was excellent! My wife ordered the Chile and also had a Wedge Salad with Grilled Shrimp. I tried both and it was as good as it looked! The Chile was very hearty and had great flavors. I ordered the Diablo Burger with sweet potato fries. The burger was tender and probably one of the best burgers I've had in a long time! Our server said all the ingredients are fresh from local farms. The restaurant is chef owned! We'll definitely come back!

Food was AMAZING!! We enjoyed everything we ordered!! Service was good and friendly! Restaurant was clean and tidy. Chicken nachos are a must try and I think my favorite!! The seafood enchiladas were also really good but I would like to see more shrimp in them. The salmon wasn't very appealing: too bland for my taste. Would most definitely come back!!

The restaurant is spacious and the staff is friendly. The bacon was perfect and the music was excellent.

My fav place for happy hour and also for bringing guests from out of town! They also have amazing drinks and appetizers.

Food is good The corn muffins are wonderful The salmon and veg was great. Service is not consistently good and coffee is usually luke warm bit food comes out in a timely fashion so all in all it turns out well

Purchased our Thanksgiving dinner there this year. Excellent turkey, cornbread stuffing, green beans, lumpy mashed potatoes from scratch. All delicious. Cranberry sauce was just ok -- not scratch like the rest of the meal. Dinner for four and enough leftovers for turkey sandwiches. Will definitely go back there.

I was on the road and needed a good dinner. I found this place on Yelp and decided to give it a try. The building is a little hard to find. I was so very pleased that I found this place. I was seated immediately. Service was excellent. Ambiance was pleasant. I had a salad and the daily appetizer. Both were great. I'm a vegetarian and don't like a lot of foods but this place was great. I hope to return for a cocktail and another meal.

Stopped by for breakfast right when they opened. Staff was very nice and service was great. It is a nice restaurant. There is enough space to be spread out but the vibe and decorations were good. Good local place energy which was honestly why I picked it over IHOP. Only miss was the mac and cheese. I recommend kids pancakes and eggs. My girls shared that and left the Mac uneaten. Great place give it a try if you are in the area.

Great service and every sweet wait staff who really take care of you! Ingredients fresh and local, and everything is scratch-made. Prices are very good for the quality! Coming from Kalahari resort, everything was around half the price and tens times better in taste. Our waitress explained dishes to us, brought us a sample of the tortilla soup, and we were able to order à la carte waffles and bacon for the kids. We ordered the queso, guacamole salad, and salsa with chips, seafood enchiladas, crispy pork enchiladas, a kids chicken tenders and French fries, and a waffle with side of bacon. Drinks were great too, had the giggle water and sunset mojito. Peanut butter pie is really a peanut butter cheesecake with a dark chocolate ganache topping, fresh whipped cream- we had to take half of it home, it's so rich (and good). This place is worth a stop if you are in the area. Nice bar area with tv's, a large private room to one side, and an inviting main dining area. Good for a date or family meal!

Terrible and cheap meat. Don't bother going. The service was nice but that's about it.

The service was fast, food was good however priced a little higher than expected probably because everything is made freshly. We sat outside because we brought our little 6 month puppy. I shared the salad with my mom which was good and a big portion. My photo is after I split it in half. The chicken strips were so tasty too!

This place was amazing the workers were so nice the food was super good i recommend the Mac and cheese and the peanut butter pie. Definitely worth the money

Plenty of parking considering today was LISD graduations. The hostess who greeted me was so pleasant, warm and genuine. There was a 20-25 minute wait for a table for two. They do take reservations. I did not make any. Sat at the bar, full service available. Waited about 10 minutes to be served, so I ordered an extra for my guest who was joining me. Thank you Louis for the drinks, chips and salsa. Hot, fresh and have I mentioned how delicious the Mexican Martinis are!! A huge shout out to Esau!!! Fabulous team, food and service..

Modern spot with great outdoor dining area. We stayed in though. Excellent Mexican decor as well. Service was slow but they were busy, although I do like when I can enjoy my food and not be rushed Free cornbread to start was so good and different for Mexican spot. Quesadillas were pretty good as well with mushrooms and not just cheese. Key lime pie is a must.

My kind of enchilada. Creamy, a kick of spicy, good seafood combination, perfectly seasoned. I could visit here many times and won't mind ordering the same thing. It is really good.

The menu is always eclectic. Their drink menu is fantastic. Every dish that we have ordered has always been at the top of its game. I definitely would go here for a date.

Great place! Stopped by for a quick dinner while traveling for business in the area. Saw the place had a ton of great reviews and decided to check it out. Glad I did. It was not too long before closing so they were winding down but the staff were very welcoming (it was 30 min before close). The sever (didn't catch his name) was very nice. Had great recommendations and was very attentive. The food was amazing - the I've never quite seen a combination of ingridients quite like that. Was surprised when I first saw them but they worked together in a fantastic way. Would definitely be back if I'm in the area and would highly recommend them!

This place was nice to visit with friends for breakfast! We got here for our Saturday reservation at 11 and were seated right away. We were a party of 6. The server greeted us almost immediately and was very attentive to us. I started with the mango popsicle mimosa which was just delightful then I followed it up with the spinach and mushroom omelette. Everyone loved coming here! We had a one year old who was rowdy and the service here was wonderful with him! The baby got the rainbow pancakes and loved them! Others at our table enjoyed the breakfast quesadilla and a few others got the omelettes. We would all return here again! Thank you for the wonderful visit!

Ribeye is the best. Always a proper cut (not a cheap piece of meat) and solid flavor. Service is always spot on as well.

The food and especially the service was great. It was our first time there and they did not disappoint. The drinks hit just right. We plan to do brunch there in the future.

We arrived around 8:00PM on a Friday night to a very chill but packed atmosphere. Lots of groups of families and friends chatting, super great community vibes. Our waiter was extremely fast and attentive, and offered us and multiple other tables complimentary corn bread (woohoo!) appetizer of Fundido with steak was okay. The meat in the tacos we ordered was tender, saucy and very well seasoned! We also ordered Chile Arellano and that was delicious. Overall good food and good service, quicker than you'd think!

Food is excellent I've been there multiple times and different locations every time I go food is very good. Highly recommend
