"If you’re unfamiliar with Golden Gai, it’s a neighborhood of themed bars each with maybe eight seats at most, all stacked on top of each other in one giant fire hazard. Golden Gai has become very touristy in the last few years, but you’ll still want to check it out if you know where to go. One of our favorites is Bar Blue Dragon, an upper-level bar on one of the middle blocks. There’s no better way to tell you how to find it in Golden Gai, but if you manage to track it down, try the coffee-bean-infused shochu drink. I went here in October 2024 by myself. It was later in the evening on a weekday, not too busy. Met two people who were siblings, a lady who was a surgeon, and her brother. I can't remember where in the USA they were from, possible Midwest? But I had a really good time with them. I'm hoping to meet them again; I never ended up getting their info as I left as I had an unfortunate anxiety event, and I had to leave promptly. The woman sang the intro of Neon Genesis Evangelion. At the time, I had never heard the song until then, but it was such an interesting song I ended up watching the show, here in 2025, almost a year later. Took me forever to find the song. I can't remember what the brother sang, i think it might have been country or rock, but he did well too. Hoping to meet them again. Life is too short, I'd like to meet you guys again. I had a good time, I'm sorry that I left in a hurry :(

Eigentlich ein schöner Laden. Etwas versteckt und nicht direkt einsehbar. Man muss jedoch eine Taxe pro Person zahlen. Ebenso war die Bedienung quasi nicht vorhanden, hat am Handy gespielt und gegessen. Des Weiteren mussten wir ein Getränk pro Person bestellen, obwohl wir direkt am Anfang 6 Getränke (für 5 Personen) bestellt hatten. Dabei waren jeweils 2 Getränke für 1 Person. Karaoke, obwohl als Werbung in der Gasse ausgeschildert, war nicht spielbar. Aber das schlimmste war, dass sie, sichtbar krank, ekelhaft in die Hand gehustet hat und anschließend ohne die Hand zu waschen Eis für die Getränke zubereitet hat. Die gesamte Stimmung in der 1h vor Ort war nicht vorhanden. Also meine Empfehlung, Einfach woanders eine trinken gehen und einen gute Zeit haben. Es gibt hunderte Alternativen.
