Blue Goose Cantina Mexican Restaurant

This may be becoming our favorite Mexican restraint. The staff at this one is extremely friendly and helpful. Drinks don't go empty even on the busiest of days. The food is good was well, great flavor, lots of choices. Love the chips. Everything tasted so good. If you haven't tried this place out, it is time for you to go in. I love this place.

Blue Goose is FANTASTIC! I'm Hispanic, I know Mexican food, and the Blue Goose serves QUALITY meat. The steak fajitas are tender with every bite. The charro beans are sooooo tasty. The LIME rice is wonderful! And my Fresco Tacos (fish) were outstanding! We also ordered the GingerLime Tacos as well, and they were also fantastic. Brisket Tacos - delish! The salsa has the perfect "kick" to it. I loved it! Allan's Chicken Enchiladas were perfection. He said they were tender and not stringy. All six of us loved our entrées. We were very happy with our ordered and even though we wanted a dessert, we were all too full to eat another bite. We each got a "To Go" because the plates were so plentiful, we took some home. My fish taco came with 3 tacos. With the Charro beans and lime rice, it was sooo much, I brought home, charro beans, lime rice, and one taco. Lots of food; super generous servings. Ginger Lime Fish Tacos: Three open-faced, fried tilapia tacos served on char-grilled corn tortillas with fresh Haas avocados, pico de gallo, queso fresco, and a red cabbage carrot mix. Drizzled with zesty ginger sauce. TACOS FRESCOS: Three crispy blackened tilapia tacos, pico de gallo, jack cheese, and chipotle mayo. Served with poblano lime rice and black beans. The BLUE GOOSE is an impressive atmosphere. I love the soft blue neon lighting. Our server, Brooke, was great. One can call ahead and get on the wait list as you travel in. The food; the customer service; the ambiance; the prices, ALL 5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ *************************** After the last three visits to Chuys and being served gristle, rubbery steak fajitas, IDK WHY we continued to go! Those days are over.

Visited with a friend yesterday for dinner. We arrived about 6:30p and there was plenty of seating available inside and on the patio. We were seated right away and were brought chips and individual salsas right away. The cups of salsa were larger than what I’m used to, which was nice. But more importantly, the salsa is amazing. It’s flavorful, not too spicy, and I might have had two cups of this myself between with chips and on my entree. Their tortilla chips were salty and thin, and fresh - delicious. We also ordered the queso - it’s yellow queso and was just okay, not nearly was flavorful as the salsa. The shrimp tacos were on the experimental menu, but looked good so we both ordered them. It was six street taco sized tacos with the little baby salad shrimp. There was plenty of shrimp, but I would’ve liked more toppings. I couldn’t really taste the avocado as the slices were very thin and missing from one taco. The sauce also wasn’t very bold which is why I added salsa. They were good, but the standout of the meal was the chips and salsa. The service was good as well. Our drinks stayed full, and Jovanni was very patient with us. We had met in the middle of our homes so each drive about 45 minutes and we chatted for a bit after we paid. He still checked on us and didn’t make us feel rushed at all. But we did tip accordingly :) Overall, it was a relaxed enjoyable evening in a clean restaurant with delicious chips and salsa. Will be back for sure.

This place is fantastic! We started with the appetizer goose eggs and WOW! So good! Ordered the "dirty Bob" (chimichanga) and I definitely will be back for this alone! Service was great! Very busy but we were seated immediately and the drinks were never empty. Thank you so much! Five stars across the board!! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Love this place we come 2 times a week. Liz is an amazing server not only to us every time we ask for her but we see how she treats all her guests and she always has a smile on her face. The manager Yvonne is so attentive, such a vibe, and what I love most is you see her carrying trays and drinks and doing things to help her team. Overall this is our go to spot because of the customer service and we really feel welcomed here. Food is delicious and check out their margaritas!!!

We had a pleasant dinner here at the Plano location. While we miss the Greenville Ave location but this is better, both because it's close now that we've moved and also the parking and access is better. The food and staff were great. The patio was nice and comfortable.

Amazing food, amazing atmosphere, service was top notch! Highly recommend. Walked away stuffed and happy!
