America’s Artisan Cheese Industry Is Being Threatened by COVID-19 | Eater
"A small Vermont cheesemaker that, like many regional producers, is pivoting from fresh, high‑moisture cheeses toward firmer, aged varieties that keep for months and can capture more value from surplus milk, while grappling with cash‑flow and storage constraints needed to age inventory long term." - Anne Saxelby
Where do I begin?! BEST GOAT CHEESE!! Holy crap the goat cheese is heaven, it’s amazing in salads, on pizzas or just for good old fashion crackers! They take amazing care of their goats as seen on their instagram! Totally local businesses run by an amazing family who’s very community oriented! My only complaint is that the farm stand isn’t open all year round! The prices are great in general for goat cheese of this caliber but the prices at the farm stand feel like a steal!! I love this business so much and I hope you try it and love it too!!

Adorable goats and a wide selection of goat cheese. The cheese shack is near the front, it's easy to miss because it's very small. If you go past it to the farm you'll see two big signs, goats and cheese. Through the goat door was a large herd of goats, they were packed in the barn I assume because it was milking time. Through the cheese door is the cheese cave, it's down a steep ramp and there is nothing to see there. We went in because we mistakenly thought that's where to the cheese was, it's not there it's in the shack near the entrance.

Nice selection of cheeses, jams, crackers. The cheeses are in a small shack at the entrance. If you go further in, you can visit the goats. Reasonable prices, nice variety, well worth the trip. Bring small bills for the honor system lock box.

wonderful, fresh tasting chèvre and a nice, very affordable selection of other cheeses beyond just goat. They also have original art, cards and fun logo merch in the adorable farm stand. This is our ‘local’ and we are proud of their commitment to improve animal welfare and reduce their environmental impact as much as possible. Nice folks, great cheese, good prices, cute goats - they have it all!

A small group of us visited last Saturday for your tour and we had such a great time! Livia was so knowledgeable and answered all of our questions
The highlight was definitely meeting the young goats. We loved each type cheese we sampled and we were so happy to be able to purchase lots to take home! Such a beautiful setting!

Yelp
I just received a package from my Mami with my favorite Crottina and Maple Chèvre Goat Cheeses from Blue Ledge Farm!
Outstanding and while the portions look small-they are rich and creamy and are perfect for 1-2 people!
While the Cheese does not appear to be available outside of New England-I have ordered through their web site and the shipments are carefully packaged and shipped in a reasonable amount of time!
Try it---you will NOT be disappointed!

Yelp
Blue Ledge Farm goat cheese was recommended to me by a local Vermont cheese expert. I researched the farm online and discovered they welcome visitors and sell a robust assortment of farm-made cheese onsite. So I went and enjoyed a five star experience. See cheese maker and owner, Hannah on the grounds for good conversation and a heightened appreciation for a job well done.
