The 15 Best Places To Eat & Drink At The Battery Atlanta, Ranked - Atlanta - The Infatuation

"Blue Moon Brewery & Grill is attached to Truist Stadium, so on- and offseason, it’s a good spot to live and breathe all things Braves. If you’re with a big group or just enjoy screaming at the TV while you watch a game, you’ll fit in perfectly with the noisy atmosphere. If you need some carbs and protein to soak up your Blue Moon Belgian White, they collaborate with Fox Bros. to serve menu favorites like the pulled pork sandwich and beef brisket. The BBQ options are limited, but it’s still a reliable choice to satisfy those cravings." - nina reeder, demarco williams, juli horsford

Absolutely amazing place. The staff is more than accommodating and super friendly. Great selection of beers. We ordered the pretzel as an appetizer. It was huge and the cheese sauce was absolutely amazing. It's completely delicious. I had the blue cheeseburger. It was very juicy and full of flavor these sweet potato fries are out of this world. Nothing that I've ever had before. Definitely recommend the wings are smoked to perfection. The brisket is tender and juicy. 10\10

Shawn is the goat. I came in during a tough time and it was nice to hang out with the other firefighters at Bluemoon. The Sammy and beer combo were so good! I’ll definitely be sliding in next time I’m at the battery.

Great food and cool atmosphere. The menu is not very large, but it covers the basics. The wings are amazing. They are smoked with just enough heat. The prices are fair for the fact that your in the Battery. Service was mid at best. I sat for nearly 10 minutes waiting on my drink and then she never came back. I had to flag her down to get my check. It was a game day so I know she was overwhelmed and I understand. When I arrived there was mo wait, but when I left it was on a wait. Definitely a place I would eat again. Just go early the closer to game the longer the wait.

Had a great experience. The food was amazing and service was on point. Nice beer and prices were fair for the portions. Ask for the Tomatoe Peach Jam, delicious!

Checked out the Blue Moon Brewery & Grill for the first time. I found the place to be solid but unspectacular. The beer selection is a big step down from the old Terrapin spot; the ‘away beer’ are all super safe macro lager options for the most casual of drinkers, and the ‘home beers’ left something to be desired. I only drank beer that was brewed on-site (aka home beers), and that included the kölsch, IPA, and pale ale. The beer is fine but won’t blow your socks off with the pale ale being the best of the bunch in my opinion. Each ‘home beer’ came out to $9 a piece. Ordered a side of fries that came out almost instantly but were also on the cold side. Mojo is a bit lacking during non-busy hours. The space itself is basically identical to the old Terrapin taproom they just got rid of the red and made everything the colors of the Blue Moon logo. It’s a step down from Terrapin but it’ll do the job if you’re looking for any place to eat and drink before a game.

We enjoyed Blue Moon for several hours prior to a Braves game. Our server was incredibly lovely for all of those hours! She was not only efficient, but sweet, fun, cheerful and fun to chat with! Food is bar good. Outdoor seating was great. Location to ball park fantastic.

A group of us met up after the Braves rainout Sunday afternoon. Alex took such good care of us! As a bartender myself, I appreciate great service. He went above and beyond even for my kids that were just eating. They even commented on our drive back to Nashville, how good he was. We have found our new spot when we come back for ballgames! We appreciate you, Alex!! See you in May! ⚾️❤️

Our server Alex was fantastic, and we really enjoyed our time eating and drinking during a Braves game day. The service was great, and we were having a good time. However, after being there for just over an hour, an employee—who seemed to be some kind of security or bouncer—approached us and informed us that there was a 90-minute table limit on game days. He told us we had five minutes before we needed to leave. I understand having policies like that in place when the restaurant is on a long wait, but as I sit here waiting on the check, I can clearly see that most of the tables are empty and there’s no wait at all. The rigid enforcement of that policy, despite the lack of demand, felt unnecessary and left a bad taste in our mouths. Instead of staying and possibly ordering more, we’ve decided to take our business elsewhere—walking over to Yard House to finish out our day. It’s a shame because we would’ve gladly continued to spend money here if we hadn’t been rushed out like that.

Yelp
Such a great spot to pre-game a Braves game!! They have absolutely great cocktails, draft beers, & food! It can get very busy so either make a reservation or get on a list early! They have really fun beer cocktails too! Like a beer paloma which was great! I loved it! Also... pro tip! If you get a drink from Blue Moon, you can bring it into the stadium!

Yelp
Wow! What a day! We made a last minute decision to run in Blue Moon before the game start and before standing in line to get our USHER BOBBLEHEAD at Truist ballpark! YAYY ME! Anywhy! Blue Moon is located at the Battery and can be accessed in the game as well as outside. There is a max time to dine of I believe 2 hours on game day! Thats obviously important because of folks wanting to just hang out and watch the game and they have other customers. We were about an hour. I started with the Home Plate Punch which was Blue Moon Belgian White, Riesling, Peach Schnapps! Sooooo dang good. Im not much of a Riesling girlie, but it hit the spot. They garnished it with an orange wheel and a blackberry! It was $12 For my meal, I ordered the smoked wings (6) with blue cheese dressing. Fall off the bone wings for sure! Please try them. Those were $12. ANDDDDD THE STAR OF THE WHOLE EXPERIENCE were the sweet potatoes fries! Sweet and savory! I ate every last one! 50/50!! And the spicy ketchup! Those were $6. After reading more about the restaurant, their smoked meats are from FOXX BROTHERS! Thats why I was all in. Their bbq restaurant is one of my favorites. Thanks to Blue Moon Brewery & Grill staff and our amazing waiter! I will be back and see you on Yelp!

Yelp
Well, what can I say about this place coming from California. The food was amazing! You can't go wrong with the Southern Smokehouse burger or the Chicken Club. The Chicken Club is my favorite.. The customer service was Great!! A+++++ Dawn and AJ are great people and always checked up on me. Great conversation with them as well. I can't say enough about them two. Just good people

Yelp
Our Server Alex was outstanding and we had a great time eating and drinking on a Braves game day. After we had been sitting for a little over an hour, we were approached by an employee that I'm assuming was some type of security or bouncer. He explained to us that there was a 90 minute table limit on game days and that "we had 5 minutes before we had to leave". Now while i don't totally disagree with this policy if the restaurant was on an extended wait, but as I'm sitting here waiting for my check. I see that the majority of seats are empty and there is no wait. We are now going to walk over and get a table at yard house and spend money that we would have spent here instead.

Yelp
Great burgers and service! Perfect spot for a bite before a game. We had a black and blue burger, smash burger, brisk burger and a pretzel as an app. All delicious!

Yelp
I came to visit family and friends in Atlanta for a day and this place was recommended to me. For background, I am a very picky eater and expected I'd not like the food. BOY WAS I WRONG! For starters, the decor is very reminiscent of the beer gardens I'd attend during summers in New York and Philadelphia. I sat at the bar, which had a cool, tropical beach aesthetic, and was greeted promptly by the Lovely Bartender named Ebonee( she specifies that there are 2 E's Lol). I let her know that I was from out of town and would like any recommendations on food and drinks. She took a look at me and recommended that I try the Southern SmokeHouse Burger since I was visiting from up North. She completely read my mind because I had been eyeing that dish since I'd first read the menu! "I'll take it! I then ordered the Grand slam Old Fashioned cocktail to hold me over until my meal. Whew! The depth and dimension in that cocktail had me thinking that the bartender was trying to seduce me with such voluptuous flavors! She had a magnetic and professional charm that made me endeared to and comfortable with her. Especially because I was a solo diner. By the time my cocktail had set in, the beautiful aroma of my Burger and fries began to fill the air. I smoke cigarettes, but tobacco onion is something that I never thought that I'd want on a burger. But, By God, the combination of Applewood smoked bacon and peach tomato jam to accompany the tobacco onion creates a beautiful symphony of flavors that I can only describe as, yum. And I can't forget to mention the fresh and crispy fries! Thanks for sharing your amazing southern food and hospitality Blue Moon Brewery and Grill! And thank you Ebonee( with 2 e's ;).
