My husband and I ordered food and a beer on the app. Along with sandwiches, we ordered a draft beer we had never heard of, but we decided to try it.. I didn't like it. I ended up ordering a different one on the app. The server was very attentive and even offered an alternative to the beer. We said no that my husband would just drink it. Half way through my new beer I started to experience something hitting my mouth as I took a drink. It ended up being some piece of plastic (part soft, part hard about 1" in length). When I brought it to the server's attention the response was "it's just a piece of plastic". I was in a bit of shock and said "but the plastic is IN MY BEER". "Ma'am, it's just plastic. It's just plastic." again stating "yes, plastic in my drink!" I looked at him in disbelief and not knowing what else I should say. "what do you want? do you want another beer?" "Um ... I guess..." To which he brings me 1/2 glass of what I was drinking. (understandable since I drank part of it)
Keep in mind, It was the (lack of) response and accountability that really bothers us. There were no apologies, no acknowledgment, just "it's just plastic" several times, putting 1/2 beer on the table, not looking at us, no response/speaking to us, and just walked away. (He did not come back to the table to check on us either)
Up to this point we were going to tip (in cash) more than we left on the app because it was decent service. (A downfall of the app, you're tipping before any service is presented). But with the pure disgust, annoyance and indifference towards how my completely valid concern was responded to, it has led to this review.
