Yelp
I've been wanting to try this place for a while and finally found out they were open thanks to TikTok!
First Impressions:
This restaurant is absolutely beautiful. The decor is stunning, and the music is even better. They were playing The Marías, Mitski's "My Love Mine All Mine," and other chill bops that instantly set the mood. I love when a restaurant curates a vibe, and this one nailed it. The ambiance alone made me want to come back before I even tasted the food.
Service:
From the moment I walked in, the service was amazing. The hostess was so sweet and welcoming. I had my toddler with me, and she offered a high chair (though we opted for a booth instead -- my kid likes to stand and eat, lol). We were seated promptly, and every staff member -- our server, the hostess, even the food runner -- checked in on us throughout our meal with the kindest attitude. 10/10 service.
What We Ordered:
Tiger Cry on a Stick ($26)
Grilled marinated steak / Thai herbs & cucumber salad / sticky rice
Beautiful presentation! The steak came with a flavorful sauce (tamarind-based, I think), but overall it was a bit lacking in flavor for me. Also, the sticky rice listed on the menu never came. Still good, just missing something.
3/5
Short Rib Crunchy Steamed Buns ($22)
Braised beef short rib / cilantro / hot & sour red onions
Once again, presentation was stunning -- they know how to plate a dish! Flavor-wise, it didn't quite hit for me. It looked better than it tasted.
3/5
Dry Street Noodles (Bahmi Haeng) - $22
Egg noodles / char siu pork / fried garlic / cilantro / bok choy / sweet soy chili vinegar
Ordered this for my toddler. The server kindly adjusted it to be more kid-friendly, so it came with just plain noodles and steamed bok choy. While I really appreciated that effort, it was understandably bland -- more like dry ramen with no seasoning. I ended up eating it alongside my steak since I never received the sticky rice. I'm thankful our server provided me with a sauce tray because the fish sauce with garlic and Thai chilis helped give the dry noodles some flavor. But overall, I'm not rating this one since it wasn't made as intended. Just thankful for the thoughtful accommodation and would probably give it another try made the way it was supposed to be made.
Green Curry Hummus ($16)
Coconut chickpea purée / roti flatbread
SO GOOD. My favorite item by far. The coconut puree was rich and flavorful, and the warm, crisp roti paired perfectly. Even my toddler loved it and kept stealing my roti so I had to ask for more and they were more than willing to give me extras! Thank you!
5/5 -- MUST TRY
Beef Jerky (Take-Out) - $22
Coriander-marinated flank steak / dried red peppers / shallots / Thai herb salad / tamarind sauce / sticky rice
Ordered to-go for my partner, so I didn't get to taste it -- but once again, no sticky rice included (even though the menu lists it). Just a small disappointment, but the extra roti they gave me for my Green Curry Hummus makes up for it. But still, I can't rate this one until I try it myself. Just stating our experience.
Thai Iced Tea ($7)
Sweet, creamy, and absolutely delicious.
10/10 -- Highly recommend!
Acqua Panna Glass Bottle ($10)
It's Acqua Panna -- in a glass bottle -- crisp and refreshing. Always a good call.
10/10
Final Thoughts:
I'll definitely be back -- this place has major potential. The vibe is unmatched, the staff is amazing, and even though a couple dishes didn't blow me away, I'm excited to try more of the menu (especially once I can drink again -- I've been eyeing those cocktails on TikTok!).
And please -- never change the music.
Immaculate taste.
Wonderful establishment.
I will most definitely be back.
