Dave Pasternack Brings Italian Restaurant and Steakhouse to Troubled Staten Island Waterfront Development | Eater NY

"Occupying 37 Navy Pier Court, the bi-level concept separates a lively ground-floor taproom — with wings, burgers, a raw bar, ping-pong, shuffleboard, and seating for about 60 inside plus 120 outdoors — from an upstairs steakhouse that seats 100 and focuses on dry-aged beef cooked on wood-fired grills, accompanied by a large wine list with selections from Oregon, California, Italy, and France; the sports bar is slated to open in March." - Tanay Warerkar

I have been dining at Chef Peter Botros restaurants for years! Blue Pearl was absolutely exquisite. The inside of the restaurant was beautiful, the staff was very welcoming and friendly, and the food was spectacular! Our waiter was Manny and he really provided such a lovely service! We started out with the oysters and shrimp cocktail, the octopus, and the New England chilled lobster rolls. Our entrees were the Angry Ramen and crab Cavatelli. Everything was perfection and we had a great time!!

We came here for Sunday brunch at noon. Although we had a reservation, the restaurant wasn’t very busy. We were greeted promptly by the hostess, and the atmosphere was modern and nicely updated. Our waiter was attentive, and the rest of the staff also made sure we were well taken care of. The food arrived fairly quickly, and while the quality was good, nothing really stood out as exceptional in terms of flavor. Portion sizes were generally ok. Prices, however, felt higher than expected for both the setting and the dishes we ordered. The crab Benedict, for example, had a very small crab cake—essentially one patty split between two eggs. The tuna was cooked properly and had good flavor, and the teriyaki salmon was also quite good. We ordered a few drinks, which were just okay. Like many places, they add a surcharge for non-cash payments, but they also suggest tips based on the total after tax and fees, which feels a bit out of place for a restaurant aiming for an upscale experience. Overall, the food was good and service attentive, but the value didn’t quite match the high prices.

Blue Pearl is a gorgeous restaurant; that is perhaps where the pleasantries end. I was tremendously disappointed with the food; raw bar items were good, apps, mains, and dessert, were incredibly bland and completely devoid of taste. Service was neither good nor commensurate to the price-point. Check this place out, hopefully you will have a better experience than I did.

To say blue pearl is amazing is an absolute understatement! My husband & I just had our wedding there & we couldn’t have chosen a better venue. From the ambience, to the view of the city, to the drinks, the food & the service and staff, we were absolutely BLOWN AWAY!!! Everything was pure perfection. The drinks were delicious and the food was just outstanding. We were beyond impressed by the service and staff, especially Alex who took care of us all night!! And a big thank you to Nastacha who helped plan this event and helped make it so wonderful! She was so easy to get in touch with and just an absolute pleasure to work with!! We truly can’t thank Blue Pearl enough for making our wedding so special. Our family and friends cannot stop raving about it and neither can we! Thank you blue pearl!!!

Glad to know that my favorite area in Staten Island got the perfect seafood restaurant. The service we received was outstanding, beyond professional and welcoming, and cozy at the same time. I, personally was happy to discover the availability of Kumamoto oysters. Which I always struggle to find even in the City. All over, we had amazing experiences and truly tasty and fresh dining. Every dish has a harmony of notes and smells. Everything was freshly cooked and tasted great. The price is fully understandable and reasonable. So, if you have a special celebration or are just up for a delicious food experience - that’s the place!

Google
Best thing was the crispy shrimp taste like walnut shrimp w/o walnuts, we came for the oysters which was nice and enjoyed. Place had so many gnats it was very annoying the whole time. We sat by the window maybe thats why, but the window corners were dirty. Very nice decors and grand bathroom, service was nice and attentive for such a huge dining room. Liquor was ok, we had a lot of menus to look at, and it was all very nicely printed. Brunch item brioche was off tasting and the waiter was kind to take it off our bill. We also had skirt steak and the marination made it taste like char siu very interesting but they didnt cook the temperature right we did ask for medium, it came medium well for sure. I liked the blue potato it was charred and fun color. Lobster roll was nice and buttery, i like bisque so i enjoyed it extra. Truffle lobster roll was nicely enjoyed by my group as well. Good mini croissant and chili-chocolate was a good try. Berry jam was delicious.

**Update 5/5/25** Our 2nd visit and we got to try two new menu items. The "Make Me Blush" Mojito and it was delicious! We also got the Angry Lobster Ramen, and although it was tasty, it was definitely more sour than we expected. Also, our waitress Nina was super sweet. ‐---‐--------------------------------------------------- Came here for lunch with my family, and we had a good experience. The staff were very friendly and professional, but the front desk hostesses didn't notice we were standing in front of them. Our waiter was super nice and engaging, telling us about the dishes and providing us recommendations. We ordered the Lobster Roll (average price but not for the size), the Lobster Sushi Roll that tasted really good, and also the Eggplant Ravioli, which was good, but the cheese flavor was too heavy. Overall, it was a nice experience and willing to bring my friends to try the other dishes. **Also, there is free parking for restaurant guests (please see photo)

Google
Phenomenal Social Hour at Blue Pearl! Thank you to Nina and Diogo for your gracious care, explaining each special menu item and for your skillset gift of hospitality. The yellowtail sushi rolls, crudo and chicken satay were a feast! The cocktails were super and each menu item was prepared with exquisitely!! Price point is on point! Valet parking is a plus as well! The dessert menu is not to be missed! Superb!!

Yelp
Amazing restaurant! The food here was fantastic. The appetizers are both unique and delicious, a mix of Asian fusion / sushi / seafood / meat etc. Cocktails were delicious. Try the Bang Bang margaritas 10/10.. For my main entree, I had ribeye steak for 2.. cooked perfectly Wait staff was friendly and accommodating. Decor and ambiance is gorgeous and classy. This is a great spot for a nice dinner, party, drink, or a nice date night. Will be returning.

Yelp
I don't think I've ever gone to Staten Island for dinner. It was our 5yr anniversary and I just wanted something different without heading to the city. I'm so sick of the city especially driving and trying to find a parking spot. This place caught my eye and my fiancé was like bro, really? Staten Island? I'm like yes, let's go! So here we are, they thankfully had valet parking. The surrounding area prior to rolling up felt weird & isolated but when we got there it was just a quaint space. The restaurant is absolutely STUNNING. I was so in love with the bar area and decor and colors. You will not be disappointed with the ambiance. However, it saddens me to say the food was just ok....and greatly overpriced. Plating was so pretty it gets you excited but once you have a taste it's nothing mind blowing. I liked the lobster dumplings but not for what it cost. I felt stupid for ordering it. The worst part of dinner was the spicy shrimp pasta. It was a newer item on the menu - completely bland and not anywhere near "spicy". I'm not sure if Staten Island has a different definition of spicy but it did absolutely nothing for me. I wanted to send it back but he's like "can we have it to go" because he saw the look in my eyes. Neither of us touched it at home and it went to waste anyway. I think it was somewhere around ...$48?? It actually made me angry. If you're looking for a beautiful, romantic spot to have drinks and maybe an app, ok cool this is it. If you're looking for a place with delicious dinner within reason, this is not it. The staff and service were admittedly EXCEPTIONAL.

Yelp
They went all out on decorations and menu papers they forget the food needa be good too. We wanted raw oysters so the restaurant search made us come here. Very nice place and friendly staffs, but with all that plant decorations they have a fly problem. It was bothering us the whole meal. The bad food item was the brunch french toast we had to send it back but they were kind to take it off. Let's talk about the yummy shrimps, i was a big fan i almost ordered another, the drinks were good but the quality of liquor was just ok. I liked my mermaid margarita with kiwi! Bathroom is very nice and the sink bowl was my favorite. Blue potatoes were so interesting i liked how they grilled it with the skin. i like lobster bisque lobster roll the brioche was buttered and the outside is warm

Yelp
I came here for a wedding, and the place is beautiful. Everyone on the team was very sweet and hospitality is 10 out of 10. I did not get to try their daily menu, as the wedding had a set menu. Delicious! -Shout out to the pasta dish, was made very well. Look forward to coming back for a dinner - great place for a romantic date too. Nice view and the water is right outside.

Yelp
Trying Blue Pearl made me backtrack to any occasions I missed celebrating so I could have an excuse to come back. As soon as you walk in, it feels like you're under the sea. They make your dining experience so unique, catering to you down to whether you want fruit in your water or volcanic salt with your meal. While Blue Pearl already reels you in with the ambiance and unique experiences, they continue to impress with their food. Because I came here with multiple people, we split many different apps and entrees. The lobster dumplings were hands down the best appetizer although the scallops were a close runner-up. The dumplings were soooo savory and had such an umami taste. As for the entrees, the fish and chips and filet mignon were truly cooked to perfection and the wasabi potatoes complimented the meal so well.

Yelp
The place is beautiful, I've seen it change many times and can't believe how different they've made it. Giving underwater vibes the aesthetics are amazing and the view of the city is adorable. The service from the moment you walked in Brooke (our host) was welcoming and friendly the servers all knew the menu well and had beautiful explanations of the food. Although the Presentation was beautiful the food lacked some taste and not worthy of the city pricing. I hope this improves and I hope this place becomes a stable in the Urby.

Yelp
Blue Pearl is a beautiful restaurant with fantastic service, but unfortunately the food is just mediocre. We started with lobster rolls (lobster bisque) and the crab cake. The lobster rolls (lobster bisque) were very good and the best dish of the night. The crab cake was TERRIBLE! It the worst crab cake I ever had! It was so bad I couldn't even eat it! The crab meat tasted off and their was a nasty tasting sauce underneath! For dinners we had the Chilean sea bass and the crab cavatelli. The Chilean sea bass was mediocre, but the forbidden rice it came with wasn't good at all! Chilean sea bass is supposed to melt in your mouth, and this one didn't. It was rather stiff for being Chilean sea bass. The crab cavatelli dish came with lots of crab, but the dinner was very bland! I wouldn't come back. Your paying a high price for mediocre food.

Yelp
New restaurant alert. Decor is extravagant and beautiful, it's a nautical theme with mermaids, ocean decor etc. The service is impeccable, waitstaff always checking on you. They are very informative of the menu. You never have to look for anyone to get what you need. Now for the food..Highly recommended the steak and the sushi. The prime skirt steak was some of the best steak I have had. Sushi fresh. The waygu gyoza and crispy rice were average, taste not comparable with pricing. Crab cake was perfect. Caviar service was amazing coming with creme fraiche, onions, and boiled egg whites and yolks, it came with mini toast and blini. The pasta dishes were okay. The complaints that I do have for this place is they charged 44 dollars for credit card without notice. Not sure why it is that much extra on the bill just to pay with card (different cash price) Parties of 6 gratuity is already added. Overall atmosphere was upscale and nice for a night out.

Yelp
Love love love! If you get Dana as your waitress you are very lucky. She just has this smile and attitude that brightens your day. The decorations and ambient are wonderful. It's nice to see a nautical theme restaurant in Staten Island. What we ordered: Teriyaki Beef Sushi ($28): The best sushi I have ever had and I am Asian..... the flavors complimented each other so fricken well. It is so perfect. Scallop Appetizer ($29): this was okay. The scallops were super fresh but I wouldn't exactly order again. Crab Cake ($29): love love love!!! The sauce they had on it complimented it so well! Charred Octopus ($26): not bad, definitely had better octopus. Was a bit chewy then I liked. New England Roll ($26): was really good, best and closest thing we have to a Boston/Maine lobster roll but the hot ones are definitely better Lobster Bisque Roll ($30): honestly give me 15 of these... it taste like a lobster bisque soup but in a roll. The bread was so buttery and the lobster was so flavorful Red Sangria ($14): one of the better ones Poached Pear Almond Cake ($16): super interesting, the coconut flakes are spectacular and you have to have a bite of everything on the dishes in one spoon. Amazing

Yelp
If you are the bar, I hope you get Nina! She was such a doll and recommended great drinks and food options. We came in on a Saturday night, a bit busy but very fast customer service. I ordered the mocktails bc of all the ingredients but added rum and tequila in each of them. The spicy shrimp was great, wasn't a fan of the crab cake but the edamame made up for it! Cool lively place.

Yelp
*Note: Children under the age of 13 is not allowed during Friday or Saturday evenings* Blue Pearl provides a romantic waterfront dining experience, where its interior design is spacious and aesthetically pleasing. They have a second floor area and a private room for those who would like a more intimate and quiet dining experience. Vivien and Diogo took great care of us and kindly helped remedied the mild issues we encountered. For drinks my wife ordered the taro tea latte which was on the sweeter side, and I ordered the regular iced latte, which was on the milder side. The taro was definitely better than the regular latte, but that's just our subjective perspective. We ordered the matcha pancake to share, which had a nice balance between the bitterness of the matcha cream and sauce, and the sweet and tanginess of its fresh pineapple and strawberry accompaniment! We also had the lobster bisque lobster roll, where although the portion is quite tiny (as evident in the picture with the strawberry for size comparison), it was still quite flavorful and fresh; definitely interested to try their truffle flavor next time! Our steak and eggs brunch was delicious, where the savory black garlic aioli paired perfectly with the steak and potato Mille-feuille. Overall the food was good and the service was great. Vivien and Diolo both checked in on us multiple times and definitely cared to provide us with an optimal dining experience. We came for brunch and would love to come back for dinner one day. The only minor critique I have was a pesky little fly roaming around our dining table, which I understand can happen at times, but I hope something can be done to ensure it doesn't detract from the romantic and elegant dining experience that Blue Pearl strives to provide! So if you're looking for a romantic and intimate dining experience with a spectacular waterfront view, Blue Pearl definitely fits that description! Thank you for reading and best of luck! (:

Yelp
Blue Pearl nails it on every level from the moment that you enter this exquisite space. The food, Seafood/ Asian fusion is delightfully inspired and that Bang Bang Margarita was terrific! The waterside location overlooking the Verranzzano is a beautiful spot. Can't wait to go again, and worth every penny.

Yelp
Make your reservation now! Thank me later! They confirmed my res. I made a few requests since it was my 10 wedding anniversary and they made sure everything was in place. Down to the table I requested. We walked in and Chef Peter Botros and Manager Jon Cole were right in front waiting to greet you. The audience!!! OMG!! Talk about attention to detail. Even the way the waiters are dressed. Their aprons and shoes caught my eye. Their aprons have a slot for their pen and they all had shinning brown shoes. Clean and sharp!! Drinks- My husband loves Old Fashions and he ordered Open Sesame. I'm not a drinker I loved they had a nice mocktail selection. I asked our waiter Brian what he recommended. He said the Matcha Mojito. A must try!! Food- Well where do I start. Lobster Roll to die for, Seafood Tower for 2, more like for 4, and the Rice. It was a black rice with flavors that were dancing in my mouth. I'm from West Africa. We know our rice. I'm telling you, unbelievable! There is a surprise after the seafood tower. I will not spoil that for you all. Brian was amazing!! Dessert- The Manager Jon who came to our table almost every 10 mins recommended a drink. It was lavender. He did that because I was undecided on dessert. He said you all try this drink, if you like it I have the perfect dessert. He was spot on. The dessert is a lavender light cake that is just right and not to sweet. The drinks did complement it. Everyone is on point. They are all intoned with the guests, the manager Jon is present speaking to everyone in a truly genuine way to make sure everything meets your expectations. What amazing way to celebrate our anniversary. See you all there soon!!

Yelp
This was an extraordinary night out The staff from the doorman to the hostess the chef and the manager were exceptionally gracious and professional. The decor is thoughtfully executed with a calming seafarer touch with royal blue and muted golden accents. The contrast of styles within the drink menu, all the classic wine favorites including rose white and reds is excellent. The small plates and appetizer menu is vast and varied. And the entrees will be satisfying to all who enjoy not only seafood but also land and vegan dishes. This place is spectacular.

Yelp
This place is lovely: the service was TOP NOTCH! Haven't had service like that in a while. Our waiter was Alex. He was very knowledgeable, patient and made plenty of wonderful recommendations. The crispy spicy shrimp was out of this world. The crispy rice was top quality, the caviar tasting was simple and delicious. Excellent caviar. The manager was super sweet- she kept asking how we were doing. They are very worried about first impressions. I loved this spot. Will definitely be back

Yelp
If you are looking to go out for a fun night with Instagramabble views and a beautiful atmosphere- this is the spot. If you are a foodie..... there is a lot left to be desired. The sushi rolls were good, not Great. The lobster rolls were subpar and everything else I tasted on the menu felt " your regular sushi spot" not a high end restaurant. The cocktails were also very good, but again nothing that blew my mind. The interior, the service and the vibe of the restaurant do not match the quality of fhe food being served. I was hoping for more. Would I go back? Maybe for cocktails with the girls or before/ after a dinner date. Definitely not for the food.

Leviza M.

Yelp
I liked the place and the food, will be back for the sushi! the only person to remember us and that it was my husband's birthday was a young man who opened the door for us and greeted us. The service was off. We did not feel special. Our drinks were 30 mins late but it was the first thing we ordered, new tables were served quicker, everything, food or drinks. Just doesn't feel like the place met its standards .Thanks

Yelp
The combination of great food and a thoughtfully designed atmosphere can really make a meal special. I've had the pleasure of dining at the Blue Pearl twice , once with friends for lunch and once with colleagues for dinner. Located on Staten Island with clear views of the harbor (weather permitting), the elevated nautical motif conveys a clear and direct concept. The thematic design with whimsical elements, immerses guests in a maritime atmosphere while maintaining a sophisticated vibe. The dishes are versatile enough to work for both large groups and solo diners. Both times I have dined at the Blue Pearl have been with larger groups (6+ people, not including myself); I love sharing meals in larger groups because I feel the meal becomes an experience. I was thrilled to find this spot because it is not only great in terms of food but also able to comfortably accommodate a larger group and maintain incredible service. The "Tartare Treasure Box for Two" and the "Five Spice Potato Mille Feuille" were standouts for me and I highly recommend them! The "Heat Wave" mocktail with its spicy kick added a unique touch to the meal, and the visually stunning presentation of the "Thai tiramisu" was such a clever twist on a classic. I love finding places that hit all the right notes--quality, freshness, and creativity. Even if it's a bit of a splurge, when everything comes together so well, it's worth every penny.

Yelp
Had an awesome night out with my wife. Great vibes, good food, and solid service from start to finish. Always a good time when we get to kick back and enjoy a nice meal together. Nights like these are just what we need.

Yelp
The ambiance was so nice let's not talk the service it was incredible the food to good !

Jafry M.

Yelp
I would like sorrow put the positives and there are many. The atmosphere of the place is beautiful very comfortable chairs. The servers were excellent our server Lilly was super professional well dressed everybody has the same uniform on all the way down to the shoes attention to details is an immaculate. The food tasted good. Now here is a problem. The same management group must own many restaurants in Staten Island because they are very petty. We got the Wagyu tacos if I put all 5 pieces together, it equals one bite, they charge for sparkling waters. $12 a bottle. They keep opening it as if it is free but then hit you with the bill not cool at all. I walked out there feeling ripped off while I enjoyed my food and the atmosphere I still felt ripped off at the end of the day.

Yelp
Food is spectacular. Charred octopus w hummus and spicy mayo. Crab cakes. Chilean sea bass was like butter.Cavetelli with crab was incredible. The service, the decor and, of course, the food. Perhaps the best meal,we've had on Staten Island. Outstanding experience!

Charlize L.

Yelp
This place is so delicious. The bartenders are so friendly! Nina was a pleasure to have. I came for dinner and the next day for happy hour. The quality of food, you can't beat. Definitely the place to be on the north shore! 10/10. Definitely a layback vibe during the day.

Yelp
The food was delish. The service is great and the views of the Verazzano bridge and Manhattan are fabulous!

Yelp
As I have been exploring Staten Island This has been by far the best Ambiance and service 10/10 , decor is very nice upscale n calming Service was amazing felt like a queen Drinks great 10/10 I had a moonshine shot and a Lychee martini it was great !!! Food was amazing but let's talk about the truffle cauliflower 10000000/10 if I could eat this every day I would be vegan Bang bang shrimp was great but I was obsessed with the cauliflower Oysters were amazing I got the blue point 6pcs To go we had the truffle tso chicken , spicy sweet and savory at the same time . I can't wait to go back

Yelp
What an amazing place! From the decor to the delicious food to the outstanding customer service-this restaurant cannot get any better! 5 stars plus across the board!

Yelp
So pretty inside and great menu. Had the best waitress- Dana- who had the cutest eyeglasses ( blue ) and the best hair... everything she recommended was delicious from the teriyaki roll to the Creme brûlée dessert. Will definitely be back.

Yelp
The setting is lovely and owners were attentive. The standout dishes for our table were the charred octopus and the Chilean Sea Bass. We found the petite seafood tower underwhelming and very expensive. The halibut was a seasonal dish that didn't deliver on taste and didn't have much in the way of sides - a portion of quarter of corn cob. Overall it was very expensive. I want local restaurants to succeed but I left this place feeling hungry and a couple of hundred dollars poorer.

Dee B.

Yelp
Let me preface by saying that we have always been pleased with Chef Peter's other establishments and we are big fans of Pastavino, so we couldn't wait to see what this restaurant was going to offer. From the minute we got to the door, there was a doorman who called in ahead to alert the reservation staff. We were asked if we wanted indoor or outdoor dining & because it was hot outside we picked inside. SO glad we did! The decor is absolutely gorgeous! The staff definitely thought through every detail! WOW! We were seated & put our drink order in & viewed the menu. Asian/seafood fusion is the vibe here. My husband got the shrimp cocktail- huge shrimp with an array of sauces that were explained. I had spicy crispy shrimp app, delicious & spicy! In between courses, they came to the table with fresh lemon & hot towels so you can clean your hands- so classy!! My husband had the salmon entree & I had their version of General Tso's chicken- again both delicious & plated so beautifully! Desserts also different & delicious! I am not a coffee drinker & most restaurants don't give thought to tea drinkers. Not Chef Peter! Not only did they come out with a tea box but came over with sugar cubes ( including turbinado, my fave) & placed the cubes in my tea. I have never felt so indulged!!! Call me Sugar Cube! Blue Pearl has set such a high standard not only for food but for service! Every detail is amazing! You MUST visit, especially if you're looking for a new luxury experience here in SI! Host John makes the experience even better! We wish Chef Peter & his team so much luck in this endeavor! It is the perfect compliment to Pastavino's elegant dining experience. Lastly, in regard to the review mentioning no children after 5pm... while I understand it's an inconvenience to some, we as a couple with grown children welcome a restaurant where we can enjoy a beautiful dinner with an adult vibe. Honestly, at their price point I would be surprised that people would bring kids, LOL.

Yelp
Upscale ambiance. Sat at the bar and had some delicious lychee martinis and the small plates were delicious. Lamb chops were perfection. And bartender nice friendly dude

Yelp
Our party of 6 had a fabulous time last night. The restaurant is spacious, not like some places where the tables are placed so close together, you feel like you're dining with strangers. The food was delicious and the presentation, exquisite! We had shrimp cocktail, fried calamari, oysters, sushi, ravioli, steak and seafood. The chocolate lava cake with fresh coconut ice cream hit the spot. Unique cocktails & plenty of wine choices. We are definitely heading back. It's a Manhattan vibe in our own backyard. Parking is convenient as there is a self-park lot across the street or valet.

Richard S.

Yelp
The first time i came to this restaurant it was amazing. This second time it was very disappointing, the sushi and steak took almost an hour to come out when the restaurant was empty. Instead of seating me where it was an open table I had to sit at a smaller one when i was told it was reserved when it wasn't. The sushi came out looking like it was from 7/11. Very disappointed.

Yelp
Our dining experience at Blue Pearl Restaurant was superior on every level. The beautifully decorated environment added multitudes to the overall vibe. The location is exceptional, with views of the NYC skyline and the Narrows. You are met at the door by the valet and doorman. The venue is sumptuous, but calming, with a hint of sea serenity. The colors were masterfully chosen, even adding touches of golden sparkle, to further elevate the senses. The menu is beyond exceptional on every level. Blue Pearl presents a phenomenal fish menu, beyond compare. The Raw Bar is superb. The Kumamoto Oysters were delicious, texture was remarkable, with six different sauces to complete every palette. Our Lobster Rolls, topped with Caviar, were beyond superb. The Yellow Tail Tuna Crudo was prepared with culinary precision. After our starter menu, our hands were delicately drizzled with warm lemons and wrapped in warm hand towels. Staff is beyond extraordinary; attentive to our every whim. For dessert, Taro Crepe Cake and our Coconut Tarotini dessert cocktail topped the dinner off supremely. Diogo is the master bartender, carefully creating each cocktail with precision, while offering his expertise about the formulation of each cocktail. Blue Pearl also presents an upstairs Private Party Room, with gorgeous NYC views. Thank you, Chef and Owner Peter Botros, for creating and elevating the dining experience, on Staten Island, on so many levels. Thank you also to Blue Pearl Manager, John Cole, for welcoming us graciously upon arrival, and sharing your expertise with us on so many levels.

The food was exquisite. I ordered the lobster roll bisque and it was perfect. I also ordered fried calamari and I enjoyed the sauce very much and they were well cooked. I also ordered a mocktail with some rose water: delicious. The service was excellent. The ambiance is cool, music is not loud, you can talk and the decoration is sea related. It lifts your spirits.

Yelp
The only positive of the night was our server Elizabeth, what an absolute Gem. Between the laughs and food suggestions she really loves what she does. The food is very sub par, ordered the clams to start and heavily disappointed. The rib eye steak for two was horrible, about half the steak was straight up white fatty blubber. When finally mentioning it to a female manager, her only response was "rib eye steaks are usually fatty". So my wife and I had about 3 pieces of steak each. Probably will never return there

Yelp
Beautiful restaurant decorated with hues of iridescent blues. The cocktails and menu very different, exotic and delicious. The staff was also very friendly and attentive. Highly recommend!

Yelp
Food is amazing ordered the salmon and steak, both were perfect. The vibe is perfect for a date night. The service was great, and owner was very friendly. Will be back soon.

Yelp
What a truly memorable dining experience in all facets. Our evening started out in Manhattan, where we hopped on the Staten Island Ferry; which only added to the experience. From there, we were picked up by the friends that invited us, and traveled the short distance to the restaurant. The staff was upbeat and pleasant. As soon as we entered, the vibe, layout and atmosphere were all first rate. I later found out that it wasn't the owner/chef's first foray into restauranteering. I found myself having a tough time deciding which dishes to select, as so many sounded desirable. I had anticipated that we would mostly be mostly ordering seafood, but as a lark, ordered the entree, Truffle General Tso's Chicken as an appetizer. We loved it. The drinks were also memorable. Everyone's tasted great. From the oysters, scallops, salmon, lobster; to the Pink Pineapple desert, everything was exemplary. We will definitely be coming back and taking a crack at the rest of the menu.
