They make very good fried chicken. Glad there's now a location in the very popular and booming Hell's Kitchen area. The staff here are incredibly friendly and helpful. Very welcoming and refreshing in this neighborhood. This location is more like a fast food place in terms of the menu, layout and decor. Clean and bright place. The food is good and they have a small selection of IPA beers in the can. Handicapped accessible entrance, seating and restrooms. Check this place out.

If, in an alternative universe, Colonel Sanders was a northerner, kept his food local and tasty and lived in a hip part of New York City, he'd be slinging up chicken at Blue Ribbon Fried Chicken. However, in the world we live in, the Colonel is now the face of the 20 piece bucket (of grease) deal, and the Bromberg Bros have picked up the mantle of finger licking goodness. Having a selection of chicken and sides in front of us when we sat down, I offhandedly remarked "boy, they're serving us everything but the beak!". Little did I know they would also be frying up the beak (and neck and heart and liver too). Unsurprisingly, it all tasted like chicken! But each piece was more tasty than the next, fried without being overly greasy, zesty without being overbearing, juicy without being raw. With all the well seasoned and fried meat, putting it on a sandwich seemed to detract from the flavor by masking the juicy white meat with a carby bun and lettuce. This chicken is better pure and clean, no fancy dress up needed. Finally to top off the night, the Nutella milkshake was the perfect sweet taste on top of the meal.

This location has been open for 10 days and when we went today, everything was great. Food came out fast and chicken was crispy, and the fries weee spot on. The staff were very friendly and came to check on us during our dinner to make sure we were enjoying our food. By 7pm there was a line already!

Must try this local Fried Chicken joint. Besides chicken every which way, they serve all parts, beak to Butt. Ha ha Their signature Blue Ribbon Fried Chicken sandwich is the way to go. Boneless and crispy with all the fixings. Boneless tenders also available. My favorite were the wings. Made with matzoh meal and flour, then the rub is last. Fried, tender, juicy, and crispy. Pair any of these with their in-house made dipping sauces and you'll be on Cloud 9. Think wasabi honey, wildflower honey, Chipotle honey, barbeque, and habanero hot sauce. Don't forget to wash it all down with alcohol or their premium Ice Cream milkshakes. Nutella and strawberry were my favorites. The Beers come canned and they have hard cider too. Not feeling just the chicken, try the gizzards or liver ... Fried to perfection. And you can't forget the sides... Bacon, Cheddar cheese fries/ sweet potato fries/ regular fries, pickled cucumbers, and Cole slaw two ways. Excellent menu for post work happy hour, snack time, or family time.

I was so disappointed with the fried chicken since I loved BRFC after the first time I had it in Vegas. But this time I tried it in NYC and I didn't like it at all infact I left it. I won't say you will have the same experience that I had. It was way better in Vegas than what I had in NYC that is my thoughts.

Excellent fried chicken - it tastes like homemade! Would highly recommend the tenders and the house salad. The lady serving me tonight was also super nice and friendly.

I originally thought the prices were expensive, but when I tried the food (chicken sandwich, Mac n cheese and sweet potato fries) I thought different. The portions were large and everything was so savory. A must try in my opinion.

The chicken was extremely dry and the different honeys and sauces helped me to get it down As a caviot I ordered the tender supreme Wouldn't suggest getting the sweet potato frys over the regular frys as I've had both and in my personal opinion the regular frys are superior The Cole slaw is very vinegary and not as sweet as you might like it I'm just saying If I want to get fried chicken I'll wait to go home to southern california where there's different but definitely biased tasting notes by my self I didn't particularly like the chicken here but you just might
