Never had Japanese cold brew before. It was excellent. Staff is knowledgeable about the different roasts they sell and brewing methods. Nice outdoor seating area. Great little coffee spot!

Stopped by on my bike on a beautiful day and was met with a great vibe right away. The barista was super friendly, and there were lots of drink options for all kinds of tastes. I went with the nitro cold brew since it was warm out—totally hit the spot. Grabbed a seat at the bar facing the street and just enjoyed the whole experience. Awesome coffee, chill atmosphere—definitely recommend!

It wasn’t a pleasant experience. I ordered a matcha latte, but they didn’t whisk the matcha well at all. My drink was so powdery, it was honestly pretty disgusting. Also, they could really improve their service. The barista poured the milk all the way to the top of the cup, and the lids were placed far away, so it was really inconvenient and messy to carry my drink over just to put a lid on it. Meanwhile, the barista just stood there watching instead of offering any help.

Small coffee shop. I got a Japanese iced coffee with an everything croissant with cream cheese! Will come back to try more soon!

Great spot for coffee and a light pastry! This place is usually popping, which is a great sign! Coffee game is on point and tons of seating outside while catching up with your friends!

Cute coffee shop. They make their syrups in house. They don’t have many flavors to choose from. I thought it was good, but could have been better for sure. I got an iced honey vanilla latte with oat milk. They have a free parking lot right beside it, they also have outdoor seating, along with inside.

Went here for the first time the other day. I'm always on the hunt of a good chai. And let me tell you - they have one of the best! It's a beautiful balance of spice, not too sweet, not too spicy. Not to quote Goldilocks- but it's just right!

Got a mocha to go and sat outside the cafe, it was quick service and good coffee! Next time I'll have to try one of their pastries. It's a small little place inside but again the outside seating was nice.

Amazing service, ambiance, pastries and coffee! We got the almond croissant, vanilla latte and the drip coffee. We can't wait to come back and try more. The outdoor area is also beautiful and a great place to catch up with friends.

The good: This is a cute little coffee shop in a trendy little area in Denver. Denver has plenty of great artisanal coffee spots and Blue Sparrow shouldn't be spared. Their lattes are perfectly made and their latte art is on point. The interior has around 5-6 tables for two people. There are some high chairs for people watching. There's outdoor seating as well and some shopping spots outside so it's nice to grab coffee and walk around here. They sell classic pastries as well like croissants and cookies. The service was prompt. The prices are fair and the menu is simple and straight forward. The bad: It's a really small shop so it's more for grabbing a drink then going or sitting a little bit rather than studying all day. The interesting: They have a 2nd location in Denver as well. They sell merchandise like sweaters and candles.

This is my favorite coffee shop in the RiNo area! Just a couple minutes from my apartment, I come here often! I have truly never had a bad coffee here, and the staff is always so kind! They have indoor and outdoor seating, always have delicious seasonal options! Denver has dozens of amazing coffee shops but Blue Sparrow truly is a treat.

The ambiance is a whole vibe! It's elegant with fun magazines and decor to keep you entertained! It was a great working space, although I went for fun, many people had their laptops out working. The lemon poppy loaf bread was yummy, and I enjoyed my espresso shot with Carmel. He made it perfectly and filled it up to the top!

Cute place with plenty of options for outdoor seating and comfortable blue interior seats for working quietly, studying, reading or lounging with friends. This was our first stop for our Colorado trip and it lives up to expectations ~

This shop is adorable and the ambiance is lovely. The building is open to the outside so it's perfect for Denver weather patio days. Great natural lighting and chill place if you need to work. The day we were there they had the best playlist and I was loving the vibes! I had an iced tea that was super refreshing. Service was good. 10/10 recommend!

Best latte I had while in Colorado. Located inside a little shopping area in RiNo, my latte was creamy and delicious! There was a line, but it moves quickly. There's indoor and outdoor seating.

Worth the try: Japanese iced coffee Japanese Iced Coffee: it is what it is--Japanese iced coffee, plain and simple. I asked what makes it "Japanese" and the staff said it's the process of how the coffee is made. Overall, it's a great iced coffee. Light, smooth, refreshing, everything I'd want an iced coffee to be. Some shops have burnt and/or bitter iced coffee, and this one is definitely not that. SERVICE: There weren't too many people when we went, staff was helpful and got our drinks to us fast. PARKING: Located in RiNo, so limited street parking available nearby. ATMOSPHERE: Small shop with a few tables for seating. Walkable to tons of other shops nearby. I was looking for a coffee shop nearby after having brunch at the Denver Central Market, so my friends and I made our way towards Blue Sparrow. Love how simple this place is, and the coffee is great. Good spot if you're looking to get your coffee fix.

Cute cafe with some indoor seating, plenty of outdoor seating, and a large upstairs patio. Would be a great place to study or work. We got an iced oat milk latte, iced matcha latte, and Japanese iced coffee. Unfortunately I didn't get photos of the drinks because we all started drinking them right away, but each drink was really good and worth getting!

Wonderful little coffee shop with really quick service. Little tucked away so make sure to keep a look out. Great seating indoor and outdoor too!

So good! Stopped by after the airport and it was so refreshing. My friends and I got lattes and a matcha latte. Everything was super tasty. Also not too sweet.

Cutest coffee spot! They have 3 tables inside but when it's nice out the courtyard in front is perfect gets sun during the day. They also have the rooftop- haven't been up there but it is on my list next time. I will only get my matcha oat milk lattes here, they are made with love and SO good. The kind soles who work here are so friendly and so a great job of recommending something if you are not sure what to get.

After lunch, I wanted something cold and refreshing and this was a good choice. I had iced flat white. It definitely was a nice refreshment on a hot day.

Recently visited Denver for the first time and a friend recommended this place to me. I'm a bit of a coffee snob (oat milk latte), so she really took a risk ;) Happy to report this was a quaint little spot with great coffee and a fresh cookie, to boot! The location of this particular coffee shop also struck me - the vibe is so chill and inviting. If I lived locally, I would often be here working.

Ever get excited to try a hip cute coffee shop but then be let down? I'm not sure if I had high expectations coming to Blue Sparrow based on the reviews and the cute interior, but the iced Japanese iced coffee just wasn't to my liking and underwhelming. It definitely is fruity and on the lighter side. There's also an additional added charge for to go cups. To be honest, I don't mind the extra charge, but I wasn't even asked if I was taking my coffee to go or sitting in store and no alternative cup choice was offered. Hope to have another chance to try the other coffee drinks based on all the 5 star reviews, but my first visit here is only 3 stars. Parking: Small parking lot close to Blue Sparrow that offers the first 30 minutes free.

I'm a fan of the original Blue Sparrow, and this location has the same excellent espresso and fine service (and $$$ prices!) They make real flat whites, not like some other places we won't mention. This coffee shop is a tad smaller and looks more like a European-style coffee bar, although there is some cozy seating here. I love this funky little neighborhood too. Good coffee, good people. Thanks for being open on a Sunday afternoon!

I picked this spot to meet up with a friend. Neither of us had been here before. I got an espresso, and my friend got the Matcha Latte. I can't wait to come back and try the Matcha Latte (my friend let me have a soup and it was magical!). Indoor and outdoor seating make this a great place for any weather. It's located in my favorite neighborhood in Denver, RiNo. Grab a drink and walk around the area!

This location is in the lobby of a Hotel/ living complex? -- but its super chill vibes with great wifi connection. The music selection is always on point and has range from hiphop to slow jams. The baristas are kind and make your beverage with love. I particularly love the oat milk iced matcha lattes from Blue Sparrow Coffee. The pastry selection is limited yet tasteful. From salty items, like ham and cheese croissant to sweet, like vanilla custard cruffin-- you can't go wrong from devouring these morsels! Last but not least they have a punch card, any café that offers a punch card is a top tier for meeee! Stop by this location if not, google one that's closer in your area!

Cute little spot with great outdoor space. If you're looking for a table this is the place for you. It's a tiny little shop but the outdoor space is awesome and quiet. The matcha was so so good as well. It's a great place to get some work done or read a book.

Such a great little place to pop by and enjoy a delish cold brew on the patio with a tasty pastry! A few local shops surround this spot so if you want to peruse while you sip on your tasty coffee you can totally do so! I'll be back soon to try some more pastries but the ham and cheese one was great and big!

The location was great. One of the best place for coffee. The food was so good and well-baked. The inside was so cool and it was lovely. So many great options. I like the Vanilla Latte, the flavor was good and not so sweet. The aroma was was so good. Fantastic coffee shop place. The service was so nice. Friendly staff.

A cute coffee shop connected to Wework! The barista was very knowledgeable with the different beans they offered. My mocha with oatmilk was quite enjoyable.

Coffee was great but the barista who took my order was rude and it put a bad taste in my mouth. Probably won't return, especially based on how expensive it was.

Cute store, great staff and service. The iced vanilla latte tasted great but was tiny. I've never seen such a small cup of coffee and with tip it was $7. Not exactly worth the price I paid.

Blue Sparrow's a modern, stark, intimate space with great coffee, tea, milk, and pastry choices. Make the healthy selection of matcha, golden latte, or a golden match latte (my fav). Great rhino neighborhood location, and they have free parking in a lot about 1/2 block south. You just input your license number at the kiosk, and choose the 30 minute free option.

Stopped in with for coffee with a friend and was completely taken by Blue Sparrow. Firstly, the barista who helped us was so cheerful and kind, which felt like a curtain being lifted on my grumpy morning. Thank you for that, sir! The coffee was perfectly wonderful with great flavor and texture. Sitting outside at the tables out front, I felt my brain come back to life. This location is busy but not slammed or hectic in any way; it felt like a stylish but unpretentious neighborhood spot. Just so pleasant!

I found for go-to favorite coffee shop. I'm a coffee snob and this place meets my taste! Japanese Iced Coffee - refreshing light perfect ice coffee balance - try it first before adding milk CBD iced coffee - good balance for caffeine and calmness - first time trying - anything infused with CBD. Pricer than most coffees Matcha Latte with Oat milk - amazing, strong and balanced with milk. I'm used to the watery lack of green tea taste and this one was strong with taste. Cute decor, minimal - 8 tables, bar stools eats small inside. With a ton of outdoor shared space and a roof top patio! Good views and plenty of space for all, not it can get sunny and hot. Service - minus one star - I've come twice and asked recommendation between two options and both times they just shrugged and say it's your choice. Not a huge deal. Any suggestion or their personal choice would of helped. Plenty of street parking. Overall great place, I will be back soon!

Despite the tight space, the place is vibrant! I've been here a few times and I have not been disappointed. There seems to always be remote workers hanging around and the place is always sparkling clean. The coffee tastes great and I just love the matcha option! Such a cute coffee shop in the RiNo area plus its located in an area where if you are taking your coffee to go you can browse some boutiques or maybe get yourself a new houseplant!

Decided to stop by before heading to the airport. It's a small but cute coffee spot. I could see it getting pretty loud when it's a full house so might not be the best place to get some work done. Matcha latte - one of the more creamier matcha lattes I've had. The matcha flavor is a good medium, not too strong or subtle. I appreciated how the latte had a hint of sweetness. Service was great! Super friendly barista! Also I really liked their playlist so that's always a plus :)

Delicious coffee and a flakey, sugary crisp morning bun made this the perfect AM stop on my trip to Denver. The indoor area is small but there is plenty of outdoor seating too! They were friendly and efficient. I will go back!

I wasn't super impressed with their coffee or service. The person working the register was quite flat. Very cute location though. Maybe I just didn't get the right thing, but their cold brew just didn't have a good flavor and the sweetener wasn't mixed in well. I would try here again if I was in the area, hopefully better luck next time!

Best coffee shop in Rino to work at in my opinion (when the weather is nice) they have a rooftop patio that has shaded and sunny spots. The coffee is great and staff is always really friendly. Highly recommend. Plus they have cute coffee related dog toys! Check them out

Blue Sparrow Coffee has been on my bookmarks for quite some time and I finally made it happen. I, of course, had to do what I always do at a new coffee shop and try their chai. It was such a hot day so I got an iced chai that really hit the spot. It had a great balance of sweet and spice, which most coffee places don't seem to get right. But Blue Sparrow Coffee made me one happy chai tea loving camper! The shop itself is small but beautifully done. They also have a great outdoor patio area that we can all appreciate right now during these unique times. The staff were all super pleasant and helpful when I was looking through some coffee beans to take home.

My girlfriend suggested this little coffee shop because she was going to an interview close by. What a cute little place. The barista was quite warm and welcoming. I tend to find that local coffee shop baristas are not that warm so this was a delight. The menu is fairly limited, which is fine, given the size of the shop. I opted for the cappuccino, always a good barometer for my enjoyment of the coffee. It arrived beautifully decorated in the cream, which alway makes me smile when someone takes pride in what they do. The drink was perfect... creamy goodness in a cup! Standing at counter ordering, there were a tempting assortment of croissant goodies before me. Very hard to resist! :) With just 5 tables and 4 counter stools, I can see that it would fill up here quickly but I'll definitely be back when I'm in the area.

Coffee is strong and tasty. Frizzy hair baristas rude attitude was just as strong as the coffee. Too bad he's representing this business. Hopefully he's not the owner. I'd rather have an ok cup of coffee with a pleasant environment than a good cup with a negative vibe.

I was in Denver for the day and searched a few spots to get my matcha fix. I decided on Blue Sparrow after reading many positive matcha reviews. I ordered a hot matcha latte with almond milk (Note: the 3 non-dairy options offered are almond, oat, and coconut milk). I was delighted to find that they prepared the matcha using the traditional method with a whisk and hot water before adding the frothed milk. This made for an extremely smooth latte. Also, I appreciated that I could order the matcha unsweetened, allowing the tea to shine. Many coffee shops have sugar already blended in their matcha mix so this was important to me. There were a few cramped booths and a small bar facing an outdoor window for indoor seating, but plenty of outdoor seating. I chose a spot on the rooftop to enjoy my tea in the sunshine. Matcha lovers - this is a great option for an ultra creamy latte in Denver!

First time in Colorado and exploring cool coffee shops. The inside is small and cozy. Cashier was nice and she let me taste their nitro cold brew. It tasted good but I ended up ordering a triple shot espresso over ice. It's strong but tastes really good. It was a hot day in Denver. I found street parking a few steps down from Blue Sparrow, located in the RiNo neighborhood. After ordering some cold brew from the register, I sat upstairs. There wasn't much shade or any electrical outlets there, but it was just one phone l needed to take. When I settled in, I realized I forgot to ask for the WiFi information. Oops. Being a little lazy, I called the Blue Sparrow office, and the lady who answered gave me instructions. It was WiFi for the whole building, adjacent co-working space and all. In the future, I'd love to check out the co-working space. The cold brew was tasty. Eventually I used the restroom in the building's common corridor then relocated inside Blue Sparrow where there was A/C. They're friendly and accommodating. Even when they closed at 6pm I could still work from the public patio, as toasty as it was outside. Great spot overall!

I'm head over heels for Blue Sparrow Coffee! Such a quaint, cozy coffee shop with wonderful service, a beautiful interior, and the ambiance to power you through your work day. I stumbled upon Blue Sparrow the morning before taking the Professional Engineer (PE) Exam (if you are, or know, any engineers, this is the big licensure exam. It's long, intense, and requires far too many reference books). While driving to the National Western Stock Show to prep myself for the following morning, I decided to pop in here as rush hour traffic dissipated. Good choice! Upon entering, I was a bit surprised by how narrow the shop was. It's no giant Starbucks, but it's just the right size. For my studying purposes, I squeezed together two tables (they seat 2 each)- staff was kind and didn't mind at all. Each table is pre-set with a bottle of water and glasses. Huge plus! I always find it nice to stay hydrated, and I really thought this was a nice touch- particularly from a coffee shop. I ordered up a green tea matcha latte. It was delicious, complete with an adorable leaf print in the latte foam. I really like when coffee shops offer matcha lattes- it's nice to have options when it's not a coffee kinda day. Blue Sparrow does not skimp out- they go all out! Finally, the overall ambiance is inviting of productivity. I'm not sure I can put a finger on it exactly- perhaps the early morning sunlight? The small, intimate shop? The warm latte? Either way, despite being moderately busy with folks coming in and out all morning, I was able to pull a solid few hours of studying in without being too distracted. I can hardly wait till my path crosses Blue Sparrow again. What an adorable, welcoming shop!

I stumbled upon Blue Sparrow when I needed to grab some gifts for friends at a store across the alley and knew I had to try the place. Hoping to get some work done, I came on a Saturday morning and it was not crowded or busy. They made a solid latte which kept me awake while I attempted to read a medical book. The only one gripe I have with this location is the tables are very narrow (5 tables in total), so you won't be able to spread all your stuff out. I prefer their new location on Platt street (see my review) since the store is bigger.

Love love love Blue Sparrow! Tucked away in Five Points, BSC is a quaint little shop located on the corner with lots of windows and ample seating indoors and outside. Their patio is wonderful, covered and allows enough sunlight in to keep you toasty. There's a little courtyard as well with rocking chairs, corn hole and more seating. I ordered an iced matcha almond milk latte while the hubby ordered an iced vanilla latte. My sister loves matcha and I'm not the biggest fan but wanted to give it a whirl. Let me tell you - the matcha was nutty, not overly sweet and paired perfectly with the almond milk. My only regret is ordering a small iced latte. The vanilla latte was extremely sweet but the coffee was smooth and tasty. I'll definitely come back and get a larger glass next time!
