"Bluejacket comes from Neighborhood Restaurant Group, the local hospitality company that stocks all of its bars and restaurants (the Sovereign, Church Key, Iron Gate) full of outstanding beer. Bluejacket always has a staggering number of drafts to choose from, from IPAs to stouts. It’s also a favorite hangout before and after Nationals games. The Arsenal is the on-site restaurant, serving up hearty plates of fish and chips, homestyle meatloaf, and fried chicken sandwiches. Tours are not currently offered, but the bar does host occasional special events." - Tierney Plumb
"Bluejacket was one of the early spots to pop up when the Nats moved from RFK to their Half St. home, and we still like it, especially during the season. The industrial space used to be a Navy factory in the early 1900s, but now it’s full of wooden tables and vats of beer. Skip it on game day when it's too packed to breathe, and instead check it out for a more low-key lunch. The pub food is solid, and there are a few decent vegetarian options. In case it wasn’t obvious, they have an extensive beer menu, a lot of which came from those aforementioned vats." - tristiana hinton, mekita rivas
"A Navy Yard brewery recommended by neighborhood beer authorities and included among the city’s notable beer destinations." - Eater Staff
"This local Navy Yard brewery (with a big patio) opens at 11 a.m. daily." - Missy Frederick
"Guests are invited to “remember yesterday and celebrate tomorrow, today” at the Navy Yard brewery, restaurant, and bar with beer and cocktail specials. Last Word, Old Fashioned, and Hugo Spritz cocktails will be priced at $9, and the beers Yesterdays (an IPA) and Tomorrow, Today (a fruited sour) will be available for $5. Feeling bold, or perhaps a bit woeful? $3 Malort shot. Enough said." - Kalina Newman
