Bluestone Lane Chelsea Piers Café

For the first time we went to Bluestone lane upper east side cafe where flat white and muffins were amazing 🤩 we loved so much that we decided to try at this beautiful location but unfortunately we were extremely disappointed. The flat white and cappuccino were simply milk and coffee mixed, no crema, milk overheated that could not drink and the muffins were hard/old it doesn’t seem to be the same company! On top of that the person who made the coffee came at our table to remove cutlery and napkins 😞 Really bad service, won’t come back again!

We came here very often because of classes next door. The coffee section is always good but the food section is really gross! We always order pancakes. For three pieces of pancakes and a few berries they charge $17( a fair price for the location) but their pancakes are never fluffy and always broken. Sometimes it is even undercooked or burned!I feel bad for the lady who looks already stressed out and the orders keep coming in! We might have to avoid this place for now!

I’ve enjoyed visiting the Bluestone Lane chain at many locations, but the Chelsea Pier 62 branch has a recurring issue. The baristas often drop the paper tabs from tea bags into the cup, which not only causes the tea to over-brew but also detracts from the overall experience. Practically speaking, when the tab sinks into the hot water, I either have to dip my fingers in to retrieve it or use a wooden stick, which isn’t ideal. I’ve mentioned this to the staff before, but unfortunately, the practice hasn’t changed. Other locations manage this better, so I believe this can be easily addressed here as well. A simple fix—like ensuring the tab stays outside the cup—would significantly improve the overall experience.

This restaurant is a hidden gem. The attention to detail is evident in every aspect, from the presentation of the dishes to the exceptional service. The ingredients, the attention and the atmosphere so relaxing for any occasion, without a doubt I would return as many times as necessary.

It was my first time at bluestone lane and it was a 10/10 experience!! The food was absolutely delicious, so fresh and flavorful!! The service was impeccable everyone was so welcoming and friendly. And the icing on the cake was the beautiful atmosphere that takes your experience to the next level!! Will most definitely be returning and highly recommend you give it a try you won't be disappointed!!

It gets chilly inside due to the high traffic of the doors. There is a single bathroom on the ground floor and a single bathroom on the second floor. The Aussie Latte was delicious and so was their Brisket Sandwich. The staff is super nice. I did get confused if seating was sit yourself or wait to be seated.

Today I tried the blue lavender cloud matcha drink it was amazing! The employee that rang me up ironically had a “cloud” tattoo and shared that with me as I which was cute and made for good friendly banter. He welcomed me with a bright radiant smile, didn’t catch his name but I know that’s smile with take him places ! Great atmosphere great drinks.

First time visiting this place since my daughter go to chealsea piers for classes. My daughter had milo with ice cream and it was on point. We both love it Ice latte was ok, not the best Had the brisket bbq sandwich with potato wedges on the side— i was hoping for the wedges to be at least warm but it wasnt, but still crispy , the sandwhich was ok i like the sour dough bread My daughter had banana bread toast and she liked it, berries were very sour Maybe we will just try the take out option.

Great service, Great food. the ambience is amazing im looking forward to comeback For summer time I hope everything is great as it is now.

This location is ideal coupled with the nice weather however the quality of the drinks does not match expectations. I ordered an Iced Coconut Cocoa Mocha via the app and when checking in with the barista, I was in for a rude awakening that they were out of coconut milk, which was the main reason for initially ordering the drink. From a user perspective, it would've been a waste of time if I hadn't check in and asked, plus this was not reflective in the app. If the cafe knew ahead of time they ran out of coconut milk, why wasn't this greyed out as an option in the app? I decided to trek through and just replace the coconut milk with oat milk, however the drink ended up tasting like iced chocolate milk-not one would need after a run or on a Friday morning. I asked for a replacement drink of my usual, which ended up a bit watery and less flavorful than usual, but still better than my starting point. Maybe food is better at this Bluestone Lane location but would definitely recommend checking in with the barista for mobile orders.

The highlight of my visit was the fantastic customer service provided by Sebastian. From the moment I walked in, Sebastian greeted me with a warm smile and was incredibly attentive throughout my time at the cafe. He ensured that my order was taken promptly and even took the time to make sure everything was to my liking once it arrived. His friendly demeanor and genuine care for the customers truly made my experience at Bluestone Lane special. Oh and the Grilled Cheese & Coconut Milk Latte was AMAZING!!! I highly recommend Bluestone Lane to anyone looking for delicious food, excellent coffee, and top-notch service. I will definitely be returning soon!

They were bit short staffed, long lines with a single person making the cold pressed or hand pressed drinks. Inside you have two stories worth of seating and it looks quite nice. The bathroom could cleaned better as it stinks of a wet summer public bathroom. They have some food options but some of the teas they list on their cooler aren't available anymore. Tea was fine though, you could order that and it was prepared much faster since there was no pressing or anything else involved. Also had a guy at the grill who was working on breakfast food.

Absolutely delicious breakfast and perfect touch to end my time in the city. Jorge was very knowledgeable of their offerings and was attentive throughout. The soft chili scramble had just the right amount of spice. The outdoor dining was superb and the Hudson River park added the perfect backdrop. Will definitely be back.

Delicious. And the right portion size to fill up. Dirty chia is exactly what it should be, a fit of spice, nice presentation in a solid vessel. Open and airy inside,plenty of natural light, variety of seating option inside and out. Solid spot to have in your favorites.

I've walked by this place a few times but was hungry today and decided to go in and wow. One of the most amazing sandwiches I've ever had in my life. The sauce was unbelievable. The brisket was perfect. The crust on the bread was perfect. Beautiful spot right by Chelsea Piers. Wasn't too busy, food took about 10 mins. Definitely coming back.

Bluestone Lane Chelsea Piers is brand sparkling new to me. During Covid I've become a fan of outdoor seating. This location has a great patio. I just don't get to this neighborhood very often. Over the years that I've been eating at Bluestone Lane I noticed it becoming very overpriced. I always loved the Avocado Smash. I agree with most reviewers that service is subpar. I'm not sure why this happens but I am going to give them another try when the weather warms up. I always like to spend the day hanging around Chelsea Piers. Bluestone Lane is a dining option mostly when I'm with friends or relatives.

I came in today and it looks like things are running a bit smoother - although because of Easter and Passover weekend it was emptier than normally. So it may be hard to tell till another busy weekend comes along. Also update on the barista I called Lucy who was Carol. In my mind she was always a Lucy. But alas you now all know who the infamous Lucy is... Carol! I was so happy to see her there. She puts a smile on customer's faces and you know your order will be handled efficiently.

Ok so this rating is solely based on the taste of the iced chai latte I had. Usually any chai latte I get across different establishments are pretty much the same with respect to taste but the chai latte here!!! I don't know what it is that gives it a fresh taste but woah! The moment I took my first sip I was hooked. The place itself is very neat, staff are kind and the location is perfect for the sunny days. I will definitely be coming back for more of their chai latte.

The young man who served was unkind because he wanted to leave, I only bought a donut, because I didn't want make him work. The worst part though, the donut was stale.

What a lovely spot for lunch when you're out walking by the water! Came here with some out-of-town relatives and we had an excellent time. It was quiet when we arrived but soon filled up. Our server was excellent and offered helpful recommendations. I went with a basic burger and was very pleased. The portion is not overwhelming, but all the food is extremely fresh. The space is light and airy, with a lovely view of the area. Would definitely come back.

Nice place to get a tasty iced coffee after a long hot run along the Hudson. Clean and modern decor inside with cold air conditioned which felt great today. Patio seating with umbrella tables outside by the water. Great for people watching.

Quickly stepping out of pier 62 we decided to try the hot chocolate and hibiscus iced tea from here. After ordering the tall blonde who charged us left the register to prepare the hibiscus tea. We heard and saw as she coughed so hard without covering her mouth, but she was just too busy coughing and didn't remake the drink. Instead, she looked over at the person with me. It's truly nasty behavior to prepare food/drinks and not be cautious of your own hygiene or practices. After she left the register to go somewhere else we asked to have our drink remade by the other person who prepared our other drink. This was absolutely gross! I do not recommend this place after this experience. Prices are what they are in the area, it's small and has seating inside and outside when the weather permits.

Nice place. Lots of room and nice view. Low stress. Good pastries. Sometimes friendly service but not enough staff to keep up. Mediocre communication. You can gluten free by accident or smaller drink size. Call it a 4-

Hore was an excellent waiter. Inviting, helpful, attentive. The food was great. Wonderful atmosphere. Clean and upscale. Food was fairly priced.

I want to keep this as my new little secret, but it would be unfair to Greg, the friendly manager that was super accommodating from my first day here. I noticed they have a 3.5 rating right now on Yelp, which I don't think is accurate. I've had only their espresso, and this dish the Green Baked Eggs. It is flawless. Not too much of any ingredient, it's a perfect mesh between sheep's milk cheese, the pesto, the tomato and mushroom. And as a glutard (it's my affliction, it's my word) I am SO grateful for the 10/10 GF bread they have to substitute. Most of the dishes actually seem like they can be prepared GF. The espresso is great. I see a low rating for bad coffee... as an embarrassingly snobby espresso drinker, I disagree. It's fantastic. Wouldn't change a thing. My spot is at the end of one of the tables on the top floor. If this review makes you visit here, my only ask is that you leave this 1 spot for me.

It was absolutely the best coffee we had in Manhattan. The place is very nice and big, and it's located in the Hudson River Park, a great park that's worth seeing. It's important to say that they don't take cash, so if you come, remember to bring a credit card.

Yummmm! Omg! My fam and I happened upon this lovely cafe as we strolled through Hudson River Park. It's a lovely, sunny, and clean cafe that also feels cozy and welcoming. Upon entering we were greeted by the manager who explained how we could order and pay online, (Love this feature). Our sever brought water right away and was efficient and friendly. The hubs and I had the breakfast bowl, and my son had the lemon ricotta pancakes. All of our meals were delish!! The chai latte and iced mocha latte were quite tasty as well. We will def return! Please support this establishment, you'll be glad you did.

Nice place to have some breakfast, the food is good and healthy, wouldn't recommend the lemon ricotta pancakes which took a while longer then all the other food to come out , the staff did offer to remake them but i say no, she also did offer me a free pastry which i also say no to, breakfast bowl was delish and the breakfast burrito was also good. I had a meeting in the area and was starving. I decided to pop my head in and grab something before I entered my meeting. I quickly scanned the extensive/unique menu and was going to grab an iced latte to be on the safe side since this was my first time here, but I noticed that they had a childhood favorite on the menu, in which I was surprised to find. I decided to order the ICED Milo with oat milk to fulfill this sudden burst of childhood nostalgia. I noticed in the preparation (which is visible for you to see), that they added a scoop of ice cream in it followed by the Milo and oat milk. This was pleasantly unexpected. I took it outside and proceeded to sip it on this warm day while I awaited the start of my meeting. It was cool, flavorful and refreshing. The restaurant was clean and the ambiance seemed quiet, yet inviting. Definitely will find my way over there in the future.

This place opened 3 weeks ago, and I am so excited that I have the pleasure to write the first review! I went on a run with a friend and they recommended that we stop for a bite somewhere. We ended up here at Bluestone Lane, when you first walk in it immediately feels open and airy, great view of the water and nearby parks. I really enjoyed the beachy vibes that this place offered, I wish I would have taken a photo of the interior as it was adorable! Food was amazing, one of the best breakfast burritos I've ever had! The coffee was just their regular drip coffee and it came it these very cute little milk bottles (so much coffee for only $4!). I will definitely be back for some coffee and snacks on their patio once it gets a bit warmer out! I recommend this place!

Normally this place is great, but they charge a $1 for a splash of oat milk in a cup of coffee which is the same price as regular milk. It's not even a latte it's a splash...

Been here several times, the banana bread is to die for. Their bacon is super crispy and their smoothies are really good too. Whenever my parents are in town we stop by here

Excellent service the food was amazing and Craig the manager gave an outstanding customer care. We are an multicultural family and the staff service was over welcoming and I am truly amazed with the service and food. My wife and kids enjoyed.

Me and my mother's first time at Bluestone lane, wanted to get a good breakfast, stumbled in and had an amazing meal, everyone was nice and gave us such a warm welcoming experience and had great recommendations from the menu, I decided on the lemon ricotta pancakes, and my mother had the rainbow bowl ! The pancakes was so so good ! Andre was an amazing host, made our experience feel like home, he was well informed about the location and menu, made our visit really pleasant, the location is so pretty! and this will be a frequent space I'll be returning to. Thank u !!

I stopped by this location after kayaking on the Hudson River. Ordered the rainbow bowl. OMG!!! That was hands down the best salad/bowl I've eaten in years. It's healthy and super filling too! Order it - you won't be disappointed! You're welcome! Staff is super friendly and accommodating too! Highly recommend if you're in the area!

It's such a lovely spot right on there peer. And the restaurant is blue, open, and inviting. It's all thematic and a pretty decent cup of coffee awaits.

This cafe has been in business for enough time to figure it out by now. You walk up and you have no idea whether to order with a human, order with a wall-mounted computer, or order on your phone. You also don't know where the food or coffee will be delivered once you are able to make said order. A few of the employees are really quite accommodating and friendly but as a well-known establishment, Bluestone Lane really needs to guide this particular location on how to in fact create orders and distribute said orders to every day clients. I went to put in a mobile coffee order an hour and a half before this location opened (not knowingly) when I shouldn't have been able to place the order in the first place. I paid for that coffee and was never able to retrieve it because of my work schedule. Inviting yet confusing environment all around.

Cheers to this gem! The first time I came, I was a bit unsure of how to order, but one of the managers on-duty greeted me and asked whether I wanted to dine in or take out. He then directed me to a touchscreen kiosk to place my take out order. Every employee that passed me or that I made eye contact with welcomed me in. The customer service is stellar at this place. I even inquired about whether there was a Yelp page, which there wasn't at the time, but one of the managers advised me to download the Bluestone Lane app, best decision today. I scored a free iced mocha (much better) and the GLUTEN FREE, VEGAN, CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIE! I never knew I needed that cookie in my life, but I'm glad we've found each other. I had the hot mocha and chocolate croissant last time, and though I wasn't a fan of the mocha, the croissant was delicious. Since I was in the area again, I figured I'd stop by, and the mobile pick up made things super smooth. Definitely worth a try if you're in the area.

I would like to say that this place is amazing, I ordered salmon (not knowing it was raw) and the manager fixed my order, I'm very pleased with there customer service, and the young lady that helped me was very friendly, I would definitely recommend this place... I'm visiting from Los Angeles and when coming back I will stop here and eat again

Got the eggs Benedict and BLATE. The bacon was unfortunately burnt to a crisp. Otherwise food was good. Decor is nice -'right next to Chelsea piers and the Hudson River. Service was great- waiters were nice and attentive. Overall a nice place for lunch/brunch

Okay look I wasn't in the mood to pay up for breakfast cause I'm a bit of a cheapo but I thought what the heck let's just set up camp here for a bit while I work remotely and then see what happens. And for the first time maybe ever I had very unboring avocado toast (like the avocado has flavor and it's not just green mush that you pretend to like to be cool) and a parfait with this custard type stuff that I'd buy by the gallon if I had more room in my fridge and wallet. Also I got the roasted carrots and DANG they must have them soaked in syrup or something cause I was eating this vegetable on purpose and I didn't regret paying for it. Flavor galore, beautiful interior, and fast service -- if someone took me here for a first date they'd get a second one.

One might think at a chain eatery in a busy area that you might have an impersonal, superficial experience....that couldn't be further from the truth. The staff manages to make you feel welcome and wanted. After several visits, I asked the manager, Craig if he was some kind of wizard. Who can create this elusive je ne sais pas in fast casual during this post-pandemic-full-employment moment? Oh and the food is excellent with many healthy options. Well done, Bluestone.

Just bad service here. No organization whatsoever. Who's ordering? What did you order? Who is your server? No one seems to be truly organized here. There needs to be a better system going at this location.

They are so friendly here, I love it! I'm a fan of Bluestone Lane in general but this location is in a great spot - easy to grab a drink on your way to or from a stroll on the Westside Highway. Tons of seating space as well! I am so happy to have this lovely spot in my neighborhood.

Craig was absolutely wonderful! He takes such incredible care of the whole restaurant all at once! I was blown away at how caring and hospital he was. Our food was delicious! We felt so welcomed! Thank you for the wonderful experience!

Chilly rainy day at Chelsea Piers. I stop in for burrito and hot wedge fries. I also ordered a sparkling water which was brought to my table immediately. The food on the other hand was not. I waited over 30 minutes for the food and then asked the waitress to cancel my order. Instead, she brought my fries and burrito in a to go container. Apparently it was sitting in the to go pile of orders. Clearly scanning the qr code at the table doesn't matter because my food was not delivered to my table as I waited patiently. Needless to say, I won't be back.

After visiting Little Island, we were looking for a place for lunch and came upon this Cafe. We were not disappointed. We were shown how to access the menu before we sat down at a table outside. It was very easy to read the menu, order and pay. I had the avocado mash and my friend had the green eggs. The order came quickly and we were very pleased with the food and the service. We look forward to coming again.
