So nice! Friends and I decided to dine outside, and the atmosphere was wonderful, with someone playing blues-y guitar down the street. The food was so good - I got the athlete's burrito, and my friends got the chicken & bacon club sandwich and the Bondi smoothie. All the food was so good, but definitely get napkins - it can get messy quickly with the hand held food. The people were so nice. Would definitely come back here again.

Really enjoyed my food and the whole vibe of the place. It is pricy, so I wouldn’t come often, but you can try teas and foods you don’t get elsewhere! I did have an issue with my burger coming to me bloody (I don’t like that). I took two awful bites before figuring out why the burger was so awful, and telling the waitress I wanted one medium-well. She took the food back, then a few min later returned with it and someone I can only assume was a manager, who said they couldn’t take it back (having managed my own cafe, I know that what they couldn’t do is take my food back and then bring it back to my table, which is what they did. What they CAN do is throw it out and remake it, which is, I hope, what happened today). When the manager brought the burger back, she said they couldn’t take it back due to health codes, “so, I mean, is it okay?” I said it was not okay. I don’t eat bloody burgers. She said “well if you don’t specify it comes medium.” I said “well the waitress didn’t ask how I wanted it and I was distracted and didn’t think to mention.” She said “well, next time, remember to mention.” And took it away. Really awful customer service. I was shocked, but it seemed like she might be new or something, so I don’t think this is the norm. When the burger was finally done medium- well, I enjoyed it and left. Maybe this person was new? Maybe they were inexperienced? Cooking a burger wrong and remaking it isn’t a big deal so I wasn’t sure why it was being made into one. I ordered several dishes, so it wasn’t like I was sending everything back, but to send a bloody burger back is pretty reasonable. Other than that incident, everything went well. I’ve been here before and didn’t have an experience like that so I don’t think it’s the norm.

Solid coffee and delicious potatoes wedges with sweet chilli sauce. I typically get a cappuccino or latte, but yesterday I ordered a mocha which was so nice! I love coming here to treat myself, the service is fast and staff is friendly. I also love the bright and inviting atmosphere. There was one time I picked up 2 coffees to-go and the taste of one was sour, but that might have been an off day. Overall, a lovely cafe I will certainly come back to!

Google
Very pleasant experience here at Bluestone Lane! The food was delicious—beautiful presented, cooked well, and great amount of flavour. As a lover of scrambled eggs, I got the chilli scrambled eggs on toast. The chilli sauce on the side really elevated the dish. Loved the sprinkle of cheese too, it helped a lot. The egg itself was really good, just not as seasoned. But a dip in the chilli made it a lot better. The burgers were really nicely made, pretty thick! Potato wedges cooked very nicely; not too soft, but still crispy and seasoned. Server was great, no complaints. We ordered on our phones and paid directly on the website once we placed our order. Overall, very good experience here! A bit on the pricier side for brunch but still overall great

Google
Stopped in for a quick coffee and very standard coffee shop! Super cute inside, but probably one of the busier spots with tourists and students both. If you’re willing to wait and sit down for a while without rushing, I would recommend highly!

Google
First time I went the food was good. Second I came here got the overcook egg to burn and also another dish was over cooked scrambled egg to really dry. It seems like inconsistent cook.

Google
Always have a great experience here. They have an array of coffee and drinks to choose from. The food has always been above average. Love their cold brew. Mostly order from the breakfast menu, but just had their chicken sandwich for lunch and it was fantastic. Best brunch around to my knowledge.

Google
Loved this place! It had a bunch of menu options I've never seen so I'll definitely be returning to try them. Super friendly staff and delicious food/coffee.

Chris M.

Yelp
The menu features breakfast fare; eggs, pancakes, banana bread. Be warned. This place is pricey. 5.00 for an ice coffee which would be a medium anyplace else. This place has high ceilings with a loft where we could have sat. There is seating in front right on Harvard Square. The front doors open so the front can be open on a nice day. The service was excellent with the waitress keeping an eye on us. I had the breakfast bowl that had a poached egg, cherry tomato, kale and avocado. The food was delicious but pricey. It is definitely a gourmet kitchen. I knocked it down one star because of the prices. If I were in the neighborhood, I would return with my credit card.

Yelp
I'm not one to go out for breakfast/brunch unless it's for 1) a special occasion ie. someone is visiting or 2) I don't make it at home or 3) dimsum. That being said... this occasion fell under category 1 which was to see my cousin who was visiting and she suggested it since she knows of the ones in NY when she lived there some years ago. I came here last Sunday. Upon entering the cafe there was a fowl smell like a soiled diaper, it didn't last but the scent resurfaced right as we got our meals. I don't know if there's a bathroom in the establishment but if there is i'm guessing it must have been an issue with the plumbing and the bathroom door being left open... I'm not sure. Otherwise it is a charming and quaint cafe nestled in Harvard Square. We sat upstairs and one of the things I noticed instantly was the natural lighting from the sun roof windows. There aren't many places in boston with this feature. I didn't have any personally since I was having coffee but I love that they have immunity boosting lattes on their menu like turmeric, beet, matcha etc. I'm not sure what breakfast prices are like since I rarely experience it but my opinion it was pricey. I ordered the cheapest sandwich which was the Bacon, Egg & Cheese croissant which was about $11 - it was okay. The egg was too wet and the sandwich was messy to hold as I ate. One of the first of many pieces of egg that fell out, fell onto the table then sliding off onto my husband's pant leg. I also ordered a small latter which was nice but a cup with a handle for a hot drink would have been better than a handless cup. My husband ordered the BLATE and requested micro greens to be added. His sandwich looked good. I should order that next time to try instead. I sampled one of his wedges which were really nice - semi-thin and crispy. And my cousin got the ricotta pancakes. Food 2/5 Latte (coffee) 4/5 Ambience 2.5/5... the smell really brought this down Service -3/5 - nothing bad but nothing special Overall an okay place

Yelp
Came in with my friend, felt kind of rushed by the barista. We were indecisive on whether we wanted to sit down or take it to go and she kept on asking us repeatedly if we wanted to sit down inside or outside and wouldn't give us time to decide for ourselves like girl chill. After all that, we ultimately decided to take drinks to go. Other than that, I ordered the matcha chai and my friend ordered the pumpkin cold brew. Both were wayyyy too expensive for the quality, especially the pumpkin cold brew. Overall, I would say the ambience is pretty nice but it doesn't make up for the overpriced drinks. Don't think I'll come here again but the concepts of the drinks definitely have potential!

Sophie T.

Yelp
I came here to WFH with a friend and it's so bright and cozy inside. We went in the upstairs section which definitely is a little more private and quiet than sitting downstairs. No matter which floor you're on, you can enjoy the ambiance and vibes of it all. This is a pretty spacious spot in Harvard Square - and great to grab a bite as you WFH (which is exactly what we did). We ordered lunch and it was yummy! The menu is a a bit of an inquired taste but it's got plenty of healthy options. I'll have to try a smoothie next time!

Adelie S.

Yelp
Really pricey with just average coffee (I did like the matcha strawberry cloud drink though), but I was disappointed to see flies in the pastry display case so that was unappetizing. Service was also very slow and the server took a long time to get my warmed pastry even though I could see it was ready and had just been sitting in the microwave for a while as she chatted with her friend. Interior ambience was cute with lots of plants. Personally I'd recommend going to Flour Bakery down the block instead!

Dominique D.

Yelp
The coffee is ok. I stop by whenever I need a quick pick me up. I've only ordered a double shot of espresso. I find that I never know what I'm going to get sometimes the espresso is great sometimes it's not. The inside is nice and I really like how much light comes in during the day. The service is great and the staff is friendly. I'll try something different the next time I go.

Yelp
I was looking for a coffee shop to study in Harvard square, and this comes up as recommendation. They have two floors, and the upstairs is not too crowded, you can definitely focusing on your work when you dine upstairs. I ordered a capuchino and b.l.t and a smoothie. The smoothie was $11, hm not worth it My conclusion is this cafe shop is too expensive for coffee studying spot, and not cute enough for brunch spot( too tight of a space)

Hannah C.

Yelp
A great spot for brunch!! Highly recommend getting a reservation as the space is cozy and fills up quickly especially on the weekends. The servers are all very attentive and check up on you often. The pancakes were super fluffy and the breakfast sandwich was so good! Loved the garlic aioli especially. Will definitely come again

Yelp
Really a 3.5. This place has promise! But it's basically an unwelcoming Tatte, which is a much better option in this area. Food was fine, slightly pricy but good flavors. Really I just don't love the idea that it looks like a coffee shop but treats you like a restaurant. Lots of people standing around waiting for their food to go in a cold doorway while there are empty tables in sight. I guess it keeps people from hovering with a laptop all day but it's not the most friendly vibe within a 5 min walk of here. Next time I'll just go around the corner to Tatte or Life Alive.

Leyang Z.

Yelp
Had breakfast there with my friend who just arrived at Boston. I only had their drinks before so this was a new experience for me as well. 3.5 stars would be most accurate. I ordered their veg big brekkie and my friend ordered the Lemon Ricotta pancakes. Food was of generous portion sizes and tasted good. My friend enjoyed the fluffy pancakes very much but thought it could be less sweet. For me, I really love their baked halloumi cheese. It had a similar taste to tofu but more firm and creamy. Plus, the toast was topped with a wide variety of veggie and only had less than 500kcal. So it was delicious and healthy. We arrived at the restaurant at about 9am. Service was OK but could be faster. Dining vibe was great--spacious, not many people inside (well, perhaps because it was in summer vacation lol). Would IKE to try the goat cheese eggs and/or shakshuka next time

Yelp
Came here on a Tuesday morning and we were seated immediately. Our server was great, and super friendly! I'm so happy we got seated on the upper level, because it gave us a view of the cute interior! I was super satisfied by the chimichurri folded eggs, and it wasn't greasy at all. My friends also both enjoyed their meals, and this was exactly what we wanted. If you're looking for filling, delicious, classic breakfast foods with a unique twist, definitely check this place out. I will be back for sure!

Merilou B.

Yelp
The place itself is super cute with a top and bottom floor and a lot of plants. Came on a sunday afternoon and the staff seated our party of 2 immediately. The food itself was nothing too crazy, but loved the chili oil and seasoning. If you're a big coffee person, would recommend going somewhere else.

Yelp
My mom is visiting from Mexico and I was wondering where to take her out for brunch. Although I live close to Harvard, I hardly come to the square. However, when I do, I make it a point to stop by Bluestone Lane. The coffee is powerful and tasty. All day brekkie is a treat. I had the BL Big Brekkie and my mom had the BL Folded Chimichurri Eggs & Bacon Toast. My dish was exactly what I hoped it would be. It featured a lot of my favorite ingredients including a multigrain toast with egg, bacon, avocado, and mushrooms (the stars of the dish), and I must say, it was a brunch masterpiece that left me wanting to come back. The first thing that struck me was the presentation. The perfectly toasted bread served as a sturdy base for the medley of ingredients that followed. Moving on to the taste. Each ingredient played its part brilliantly. The creamy avocado added a luxurious texture, while the mushrooms delivered an earthy depth of flavor that paired beautifully with the savory bacon. The eggs were perfectly cooked, with its runny yolk oozing over the ensemble, that stole the show. The combination of flavors and textures was nothing short of a harmonious blend of richness, saltiness, and freshness. The cappuccino was a velvety symphony of espresso and frothy milk, delivering a perfect balance of rich, bold flavors and creamy indulgence in every sip. The waiting staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. At any given point, different people checked in on us to make sure we were doing fine. A very nice person from Ecuador noticed we were speaking Spanish and greeted my mom in Spanish, which made her feel extra welcome. The combination of great coffee, good brunch, and amazing service make me rate this place highly. It's one of my favorite spots for brunch.

Yelp
I have ordered the vegemite toast from Bluestone before and liked it. So today i again ordered the toast w/ vegemite for takeout. I had to wait a while, and then after I left and opened the bag i noticed that they gave me jam instead of vegemite. These 2 things are not the same. So i went back, and the hostess went back to the kitchen then came back and apologized that they were out of vegemite (this is an Aussie themed restaurant, mind you). Did they think that i would not notice? And i had to request utensils for my toast. Good food but not what i wanted.

Michelle T.

Yelp
Stopped into Bluestone Lane to get a bottle of water and a matcha latte. My matcha latte was just OK - not a lot of matcha flavor. To be honest, I probably should have stuck to the coffee products, because I know those are solid. Staff were nice and friendly.

Samuel F.

Yelp
The one thing that stands out to me about this Harvard cafe (aside from the Australian slant in their selection of espresso drinks) is that the sit-down service is really cute. Not sugary cute, more like "corner of grandma's kitchen" cute. It's cozy. This sometimes works to their advantage, as with those beautiful baked eggs served in a little single-serving cast iron. Sometimes less so, like the milk bottle carafes for the coffee, which came out a little cold. I'd guess with that style of container it's maybe an awkward tradeoff between serving it a bit less hot and having the glass become too hot to comfortably pour. Anyways, it's a fine place to drop in for a coffee, but a better spot when you have a bit of time to sit down and linger.

Ted B.

Yelp
I work next door and get coffee here every morning. The coffee is excellent and the staff is hard-working, friendly, and attentive. The food is a bit pricey but the friends I've made here keep me coming back. Shoutout to Hanna in particular, she is a wonderful barista!

Nana K.

Yelp
No blues, but only sunshine added to my morning after brunch at Bluestone Lane. We got to the restaurant around 11, and there was no problem getting seated. I love that you can order streaming by from the QR code, but our waiter was still very friendly. Their coffee is delicious! I ordered the long black, and my daughter ordered an iced latte. We absolutely loved the flavor of our drinks, although my coffee was not as hot as I prefer. Food was good! I love that my egg dish had the option of egg whites, and that you are also able to customize each dish. Daughter opted to add smoked salmon to her avocado toast, and it was delicious! We all enjoyed both our meals and drinks. Ambiance was also very clean and trendy. Can't wait to go try the chain in Orange County

Yelp
Green white clean interior in Harvard Sq. Overpriced, but perfect for a more casual brunch. They have a cafe/coffee place in the front of the restaurant. BLATE sandwich Rating:7/10 Price: $15.50 Notes: It was great up until my last visit a couple of months ago. It was incredibly busy then, but I have a hard time going back after my bacon burnt to pieces :( The brioche buns were also dried up and the greens in the salad were basically wilted.

Miranda G.

Yelp
This place was recommended to me based on my food preferences, but the service was a huge let down, which is why i'm only giving 2 stars. First, we arrived a little before lunch and were told that the wait for a table was about 25 minutes and we would receive a text. We decided to walk around Harvard while waiting. After a while, we never received a text so we checked back in and the server decided to check for a table only at that point. She directed us to a very small table upstairs that was difficult to get seated at. Next, we were browsing the menu and waited for someone to take our order. After ~30 minutes of no one attending our table, we saw there was a QR code way to order so we decided to do that. After about 30 more minutes, of waiting for the food, we finally asked the server if our order was received and that is when they checked (there wasn't even a point during this hour where they saw that we still had menus and asked to take our order) and began making our food. The food came out quickly. I think it's overpriced based on the lack of service and quality of the food (the avocado smash was quite bland). We asked for extra plates but were quickly forgotten about. We quickly scarfed down our food since we were starving from the long wait and when we were almost done with our food, the waitress apologized and came with our extra plates that we no longer needed. Overall, we arrived around 11:30AM and finished around 3PM. Save yourself the time and just order takeout here.

Ani J.

Yelp
Just came back after having brunch at this restaurant. Overall, loved the place. The service was great. Our server kept coming in to check on us and making sure we were ok. You have to order via the app on your phone, and the food is delivered at the table. I got the following: - Avocado Smash: I got this without the feta cheese. Loved the flavor and how the toast tasted. - Side Wedges: this was delicious. Ended up ordering two orders of this. Great location. Great service. Great ambience. Great food.

Marong P.

Yelp
I really enjoyed this cute cafe! It's cozy busy vibe. You can hear the live band music from outdoors too. You can do take out or dine in for their delicious coffee & pastries. I had lunch there solo and my chicken grain bowl entree was so delicious and fulfilling...the flavor sauce was so yummy!!. special lavender matcha latte was amazingly creamy taste like soft butter! Wish I ordered a large. I would go back!

Salman K.

Yelp
I was in the Harvard Square area and looking for a quick breakfast. I stopped by Bluestone and ordered a smoothie and breakfast burrito. The pros: service was fairly quick (I ordered in the store and waited for it), the ambiance is nice, and the food was surprisingly unique and delicious! The breakfast burrito had pumpkin seeds in it and it tasted great! The cons: it is extremely expensive relative to other local breakfast places. For the burrito and smoothie I payed ~$30. For breakfast that should easily feed two people. Despite the great flavors and overall positive experience, I wouldn't return regularly. This would be a great place to stop by if you need to bring some guests from out of town or for a classier breakfast option.

MJ H.

Yelp
The food here slaps, every single time. Now I know this is a coffee shop, and I don't drink coffee so I can't personally speak to the coffee quality, but I ordered one for my boss when I was getting my lunch here recently and she said it was really good. My wrap was tasty but the star of the show really were the potato wedges, and I normally don't even like potato wedges. They were so fresh and crispy, even after being packed up and carried back to my office. They have some avocado toasts that are so loaded, if I eat it in the morning I'm not hungry once lunchtime rolls around. The prices are a bit high for the food, but so far it's been worth it for me based on the taste and quality.

Jeffrey L.

Yelp
In the land of small businesses, a big franchise like Bluestone is a necessary evil. You go here for the bougie cute ambiance and it lives up to that expectation. Fun change compared to Starbucks, Nero etc.

Ann C.

Yelp
This spot is just OK-- expensive prices for mediocre brunch offerings, but it does at least have good service and a cute ambiance. If you're trying to eat healthy, it's also one of the few spots around Harvard Square that tries to be more health conscious (it lists calorie counts and has lots of dairy-free/GF options). I got the Athlete's Burrito plate which didn't wow me but at least was a healthy, filling meal.

Shemesh Y.

Yelp
Let's put aside the okay fruits side dish (was ok, served in a plastic cup) and okay hot chocolate (ordered wet half &half, received with milk. Overall didn't have much flavor) - They rewrite you to order and pay online AND provide your full name and email. Completely time consuming, annoying, and disregarding any privacy standards. I won't be back.

Mark T.

Yelp
Sometimes chains do things right, and Bluestone Lane is a great example. While the Flat White was forgettable, the B.L.A.T.E was remarkable! It was an excellent, fresh, creamy, heavenly, elevated interpretation of the breakfast sandwich. The breakdown: The Flat White: I feel that it could have been stronger. I expected it to be a little more concentrated regarding the espresso flavor. This one reminded me more of a latte. While I fully admit it may have to do with the coffee they are using, I still long for the intensity of espresso to be more present. The BLATE: This sandwich was all-around delicious! The bread was incredibly fresh and tasty and did not fall apart under use. The garlic aioli had an oomph enough to make this Slav happy (without overwhelming any other component). The bacon and the egg were of high quality, and the arugula added a pleasant and mild bite. Then, coming out of left-field, the avocado stole the show. It was perfectly ripe and added a delectable creaminess to the dish. Even as someone who never takes a breakfast sandwich without cheese, I must admit the avocado might have beat out cheese. Cheese! Something I probably spend 20% of my grocery budget on! As for the little side salad, it too was fresh, colorful, and perfectly dressed! I liked the combination of ingredients and that they didn't need additional cutting and slicing (I like my salads in restaurants ready to eat, bite me!) While the BLATE should have been served with potato wedges, I was served it with the little side salad instead. I didn't request the substitution, and when the plate arrived, I had forgotten what the side was supposed to be. It ended up being for the better. The salad added a freshness to the overall dish that dense and starchy potato wedges could never convey. Especially contrasted with the overflowing savoriness of the sandwich, I might go as far as suggesting they at least clearly offer the substitution on the menu. Only one question remains: can someone please tell me what the "L" is B.L.A.T.E. stands for?

Neha D.

Yelp
Can get takeout or they have seating on two floors. Got an iced mocha which was pretty bitter and a breakfast burrito which was decent but not the greatest I've had in Boston. I like the variety of coffees and smoothies available

Ly M.

Yelp
After Bluestone put Crema (one of the best cafes ever) out of business, I boycotted the place for 5 years before eventually sucking it up and giving it a chance. I went in with an open mind! I had decided it was time to move on! What a mistake. The food was seriously overpriced and utterly mediocre. The Warm Chicken and Ancient Grains Bowl was bland and somehow watery. The BLATE tasted just like something I could order prepackaged at Starbucks for less than half the price. There was something off and bitter in the lemon ricotta pancakes, and there was nothing fluffy about them - they were thick, heavy dough balls. Nothing was so shocking, though, as their "maple syrup" having nothing to do with anything maple. This seems as if it should be a criminal offense here in New England! Nearly everyone I saw in the cafe seemed to be taking ample photos of their food. Bluestone's presentation is excellent, and their menu seems uniquely catered to people who'd like to post an Instagram story. Perhaps they should consider focusing a little more on flavor.

Anna M.

Yelp
Bluestone Lane in Harvard Square is super cute! It's got a great lil brunchy vibe and it's definitely a convenient place to grab a meal with friends when you want to treat yourself to something a little nicer than a HUDS weekend brunch. I thought that the food is pretty solid. Something I have to commend Bluestone lane for is their "Brekkie Board". I am someone who, when I go out for brunch, eternally struggles with deciding whether or not go sweet or savory. It's probably the number one worst thing about brunch for me, in any context. So, with that in mind, the Brekkie Board is quite literally the only brunch menu item I've ever encountered that solves this problem: it's one menu item that comes with a small yogurt parfait and a small avocado toast. Perfect for someone like me who wants a little bit of savory and a little bit of sweet, but doesn't want to order two menu items! So, I will commend Bluestone Lane on that front. However, I don't really think the food is anything crazy to write home about. It is solid brunch food for sure, but the flavors could be more creative and the menu more varied for the price you are paying. It is kind of just a solid, run of the mill brunch restaurant with all the classics, but nothing really stands out flavor wise. In addition, it is usually pretty crowded and so the service is not the fastest. But, the waiters and waitresses are friendly and helpful. Overall, Bluestone is pretty solid but if you want to impress someone with a creative brunch I wouldn't take them here.

Della S.

Yelp
This place is really cute! The food was just alright though. I also did not notice many outlets so it is a little difficult to get work done here if you plan to stay for a long time. I ordered the green baked eggs ($14.50) which came with chimichurri, feta, mushrooms, tomatoes, spinach, herbs, and some toast. I didn't get the option to choose the doneness of the eggs and was disappointed to find that the yolks were hard! The dish itself was pretty refreshing but the pan was superrrrrr watery (probably from the mushrooms and spinach leaking moisture). The chimichurri had a nice punch of garlicky flavor but otherwise the dish was overall a little underseasoned. The piece of toast was very crunchy. I also tried their iced magic ($4.25) with oatmilk ($0.85). It was quite pricey but very delicious! The oatmilk was creamy and the espresso flavor was strong. I'd consider coming back for their coffee. The green baked eggs didn't give a great first impression.

Yelp
Came by for brunch on a weekend at around 10am - they were pretty busy at the time so I would recommend making a reservation; but fortunately it was just a few minutes until we got seated. The ordering system is now totally online via QR code, and ironically this made our experience a bit worse since our servers were a bit inattentive and rarely came by our table. Also, our food took quite a while to come - we waited nearly 30 minutes - which, as my friends told me, is not uncommon during peak hours. Food was ok in general. I had the lemon ricotta pancakes, which had a nice, lightly sweet and tangy flavour from the lemon and syrup - and ricotta added a nice dimension as well - but the pancakes themselves were not very good. The texture in particular was quite inconsistent, and especially towards the inside of the stack the pancakes were just dry and flavourless. I also ordered a matcha latte, which was mediocre - bland vis-à-vis the matcha flavour and just very, very sweet. Overall, definitely a bit overrated - food is not bad but service quite slow and prices undeservedly high. I think it may be a while before I come back next time.

Artur G.

Yelp
Food was ok service really terrible. While seated it took about 10 mins for someone to come and bring the menu such that my son asked if we are invisible and they don't see us. Then they brought wrong food after quite long wait. Then another 20 mins for right food.

Alexis H.

Yelp
Service: Very poor. The gentleman who was working behind the barista counter was the only nice one. The two girls who were working were not nice. Actually, they didn't even speak to us a word unless we called for their attention, which even then was not the nicest. Food: Amazing! It was so yummy! We ordered two burritos. So much flavor and it's the perfect portion. Prices are a bit steep, but it was worth it. I would eat here again despite the lack of customer service. We also didn't get our coffees until 75% of our dish was eaten.

Yelp
When I was researching the internet for the best brunch in Cambridge or Somerville, Bluestone Lane didn't appear. Walking past it often between school and home, I never really took notice. But, four of us gave it a try today for Sunday Brunch. Bluestone Lane met all the criteria for the perfect brunch: great ambience, great service, mimosas and beer and, most importantly, creative and delicious dishes - for breakfast, brunch and lunch. I shall return.

Yelp
Cute cafe. I really liked the indoor decor. I had the iced breakfast Melbourne tea and it was interested. It was unique and refreshing. I would have preferred a little bit of sweeting but it was still nice after walking around the whole day. The food looked nice too!

Yelp
I had the breakfast bowl plus spicy grilled chicken, it's fulfilling. The lemon ricotta pancake was an okay, it's quite firm and not fluffy. The burrito was pretty good, my friend recommended. Overall a cute place to visit for brunch!

Yelp
Bluestone Lane is the cutest cafe located in the heart of Harvard Square! It is easily accessible by the red line, but parking may be quite difficult. My friends and I ordered the B.L.A.T.E., the breakfast bowl, and the folded chimichurri eggs and bacon toast. The BLATE comes with potato wedges and the burger itself tasted AMAZING. We also ordered an iced latte and an Aussie iced vanilla float. I've never had a coffee taste this good - it had to be the combination of ice cream and coffee. It was incredibly sweet though, but I like my coffee on the sweeter side. Portion sizes were very appropriate. Some items can get a bit pricey, but it's worth the experience and vibes. Customer service is excellent! All orders are placed on your phone, including the tip and payment. Bluestone Lane is a great place for a brunch date or a get-together with friends! I'll definitely be back!

Yelp
Quick | Australian | potato wedges Quick - the place is pretty quick whether you are doing a to go order, take out, or sit down. Their service is pretty quick. You can sit down and order from an online menu which is a bit unique. You do everything on your phone when you sit down and they bring it to you. If you are doing a to go order you come in and order from the front. Australian - the owners are Australian and they have an interesting menu. They have coffee shot drinks like a piccolo which are unique/popular in Australia. Also some of their meals are akin to the Australian - New Zealand region. Potato wedges - I had a cappuccino as potato wedges for a light breakfast. The cappuccino was solid, nothing special. But an appropriate level of drink for the price point. The potato wedges were pretty good and filling. They were cooked differently than traditional potato wedges you would get during a dinner. They had a crispy exterior and had the proper amount of salt. I highly recommend the potato wedges. Pro tip - there isn't a lot of parking so expect to go to a public lot and walk over. Pro tip - when you come in, If you plan on eating in go straight to a table. If you order at the kiosk they will assume you are doing a "to-go"'ordered.

Yelp
I ordered two affogatos and they were so insanley bad it was insane. I kindly asked the staff if they could add more ice cream as it tasted like a cup of black coffee and nothing like what an affogato should taste like. They refused to add more ice cream and would only do so if they charged me again. Considering it was $5, you would except a half decent drink. To top it off, the affogato was so small it didn't even fill half the cup. Terrible service and terrible drinks. Would not recommend.

Yelp
Delicious food and drink, however I don't think I can justify coming back here that often with my student budget! If your down to drop $17 on a salad, I highly recommend the rainbow salad. Servers were kind and courteous. A great setting for a study session!

Yelp
Filling and hearty brunch with a variety of options near Harvard! We came here on a Friday late morning for brunch and had made a reservation online, although it wasn't super crowded and would have been fine without the reservation as well. We shared the breakfast burrito with a side of home fries and the lemon ricotta pancakes. The burrito was decent, pretty standard with your typical fillings - egg, potato, feta cheese, etc. The pancakes were fantastic and so beautiful - covered in a whipped ricotta cream, fruit, and edible flowers, and hitting the right balance between too sweet and not sweet enough, they definitely stole the show. The coffee was decent as well. This seems to be a popular spot for students to come in and study or work with a cup of coffee - worth a visit for breakfast/brunch if you happen to be in the Harvard area, although it is a bit pricey for the portions/quality.

Yelp
DELICIOUS! The soft chilli scramble with avo was amazing, would give a 11/10 and get it again bc it was so good. Iced mocha was a bit off today, I felt like it could've been stronger (I feel like in the past it was stronger than it is now). I asked for less ice but there was still a bit of ice. Strongly suggest ordering ahead via Bluestone app, Harvard Square has lots of cute places to sit - I sat outside and enjoyed this delicious meal!

Yelp
Cute spot to right in Harvard Square. It gets really busy so I suggest you either come early or have a reservation. The food portions are larger so I suggest sharing with another person. It's also a great spot for drinks and outdoor seating.

Yelp
Nice ambience but poor execution. I stopped by here hoping to get an afternoon snack to-go, but was disappointed that their pastries had already run out for the day. I decided to try their matcha latte, and waited a long time (10+ mins) for it to come out. I'm a huge fan of matcha but the drink didn't have much matcha flavor to it, and was pretty small for the $6 I paid for it. Would rather just go to Starbucks next time instead.

Yelp
After working up an appetite walking around Cambridge, we ended up having lunch at Bluestone Lane, mostly drawn by the strong air conditioning. I ordered the warm chicken and ancient grains bowl which was delicious. Though the chicken was a little dry and the dressing was a little spicy, I enjoyed the salad tremendously. The bowl had farro, lentils, roasted baby carrots, brussel sprouts and cauliflower along with a creamy tahini dressing; I loved the mix of textures and flavors in the bowl/salad. The portion was huge and made for a great snack the next day. There was tons of seating inside which I imagine gets crowded when school is in session. All of the ordering is done online through the QR code on the table.

Yelp
Best mate bowl was delicious! Service can be a little slow during meal times, but the staff is quite friendly. Great decor and seating area, would recommend their grain bowls!
