A cute place to come and sit to either study or work with open space and decent decorations. They have inside and outside seating areas. There is parking such as meters, streets, and parking slots close by. However, the coffee and the foods are below the average with the prices that don't match. Customer service is careless and not welcoming. Not return.

Breakfast was great. The staff was fantastic, it was a relief to hear all the laughter from the team working. The atmosphere represented how much fun the employees were having. Enjoyed the coffee and the hibiscus tea. Great place to enjoy a great morning.

Picked up the avocado toast and guess what? It wasn't toasted at all, super salty,soggy and distasteful. The lady in the blue/green hair that works there is rude. A total waste of money. I had to throw away my food because it tasted so bad

Places like these are the reason I am that 1 person out of 500 at my job sitting in the lunch room eating my home cooked meal while everyone else has walked outside to get lunch. It is unfortunate that I have always wanted to check this place out but never stopped by because I wasn’t sure about the parking. It could have been a nice little neighborhood spot but the unfriendliness of the service is at large.

I waited 15 minutes for my drink before asking about it. They forgot so she gave me a pastry which was nice but the smoothie wasn’t good. The plants are dying outside and you can tell this place isn’t being taken care of…

Absolutely love this coffee shop!! The coffee is to die for and the baristas are so friendly and accommodating. I always stop by this place when I’m in the neighbourhood. Also a lot of cute shops and restaurants around so I like how centrally it’s located.

Ok, so I have to say this… I’ve been a longtime customer of BSL and overall, my experience has been great! However - the South La Brea location has really started to drop the ball of late. The past 3 orders that I’ve placed have been disappointing to say the least. Perhaps new management? If so, they’re gonna start losing customers if they don’t step up. Today I ordered a protein bowl which usually has a fairly generous helping of salmon and a soft poached egg. Well I got what seems to be less than a quarter of a piece of smoked salmon (less than I’d feed to a baby) and a hard poached egg. Please rectify!!

Ordered the Breakfast Bowl, avocado toast, and latte. They were all good. I was definitely excited on the latte as I really enjoyed Australian coffee. I could say it is pretty close to what I had in Melbourne. Store is taking COVID-19 precautions seriously. You can order ahead for pick-up or dine outside. Will surely go back and try other food.

Always enjoying returning and trying anything new on the menu! The staff are great, friendly and always willing to customize to customers liking. Great place for a quick grab and go or work day!

This is the second day in a row I've tried to order the egg and cheese croissant and the second day in a row they said the item is out of stock on Uber Eats. So let me get this straight- you're a breakfast place with a fairly small menu and you don't have this item two days in a row? That makes no sense. They also don't have a phone number to call in which you can speak to anyone. Would not recommend.

Was in the area and checked them out. The decor is so pretty as the colors are baby blue/teal and going for a very nautical theme. I ordered the Aussie iced latte which is two shots of espresso and ice cream! It's as delicious as it sounds. Will definitely be coming back. Luckily they have various locations. There's also plenty of seating inside, outlets and a bathroom as well. They have meter parking right out front as well. They had one worker when I stopped by and she was super friendly.

Only rating their Iced Matcha Latte.... A bit disappointed because there were chunks of matcha powder, when it should be properly whisked to help dilute the powder. Also, i think you have to ask for a splash of sweetener.

I recently visited Bluestone Lane and ordered their iced mocha latte along with the Clean and Lean Protein Bowl. The latte was a perfect balance of rich chocolate and smooth coffee, served cold and refreshing. The Clean and Lean Protein Bowl was a standout smoked salmon, spinach, arugula, feta, cherry tomatoes, avocado, and a poached egg were all beautifully combined with a zesty lemon vinaigrette. The bowl was not only flavorful but also packed with fresh, high quality ingredients. Great service. Overall, a delightful experience with great food and drinks.

General manager and workers are all so sweet! Food is delicious and coffee is always fresh and tasty. Totally recommend if you want an esthetic environment with great people around you.

Staff needs a serious attitude adjustment. Plenty of other places near by where I can get the same thing with a smile

I waited literally 35 min for my burrito (I checked the time on Apple Pay) the place was very slow. The lady working at the counter told me that the machine didn't print the chit and that was the reason why they forgot to make it. I waited another 10 min and went up to the counter to say that I wanted a refund because I had to go back to work and didn't have the time to eat. The lady was clearly annoyed and responded that she made it already and that I should just take it. I didn't get any refund and left The attitude of the 2 people working there was absolutely negative. They were annoyed and didn't apologize at all

I really love this place drink and foods taste. But sometimes happened one of worker is too nice and very slow or another younger female is very attitude and making drink with huge noise and show anger. So sad this place like this.

It is cute and comfy in here. Cute space to have meetings or meetups. I had a simple oat milk mocha and it was good. There wasn't a wait either.

I walked in just now and I have yet to look at the menu and the lady (very small with a hat) tells me in a very rude tone "Are you not ready to order?" I had to leave because no I was not ready to order. Maybe I am sensitive but when I am spending money at an establishment I would rather hear "Hi welcome to Bluestone lane! What can I get for you?" Instead I get "Are you not ready????". I am a customer not your enemy. Neighborhood coffee is 2 min walking distance! So much better.

Not a place to come for food. My avocado toast came in a to go box with plastic silverware. I had to ask for a plate and silverware. Their response was they don't serve on plates. Bread seemed store bought, no greens, no tomatoes, no cheese. Just avocado spread, too much lemon. A very sad experience. I had higher expectations. I ordered an egg on the side. They put it on top. No one working in the kitchen on a Friday at 1145 am. The cashier had to make it. Compare the other photos to what i got.

Dee is the best. She genuinely cares for her customers and appreciates small conversation. She's a solid worker. I will be coming back soon.

My go to coffee location! The people working here are always kinda and even make a commitment to remembering your name, very sweet. Love the different flavors they have, especially lavender. Lots of shops to choose from in the area but I keep coming back to this Bluestone Lane, also the blueberry muffin is always incredible! Always clean as well and nice place to work if you have your laptop

My favorite coffee and food hangout by far-- not just because Bluestone itself is so good, but because this particular crew is so smart, quick, warm, and resourceful. Wouldn't go anywhere else. Overnight oats are a favorite.

I do enjoy Australian based or inspired locations but honestly I gave bluestone 2 chances and probably would not do the third time. Don't get me wrong, the drink Beet Latte was good and refreshing and I've only tried a salad and this breakfast peanut butter strawberry toast, but the toast was not tasty and it's hard to get that feeling in a peanut butter toast. It was pricey compare to what you get. The things I love; you can order online in store without waiting for the cashier, that was really cool to avoid long lines. And the packaging the toast comes in was super cool, it is like a box and your toast is inside. I believe the concept is highly creative and most of the money we got charged is for the box, but we need a tasty peanut toast come on.

I appreciate that the drink sizes match the price at least. I finish my matcha from neighborhood in two sips. Here at least, it lasts me a bit. Food is always delish Retiring from being loyal to Starbucks, who is used to VENTI, this place is the closest to that thanks BL

I am obsessed with their Aussie latte! Their coffee is outstanding, and the service is great! Pre-ordering on their app is a breeze for quick pick up. High quality coffee, great flavors, highly recommended!

Staff is very prompt when the busy morning hours are live. I just wish they had more baristas for the morning rush to alleviate some stress for them. Def take advantage and order ahead online! That is the fastest way. This place is cashless so card / Apple Pay only. Matcha and Americano are my go tos for this spot.

Underwhelmed. From out of town and I didn't want to go searching for a Philz or a blue bottle (my usuals at home) so I found this place nearby. The latte with vanilla was way too sweet, I don't know if people actually drink it like that and I dumped out Half the drink and added milk and it was STILL too sweet. For a $7/8 iced coffee I expected much more. Breakfast croissant was ok, a bit too much egg for me.

Quaint little cafe in the Fairfax/Beverly Grove area. I stopped in on Saturday for a coffee and breakfast to-go at their outdoor takeout counter. The building used to be an old flower shop, they paid homage to that by having beautiful flowers painted all around the building along with some fresh flowers for purchase. I ordered their turmeric latte with oat milk and their avocado toast! Everything was great, the turmeric latte was nice and thick with a good kick of spice to it. It was not sweet at all, but that was fine by me to have a more savory drink, something different. Avocado Smash toast was done right with some cherry tomatoes, soft herb, & red pepper flakes on top, the multigrain had a good softness to crunch ratio on some quality bread. Cute spot, check it out.

Ya yeas! Such a comfortable beautiful quaint little spot for Breakfast brunch lunch or anything in between. It does get quite packed on weekends. Came here on a weekday morning and had no crowd when it first opened but it slowly got busier throughout the day. You will order it at the window and pick up at the same place to the right. If you are dining in they will bring the food out to you. Anything that we might have California is pretty much in this little spot where cuteNess and goodness roam under the warm Californian sun. Got the vegan burrito and it was so filling I don't think I ate dinner after breakfast. The Americano it's not on the menu but it's called the Long Shot. It is not as strong as I am used to but I suppose it is the coffee grinds used. Overall service is very friendly and they do except Apple Pay as most places in LA. The food is excellent and you will have a divine morning or lunch pretty much guaranteed:) If not you can go get a doughnut next-door which has its own following ;)

The girlies are always so nice!! The taller girls and the Gigi hadid dupe always make me the best drinks. If I have a request they always deliver !! It's a nice spot to chill and have a small bite to eat !

The store was clean and welcoming, the coffee was great I didn't have to wait long at all and the customer service was also very good, an employee named Natalie helped me pick which breakfast item to get which I ended up loving! Will definitely be coming here again.

Jocelyn and Allison took care of coffee and breakfast this morning. As an aussie finding good coffee and service is hard. These ladies were awesome 6/5 stars.

Every time I'm in Fairfax, I make sure to stop by Bluestone Lane. It's easily one of my favorite coffee shops in LA. The quality of the roast here is top notch and I really love the various coffee flavors, every time I've been here, the coffee tastes a little different in a very unique and positive experience. I also really enjoy the atmosphere, this coffee shop has plenty of seats both indoors and outdoors and wifi as well.

The worst Bluestone Lane in LA!!!! They are super slow, only one person is working here and the other employee is on the phone call or texting! Anytime that I was here it took at least 30 minutes to get a coffee... They don't care about people maybe the owner don't pay them well! Also employees are RUDE...

Ordered a 'berry bowl' from the picture looked like a regular sized cereal bowl it showed up in a very small container. Nothing like the size on the menu. Don't be fooled by these guys!

This place is disgusting. Went there at 645 this morning. We were probably the 1st customers in here, and the place is dirty. The tables were not clean and trash every where. I don't know how the women's restroom were but the men's were filthy. Trashcan full, trash on floor and no toilet paper. Again, this is 1st thing in the morning. If this was in the evening, I get it but if you start the day disgusting, no telling how bad the place looks mid day. And if the public areas are this gross, how bad is the kitchen?

The food menu is quite small, however it has a nice assortment of options for breakfast. I had the EGG & CHEESE W/ GREENS CROISSANT. Super filling, and delicious. Accompanied with a CHAI TEA LATTE. ENJOY! PS: Street parking only.

I love Bluestone Lane! They have multiple shops around LA. I decided to stop by to grab a latte and do work after lunch at Sweetgreen next door! There's a good amount of seating outdoors and a couple tables outside in the front patio as well. Service is great here - they're super friendly and care for their customers. The Beet Latte is super unique and worth trying if you like a slight chocolate flavor. It's made with beet powder and dusted with cacao powder on top. Subtle but still flavorful! Definitely worth trying :) Super cute interior, great for studying and doing work!

I have a love and hate relationship with this restaurant. First time I came here I found plastic on my eggs so they Comp the entire meal . Thank you ! Second time food was amazing and I love the overnight oaks and baked eggs ... 3rd time everything was perfect again. Today I cane here and order my usual overnight oats and avocado toast.After 10 mins waiting someone in the kitchen called my name and said they did not have the overnight oats . My question is , you Gus don't have any communication among each other? Why did I pay for it if it was not available in the first place ? I got my toast and a refund for the overnight oats

Great if you're looking to kill a whole lot of time and not get the coffee you ordered. First want to say, I totally get many places are short staffed right now. However this bluestone lane location is ridiculous and I don't even think that was their issue since it was a 1:1 employee to customer ratio when I was in. I placed an online order and waited 15 mins past the latest on my pick up window before I decided I was going to have to dip or I'd be late to where I was headed. It wasn't even busy. There were only maybe 3-4 other people in the shop and I only saw one of them get their one coffee while I was there (which also turned out to be not what the person had ordered). Seems like potentially this location is unable to keep up with their app's, DoorDash, and in person orders. I see a lot of companies limiting online orders during peak times and I am not sure why that hasn't been done here. Seems like it would greatly increase employee and customer experience. Should also mention I noticed one of the staff members being super rude (borderline gaslighting) the customer they had given the wrong coffee to. The customer seemed nothing but polite about the mishap so it was disappointing to witness.

The workers were super kind and there was great costumer service! The coffee was great!

First time visiting here and was really satisfied with their friendly and quick service! I normally order a Iced Latte when I visit coffee shops so my order came out to be $5.31 (w/ tax). I downloaded the app to receive $5 off but it didn't register in their system for some reason... but the cashier honored it anyways, so I'm really thankful for that! The latte had a nice roasty tasting so I really enjoyed the quality that they serve here. Love the aesthetic decor here and it's fairly quiet as well, so it's a perfect place to bring your laptop and work on your tasks here! Parking may be difficult, so street parking is your best option.

I wanted to find a nice place to have a coffee and read my book and came upon this place. It was the afternoon so I figured I would get a decaf. When I approached the counter, the girl behind it stared at me blankly. I asked if they had decaf espresso and she let out an exasperated sigh, rolled her eyes, and said "if you really want that I can do it." I asked if there was an issue and she said "it's just a really hard process." You would think I just asked her to do my taxes. The place was empty and she was in no way busy. Honey I get it, customer service is hard. But this is the easiest job you will ever have. Lighten up.

Cute little Aussie coffee shop and you know it's legit when they have vegemite on the menu, haha. I ordered the green baked eggs as recommended by one of the baristas! I loved the huge sourdough bread that came with it. My roommate got the breakfast burrito and we were both satisfied with our choices. I must say that the prices here are a bit steep for what you get, but worth a try. It's conveniently located next to sweetgreen, which may or may not be in your favor. I would probably come back to Bluestone for some coffee, but may skip out on the food and go next door instead! My to-try list: beet latte and Aussie iced latte (with ice-cream!) Will report back next time :) xo

Cute spot to work in with plenty of seating. Cold brew was very good but the avocado toast was so underwhelming. Tasted like lemons, not avocado. Also bad: Wifi maxed me out at one hour so I couldn't work past that.

This is a vibrant coffee shop serving up STRONG coffee. I came in for an afternoon pick-me-up and the flat white packed such a punch that I couldn't even finish it - in a good way. It was a lovely oat milk flat white that I'd absolutely order again. Love the vegan milk options! Interior was really cool. Spacious, high ceiling, blue motif. Coffee and their branded large water bottle came to about $8. Very reasonable for the area and a locally operated coffee shop.

I gave up coffee over 10 years ago and I love tea. The bluestone green matcha with almond milk is delicious. I also am crazy for the feel good lean salad! Fresh light and yeah you do feel good after eating it. Perfect for lunch ! The staff is so attentive especially Miriam who makes my order in the morning

I hate to leave this type of review because the toast itself was good and the bread had a nice crunch. I live for the crunch. I noticed what look like pencil markings on the base of the container the toast came in. I took a second bite of the toast but still focused on the markings trying to figure out why would pencil markings be where the toast is. I took a pencil from my desk and saw the markings were hairs, five small hairs; two on one side and three on the other side of the toast. I also recorded myself moving the hairs to show that they were not markings.

Aussie cafes/coffeeshops are known to have a very health conscious, laidback, beach side vibe that I absolutely love. I first visited this cafe in NYC, went almost every morning, and was so happy to find that there were actually several branches in LA! I know you can get these pretty much anywhere in LA but the beet latte and avo toast here are REALLY GOOD. They're better than the ones I've had at other places. Perfect, cozy place to chill with friends or get some work done!

Salmon & Cream Cheese Toast and Avocado Toast with the Lot were definitely a repeat! The quality of both was perfection! The serving amount of salmon and avocado on each toast was great. Made pretty quickly and plenty of outdoor seating with enough distance between all tables. Service was also helpful and kind!

Food and coffee was good but giving only 3 stars for the fact the prices are still high like a cafe but everything is served in takeout paper cups and boxes. Went there for a chill cafe spot with yummy breakfast and coffee and when everything was served I was pretty disappointed. Even when you are ordering on the computer system the images are clearly on plates, bowls and actual mugs. Won't be going back to actually fine inside or ever until they don't feel like they are taking advantage of patrons and changes from covid.

Not sure what has happened to this place. It used to be great. Just went today and did not enjoy the experience at all. First of all, staff were just not very nice, like all of them were having a bad day, run off their feet, but it was not busy, so that is not an excuse. You used to get real crockery, now everything is in take out cups and boxes. When I asked if they had plates the lady said 'no, we are a coffee shop not a cafe'. That made no sense. So we ripped the box apart and ate our avo toast. I will say it was tasty, but tiny. The smallest portion I have ever had. I also ordered the one 'with the lot' and it meant a tiny bit of prosciutto, 4 half cherry tomatoes and a few crumbles of feta. Smoothie was also tiny and watery. Coffee was actually good. As an Australian, I found nothing Australian here anymore.

This review is solely based on one accidental visit shortly after lunch at a cafe just a few steps away from here. We decided to skip dessert since we stopped here on the way and peeped their menu. Looked promising. We stopped on our walk back for a drink. I didn't see it the first time, but they have milo. Every Filipino I know grew up on Milo. It's like our crack. I spent a good chunk of my childhood eating scoops of Milo from the can until I couldn't Lee going. My friend got the same and a coconut based dessert. As I was too full, I only had 2 bites of the dessert. I didn't hate it. I would've had more had I made room for it. I was however here for the drink. One suggestion though. There's only one way for Milo to dissolve. That's with hot water. We all know that. Well they serve the milo with cold milk. So of course there's powder all over the place. It doesn't quite dissolve right away. Suggestion- have the milo with lukewarm milk then add ice. The set was great. Everyone was friendly. I'm assuming they have WiFi cos a ton of people parked themselves inside comfortably on the seats with cushions while they stared at their laptops. I'll be back to have a crack at their avo toast.

I am a huge fan of Bluestone Lane and have been enjoying their coffees, lattes and flat whites for the past three years. However, I have never ordered one of their sandwiches until now. I decided to try out their Egg & Cheese w/ Greens Croissant for breakfast. This buttery, flaky croissant comes with scrambled eggs (the perfect soft scramble) with cheddar and arugula plus their house-made Aussie aioli. The sandwich was so light and yet at the same time so filling. I love anything that includes a croissant and aioli. Plus eggs. I am always impressed when scrambled eggs are so perfectly cooked (not overdone but not runny). It's not an easy feat! But Bluestone seems to have mastered it. The sandwich was hearty enough to keep me full for most of the day. I was more than pleased and may have to add this to my rotation when visiting Bluestone(s) in the future. Recommend!!

The space is an interior dream, with the teal blue accents, marble-topped tables, and rose-gold-accented fixtures and chairs. Order at the front, pay and grab your number, then they'll bring your food to you. Bluestone Lane offers the "basic LA" brunch fare. Think: toasts (including an avocado one of course), bowls (both savory and sweet), etc. They do extend the menu beyond the basics within each category with some more creative options like a beetroot hummus toast and unique smoothie bowl comprised of avocado, fennel, fruit, milk, and more, as well as skillet-baked egg dishes. Everything we tried was fresh and satisfying for a flavorful, but somewhat healthier brunch. They have an impressive espresso/drinks list with all the usual espresso offerings as well as more unique ones like Aussie iced lattes, etc. plus wellness lattes including matchas, golden/turmeric lattes, and beet lattes. The best part is that they have a free parking lot, which is unheard of for this stretch of La Brea.

Came here to get some work done. Beet latte: comes with almond milk, $5 for 8 oz and they surcharge 2% for healthcare. I ordered it got and it was given to me lukewarm... definitely can taste the beet flavor, I still enjoyed it even though the temperature was pathetic. Salmon toast $9 - pretty good, good for a little snack, if you're hungry it won't fill you up. The place has a pretty seating area but they are lacking in outlets so it would be hard to come here if your laptop isn't fully charged. Staff was very nice. I would maybe come back to try the egg breakfast items, but other than that the coffee was okay, there are plenty of other places that sell fancy coffee. I might be back, probably not.
