"The Temecula outpost of this San Diego seafood chain is unique in that it champions area wineries through an extensive wine list that features 15 Temecula producers, including Carter Estate, Doffo, Leoness, and Wiens that can also be sampled via a Taste of Temecula wine flight. In addition to waiving the corkage fee for guests’ first two 750ml bottles, the restaurant spotlights local winery-specific pours on the fourth Tuesday of every month. Its outdoor dining patio, decorated with wine barrels, can be booked for special events." - Candice Woo

Celebrated a graduation with lunch, and this place is Top Notch, without schmantzy pricing! From the phone receptionist who took our reservation, to the greeter who seated us, to the team who made us comfortable and served our every request! The Manager was highly visible, and checked in with us, accompanied by the Chef? Chef seemed a bit shy, but needs to know that everything about the food was GREAT! A kids menu was presented with crayons for our almost 2 year old. The requested high chair was too small, so a quickly supplied booster seat fit perfectly. The seven of us were seated at a large table, in a side area. Very nice table spacing, and not noisy! And yes, it's Temecula, so show up in a T-shirt and slaps, and ENJOY! Happy to share this positive review. Congratulations on creating an environment of excellence. We'll be back!!!

We finally got around to trying out Bluewater Grill and are glad we did! We stopped in on a busy Saturday night without a reservation, but ended up waiting less than 20 minutes. We made good use of the time by grabbing seats in the bar area where we ordered an espresso martini and an old-fashioned, both of which were perfectly prepared by Kate! We were seated outside and were totally comfortable thanks to lots of heaters. We started with the calamari appetizer which was delicious and definitely enough for four people to share - note for next time! Cain brought us a little bit of their New England clam chowder to sample which was excellent! I had grilled salmon and so appreciate that it was prepared to the perfect medium rare doneness, and delicious served with green beans and scalloped potatoes. Hubby enjoyed the roasted stripe bass and finished every last bite! No room for dessert, although it was tempting as Cain explained that all are prepared in-house. All the staff were so friendly and helpful, from the hostess, to Kate and Matt at the bar, to our awesome server, Cain. We'll be back...and look forward to trying out their happy hour as well!

Had a nice lunch at Bluewater grill in Temecula on Saturday. Tammy and Janice were simply fantastic in their customer service with a smile. We started with drinks and the crab/artichoke dip and then ordered our entrees. My wife had the halibut and I had the fish and chips. The ambiance was positive with a happening vibe. Nice spot and recommended.

Google
Great seafood! I had the fisherman's platter. Plenty of food and the coleslaw was tasty and crunchy. My husband had the trout. He enjoyed it. Apparently, they have their own fishing boat and sell their catch at the front, in their seafood market. I had a wine flight, featuring wines of Temecula. I must say, Temecula wines are very good! I've never had a "White" Merlo. Very, very, yummy. Presentation was very elegant. I will be back. Enjoyed myself very much. This is a recommend!

Google
Decided I wanted a lighter meal and so I thought of seafood. Looked up this place and it was good. Had crab cakes, cedar plank salmon and chimichurri mahi. Reminds me of a place I used to go to as a kid in Oceanside. Would go again.

Wow this place was amazing!! Hands down the best seafood I had this far from the coast. First time going there but definitely won’t be the last

Found this restaurant on Google, it seemed good online, and it was. We went with no real expectation, but we quickly realized this is a bit more of a formal restaurant. The prices were all a bit on the higher end of the spectrum, but the dishes were all well made and served. The food is all fresh, and seems to be freshly made. We each ordered a different item so we can taste their variety, the only thing that seemed a bit underwhelming was the price for dish. I somewhat expected a little bit more for what we paid, no real complaints overall though. This is a great date night or a good birthday dinner type of thing, just be ready to spend a bit. The service was good, nice people, and very attentive. It's kind of in the middle of some dealerships and stuff, but the environment made me forget about all of that.

Google
Good food and service. Plenty of parking, made a reservation and first time trying this place. We enjoyed all our orders and will want to try other dishes next time !

Yelp
If you're going to eat at Bluewater Grill in Temecula, then you need to request Gilmarie! Me and my table of 12 went for Mother's day and she was amazing with making sure our order was right! She is just full of joy and had the whole table laughing several times! Luckily it was my first time there and I will only go if she is serving! Food was amazing but Gilmarie was truly the best part of the whole experience!! If you're looking for someone who is attentive, fun and relatable then Gilmarie is your girl!

Yelp
We really like Scot! We love the food but Scot is the best! We eat here all the time and the fish is always fresh! But the service is what makes the place. My wife always requests gluten free bread with garlic and they always accommodate her for a minimal charge.

Liliana G.

Yelp
Delicious food and Excellent customer service; Scott did so great with recommendations on Menu and desserts! thank you, Well done!

John M.

Yelp
Edit. The Manager Mark, actually read my review and approached me while I was still at the table. Incredibly nice guy. Addressed every issue and problem. Made the night finish on a very high note. Offered to help with the check I declined, but he brought a birthday dessert! Plus a drink for me and my lady. Some personal music to vibe too. His professionalism saved the day and his genuine care for our experience was much appreciated! Thank you Mark! We will be back!

Yelp
Writing this review so I have a reminder next time I have a taste for seafood. I get a craving for seafood a few times a year and I inevitably end up here & inevitably come away disappointed. But a year goes by & I forget....repeat the pattern. The food is just bland and WAY overpriced. The salmon maple plank board whatever just had a hint of maple flavor (maybe it was burned off?) Bread was good, potatoes okay, key lime pie okay...service was excellent though. I'm not expecting it to be like red lobster, i.e. over salted, but come on! This is supposed to be more of an upscale restaurant isn't it? Or is the name alone supposed to make up for the so-so food or justify the price? Again, service was great. I just wish the food quality matched the service.

De G.

Yelp
When we get to visit this particular Blue Water we are never disappointed. Gilmarie is ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!! In everyway. Super professional, kind. The food is already fantastic but she makes everything that much better!! Thanks again for an amazing dinner/date night with my husband!!! :)

Yelp
Overall solid seafood restaurant. Our server was efficient. Checking in on Yelp you are offered a coupon for a discounted drink (Yelp app just says to redeem and no restrictions mentioned). But our server told us it has to be M-F and only at the bar not at the dining area so we weren't able to redeem it on this day. Not sure if this is new but if you check in just be aware. Everything was overall good, good fried shrimp and fries. Inside has a modern seafood type restaurant look with California beach feel. Probably our favorite was the Key Lime pie. Good amount of pucker and nice crust.

Yelp
To celebrate my birthday I decided on lunch at the Bluewater Grill in Temecula, having passed the restaurant on several occasions and seeing several vehicles in their parking lot each time I drove by. I had a serious desire for seafood, and I didn't want to drive or ride to San Diego to fulfill my desire. Having done my research I had my meal narrowed down to either the Lobster Roll or the Fish N Chips, which I would pair with a glass of wine or a craft beer. Upon arrival I was surprised at the size of the parking lot and how well maintained, with shrubs, trees, and smooth pavement. As we walked to the entrance from the car, I could help but notice that the establishment was much larger than I remembered during a brief visit many years ago, and I would guess the additional alfresco dining area with gas heaters and torches was the result of the COVID-19 era. Once inside we were greeted by the receptionist and could immediately smell the fresh seafood displayed at the onsite seafood market. To the right was the Bar Counter dining area, and to the left is the huge dining area with a nautical theme. Choosing one of the large booths, we were immediately greeted by Gwen, a charming, kind, professional lady with excellent customer service skills, and a warm disposition. She welcomed us, presented menus, and in a brief moment we had a carafe of water, glasses and some warm sourdough bread with butter. To begin our experience, we selected cocktails (50% off complements of Yelp "check-in"); a Mai Tai and a Moscow Mule as we perused the menu. The dining area consist of tables along the windows, booths in the center, and larger tables in the corners for groups. The atmosphere is nautical, tropical, calm, yet upbeat, and the amount of patrons that entered during our stay confirmed their popularity and approval. Their lobster roll is offered New England style (chilled) and hot butter, which I happily chose, with crispy fries as the side; the mrs selected the Pan Seared Scallops, and the crisp Sautéed Green Beans. When the food arrived everything was visually appealing, and perfectly prepared. The Scallops were seared to perfection and melted in your mouth. The Lobster Roll was nicely toasted, packed with warm buttery lobster flesh and with fresh lemon applied, I was extremely pleased. The meals paired with a glass of Central Coast Chardonnay, which further enhanced the experience. Blue Water Grill is an ideal place for a special or casual date; business lunch; romantic evening; small or large gathering; and even receptions, having a secluded party area outside. It was a birthday lunch I will always remember. Highly recommended.

Yelp
Celebrated Mother's Day/my mom's birthday here and overall pretty good. We ordered some apps like Crab and Artichoke Dip with tortilla chips and the Calamari. Our party also tried the Rainbow Trout, Lobster Roll and Fisherman's Platter. My Lobster Roll was good but I ended up just eating the lobster straight off the bread, comes with a lot! Tried a few bites of my brother's Rainbow Trout and I really liked the texture, sauce, and almonds on top. Very busy during Mother's Day, basically all tables were taken. Tammy was nice but I also told her it was my mom's bday, she said they offer a dessert with a candle on it, but she forgot. I'll give her benefit of the doubt since it was Mother's Day and very busy. Still a great time nonetheless

Yelp
Calamari and Salmon were amazing. Sides were okay. Ambiance was fantastic. Our waiter, Brian, was super nice. Might be my new favorite restaurant

Neki H.

Yelp
I decided to order the Louie salad this visit. The salad was good. I wasn't really a fan of the dressing. I requested the lemon Cesar, which tasted better. Our waitress was great! Thank you

Yelp
Food was good Service was great Ambience was good Went there to celebrate my 5th wedding anniversary and it was a delight.

Yelp
My daughter brought my wife and I and her brother to a Father's Day lunch at Bluewater Grill in Temecula. I hadn't been to that location ever, but my daughter and her husband frequent the Carlsbad location and had great things to say about it. We had 12:45 PM reservations of which we arrived on time and were immediately greeted and seated. It wasn't a minute or two that our server Michelle came by and asked us for our drink order and provided answers to our questions regarding the menu. My wife and I ordered their brewed tea, which was outstanding and a couple of my kids ordered a couple microbrews on tap which they were happy with. We started with a half dozen oysters. Two of the six were bad even though you couldn't tell the difference. We informed Michelle and she quickly brought another order for us which was perfect. I love super potent horseradish in my cocktail sauce, theirs was mild, but still tasted great with lemon on the fresh oysters. I ordered their grilled shrimp taco and New England clam chowder combo, my wife ordered their chopped salad. The corn tortilla on my taco was handmade and fabulous. The grilled shrimp was not very flavorful and the green salsa that they served with the taco seemed like a very average store-bought tomatillo sauce. Their clam chowder gets an A+ and I am a big chowder Hunter, always looking for a great New England clam chowder when I'm traveling. I will be ordering this in quarts on a regular basis from now on! The vinaigrette dressing on my wife's salad, she thought was excellent and I thought the salad was very good as well. My daughter ordered their Mediterranean AHI salad. Looking at the sliced Ahi, it had a blue green, shiny film, which I commonly see on "fresh tuna" that has been defrosted and left in the meat locker too long. She returned that dish and instead ordered their Wagyu cheeseburger. She split it with her brother and both were very disappointed. The bottom half of the bun was completely soaked and their comment regarding the meat was that it tasted like it had freezer burn. They returned that and didn't order anything else. My son-in-law got the taco plate with grilled shrimp and his opinion was similar to mine. The restaurant was very busy and the customer service and staff was excellent. You could tell they liked where they worked, but I could also tell Michelle's eyes that this isn't the first time she's run across the problem like we experienced. I would've loved to give this restaurant five stars but because of the very inconsistent quality of each entrée, I was generous with three stars. I hope the chef and management pay particular attention to my comments and work on resolving them, because my daughter has not experienced this kind of problem at the Carlsbad location. There is great outdoor seating and plenty of parking.

Yelp
This will be my new go to for local seafood. Had the scallops and seared ahi and absolutely loved it.

Marie G.

Yelp
Came here for a late lunch on a Friday to kickoff our Temecula getaway. I loved that Bluewater is dog friendly and we brought our two small pups. We were offered bread to start - delicious sourdough. We ordered the grilled octopus, which was fantastic. It was a little tough to cut up with our butter knives, so I'd recommend asking for a sharper knife. We also ordered the seared scallops and requested no bacon. Unfortunately, it came out with the bacon. They took it back and attempted to scrape off the bacon. It came back but we did notice that there was still some leftover. We ended up just picking it off ourselves. The scallops were really yummy and I loved the sauce. For entrees, I ordered the soup & salad combo, with the New England clam chowder with a half crab Louie salad. My husband ordered a Manhattan clam chowder cup and a lobster roll. His soup came out first, since mine was part of a combo. The clam chowder was pretty good, especially with a little added pepper. The crab Louie salad does not come with avocado (I was originally going to order the full seafood Louie salad but was convinced by our waiter to get the combo). I had asked for the dressing to be on the side but unfortunately it came out with gobs on top of the greens. I did take off the slathered pieces but it was quite a few greens. The salad itself was very good, and felt pretty fresh. My husband really enjoyed his lobster roll & chowder too. Overall, I thought the food was pretty yummy and felt very fresh. The service was super kind & friendly, although a little slow & with mistakes. Would still recommend.

Yelp
Great spot to grab a meal after drowning yourself in grape juice at the wineries. They have very spacious indoor and outdoor seating. We ordered a ton of food but the favorites were the paella and the fried calamari. I do recommend the kids meals for your small ones because it comes in a nice little bento. Ample parking too.

Diego R.

Yelp
We started our pre Superbowl celebration @ Bluewater Grill and we had an exceptional experience. Hope was our waitress and she has great customer service skills. She had a friendly demeanor, efficient, and attentive. We ordered the New England clam chowder, France's Bouillabaisse, prawn linguine and BBQ pork ribs with a side of fries. Everyone really enjoyed their choices. The chowder was a briny goodness of clams with creamy, comforting flavors. France Bouillabaisse was delicious, fresh. rich, aromatic, and brimming with seafood goodness. It's broth, fresh fish, mussels, clams, shrimp and scallops, with rouille. However, we asked for a side of linguine to add to it. The shrimp linguine was cooked al dente, the shrimp was juicy and plump. I squeezed a lemon to add zing. The ribs were grilled perfectly, the tender meat fell off the bone. Will definitely return to try the other food choices!

Yelp
Highly highly satisfied with my experience at Bluewater Grill! We had a party of 24 and they did great at accomodating to my whole family! Nothing here disappointed me! For starters, parking is not an issue. The lot is pretty big so I don't see parking being an issue at all. Like I said, we were a party of 24. We had one waitress and she did great! I didn't catch her name but I absolutely think she did a great job. She was always making sure my family had all their needs met. She felt genuine as well and made my family feel very comfortable and relaxed. She was patient with us, did great at explaining whatever questions we had on the menu and she even expressed to us that she loved our family as well. Major props to her because her customer service was on point. Ambiance was very nice! The restaurant was nice and clean. Very simple and classy. It's not a small restaurant so seating wasn't an issue. They gave my family the back patio and at first I was a little worried because it was really cold that day, but it was nice and warm back there. The patio was closed off and there were heaters so it was actually super nice there! Another plus, they let us connect our bluetooth to the speaker back there :) Food was super good! My boyfriend and I split the Fisherman's Platter and I thought it was really good. Another thing I like, they split the portions for us! My cousin had the panko crusted calamari steak and she said it was really good. She enjoyed that it wasn't heavily breaded and the portion was good. My other cousin had the wagyu burger and even though he got it well done...it was delicious. Portion was huge! I also had the New England Clam chowder and I loved how much clam it had in it. I also had a cocounut margarita and it was good! Overall, I loved it! I was soooo satisfied with my experience, I really have nothing bad to say about it. If there was a location closer to me, I would visit it more often but if I ever catch myself in the area again, I definitely will try to go back!

David J.

Yelp
New location closer to home. This restaurant in Newport Beach holds sentimental value. Trying this new location held steady with the quality we're used to at the Newport location. We truly enjoyed the food here without wavering in standards. The fish is always a good decision. Excellent service. Great place to stop when picking up your wine in Temecula.

Yvonne R.

Yelp
Gave this place another chance and glad I did! The service was fast and attentive, the almond crusted trout delicious, and the outdoor patio wonderful. It was a hot day but with the shade and fan it was great. A small salad as a side option would be nice. The sourdough bread is always hot and fresh too.

Dojo A.

Yelp
Been coming here for years and this is by far still our favorite seafood place in the valley. I can still say that their clam chowda has never changed, it's still the same as I always have experienced it. If you're looking for a grilled seafood dish, I highly recommend their blackened swordfish. Also try the calamari, oysters Rockefeller and the cioppino. Lots of great selections. They also have seasonal specials so don't forget to ask your server.

Danielle M.

Yelp
Our server SCOTT was friendly, professional and so helpful explaining the menu, pointing out what is unique, and making our experience memorable. Great attitude and made our experience unforgettable. Scott works most days, except Wednesdays & Thursdays. Meet him behind the bar and order a drink on the weekends too for a great bartender. Claim chowder was AMAZING! Get the bowl... you won't regret it. As someone who doesn't prefer claim chowder, I love it and could have ordered a 2nd bowl. Reservations were a breeze & great environment!

Sajan G.

Yelp
The clam chowder was beyond amazing! Had a very garlic taste to it. The wagyu cheeseburger did not have much flavor but it was still good. Definitely needed the bacon. The staff was very friendly and the place had a nice vibe to it. Would recommend.

Olivia J.

Yelp
Beautiful restaurant with so many different options!! The restaurant was quite big w/ a lot of seating. It was quite busy so would recommend reserving seats. The restaurant had a very noticeable fish scent which makes sense but can be overwhelming for sensitive noses but 9/10 for ambiance. The service was efficient. They were super friendly and helpful so 10/10 for service. Food was very good and the portions were big! Everything was fresh and had flavor. Clam Chowder: Felt light and nice 10/10 Rainbow Trout Amandine: large piece of fish, slightly bland but the sauces and potatoes made up for it. 7/10 Panko Calamari Steak: Calamari was quite chewy and hard but the sides (scalloped potatoes and coconut ginger rice) were really good!! 7.5/10 Fisherman's Platter: very good! The scallops were well made, shrimps were crispy and fresh and the cod was uniquely made. The sides (fries and chipotle rice) were flavorful 9/10 Tuscan Artichoke Rockfish: the artichokes were quite tasty as it was panko coated. Fish and the risotto were quite good as well. 9/10 Java Mud Pie: can easily be shared by 2 people at least. Good way to end the night as the dessert was light on the stomach. The flavor of the coffee ice cream stood out. 10/10 Overall, we would came back here again as the flavors, staff and ambiance were excellent!

renee c.

Yelp
The food was so flavorful, service was prompt even though we didn't have a reservation and was told the wait would be 40 min and thankfully it wasn't!! Our waitress Hope was the sweetest and very informative on all the best dishes. I had the sand dabs and it was delicious! If you are ever in Temecula and you're a seafood lover, this is your place!

Michael G.

Yelp
I've lived in the area for quite a while but tried Bluewater Grill for the first time and it didn't disappoint. We dined out on the patio and both inside and outside of the restaurant had a nice feel. The heaters made it just perfect for the wife and toddler on those cool Temecula nights. Courtney was our server after a little mix up with tables but she did a fine job taking care of us. She was attentive and all the staff were nice and courteous. The table mix up wasn't even a big deal to us but they took the calamari off of our bill because of it. The food was great. My wife got the coconut margarita, which she loved and I had a beer. For appetizers we had the calamari, oysters and scallops. All three were superb. For main courses we had the blackened swordfish and the trout and our 5 year old had the kids shrimp plate. We also finished the dinner off with the mud pie and everything was cooked well and tasted great. We'll definitely be returning to Bluewater Grill more in the future.

Lynn C.

Yelp
Place is lovely service was on point. Food looked delicious lacked some flavor. Bread so good New England chowder very good.

MaDonna W.

Yelp
We absolutely loved our time at Bluewater Grill in Temecula. I know it seems a bit unnatural to be in the desert and have some extremely fresh, satisfying seafood . But we did ... We enjoyed the sea scallops , the salmon. There's Caesar salad, which was delicious and of course they have some of the very best Temecula wines. We enjoyed a bottle of their Chardonnay . We also brought a very nice bottle from Paso Robles and our lovely waitress did not charge us a corkage fee. The ambience is just like some of the seaside Bluewater grills that they have in orange county same great feeling same vibe, same great service we highly recommend you go and enjoy yourself for some delicious seafood in Temecula.

Krysten S.

Yelp
Go here if you're okay with spending a bit above average than your regular date night spot. We were craving seafood and this place definitely didn't disappoint as we had a reservation and were seated fairly quickly. There was a lot of people and the noise level was a little distracting at times but the food was worth it. We started with coconut margaritas which were killer, then the oysters, crab/artichoke dip (maybe skip), the misoyaki butterfish which was sooo good and then the trout almandine. The trout was massive and I think a little more sauce would've been the move but all in all a great dinner, just a bit more on the expensive side.

Sandi D.

Yelp
The food was terrific! We went for our date night and started with the calamari which was one of the best I've had and that's a lot! Fish servings were perfect size and the wait staff was courteous, professional and attentive!

Foodie G.

Yelp
It's always a nice evening at Bluewater Grill. We sat at the bar & Scot took care of us and was amazing. Great conversation, great food, drinks and service. I love their coconut margaritas and Scot made sure my scallops were well done for me! The bars ambience is always such a great vibe.

Mo G.

Yelp
Blue Water Grill offers a delightful atmosphere with attentive staff and delicious food. However, the drinks fell short of expectations. Despite this, the overall dining experience is enjoyable, making it a recommended spot for those seeking a pleasant ambiance and tasty cuisine. It maybe a 50/50 chance of my husband and I returning.

Kenneth J.

Yelp
I came here on Father's Day and was really excited to try this place out! The place is clean and the service was average. Nothing spectacular, but I don't knock off any stars for that. I was highly disappointed in the snapper. It was too salty and a lot of the other entrees I tried on that day were the same. It lacked flavor and I couldn't justify the price point.

K C.

Yelp
This was my first visit to Bluewater Grill in Temecula, Ca. It was Saturday afternoon around 1:30 p.m. They have outdoor seating but we sat inside. The decor is nautical and comfortable. My friend had the tacos. The options are fish or shrimp and she chose the fish (battered). The tacos come with a side of rice. She said they were the best tacos she's ever had! I had the calamari "steak". The calamari is flattened and breaded, although the calamari was tender, the breading did not stay on the calamari so there were several bites of just breading or just calamari. It comes with a choice of two sides, I had the roasted potatoes and green beans. The potatoes were delicious but the green beans were waxy and without any seasoning or flavor. Our server was tentative and knowledgeable of menu items. I would like to explore other options on the menu and do plan on going back.

Joseph R.

Yelp
Have eaten here twice the most recent time was four days ago service is great food is good don't recommend the steak the sea food was good both times good location do recommend trying this establishment

Susan A.

Yelp
They have excellent service and the scalloped potatoes and blackened swordfish are the best I've had. This is my go to restaurant for celebrations or simply some really good food served with some really good hot sourdough.

Heidi D.

Yelp
Love the options on the menu and kids' menu! Started with the poke and calamari. Poke was a little more wet and soy-forward than sesame oil-forward (which I like) but my family loved it. I enjoyed the surf and turf which was delicious. My steak was cooked medium rare correctly and seasoned well. The lobster tail was maybe a touch undercooked and underseasoned, but I was very pleased with being able to ask for spinach instead of potatoes (along with the green beans). Both vegetables were cooked and seasoned well. I think my steak knife could've been sharper (maybe they can get some new ones). I was so pleased with the little bento boxes for my children that included fruit, and that the entree choices were more elevated than you typical kids' menu choices. So if there were some misses, how do they get 5-stars? Our server was AMAZING!! Hope was so attentive, her timing was impeccable, she was the definition of a perfect, professional and wonderful server. We were celebrating my dad's 72nd birthday and she made it feel really special and high quality. I might have rated the food 4-stars but Hope made our lunch and celebration a 5-star dining experience!

Ruchelle T.

Yelp
Melody, our server was great! We went there for our daugher's birthday celebration and we ate good! The surf and turf was amazing and the caesar salad was outstanding...they accommodated us when we requested to move to another table since it was too crowded for the 6 of us. The ambience was cozy, perfect lighting for a fantastic celebration. We will definitely come back again.

Susan O.

Yelp
Went with Family a few days ago. Had lunch menu, Chimicurri Mahi, Pacfic, was delish just next time I would have them watch the salt the cook potatoes asparagus, tomatoes, cremini mushrooms. (Some may like that, but for me, cutting salt from diet) My husband had Two makes a combo (chowder &fish taco) Family members had Italy's Cioppino soup & crispy calamari & Seafood Louie Salad. Bread.yummm. Service was very good. Ambiance is typical fish house. They have a nice outside seating, with very comfortable chairs inside seating.

Juli R.

Yelp
Hubby and I had dinner here with another couple last night. Server was attentive - if a little over zealous- and made sure we had what we needed- water, bread etc. We each had something different from the menu: pasta with seafood, seafood Louie salad, steamed clams and veggies and rice. Only draw back was that the steamed Clams were much too acidic from the lemons according to our friend. Other than that the food was good. Restaurant was calm at a little bit before 6pm but quickly filled up- piece of advice- make a reservation!

Marlon V.

Yelp
Food was great. Good atmosphere and friendly knowlethe Staff. A little pricey and sometimes crowded.

Cindy E.

Yelp
I started out with the award winning New England Clam chowder and let me just tell you it was DELICIOUS! One of the Best I've ever had. My whole reason for choosing this place was to try the Fish and Chips. I already knew what I wanted and didn't even need to look at the menu. I had heard Great things about how good it was. Oh how I was completely let down. The batter was the right thickness but oily and did not taste right, kind of tasted like fried in old oil. No flavor to it at all. The Cole slaw had no flavor and the French fries tasted like left over McDonalds fries. My husband had the Gemeli pasta dish with shrimp and scallops which he let me try and it was very creamy and flavorful. Sorry Bluewater, I'll stick with The Hive for my go to on the fish and chips. I will say we had Great service. Seated quickly and our waitress made sure we were taken care of.

Yelp
The food is awesome and the value of the prices is on point! BUT what made our night was the incredible service of our server Gilmarie! She made the entire night a fun and festive experience!

Yelp
Plenty of fresh seafood here. Yes please. Had a few appetizers to start including fresh pacific oysters, crab and artichoke dip and shrimp cocktail. All were tasty. The oysters were my fav, very fresh and creamy. For my entree' I got the miso marinated black cod. Excellent!! I would order this again.

Yelp
Last weekend I had the pleasure to enjoy a wine and food pairing dinner at the Bluewater Grill. I can't stop thinking about one of the pairings and that was the Tuscan Sea Bass paired with Palumbo Family Vineyard's Tre Fratelli. As of right now, it is not on the menu, but if management is looking for a new dish they would be crazy not to add it to the menu. It was that good! Great Mediterranean flavors with Crushed Cherry Tomatoes and Green Olives topped with a Pine nut Relish. Palumbo's Tre Fratelli was a perfect match for the dish. Palumbo is one of my favorite Wineries in the Temecula Valley, so I was a happy man!

Yelp
If you want a dining experience like no other- go to Bluewater Grill and ask for Gilmarie. She is amazing. She truly cares about her customers and will make your dining experience memorable. The food is delicious and the service by Gilmarie is phenomenal. You will be treated like royalty. I promise that you will be return customers and will request Gilmarie as she is what will make it a dining experience like no other.

Yelp
We ordered... Chipotle Swordfish and Black Cod, crab and artichoke dip, All are very tasty and delicious, portions are pretty good for the price. Paired my swordfish with the Energren Oktoberfest beer and it was perfect. Started off with the sourdough bread and butter, served warm and fresh out of the oven and the butter just melted right on and went down the hatch. The crab artichoke dip... so yummy as we scooped it out with the chips. The grilled black cod also was very delicious, flaked off perfectly on top of the seasoned rice, and complimented well with the side order of sautéed spinach. Service was great and fast, only missed my lady's soda but as reminded, was served right away. The place is nice and cozy. Can be romantic, and there are plenty of outside seating. Very nice location and a bit upscale. One of my favorite dining spots in Temecula.

Yelp
We have been here so many times and this time it was over the top. The food! The music! But ... The service! Fulmar's took our experience to the next level. Sweet. Sooo attentive! Funny. We have family visiting my from Maryland and they were astounded. We left the restaurant talking about the service in a party of six. Each of us. And as usual, the food was great. And since it was Wednesday the music from the bar was going. This time it was a great dude playing all sorts of music we could all jam to from three generations. Thank you. We will miss max but because of Gilmarie we will be back more often.

Yelp
I visited earlier today during a busy time, and I had the pleasure of being served by Gilmarie. She was absolutely amazing and made me feel right at home with her superior service. Her attentiveness and warm demeanor truly stood out, and she made my dining experience exceptional. I can't wait to come back for the delicious food, but especially to be served by Gilmarie again. Highly recommend!
