"What It Is: A good-looking restaurant/bar in East Williamsburg with a coffee shop up front Perfect For: First/Early In The Game Dates Up front at Bar Beau, there’s a coffee counter, and, at night, the back room is a restaurant/bar. Just go through a little hallway and you’ll find yourself in a nice space with a long marble bar, a bunch of tables, and a skylight. They’re serving a limited menu right now, and we stopped by recently to try some shishito peppers and a burger. The burger was small and a little pricey, but also pretty good. The Verdict: Once they start serving their full dinner menu, we’ll be back for another meal here. In the meantime, it’s worth stopping by for a cocktail if you’re in the area." - hannah albertine, bryan kim, katherine lewin, hillary reinsberg, chris stang, matt tervooren

I went to a friend’s birthday party with about 20 people. Our server was super attentive and did a great job of taking care of everyone. A few of us shared the Brussels sprouts, which were pretty tasty and a great way to share a dish among 3-4 people. I ordered the mushroom ravioli and decided to add short rib to my entree for an extra $10. It was a fantastic choice! The flavor was rich but not too overpowering. For drinks, I got an espresso martini and a whiskey sour. Both were a bit too sweet for my taste, though.

The place has multiple stories. Really cool vibes and layout. Lovely decor. The food was really good with plenty of portions. The hamburger and the Mac and cheese were plenty for two people. The Brussels sprouts and wings were good as well. Definitely worth trying.

We visited from out of town and saw this place on Yelp. Told my husband we have to go check it out because all the photos looked so nice. Came and instead the place looks amazing. The hostesses were very kind and nice as soon as I walked in. Maybe it’s Christmas season so the vibe was super nice and christmasy. We were seated upstairs. When I walked up a waitress was already there waiting to seat me. We only ordered the wild mushroom flatbread because we had plan to eat somewhere else but I wanted to try the flatbread and it was quite good. My husband is a vegetarian so he enjoyed it very much! Come during the holiday season it’s very pretty.

I recently dined at this restaurant for a dual birthday celebration with coworkers visiting from out of town. Overall, the experience was positive, but there were a few notable downsides. **Positives:** The customer service was excellent. When I called to accommodate our large party, the staff was very helpful. Both the waiter and hostess were incredibly friendly and made us feel welcome. The food was also quite good. My Old Fashioned was well-crafted, and we all loved the baked brie—definitely a highlight of the meal. Others in our group enjoyed the duck, mushroom ravioli, steak fries and mac 'n' cheese, and I tried them as well. Each dish was delicious and well-prepared. **Negatives:** However, the dining experience wasn't without its drawbacks. We were seated on the rooftop, which was extremely hot. I inquired about sitting downstairs, where we could have all fit at one table in a much cooler environment, but I was informed that seating downstairs wasn't an option. This was disappointing, especially since the downstairs area was beautifully designed and much more comfortable. Additionally, while the risotto was decent, it wasn't exactly what we expected. Three of us ordered it and were surprised by the very strong lemon flavor, which wasn't mentioned in the dish description. Lastly, the prices seemed a bit steep for the experience of sitting at a picnic table in the heat. In summary, while the food and service were commendable, the seating arrangements and unexpected flavors in certain dishes were disappointing, especially considering the prices.

It’s not cheap but the food is excellent. Lots of beer choices, rooftop bar is cool if the weather is nice. Poutine was great, good fries, plenty of toppings, decent portion to share for four people. Really liked the pickled onions. Would ask for more next time. I personally do not enjoy brussel sprouts, but they were a hit with the rest of the table. The duck leg pappardelle was everything I hoped and dreamed it would be. Perfect flat noodles, rich flavors, and a perfect balance of ingredients. I couldn’t get enough, but then felt satisfied as I took the last bite. I would absolutely order that again. The chicken sandwich looks amazing and the Mac and cheese sounds incredible. Hopefully will be back soon.

This is a great place for dinner or appetizers and drinks. We sat at the bar upstairs in the late afternoon/early evening and it was wonderful! The food is delicious! The Brussels sprouts and baked Brie were amazing too! They make beautiful drinks if you like that type of thing AND have good beer as well, so it's a fit for everyone's drinking preference.

Located on Pine Ave. & Broadway, next to Sevilla. There's street parking, but it can be challenging to find a spot during peak hours. We parked about 1 block away in the 'Landmark Square Parking Lot' using the Pine Ave/1st St. entrance and paid $15.50 for 4.5 hrs. We made reservations for my friend's birthday dinner on Saturday evening and was such a great choice! I had their 'Bo Burger Royale', which is a double patty and crispy pork belly with pickled-green tomato, lettuce, white cheddar & truffle aioli' accompanied with a 'Dry Apple Cider'. We ordered their 'Brussels Sprouts' & 'Mac 'N Cheese' and shared them as appetizers. Everything tasted amazing. Shout out to our server, Hugo who was extremely attentive and helpful with the menu. He made sure that we had a great birthday dinner experience. After dinner, Hugo described their upstairs rooftap with a full bar, and of course, we decided to go try it. We enjoyed our cocktails with patio-picnic table style seating until their last call, which was 10:45PM (the cocktails were better downstairs, though). Our server upstairs was Daniel C. who was also very attentive and friendly. This is a sign of excellent management. Overall, we had a great experience here and will definitely return.

Google
The customer service was impeccable from start to We had an incredible experience at BO-Beau! The customer service was impeccable from start to finish—our server was friendly, attentive, and made us feel so welcome. He recommended the Duck Pappardelle, and wow, it was absolutely delicious! The perfect balance of flavors and cooked to perfection. My wife had the Prime Rib, and while she thought it could have used a bit more flavor, the overall experience was still great. The drinks were very good as well—perfectly crafted and really complemented our meal. The atmosphere was cozy, and I managed to snap a picture of the cupcake for dessert—definitely worth trying! We’ll be back for sure.

Yelp
I can't even call this just "service" because Daniel C. truly made it an experience! From start to finish, he was so sweet, funny, and engaging--he kept us laughing the whole night and was incredibly attentive. He even took the nicest pictures for our group, which we'll cherish forever! The food was so yummy!! Every bite was perfection, and the drinks were just as delicious. To top it off, as we were leaving, another super kind waiter ran after me to return my chapstick that I forgot on the table--such a thoughtful gesture! The entire staff was so warm and welcoming, and the atmosphere of the restaurant was just *chef's kiss*. Can't wait to come back!!

Yelp
Came here for the Brussel sprouts and I'll probably be back. Good service, but the picnic table seats weren't the most comfortable to me. I wanted coffee with the donuts holes. I've had wonderful coffee at other Cohn restaurants, but the coffee here was just meh. I would definitely recommend this place.

Yelp
When in Long Beach, no matter what the reason, make sure you get reservations for BO-beau for your dinner experience. This is a nice sized French fusion, if you will, restaurant that knocks it out of the park! I have been a couple times now and really can't wait to go back. This is one of those, "I want to try everything in the menu" type places. And if it weren't for my wife stopping me, I probably would have! The problem there is their servings are so big and filling, I probably would have only gotten through a couple orders and had to "box" the rest! But, regardless, all of the meals we ordered were delicious and decent sized! We had the prime rib and halibut, which were amazing but the sides and appetizers were equally delicious! For those we ordered the Brussels Sprouts and mushroom risotto and added the short ribs to the risotto. The BEST!! (Make sure you add the ribs) The service both times I visited was 5 star leave your attitude at the door type and very knowledgeable about the meals they offered!, which I LOVE! (Shout out to Ollie(?) who served us that night!. Sorry if I got your name wrong.) Neither my wife nor I are drinkers so we don't have a review on the rooftop bar. But if it's anything like the restaurant, it's a "don't miss"! Would definitely, 10 out of 10 times, recommend Bo-beau!

Yelp
Very classy and clean restaurant with pretty good food although a bit pricier. The server was attentive, polite, and funny. The only issue was parking which is def hard to find in LA so we paid around $20-$30 I think for one of the parking garages across the street. I came here for a friend's birthday and tried their French onion soup and meat balls with goat cheese. Wagyu Beef Meatballs with pomodoro, goat cheese puree, basil (gf) = 4/5 - Soft Wagyu meatballs were pretty filling, I really enjoyed the goat cheese pairing :) French Onion Soup caramelized onions, swiss cheese, garlic croutons, mozzarella cheese. = 3.5/5 - Solid onion soup with a TON of onions. The top had a generous thick cheese and the flavor was hearty and good!

Yelp
Checked out Bo-beau for LA's Dining week last night. It was my first visit. The upstairs which is open most days is casual with community dining picnic tables. They advertise it as an urban beer garden. The downstairs is industrial chic. Very hip. Closed Mondays and Tuesdays. Day time hours limited to Saturday and Sundays. The downstairs is not open every night, so check if that's what you want. We chose the downstairs and were seated in a comfy booth. For restaurant week there is a prixe fixe menu of 3 courses with some choices in each course. We checked out the Brussel Sprouts and Brie. The real kicker with the Sprouts is the pork belly pieces mixed in and the fat that undoubtedly coats them. Excellent. The Brie with the jam was very good was just enough for loading up the two slices of grilled toast. For entrees we chose the Fish and Short Ribs. The Halibut was served over orzo and was excellent. Nicely grilled on the outside moist on the inside. Perfect. The Short Ribs were tasty but a bit tougher than they should be. For dessert we both opted for the rhubarb bread pudding. It was very good. More of a rhubarb jam over a bread pudding square versus chunks of bread. But still very good. Very nice wine and cocktail list. We opted for the Malbec which was very light, more like a pinot noir. Our server, Mark, was gracious and knowledgeable about the menu. Excellent service. I'll be back to check out the upstairs!

Yelp
Location is very convenient to the Long Beach Convention Center. We visited ALA that weekend and decided to dine here for dinner tonight. There is a parking structure right at the back, which was $15 per day. We went about 6:30pm and it wasn't busy at all. We were a bigger party, so we were seated upstairs on the rooftop, which I was afraid it would be too cold, but it was surprisingly really warm! They really kept it nice and warm at the rooftop which was pretty nice. We had to all squeeze on this bench table, which was doable, but not the comfiest seating. We all made our rounds of order, which I ordered the steak and frites. We also got to try some appetizers to share as well, which we tried the mac and cheese poutine, calamari, and brussel sprouts. I actually enjoyed the brussel sprouts a lot as they were very fragrant. The short rib on the poutine was also pretty good as well, although the calamari was a the most bland and disappointing appetizer. Our appetizers came out in a timely manner, but geez... the wait for our entrees was FOREVER. We were already tired from the day, but we waited about 2 hours since we started ordering and it really made all of us pretty cranky. Good thing we ordered the appetizers, but also since we had some of the appetizers. Although the wait really killed our appetite when the entrees arrived 2 hours later... We were told that the restaurant was backed up with orders, but the restaurant itself wasn't even insanely busy as they claimed to be. There were still many empty tables around the restaurant, and many tables without their food... The 2 hour wait was a killer. Once our entrees arrived, I was finally able to try the streak and frites. Honestly, for the price and wait for this entree, it really wasn't worth it. The steak wasn't as tender as it looked, and the sauce it had didn't really complement it well. The fries itself tasted better than the steak, which I really had more of the fries. Aside from the wait, our server was extremely nice and one of them did apologize for the wait and offered free dessert. We didn't want to wait any longer... Food was nice, but the wait really had us upset that night.

Yelp
The rooftop is a great place to hangout and people-watch if you're sitting at the ledge. Service was great, food was tasty and we enjoyed being outside. The noise level wasn't bad. I guess it may have been if we had a larger party, but the hubby and I were huddled close together so it was perfect!

Yelp
Again, the brussel sprouts have yet to meat a worthy contender. They reign supreme over LA county - maybe even all of California. Prices are steep but plates are definitely shareable. Tried the short-rib poutine this time and lo, it was a hit. Very attentive and friendly service here. I've noticed more small, local alcohol options on the menu which is exciting. I don't know if I'm just noticing or if it's always been that way, but featuring beers from the likes of Smog City and Booze Brothers is great for the beer nerds who wind up here. The TVs were, again, a weird addition that kind of cheapens the vibe but overall the heated rooftop is a nice experience year-round.

Marie AK C.

Yelp
I've been to BO-beau kitchen + roof tap a couple of times - on a date, happy hour & business meeting - and each experience has been stellar. The first floor dining area is much more of a trendy upscale experience whereas upstairs is more of a causal rooftop bar experience. On Thursday, December 19, 2024, I dined on the rooftop for the first time. Yes, it does get cold on the rooftop in California in the middle of December, but there are heaters, so you'll be fine :) The rooftop beer garden features 50 taps, 50 + vodkas, martinis, hand crafted cocktails and eclectic wine selection. Their dishes and small bites menu includes everything from ratatouille, wagyu burger, roasted chicken, bone-in ribeye and pork porterhouse to flatbreads. One of my fave items, "Korean bulgogi fries" was no longer on the menu - our server informed us that they're focusing more euro dishes. But we were still able to order it which was awesome (I guess you could say we ordered off their secret menu). Parking is a bit challenging because it's downtown Long Beach. They don't have Valet, but there is an hourly parking lot (Park Mobile App) a few hundred feet away... it was $8/hour. Womp womp womp. But totally worth it. If you're in downtown Long Beach and looking for a trendy spot with incredible service, look no further than Bo Beau!!

Yelp
We came here with a party of 6 for the Dine LA fundraiser event and I was throughly pleased with the food, service and ambiance! Our waiter was very kind and checked on us frequently. They timed bringing out the food perfectly for a set meal and all of the options were delicious. I had always wanted to visit and Dine LA gave us a reason to, and i'll definitely come again!

Victor G.

Yelp
I expected hi quality French, Belgian and German beers, but they carry the basics. The Brussel Sprouts are beary good, just like I make them at home.

Brittany M.

Yelp
Had a great dinner experience at BO-beau! This was my first time having dinner in the downstairs area as we usually go upstairs for the bar area. The downstairs was very nice and the food was amazing! We had a very nice and attentive server that gave us food and drink recommendations. We were a party of 7 girls that were there for a bachelorette and we had a great time at dinner. We started with drinks, half of us ordered the Le Romantique (which I ordered) and the other half ordered the rhubarb Paloma. All of us really enjoyed our drink and ordered another! We ended up ordering family style for food, we got the Brussel sprouts, poutine, wagyu sliders, whipped burrata salad, mac n cheese, calamari, and carnivore flatbread. Everything was really good!! Brussels are a must forsure and we really liked the Mac n cheese, but it is heavy so it's good for sharing. The only thing that underwhelmed us were the wagyu sliders, they just tasted like normal sliders and were pretty basic. Overall, we had a great time and enjoyed our dinner!

Anchal B.

Yelp
Came here to celebrate my birthday with some friends and it was amazing! The service was great, they occasionally checked up on us to make sure we were liking everything. We ordered the mac n cheese, truffle fries, prosciutto and brie flatbread, and steak. The food was incredible, we left no crumbs behind. It's a nice, classy restaurant in the middle of Downtown Long Beach and we enjoyed our time there! Would definitely come back for special occasions.

Justine A.

Yelp
Beautiful restaurant, great service and great food! We had reservations but got there early so our group went to the upstairs bar for a bit to hangout until our table was ready. All the staff were very friendly. The food was delicious. Those Brussels sprouts are famous for a reason! So so good.

Victor M.

Yelp
Unbeknowst to me, Bo-Beau has been open in the downtown Long Beach's Pine Avenue district for over a decade. This was my first time dining at Bo-Beau and I was impressed. The ambiance in the main dining room is a pleasant Bohemian chic with an industrial gastropub elegance. The open kitchen faces the dining room. They also have a popular rooftop bar upstairs with a street view. The menu is California comfort food with global influences. We started with their famous brussel sprouts which were excellent. I don't really care for brussel sprouts, but adding house-cured pancetta, parmesan cheese, and balsamic glaze is genius to make it a tasty starter. We also had the baked brie which was very good as well. The brie is served with strawberry compote, basil and honey. One of their most popular dish is the short rib bourguignon. The short ribs were extremely tender served in a delicious au jus. The boiled baby potatoes that came with the dish was not a great side for it. To finish the meal, we had the gateaux chocolat which was very moist and easily satisfied my sweet tooth. Portions were fairly healthy in size but were also reflected by their menu pricing. They have a great specialty cocktail menu. I had the C'est La Vie vodka concoction which was reported to be not very sweet. It was very good, but their pours were weak with very short fills at barely 2/3 of the high ball glass. Cocktails and wine by the glass ranged about $16-22 each. Service was good. Food came out a bit fast even though we were not rushed to give up the table. Parking is a challenge. If you are lucky, you can look for parking in the streets. I parked in Lot C on 3rd Street which is about 2 blocks from Bo-Beau. This lot gives you 2 hours free and $2.00 per 1/2 hour thereafter. Otherwise, there were a lot of other lots that charged as much as $20 flat evening rate. Once parking is found, Bo-Beau is certainly worth your dining dollars.

Yelp
Every New Years Eve my wife and I have a tradition, we try a new restaurant to start off New Years Eve. This year we decided on Bo-Beaus, we both agree we made an excellent choice. They offered a 3 course dinner. Lots of great choices. All were intriguing but we had to settle for 2 So upon arrival, we were early so we waited outside for maybe 10 minutes. Once the doors opened, it was breathtaking, the lights, the decor, everything looked to elegant. The hostess, smiled and gave us a warm greeting, sat us immediately. Had a nice booth near the fireplace, it was all very romantic. Our waited Hugo was so sweet, so welcoming and had a great personaility. He answered all our questions regarding all the featured foods for the evening. And he made them sound so appetizing, how could we decide LOL. We ended up deciding on one each of the starters, Roasted Brussell Sprouts Salad and the Baked Brie, both were amazing. The flavors, OMG is all i can say. My only.complaint was with the Brie I ran out of bread but it was so.good I spooned out the remaining and enjoyed it. I know, not very classy but it was that good. The entrees we chose the Chicken Milanese which I've never had before and let me tell you it was so tender, the breading was tasty and it was delicious. My wife had the Halibut, I can't remember how it was prepared but it's all on the menu I posted, meaty and out of this world. The desserts, yes we tried them both. Had to have the best of both worlds right? My wife loves her some Affagoto and I loved the Berry Cream Tartlet. Hugo was so attentive and a real charmer. Headed us feel.as if we were his only customers, a real sweetheart. We truly hope he had a wonderful New Years Eve, he was the best. We want to return, so.many things on the menu to.try and the rooftop dining, well.we gotta try it out. Eating beneath the stars, romantic.... Thank you all for making our New Years Eve so special and for e delightful experience, we will be back Thank you Hugo for such wonderful service and Happy New Year

Anne G.

Yelp
We made reservations for a party of 2 on a Saturday, 5:30pm. The place was practically empty which was very nice for us. Hugo was our server and he was friendly and helpful. We felt the the service was good, but on the slower side considering how empty the place was. For us, it was perfect because we weren't in a rush but we could see how the service time would be an issue once the place got busier. We ordered 1 main and 3 appetizers between us. The chicken and mushroom risotto was delicious. We also liked the brie, wings, and brussel sprouts appetizers a lot. We each had 2 drinks each and took home a little bit of each dish that we couldn't finish. Everything was great until the very end of the experience when our waiter recommended we take our drinks we had left and go up to see the rooftop. I figured he needed the table and since I was also curious about upstairs, took his advice. I walked through the restaurant with my drink in hand, but was stopped by the guard in front of the stairs. We explained our server sent us over *hence my drink I already had* but he refused. He insisted we talk to the host, and the host also wouldn't let us up because he needed another host to man the front. So now I'm standing like a fool in front of people waiting for seats with an almost full drink with nowhere to go. The host kept telling us to wait but my hands were getting cold holding my drink and I was tired of standing for no reason. I chugged my drink and said 'forget it' and we left. The servers have no business telling people to leave their perfectly nice booth to go stand and wait up front like dummies. It was a crappy way to end such an otherwise nice experience!

Yelp
We stopped by on a Friday for a late 9pm dinner and drinks. We had a reservation but it didn't seem necessary as the place was not very busy. We took the stairs to the 2nd floor and sat in the "rooftop patio" dining area where the crowd seemed to range from mid-20s to 30s. There were some bar-like seating spaces overlooking the main street for people or car watching. There were also picnic-like tables in the main dining area and more private high-top seating spaces off to the sides. The 1st floor dining area had much nicer decor with a more date night vibe. The bars on both floors looked big and nicely stocked. For food, we ordered the jalapeño macaroni and cheese, short rib bourguignon, and lamb & waggyu meatballs. The macNcheese was delectable! The meatballs were a bit dry, and the short ribs were just ok. Overall, I loved the look of the big open space with its dim lights, high ceilings, and arches. The presentation was nice and clean. And we had great attentive customer service. The restrooms were interesting with co-ed handwashing areas and private stalls (see pic). We did notice an elevator for those who can't use the stairs. As for parking, there's a lot next door, where you pay on the app per space or can also opt in for valet parking from the south side of the street.

Yelp
I hadn't been to Bo-beau Kitchen in some time, but it's even better than what I remember! The ambiance is great, the service was fantastic (especially when you factor in that it was later at night and they were busy). The drinks were solid and the food was sooo, sooo good that I actually forgot to take pictures of some of the dishes. Food: our personal favorites were the Truffle Mushroom Flatbread, which was very hearty and a lot more complex than your typical truffle/mushroom flatbread. The Honey Lavender Bread Pudding & Basque Cheesecake are also a must, literally amazing! Drinks: Both the Stormy Bastille & Rhubarb Paloma were great, but I really preferred the Rhubarb Paloma as it was tequila based and less sweet. Food: 5/5 Drinks: 5/5 Service: 5/5 Value: 4/5 Ambiance: 4/5 Overall: 4.5/5

Elizabeth P.

Yelp
Went here for a friend's birthday celebration and it did not disappoint. We tried many different things (check out my photos!) but my favs were the Burrata salad, baked Brie and rainbow balls! The cocktails were fantastic. My favorite is the C'est La Vie. Service was a bit slow though. We had to ask several times to order/etc.

Yelp
First time visitors Located next to cafe Sevilla Reservation or walk in available Street parking or parking structures for options Full bar / social hour aka happy hour / lunch and dinner specials Decor is rustic / classy / modern / elegant Booths, tables, and bar sitting Open kitchen to see the action Server Savannah training Olive - both very nice check in on us left us to conversate - server assistant friendly and helpful in conducting refills. Standard service wasn't anything over the top. Order side of Mac n cheese - white cheddar elbow pasta with cheddar to top it off - nothing spectacular as it was serve hot and had the cheese pull but could of used pepper or another seasoning to make it pop bouillabaisse - seafood stew served with 2 triangle points - had 4 pieces of mussels and 2 shrimps, 2 or 3 cube fish, and few calamari garnished with raw fennel shavings that didn't add flavor to the dish. The broth was flavorful and bread to sop it up was tasty, however the bread and broth were served room temperature. The quantity of seafood served was not worth $35. A red velvet cupcake and candle was provided to celebrate birthday. Cute and unexpected gesture. Good music vibes but can get loud and a roof top area is there but didn't get to explore. Will potentially come back maybe just for the bar and social hour as the cost and quality of main entrees didn't really meet expectations. Also please note there is a 5% surcharge that is added to help with increasing cost.

Yelp
BO-beau is located in downtown Long Beach on a very busy street. We made reservations beforehand for a party of four and were seated when we arrived. The bottom floor was more intimate and dim while the top floor was more social and lively. BO-BEAU'S FAMOUS BRUSSELS SPROUTS ($17.50) - these were crispy on the outside and had a tender bite. It was slightly sweet from the balsamic glaze and I saw a lot of people ordering this. 4/5 LOADED BULGOGI FRIES ($18.95) - you can't really go wrong with fries with bulgogi and sauce. It also came with caramelized onions and kimchi so it was very much Korean-inspired. 4.5/5 BRAISED BONE-IN SHORT RIB ($39.95) - the short ribs were tender and could be broken apart with a fork. However, it could've used more seasoning and the portions were terribly small. There were only two ribs which was not worth the $20/rib price. 2.5/5 DUCK PAPPARDELLE ($28.95) - I liked the homemade pasta and the sauce was really good. 4/5 For drinks I ordered the passion fruit whiskey sour ($15) which was really good and easy to drink. The vibes are pretty good here depending on what you're looking for and you can walk around the area after.

Yelp
Brussels sprouts was a (20/10), best I've ever had. Duck pappardelle was very delicious with a strong mushroom flavor (8.5/10). The black and bleu burger was great as well (9/10). Lastly we had the short rib, personally I'm not the biggest fan of meat so it's a (6-7/10), but my stepdad liked it so it's more of an (8/10). The service was excellent. We were greeted and sat within a couple minutes on a Friday night at 8:30 pm. Our server recommended the Brussels sprouts with the huge portion that did not disappoint. I'm going to be thinking about this dish every-time I eat Brussel sprouts from now on. Nice place to dine in, but beware of parking (very difficult to find).

Yelp
The food. AMAZING. The drinks. AMAZING. The service. AMAZING. Came here just looking for a chill happy hour vibe by myself and accidentally found my fav spot. The drinks came fast and my waiter, named Neil, even said he'd time my last drink order to line up before happy hour ends. Such a real one. Also the happy hour special is awesome! Wed-Fri 5-6:30pm, sat & sun 2-5pm $10 apps $10 drinks!! I got the wild mushroom & burrata tartine which is pictured.

Yelp
BO-beau kitchen + roof tap is gastropub kitchen restaurant with a formal dining space & rooftop patio. Interior decor and fixtures were modern with a French style. Atmosphere was vibrant and engaging. Perfect date spot or birthday celebration. However, their background music was a lil bit loud for a common conversation. They have good food and drink items on their menu. We ordered Pan Seared Chicken Breast (wild mushroom risotto, mascarpone, truffle oil, chicken cracklings (gf)) and Prosciutto & Brie. Food was good. Drinks were fine. Service was on point. Staff were obsequious and amiable. Furthermore, their second floor has an open rooftop and a bar while the first floor is the main dine-in area. Reservation is highly recommended given the popularity of this restaurant. Overall, I recommend this restaurant.

Yelp
Located on Pine Ave. & Broadway, next to Sevilla. There's street parking, but it can be challenging to find a spot during peak hours. We parked about 1 block away in the 'Landmark Square Parking Lot' using the Pine Ave/1st St. entrance and paid $15.50 for 4.5hrs.

Yelp
Great place to eat! The food is amazing and the place looks clean and tidy. Definitely recommend this place

Yelp
The vibe is great here, especially upstairs with the open view of Long Beach. You are starring out into another building though. We came on a weekday so there was plenty of street parking. I enjoyed everything we order. Loved the flat bread. The bread pudding was special with the rhubarb and pistachios. Delicious. Great service as well- everyone is really friendly and attentive.

Yelp
We were on the rooftop since the inside was filled from reservations. Simple but nice view up there. Heated as well for colder nights. The Brussels sprouts were really tasty. Balance between acidic but also sweet. Probably the best I've ever had. The burger was okay though, a little disappointed as the bun was kind of hard and overall was lacking. There are a lot of other dinner entrees on the menu that sounded good so maybe need to give those a try. Good beer list and full bar. Service was really good.

Yelp
We tried the Dine Out Long Beach menu last Friday, nice decor Ordered the Burrata Salad and French Onion Soup For our main course Grilled Salmon ( great, crispy skin and cooked correctly) Mushroom Risotto is great as well, ( creamy ) Steak Frites also good , steak are cooked to our liking And for the kill , Rhubard Bread Pudding and Fried Cake Donuts both good as well Le Romantiue cocktail is great well The service is mediocre and flat, our server was wondering around the dining area , seems annoyed when we ask for the dine out menu as he has to print it out and not ready

Yelp
Yummy food and good experience. Service was good and the vibes were great! The Brussel sprouts were amazing as they were recommended!

Yelp
The Brie appetizer is to die for!! We also got French onion soup and it was amazing as well.

Yelp
Came here for a birthday dinner and service was awesome! Server was on it with ensuring that we were taken care of. I ordered the Steak Frites and had a great taste but was a tad on the fatty side. I recommend trying this place out.

Yelp
This was my first time at Bo Beau Kitchen. We had our Holiday Mixer at this venue! We booked the dining room area. Let me say, it is gorgeous, amazing food, friendly service. Michelle the manager assisted every step of the way and was present that evening to make sure we had everything we needed! The appetizers and main dishes she suggested were all very tasty and delicious!

Yelp
Came here for a dinner party and food was amazing . Service was great as well everything we ate was delicious. We had the brouseel sprouts for appetizers and finished off with the Oreo donuts which were perfect . My main dish was the short ribs . Definitely coming back again

Yelp
Came here for a friends birthday dinner. While the place is cute , the food isn't that great. Our calamari was so chewy I had to spit it out. My steak entre had a sauce all over it that was way too salty. At least the company was good .

Yelp
This place definitely has the vibes, but for the most part is overpriced mediocre food with fairly slow service. I'd come back, but only for drinks and appetizers on the roof. The Brussels sprouts and Mac n cheese were really good. Everything else was just not worth the inflated price.

Yelp

Yelp
Food: - Buffalo Chicken Wings: 5/5. They tasted great! Perfectly cooked, sauced, and seasoned with a slight kick of spicy. - Mushroom Ravioli: 5/5. The ravioli was very flavorful and filling. It was delicious! - Garlic Creamer Potatoes: 4/5. They tasted good, but I wish the garlic flavor was stronger. I think the potatoes were slightly overcooked, causing them to be a little too soft for my liking on the inside. I also wish the potatoes were crispier. Service: - The staff was very friendly and attentive! Ambiance: - The interior design is beautiful. The restaurant has very nice ambiance and feels fancy.

Yelp
Bomb!!!! Everything was delicious! It's not really a rooftop. There's a bottom and second story. But the second story is covered mostly. The top is just a bar area with some seating. Here's what we ordered and my thoughts on each dish: Baked Brie 10/10 Sooooooo good! Cheesy and sweet with the strawberry compote! Perfect combination of salty and sweet on the bread. Charcuterie Board 7/10 Pretty basic. Your average charcuterie board. The ingredients were all fresh. But nothing wowed us here. Cajun Shrimp & Arugula Salad 7/10 A whole lot of arugula, and not enough flavor. The shrimp tasted good. And the avocado was fresh. I liked the strawberries as well. Needed more flavor overall though. Margarita pizza 9/10 Not bad! Good flavor. Decent amount of cheese. I liked the sauciness as well.

Yelp
This place was just FUN! Both Mrs G and I loved it. The atmosphere and the ambiance of the restaurant were really the BEST. The staff were wonderful, friendly, fun and attentive. We would certainly go again when we are next in the Long Beach area. Mrs G had the striped sea bass special while I had the steak frites with cognac sauce. Was my steak good? Yes - was it great No. was it a bit pricey for what I got yes I think so, but after a week of absurd prices in Las Vegas this was almost a bargain. Two thumbs up Review #68 2023 and review #997 ever!

Yelp
Planning on having dinner in the area so I yelped and found this place. Reservations was easy and location is right in Downtown Long Beach. I went with some family for an early dinner around 6pm. There was a lot of restaurants but this stood out. The ambiance is beautiful and there a bar upstairs. I had a child so I was not able to check the scene out. It wasn't as busy for a Friday, then again we had early dinner. By the time we were done more people were being seated and some were waiting. We ordered a few items and shared. Below are the photos and we all agree that everything was pretty good. No complaints. Service was great as well.

Yelp
First time here in several years. Was disappointed to see they didn't have board games anymore ( the main reason we came) but oh well things change. Decided to have some dinner, ordered the steak frites. Was SEVERELY disappointed. The sauce had ZERO flavor. Had to get some salt on the side just to have some seasoning. For a dish that costs close to $50 I would expect some flavor but it bad none. Sadly my visit tonight showed me that this was the last time I'd ever come Seriously don't waste your money. Couldn't even get a water refill here.

Yelp
Daniel was amazing! Great attitude, friendly, so attentive and caring. He made sure we're so comfortable and warm, kept checking on us. A fantastic waiter like Daniel makes a great meal even better! Thank you Daniel!

Yelp
The food is good it's cute location a little pricey but a nice choice we stopped here I'm not from the area but it looked really cute just be careful because there are a lot of homeless right around the front at least when we went

Yelp
Came here for a happy hour. The rooftop is a cool vibe and the weather was great. Drinks were reasonably priced. The happy hour food options seemed like a good selection, but the serving sizes were very small, making them overpriced. May be more worth visiting this place for a full meal. Waiter was very friendly.

Yelp
Amazing service, incredible food! The restaurant itself is so beautiful. We had a wonderful waiter who was very attentive. My husband and I celebrated our anniversary here and they were kind enough to treat us to a glass of champagne. The food is amazing. The short rib was to die for, so much flavor and the meat itself was falling apart with just a fork. Didn't really even need my knife. Amazed at the quality. The Duck Pappardelle was delicious! The pasta was perfectly cooked and tasted homemade. The sauce was perfectly acidic with a touch of sweetness from the duck. Incredible. Something that really stood out to me was the attentive staff they have. Not only is your waiter/waitress attentive but they have other staff members walking and scanning the restaurant for plates to pick up and waters to be refilled. Not a thing goes unnoticed. The only down side was that their roof top was currently closed due to renovations and nowhere on their website did it say that. It would just be nice to know when we were looking forward to that part of the restaurant. Not a deal breaker for me though when food and service is so great. Definitely will be visiting again!

Yelp
What a cool place. Nice ambiance, decor and friendly great service. We sat on the rooftop. Very spacious. Good energy and music. Great drinks and the apps and entrees were delectable and mouthwatering. Nothing disappointing. Glad we decided to stop and eat here. I would definitely return.
