Bò Né House And More - Review - International District - Seattle - The Infatuation

"Like the name suggests, this new CIDVietnameserestaurant does, in fact, have bò né, which they serve in a cow-shaped skillet. The “more” means fresh rolls and vermicelli bowls alongside the likes of chicken nuggets and macaroni with beef." - Kayla Sager-Riley

This is a hidden gem. The service is amazing. The whole family is helping each other and they greeted us so warmly. They even gave some warm tea to my mom because it was cold that day. The Bo Ne is amazing and flavorful, the baguette is super light and crispy. The pate there is so soft and flavorful as well. We also got the Crispy Pho (pho ap chao) and the crispy rice cake (bot chien) and they’re really good. They reminds me so much of the street food that I have in Vietnam. We also go some banh mi to go and really recommend their special banh mi and banh mi with the beef in betel leaf (bo la lot) if you’re not allergic to peanut. Definitely I will come back again. The price is pretty good compared to other food place in Seattle. Parking can be tight but it’s free for the first 2 hours.

Parking here is a bit limited, but it’s free for 2 hours once you scan the QR code and enter your license plate number — a small detail worth knowing before you go. When we walked inside, I was surprised by how spacious it was. There’s plenty of seating, and the atmosphere feels lively yet comfortable. We came on a weekend for brunch, and it was heartwarming to see so many big families enjoying their meals together. What stood out most to me was that it’s a true family-run restaurant — you can see the whole family working together, greeting customers, serving food, cooking in the back. There’s something really uplifting about watching everyone pitch in and support one another. As for the food, prices are fair, especially with how everything’s been going up lately. The sizzling beef came out hot and tender, though it was a little on the bland side for my taste. But the “Hủ tiếu hải sản” (seafood noodle soup) absolutely won me over — the broth was flavorful and comforting. I also love that they offer vegan options, which makes it a great spot for mixed groups. Overall, Bò Né House and More feels like a place made for family and friends — warm, welcoming, and full of care. If you’re in the area, I highly recommend stopping by to enjoy a good meal while supporting a hardworking family business.

Google
Wonderful family-owned restaurant with attentive service and delicious food that arrived quickly. My picky parents had a great time and enjoyed all of the dishes. Parking was super easy (free for 2 hrs), and there’s also a large vegan menu.

Great place to eat. We tried Bo Ne, and the service was very attentive. The staff and the chef were super friendly. We went with a group of six and were given an extra order of spring rolls. The portions were big, and the extra fries were quite generous as well. The restaurant was clean, and a big plus was the restroom.

Google
Very tasty food! 😋 The bò né and bột chiên were excellent!! I also tried the hủ tiếu, it was fine, but clearly not their specialty. No wait, and the food came out quickly. Highly recommend especially on a cold day!

Google
If you go to a place called Bò Né House, then you have to get their signature dish. The bò né here is one of the best I’ve had - the meat is tender, the egg is perfectly runny and the bánh mì is crispy. I really enjoyed my meal and would definitely eat here again. Staff was friendly and attentive, and this place seems to be family-run, so support your local business.

Google
Very spacious restaurant, family owned, offers a warm and inviting atmosphere. The food arrived hot and fresh, with an authentic and delicious taste. I thoroughly enjoyed the vibe here and would definitely return.

Google
Customer service was very family oriented and warm, makes sense cause it's family owned and all family working. Gave a very at home feeling. Food itself was great and very competitively priced. 10/10 value for 10/10 taste score.

Yelp
The best food and customer service ever. Love this place! Thank you Bo Ne House team!

Yelp
Thanks, Chris & team for the exceptional service!!! We of course got Wagyu BO NE + MORE! Our more was the bot chien & the nuoc mam wings. My partner and I loved, loved, loved the food and they shared that they will be adding more items to the menu. It's Family Friendly - lots of kids got their their own Bo Ne with a side of fries! We're so glad Seattle finally has a space dedicated to Bo Ne - there are other places in Seattle that have it, but I'm a firm believer of doing justice to what is advertised, and they do it well!! Yes - it's on Jackson, but I wouldn't recommend it unless it's worth it, and it is! I will be back for the nui because I grew up loving that dish when my mom made it for me.

Yelp
My family and I have been wanting to try Bo Ne House and More for a few weeks since they opened, and we finally made it there yesterday. I ordered the Bo Ne Wagyu, Banh Bot Chien, and an avocado smoothie. The service was great, everyone was friendly and attentive, and they checked in often. Parking is also convenient with 2 hours free when you scan the code inside. As for the food, the Bo Ne was okay. I personally don't think it's worth $22, as the beef didn't really look or taste like wagyu, it was pretty thin, less than an inch thick. The pâté was just alright, but I did enjoy the sauce on the Bo Ne, which was flavorful and tied the dish together nicely. The plate came with a side salad with no dressing, which was a little odd since most places serve it with at least some kind of sauce or vinaigrette. The avocado smoothie was also bland, even after I asked for extra sweetness. Overall, I think this place is okay, but a bit overpriced for what you get. The service and presentation are nice, but the food itself didn't quite meet expectations.

Yelp
Bò Né House is in soft opening, and their specialty is Bò Né--a Vietnamese-style steak and egg dish often served sizzling hot with bread on the side. In Vietnam, it's classic street food, so the vibe here is more casual than fancy dining. The steak was tender, the eggs had a perfect crispy edge, and the bánh mì was crunchy and airy--just how it should be. I also tried the summer roll, which was fine but nothing standout compared to the bò né. The place itself is simple and decently clean (especially by Vietnamese restaurant standards), and while the service is a bit lacking during soft opening, the staff is friendly. Overall, I'd give it 4 out of 5 stars. I really hope that by their grand opening, they improve both the service and the cleanliness, because the food itself is already amazing.

Yelp
Wow! Amazing food and customer service. Very attentive and fast. Everything ordered was delicious. The Bo ne was the best I've had since Vietnam, Bo kho actually tastes like Bo kho- meat was also pretty tender, and bot chien has a nice crisp to them. Highly recommend this place!

Yelp
It's been a while since I visited, but when I went near their initial opening, my friends and I each got the sizzling beef egg and pate plate, but was told they were out of the regular steak so we opted for the wagyu for additional few dollars. I believe they now just offer the wagyu option. It came with fresh veggies on the side and a yummy crispy baguette. I think the beef was on the thinner end and slightly salty but it was still pretty good. They were super busy but had many tables so it's not that long of a wait either way. I'd like to come back and try some of their other menu items!

Yelp
I received a message from the establishment. They apologized but I think their apology was meant for someone else, since they mentioned providing a compliment plate of bot chien (fried rice cake). For certain, my husband and I did not receive anything complementary and we paid full price for all the items including a tip. If anything you all forgot half of our orders and we had to remind the server about it twice. We understand it was a soft opening but my goodness you are so far from ready to run a business like a business. We also saw how you gave special treatment to the Instagram guy vs the rest of the other customers, since there were other tables with service issues around our table as well.

Yelp
On a Saturday at 4pm, the restaurant had few people and I was seated right away. Plenty of booth seating with calming asian instrumental music playing. Super friendly staff! He told me he was the owner's brother. I felt so welcomed as soon as we walked in. He personally helped us walk through the steps of parking validation. You don't get too many personable restaurant experiences in Seattle so it was sweet being greeted by such friendly staff. Fresh coconut water - nutty, subtle sweet notes, cold and refreshing. Wings appetizer - got half garlic butter and half fish sauce. The garlic butter was sooo good but damn, they don't play about their butter!!! The garlic helped cut through the crazy butteriness and the wings were real nice and crispy. I preferred the fish sauce wings for their wider range of flavors - sweet, garlicky, umami, and slight hint of spice. Bo Kho Very flavorful, aromatic taste. Served with a generous side of Vietnamese baguette. I also ordered a side of noodles since it just came with the soup. I loved the broth itself! I was disappointed by the carrots and meat. The carrots still had a snap to them. It might be my preference but I do like well cooked, buttery soft carrots when I have them in stews/soups. The meat consisted mostly of tendon, which is my least favorite cut of meat :( I know some people like it though, just not my thing. The broth really saved the dish for me and I still enjoyed it, but it could have been better. Ultimately I would not order this dish again. Originally ordered Royal Lemongrass noodles but unfortunately they were sold out for the day! We opted for the sizzling beef wagyu instead. Bo Ne Sizzling Beef Wagyu Comes with wagyu on a cast iron skillet, still sizzling hot. On the skillet there was also a side of one fried egg, caramelized onions and dollop of pate. The dish also comes with a side of Vietnamese baguette, and some veggies including cucumbers, lettuce, and tomato slices. The wagyu was cooked medium rare and had a sweet, savory taste. The cast iron created some delicious crispy edges on the wagyu and it was sooooo tender. The bread is so soft, fluffy, and crispy (not the kind that scraped the roof of your mouth, thankfully.) Would order again!! With the friendly staff, affordable dishes, and convenient parking, I think it'd be worth coming again to try some other dishes.

Yelp
Item: Bò Kho (Beef Stew)+extra meat, 28$ through DoorDash Bò Kho is my go to hangover meal, so come Sunday I decided to order from this new restaurant that opened up. A risky move, since bad hangover meal can make or break your day. Luckily, this one came with flavorful broth, plenty of meat, fresh carrots/limes/beansprouts, and the softest baguette. Only complaint is that some of the beef chunks were a bit chewy, but I would 100% order again. 4.5/5

Yelp
Lots of potential, just needs work on both service and overall food quality. This is a newly opened restaurant at Little Saigon in Chinatown that took the place of a Vietnamese vegan cuisine place, not too far from The Boat, Pho Bac Sup Shop and Pho So 1. There's parking in the parking lot right outside the restaurant but it's paid... unless you know to validate it inside the restaurant according to some Yelpers. Otherwise, street parking along S Jackson St works too if you wanna be walking distance from here. Inside is a lot bigger than what you see outside: there's plenty of tables and booths that seat four or more. It'll get very noisy and a little stuffy inside especially when crowded like for this visit. Place does feel a little unsanitary with the tables and seats, and with the food too which I'll get to later. My friend and I came here on a Sunday evening around 5:30pm, and got seated fast though it did become a full house throughout our 1.5 hour visit. There are QR codes near the tables you can use to get the menu, and servers take your order after a little while. I'll start off by saying the food quality varied here: - My friend and I each got their bò né (sizzling beef, egg & pate), which came with wagyu beef (since they were out of regular beef), a fried egg, veggies (tomato, cucumber, romaine lettuce, julienned veggies) and a crispy baguette. There was a ton of sauce in mine and it almost covered every topping inside, while my friend's had much less sauce than mine. Quality of the meats could have been better too though it was very tender and the sauce marinated the meat well. I would prefer the bò né served at Xom in Cap Hill and Soufend in Beacon Hill for now. - Things got better when we got their bột chiên (crispy rice cakes). These are fried rice cakes cooked with eggs along with some sprinkled green onions on top. Neither of us have ever really seen anything like this before in any Vietnamese restaurant in Seattle, so we had to get this and it was delicious! Eggs and green onions already pair very well, but it gets better when you get a rice cake that's fried, crispy and appropriately flavored too. Add their provided soy sauce and sriracha or Chin-su sauces for best results. This dish is enough to share among a group of four or less. Things started getting rough when it came to service. Overall it was quite slow and we noticed a couple of things: - The biggest problem was when my friend found two pieces of hair in his bò né skillet the first time. Servers remade his dish, which took less than 15 minutes but while other orders of the same dish were being brought out. This did negatively affect his experience, though, and he felt the beef was also overcooked. - We had to flag down servers more than once to check whether our crispy rice cakes were coming, since we were actually both finished with our bò né already. Same went for asking for my friend's remade bò né. Good part is that the rice cakes came out piping hot. - My friend noticed that there were one or two tables near us that seemed to be waiting for their food - for nearly the whole 1.5 hours that we stayed there. They came in after us too, and only had drinks at their table. We noticed them looking back and forth at the servers quickly bringing out food for other patrons. - Servers overall seemed disorganized, bringing out mostly their bò né for tables and dishing out food quite slowly. People constantly kept coming in and filling tables since it was peak hours for dinnertime, so that didn't help too much either. I actually really loved the food here and want to try some of their other things regardless of the sporadically iffy service. They're still in their soft opening for a little over a month (since August 8), so I'll give them the benefit of the doubt and find another time to eat here again and retry their bò né, since that's what they're known for.

Yelp
This is hands down the best bo ne I've had in washington folks, even better than my favorite place in San Jose! The steak is so tender and cooked perfectly and the marinade is on point, the banh mi is the perfect balance of crispy and soft and the ultimate vessel for picking up all the meat juices and flavor from the sizzling platter! I also tried the bot chien, which I've never had before! crispy fried rice cakes does not do service to just how crispy and delectable these little things are! Crispy, crunchy, and savory but at the same light enough to where you might find yourself eating the whole plate by yourself without realizing it! The inside of the restaurant is spacious and looks perfect for big family outings but also serves as an awesome casual date night spot. Check this place out, I cant recommend it enough, maybe the best meal I've had all summer!

Yelp
First off, they do offer free 2 hour free parking validation. Which you don't know about until you walk into the restaurant after you already might have paid. We ordered Bo Ne and Pho Ap Chao. I noticed people that came in after us got their Bo Ne first. Mine finally came out but not the Pho Ap Chao. We waited over an hour and I reminded them twice and even said no I don't want it anymore. I had to update my parking time because it went over. Service is so bad and slow. I understand they just opened and maybe still soft opening but they need to give out food orders the order it came in. They were all over the place and need to fix their system or work. Crazy to fit in a Vietnamese restaurant that long for just two meals

Yelp
Had the chicken pho, bun Bo hue, and avocado smoothie . Meat from the bun Bo hue was unmatched - juicy and meaty! I find that the meat in other places for bun Bo hue like pho bac is thin and dry . Avocado smoothie was good. Give them time! They just started up . I like it so far

Yelp
Omg ! This is the best Bò Né I have ever had, The beef is very tender, the pate is very delicious, the sauce is very good. I will be back for sure .

Yelp
Honestly they had some of the best pho and nuoc mam chicken wings that I've ever had.. so good! I will definitely be coming back! I've been searching for good pho since I moved to Seattle and this is it!

Huy N.

Yelp
I went here with 5 others friends and ordered 5 disks: Pho Ga, Bun Bo Hue, Com Tam, Bo Ne and Bot Chien. Everything is fine but the "Bo ne" is the best I've ever had period. I'm always a big fan of the dish but this place still blew my mind.
google avatar

Yelp
Hands down the best Bò Né (sizzling steak) I've ever had! The meat was perfectly cooked, flavorful, and served sizzling hot--just the way it should be. The service was excellent, and the staff were very accommodating to everything we needed. I'll definitely be coming back again!

Yelp
They have provided very authentic Vietnamese food in entire of Washington State. I love Bo Ne Steak which is influenced from French cuisine, Pho noodles and Spice Beef Soup Noodles (Bun Bo Hue). Staffs are super friendly, very kind and high knowledgeable to serve customers best. They were asking how my food to make sure the food reach my liking, and if I need extra plate extra veggies. They take good care each customer. Also free parking 2 hours and need validation by scan the code at Diamond Parking lot on the corner of restaurant. The last time I came was Saturday noon when they were full but they served fast and very professional. I am strongly recommending everyone to try their food.

Yelp
Yummy Bo Ne! Authentic Vietnamese foods and great atmosphere. Can't wait to try more dishes, especially Bo Kho, and mi quang

Yelp
Great bò né . Must try !!! Great server also they did open early for us to come ^^. We would come back for sure

Mimi N.

Yelp
Amazing food and super friendly service. Everything we ordered was fresh and full of flavor, and the service is amazing. We had bo ne, Bo kho and bot chiên. Everything was fantastic. It's the kind of place you leave already planning your next visit.

Manka M. V.

Yelp
The food quality is very good and very well priced- parking is included as well!! It is very basic in terms of the decor and they are still working out the kinks of a new place. We actually did not try the bò né dish, which we went to do next time. But the soup we ordered as well as the grilled chicken plate were delicious. The fried rice not so much. I will definitely be going back!

Yelp
Restaurant looks okay, they did the best they could to renovate on a budget. We went in at around 1 pm on a Saturday. Seated right away, no one brought water or checked on us to see if we were ready to order. Someone finally took our order 20 minutes in and water was delivered after another 10 minutes. The food took another 30 minutes to arrive and they screwed up and forgot half the order. The food wasn't bad. They ran out of the regular beef for the Bo Ne, so we had to order Wagyu which was a few dollars more. The Bo Ne could've used a few more onions and a little more pate. The vietnamese coffee was actually decent. Parking was included.

J B.

Yelp
I tried this restaurant on a recommendation from a friend. I had heard others talking about it too. I have had food there several times now. I've had the butter garlic glazed wings, bahn mi, and pho. All were good, and there's more on the menu I want to try. I met the owner, Phat. He is so nice!!! The service is great, food is great, and it's a warm, inviting place. I always enjoy supporting local businesses over less personal corporate restaurants. If you like Vietnamese street food, you'll love Bó Né!

Emma C.

Yelp
went during their soft opening. very yummy bò né! staff very nice as well and checked up on us :)
