For The Love O.
Yelp
We read great reviews for Jennifer R and I decided to schedule a Father's Day grooming for my husband. He loved it so much he decided to go back, because she did a great job the first time. We then decided to try her out for the buddy cut for our son and she had missed areas in his head and my husband was disappointed, because his male friends pointed it out to him. Let me preface this by saying this appointment was rescheduled also, because she was apparently off that day, and they wanted us to be with another barber, when we schedule the appointment with her. We brushed the missed marks in the haircut and the rescheduling under the rug, because my son enjoyed going to her outside of any other barber that first time. We decided to schedule his back to school haircut and when we arrived they told us they texted us and rescheduled with another barber, because apparently she was sick. We didn't want to be with another barber because my son really took a liking to Jennifer as I mentioned before. When we arrived at the newly scheduled appointment she was not there when we arrived, she was 10 minutes late. When we walked back she proceeds to tell me that she is a manager of other locations and they have her schedule crazy that is why she missed the last appointment. I said, "oh they told me you were sick", she said "oh yeah well I was sick that time". Red flag, because now this sounds like a lie. When she was cutting my son's hair, I was there watching the entire time and he did great in my opinion being he is a 6 years old child. We left and when we got to the car, she immediately called and told me to bring my son back when he is older because he doesn't know how to sit still in the chair. She then said that she doesn't know if he was traumatized by another barber, because he acts scared. So how it goes from he can't sit still to being traumatized by another barber? He is 6. This is far from the truth and it was disheartening to hear. Of course he was shrugging his shoulders every now and then when she would spray or cut his hair but not too much where she couldn't finish nor did it interrupt the process. It took her 30 min to cut and wash his hair, which is a typically haircut time. We will not be going back even when he is older and we will not be referring people to this location let alone the franchise if she manages other locations. They should remove buddy cuts from the list of services if the barbers are not equipped professionally to deal with children that actually really liked them. Not to mention, it is too expensive to deal with the scheduling inconsistencies.
