It’s a small shop but they have seating outside . The food was actually quite good . I ordered the boardwalk fried cutlet sandwich on garlic bread so good . And a raisin bagel with cream cheese . The bagel was actually quite soft and huge perfect for sharing :)

We used to stop in here for bagels. We were already not going to be coming here much because they don’t serve bacon, egg, and cheese after 1:00 or so (at least the time I asked). But now they are using The Avengers to “take back the city” and if they’re going to use their right-leaning politics to try to sell bagels, I’m done. There’s a great shop up by Dunkin if anyone is looking.

If you are in rockaway, you need to stop by it totally worth it. Service, staff, waiting time and menu is great. I came twice before reviewing it. I travel for work and I am rating them based on other states. This place is as good as it gets. yeah they could give a little more essentials for the price, but this is NY. You budget to compete. Before you leave check your bag for ketchup, napkins etc. if not you will not be too happy. Def recommending this place to friends and family.

I am grateful to say I’ve officially found my rockaway beach bagel spot. Steps away from the ocean, and most importantly, nyc authentic and delicious. The real icing on the cake for me was they career whole wheat everything flat and everything flat bagels, a rare find, and they were f’in perfect. The ratio of seasoning to bagel crust coverage was the best of the best, true perfection. The cream cheese selection was on point. The humble no frills vibe and family that runs it were welcoming and wonderful. I am excited to return here many many many times over the years. I tried the other boardwalk adjacent options, and this is the place. If you find yourself at 95th st area thinking “where could we grab a bagel”, do yourself a favor and take the 10 minute walk or 2 minute drive over here up down the boardwalk south.

This should be a 5-star review hands down, because the folks here are as nice as can be and while the place is very popular to both locals and beach visitors, alike, the wait times are not that long. Well, for bagels, they are not. Every time I take the Rockaway ferry to Rockaway Beach, I stop here for a nice New York City Bagel, buttered, toasted with extra cream cheese. So, why the 3-star review? Because... THEY ARE SELFISH WITH THE CREAM CHEESE!!! Like, REAL Selfish. Dont take my word for it. Look at the pics! I ask for EXTRA cream cheese. Does that look like EXTRA cream cheese to you? I even offer to pay for extra. They are always so selfish with it, like its coming out of the cook's check or something. Very annoying! Its NYC, so don't expect them to be cheap. A small cup of grapes, an OJ and a bagel cost me like $15 or something ridiculous. It is what it is. What can you say? Last thing: In the morning and on the weekends, especially, it can get really busy and crowded, so bring all of your patience.

Everything is great about this iconic deli but them offering single use plastic bags policy give out in every order is worrisome! specially when they are the go to spot where Rockaway beach goers go to grab their food before steeping in the beach, is it that difficult to make the switch to paper bags and paper containers for a business that has the experience of been here for 40 years?PLEASE BRING A MORE POSITIVE IMPACT TO THE BEACH ENVIRONMENT THAT IS YOUR BREAD AND BUTTER. And customers like me, PLEASE REFUSE THM AND USE OTHER WAYS FOR CARRYING Thank you #refuseplasticbags

Terrible customer service for a paying client , that bought 70$ worth of food . The lady that receives the orders was extremely rude and yelled at my wife for no reason , she was waiting for her order and was yelled to move aside. We always buy here every year when we visit the beach . We traveled from PA , will never come back to this establishment ever. Very unprofessional behavior. So disappointed.
