"Lobster and Crayfish Roll Look, we love ketchup, but mayonnaise has our hearts. That’s why our tasty senses were tingling when we saw that this lobster and crayfish roll comes with a generous dollop of rapeseed mayo. We’re happy to report that the mayo was slightly tangy and made us question our entire relationship with Hellmann’s. But it was the brioche roll that really stood out. It was buttery, like, the kind of buttery where you wonder if it’s secretly been bewitched by some kind of butter god that has access to some superior creamy level of existence. The lobster was soft, salty, and balanced with a great squeeze of lemon. All together, a masterpiece." - heidi lauth beasley, jake missing

Their Lobster crayfish roll was extremely yummy!!! I have enjoyed every single bite of it😋 The restaurant is very clean and they have a very nice menu. The staff were very friendly and so much helpful. We had Mac and Cheese lobster and french fries and everything was extremely delicious. The service was quick too and I would definitely recommend this place for a friend.

I had high hopes for this place, but unfortunately, my experience was a bit underwhelming. First, let's talk about the lobster roll. Although it tasted good, I was disappointed with the size of the portion. For a hefty price of 25GBP, I expected a more substantial meal. It felt more like a snack than a satisfying dish. Next, I tried the full lobster, which was mediocre at best. While the lobster meat itself was decent, the dish lacked any real flavor or seasoning. It was quite bland and did not leave a lasting impression. Finally, I have to mention the size of the full lobster. I expected it to be larger, especially for the price point of 50GBP. Unfortunately, it was disappointingly small and left me feeling unsatisfied. Overall, while the place had its moments, it failed to impress me. I would recommend trying the lobster roll for a quick snack, but I wouldn't recommend the full lobster unless you're willing to pay a premium price for a subpar dish. Key points to take away from this review would be the disappointment with the size and mediocre taste of the full lobster, as well as the small portion size and high price of the lobster roll.

American diner style fast food, but exceptional quality. I wasn’t sure what to expect but loved everything we had. It was fun to share the dishes to try more. Fried oysters were huge and delicious, lobster brioche roll soft and packed full of flavour. Shrimp and grits had great flavour - could do with the heads and tail being removed in all that sauce though. The fries in chowder - you have to try! Seafood style poutine packed with mussels, yes!

Bob’s Lobster has opened its first seafood restaurant in London Bridge, just opposite Vinegar Yard. It’s got that classy American diner feel, with deep red leather booths, tiles, marble bar top, exposed brick walls, hanging lights and spotlights. The service from the whole team was friendly, chatty and upbeat. They had plenty of recommendations for us too. What we really loved is that the owner and founder, Ralph, was on the restaurant floor chatting and serving and you could just see the passion radiate through everything he said. He was very excited about Bob’s Lobster, how far it had come, and even showed us a video of one of the street food vans being lifted by a crane onto a raised platform by the sea, ahead of a festival! He had so much pride in the whole menu and experience. The food menu is all about sharing and trying different dishes with friends and family. When Ralph came over to chat to us, he told us how the food at Bob’s Lobster is all about the experience and adventure which we think is great! As such, the menu itself features bar snacks, a large number of tapas-style sharing plates, a handful of larger mains, and several salads and sandwiches. Whilst the focus is mainly centred around lobster and seafood, there are veggie and vegan options, as well as the odd meat choice too. As it was Oyster Hour, we had to try the oysters. The fresh oysters (£3 each) were really meaty. Shucking and knocking them back with a little Tabasco they were salty and pretty tasty. However, it was all about the fried oysters with a thick breaded coating. They had that fishy taste, which reminded us a bit of scampi. They were delicious and different to fresh oysters in a good way! We then started with a few small sharing plates. First up, the cauliflower steak (£5). Pan-fried with spring onion, agave, ginger and lime salsa, it was delicious both in texture and taste. It is a tasty veggie option, with plenty of spring onion. We also tried the Tuna Taco with sachimi tuna, wasabi guacamole, chipotle crema and sesame seeds in a crispy wonton shell. The tacos usually come in a 3 (£9) but we were dying to try a bit of everything so they let us have one. The tuna was tender and so tasty and the wasabi had a creamy taste, beautifully complimenting the flavours. The wonton shell was super crispy and stayed that way. It was light but added a beautiful crunch. We t had the larger plates all at once, although these can arrive as and when they are ready in true tapas style. The Lobster Tail (£22) roasted in vanilla white wine butter and herbs was so fresh, succulent and tasty. It easily came away from the shell too, which is a dream when eating lobster. The white wine butter sauce was plentiful, and great for dipping in the fries! With lobster being the star of the show, we had to try it and are so pleased we did. This is a must-order! The Lobster Mac ‘n’ Cheese (£16) completed our spread. With a 3 cheese lobster bisque bechamel and lobster tail meat, topped with fried shallots, it was was oozy, stringy, and really creamy with more melted cheese on top. It had a pretty good amount of lobster too. It was rich, but not overpowering for the lobster. A great mac and cheese dish for sure. We had a great evening at Bob’s Lobster seafood restaurant in London Bridge. The food was amazing, the drinks were all great, and the service was absolutely fantastic. It is an awesome chilled diner spot near London Bridge, and they are constantly looking to create new things for the menu too, so keep an eye out for new additions.

I love lobster! So this is the perfect spot. Food was lush, cocktails really good and staff friendly. Their lobster mac and cheese is to die for. Not dogfriendly so we sat oitside.

OMG this place is incredible! Went for lunch there with a friend. The margarita is one of the best I've ever had anywhere. Rob the owner is a super nice guy, be sure to say hi if you see him there. The space is well set out, great background music, friendly staff. Good for lunch or dinner.

Enjoyable meal here on the weekend A few observations For a wine bar the wine list seemed short but decent and we'll priced Saturday night is presumably not their busy night as it was quite quiet. However very enjoyable "dirty" meal here. Not one for the diet. Highlights were the crab stack, tuna tacos and the lobster crayfish roll. Crab stack in particular was a standout. Mushroom and the white bait wrre fine Lobster Mac and cheese was disappointing. Too creamy, not enough cheese. Should have had the lobster roll. Service was very good I would love to be here, hungover, for a Saturday lunch next time.

Ordered via ubereats and perhaps it was the delivery but the fries with mussel chowder priced at £9 was atrocious with 2 pieces of mussels and soggy fries. Could have been packed separately instead of pouring a sad amount of chowder over the fries. Also found a 0.5cm shell in the lobster and crayfish roll. 3 stars for the taste as it tasted fine, although portion was small.
