Bocado: Un Petit Bistro - Review - Pleasanton - San Francisco - The Infatuation

"This spot delivers a substantial list of crepes in a bright, airy space that feels like you’re having brunch in a tropical greenhouse. The savory options stand above the rest–channel Thanksgiving with the home crepe, filled with turkey, spinach, and cranberry sauce, or go for something with a bit more bite like the red curry and chicken thai crepe. For a sweet option, the nocciola, layered with Nutella and choice of fresh fruit (strawberries are a must) should take priority. You could, of course, take your crepe to go, but we like to stick around and admire the many paintings of plants and trick ourselves into believing we're in a nursery." - Gabi Moskowitz

Few of us girls met on a Sunday for brunch here. Quite a cute place in downtown Pleasanton. Parking can be tricky, so be ready to park nearby and walk. Weekends are busy here and we waited sometime to be seated. Outside there are seating, but it's way too cold. But the food the serve is amazing. Every thing we ordered is delicious. The panini sandwich is the softest I tried here. I hated the panini( jaw wrenching feel) in Italy, lol. The buckwheat crepe was too good. All my friends and me liked it here. We had a great time, will be back❤️

Google
I discovered this spot after visiting a friend who lives in the area. I highly recommend! I ordered the ham, egg, and cheese croissant and it was priced great and delicious. I have tried both the sangria and mimosa flights, both very tasty with unique flavors. Looking forward to trying the crepes. Every time I'm in Pleasanton I will be stopping here

Google
Happy to have tried this bistro for brunch! The selection of food and drinks were interesting enough that we couldn't decide what to get! We landed on the Yorkish crepe (smoked salmon inside)and a prosciutto galette to eat then for drinks, we had the golden milk latte and the ube latte. The ube latte though did not have a strong ube taste to it even though still good. Definitely coming back here!

Enjoyed a birthday 🎉 🥳 lunch here. We enjoyed savory Crepes and chose our own fillings. One egg, cheddar and spinach and one turkey, cheddar and tomato. Both were gluten free and delicious. The side salad and fruit was fresh and good quality. The inside seating is very comfortable and there is plenty of free on street parking as well as a lot behind the building. Staff was very friendly.

Google
Relatively small place with a simple menu mostly composed of crepes and sandwiches. The food though is good, with good selection of interesting options. Staff is very friendly. And they have a dog friendly patio - which was very helpful for us. I had the Thai chicken crepe. Noticed there was also a chicken tinga crepe that looked good. I’d definitely go back.

Google
Four stars because I at least had few options being vegetarian(no meat, no fish,no egg) 😊 The classy sandwich is good. Caramel latte is a good option in coffee if you want something creamy n sweet. The owners were really nice, they also served us samples of lavender latte n lotus energy drinks . I hope they provide more menu items without egg n meat. It was a wonderful time spent in this bistro

Google
The owner is very friendly. The service is great! Sometimes when they get really busy, there can be a wait, but it’s WELL worth it! The food is freshly made and very good! I’ve had the veggie crepe, Olympus crepe, & berry crepe, all very delicious. I LOVE the mimosa flight! Share it or be prepared to NOT drive after 😁.

Yelp
I went to have brunch with family here in the fall of', 24. And why am I coming back months later to write this review? Because I've been absolutely craving going back. Our experience was so great! The service was incredibly kind and informative of the many offering they serve. The establishment was clean, and the food came out quick. We tried several crêpes, both savory and dessert as well as copy, and everything was absolutely perfect. I think, as far as sweet crêpes, go people expect them to be pretty sweet, and although these look extravagant, they also taste very well balanced, and yes, not too sweet, so it's not cloying.) Coffees we tried were also great! You can tell they dial in their coffee (important for espresso drinkers) Overall, great place to go, especially on a farmers market day, where you can have some great food and conversation, and then have a nice walk outside at the market.

Yelp
I prefer this more than Le Palais Sucré. I have beem to both a few times already. First came here for a Yelp Elite event and fell in love! This place the crepe is thinner. Service was attentive and fast. Ambiance was nicely decorated. A small cozy store. Seated comfortably and will come again. Parking was easy, just on the street right outside.

Yelp
For a smaller priv non-corp.or ugly repeat.Franchise, this AMAZING LIYTLE BISTRO HIDDEN GEM, Around the corner er from the beaten path, from busy Main Street ISA, has amazing 4 Barrel coffee -decaf isn't SO Smoothly prepared by 4Narrel.trained roasters Barista program I found out! They should open.up earlier just for that coffee! AND pineapple guava TEA!!! These people do it right, when's the last time you had a FRESCO Crepe made ri g ht in front of you, yes, theynhave two machines. What an ART! How about a savory Thai chicken Crepe?? Now for the sweet with berries or the Bocado not petit Crepe, ask the daytime Chef (CIA) for it! Specials added and my 14th trip back they got alcohol in for those 3x types of Belinis! Sunday Brunch here we are! Saturdays they have an omelet station just like a hotel brunch! Oml, where do I , we start, how about homemade chia pudding ? There's more to that than meets the eye, fresh berries compote topping w whip. Inside your on an Island ...somewhere tropical, look up towards the skylights and chandeliers! Oey vais, let's go! Closed Mondays, i have to go elsewhere for 4barrel on Mon Mornings, but that's okay TU-SU inside is a dream. Quaint bit comfortable Don't overlook downtown pleasanton after farmers market that I stale a oad off your feet and eat right, even mariscos too! I'll be back, so.e gov.of cali said terminating his contract years back, but I wont@

Yelp
We came here on a weekend evening and there was a good amount of people in the restaurant. When you get in, you order at the counter and the food is then brought to your table and your plates are also bussed when you are done. My partner ordered one of the specials which was a grilled cheese and tomato soup. I ordered a crepe I created myself with mozzarella, avocado, and some spinach. The tomato soup was delicious and very creamy. Highly recommend. My partner said the grilled cheese was basic. I also thought the crepe had a good batter, but that it could have been crispier and had a better texture. Also, the cheese wasn't melted and the spinach was still sort of cold. Not sure it was cooked as well as it could have been. But overall it was fine. I do also wish there were more vegetarian options. The service was very nice and there is plenty of indoor seating. There is also street parking.

Yelp
Running some errands in Pleasanton and decided I wasn't going to miss an opportunity to check out Bocado again! Came in on a Friday evening and was quickly greeted by Chef Diego. The first time I got to try Bocado: Un Petit Bistro, it was all in sample form for an event. While I was hoping to try something new this evening, I just couldn't bring myself to do it. The Bello Panini, Flor Ceviche and Estrella Crepe were SO good, that I had to get them again (in full sized orders this time)! The panini has a buttery crunch and the portobello is so perfectly seasoned, with the Serrano and avocado adding the perfect touch. The ceviche had a little more of a citrus/acidic punch this time (maybe a little more than I'd prefer), but it is easily one of my favorite things. It's a vegan ceviche in which cauliflower is used, and the first time I tried it I remember going in with minimal expectations, but it's a definite flavor bomb of goodness! The Estrella I ordered to go. Took me a little over an hour to get home, and she traveled perfectly. Perfect dessert to end the evening! It's a good thing I don't live in Pleasanton. I'd be here far too often! Cute little boutique style bistro with several delicious menu options. Don't pass up this not-so-hidden gem!

Yelp
Visited for lunch today. Ordered Thai Tofu curry crepe and my colleague ordered pesto tofu crepe. Both were unique as the name suggests and very good in taste. Personally, I wasn't a fan of Thai and French food fusion but the taste was really good - I'll give it to them for creativity. Black sesame latte was good but ask them to make it less sweet (quick tip). Service was quick and the seating inside was spacious.

Yelp
I absolutely adore bocado. I will definitely drive out of the way to get a delicious crepe from them. My favorite is the lemon and sugar and the Classico crepe . What I also really love is that they have many different types of Crepes and a large variety of menu items. I definitely enjoy all their fun beverages their coffees and iced lattes definitely have lots of caffeine but I especially enjoy their lavender latte and their dirty Rose latte in particular. The owner is super sweet and everyone that works there is a joy to talk to the service is just overall amazing. I hope someday that bocado does expand to the greater San Jose area. But I make sure to stop at bocado as often as I can if I'm in that area.

Yelp
I had an opportunity to return to enjoy a berry delight crepe. The crepe propelled me to food heaven! Love this place. Highly recommended!

Yelp
Second time I've ordered the Bello panini with side of fruit. Sooo good y'all. With a crepe suzette - perfect lunch portion

Yelp
We came during Friday for lunch and the place was cute and quiet, more of a coffee shop esthetics. Staff was super friendly, checked in on us several times to make sure the food was good. Ube latte - sweet Ube syrup pairs perfectly with espresso Croissant sandwich - crunchy and flaky croissant served warm with ham, egg and cheese Tiramisu crepe - thin crepe with generous amounts of tiramisu cream inside, delightful

Yelp
We came on a Thursday afternoon. Order 3 crepes , 1 panini and 2 drinks. Chicken pesto crepe- was good! It could be bigger for the price ($18) S'more crepe- good price but a bit too sweet , I guess that's what s'more is Tiramisu- it just has cream inside . Maybe if it has some soaked lady-finger inside, it would have more texture California Panini - it was soooo good! The sauce was yummy with everything else inside! High recommend it! Decaf Mocha - I was excited about Four barrel coffee but it was way too sweet for me!!! I couldn't finish. Ube latte - didn't know it was with coffee , the lady was nice enough to make it without coffee for my daughter. She liked it. But the one with coffee looks good too! Oh the side salad was very good too! Overall, the sweets are too sweet for us . Savory food was good! There wasn't too many servers there. Alot of times , no one was at the counter and they were all in the kitchen when we needed someone. Also, we just serves ourselves with getting utensils and napkins. I asked for 2 empty plates but didn't come until after we were done with our sandwich! I wish the service was more prompt. Looks like they need to hire more ppl. The atmosphere was ok. A bit more casual than I expected.

Yelp
We escaped the summer 104 deg heat at this cute little place off Main Street. I had been wanting to try this place for a while and our visit did not disappoint! Cozy bright eclectic interior with drink and food off menu "specials" adorning the counter. Griendly and attentive staff. The food was freshly prepared and was soooo good! Filipino ceviche, Kinilaw - exceptional dish with fresh tuna, coconut milk, vinegar and tropical aromatic spices that made the flavors pop! Beware of the spice level as this dish has some kick! Chicken Pesto Crepe - generously portioned and beautifully prepared with creamy pesto, chicken and cheese in a lovely crepe. It was delicious! Crepe Suzette - perfect light lunch choice on a hot hot summer day, did not disappoint! Chai Latte and Iced Tea - perfect choices for the 104+ deg heat of summer!

Yelp
Unfortunately, it was not a great experience... My salad had some rotten leaves of lettuce, and some of the cut up strawberries were old and starting to go off. I added chicken, and it was as if they took a Costco rotisserie chicken, shredded the mean, and then reheated it after adding a packet of McCormick's taco seasoning. It was OVERLY salty, and generally a very unappetizing addition to the salad. It was also very hot, temp-wise, as if they pulled it from a steam tray or microwave, which is also weird for the salads they offer. It might be nice to offer grilled chicken breast, which would go with any type of salad vs. a slightly spicy, very salty, and overly multi-herb/chili infused topping. My friend ordered one of the galettes and she ended up picking off all the semi-melted and un-melted cheese that she seemed to find inedible. I want to support local business owners, and I understand the impact of rising costs, etc., but I don't know if I will be back for any of the savory items. It's a shame because there are very few places, imo, that serve decent salads - which would be an opportunity for this business if they made a few easy changes. My husband has been here before and liked the sweet crepe he ordered, which is why I was willing to try this place. In addition, I stood at the register waiting to order for several minutes. The workers glanced at me quite a few times, but didn't acknowledge my presence. The lady working was busy making food, but the man didn't seem like he was doing anything important, and the look on his face made it seem like I was not welcome or that I as an imposition. When the woman was able to assist me, she was very pleasant, but it's clear she's just a worker and not a manager or owner. FYI - we were there midday during the week, and it was NOT busy inside. There was one other table of 3-4 people, who were already eating.

Yelp
I've been there a couple times to meet up for lunch with a friend and also my son during a weekday. Service is Swift and decent. There's a good amount of crepe and sandwich options. Ambiance is quaint and clean interior. The food is pretty standard and average with nothing spectacular. All in all a solid lunch spot.

Yesenia B.

Yelp
Delicious tiramisu crepes, Good service, good quality Best ambience . The lady works is the best ..

Yelp
Great place with a wonderful atmosphere and excellent service. They offer a wide range of gluten-free options, which really made my experience enjoyable. Highly recommend, and I'll definitely be back soon!

Yelp
Yummy! Their lox croissant was delicious. The coffee was fine; nothing too fancy or over the top but their food, for the price, was amazing. Would definitely go back.

Yelp
Small lil spot with Great food. Came here on a Thursday evening with friends and will be back for more. The server was very polite. She was able to customize my order to my liking.

Yelp
Such a cute little spot on Main Street. They have indoor and limited outdoor seating. The service was lovely, they were friendly and helpful. We got one sweet crepe, nocciola & one savory, Home. Both were excellent and very filling. We also tried the strawberry matcha iced latte which was not sweet at all so I liked it and the strawberry puree was made with fresh strawberries. The hot lavender latte was also tasty but may be a bit too lavender-y for some. The menu was extensive, so it was hard to pick what to try. I'll be back soon to try one of their many other options.

Yelp
I loved my first visit so much, I returned with my husband and 2 friends for brunch. It was their first time coming here but unfortunately the experience this time was different and made me feel a bit embarrassed that I brought them here. First, we came on a weekend and it was incredibly packed outside and inside. A table for 4 outside was not possible since it looked like the max is 3 outside. So inside it was. There was a soccer team of kids inside w/their parents who took up most of the tables and they weren't even eating. I know they are kids but were incredibly loud and rowdy for such a small indoor space. We were able to snag a table for 4 but in the worst spot. The sun was shining directly on my friend's face b/c of the skylight and she was getting hot. She's a patient person but it was too much. We shifted the table left and right and all the ways but still, we couldn't avoid the direct sunlight. We moved our table to another spot and it was better but then the manager (I think) immediately came over to us and in a rude tone told us that we couldn't do that b/c we were blocking the way apparently, even though there was room for people to pass. My friend and I responded that the sunlight from the skylight was hitting her directly in the face and that's why we moved. He said we still couldn't be there. Every table was taken up. We were moved back to the old spot, still my friend getting hit by the sun. Eventually he asked the large soccer group if they could consolidate their tables to free up some space and we moved to a better table. While waiting for our food, I observed the manager only b/c he was talking so loud to the workers that I had to look and see who was talking like that! He seemed upset and flustered w/them, and almost shouting, "what is this drink doing here?!!?" b/c there was some random drink on the counter. I think he was quite unprofessional in his tone and just seemed all over the place. Perhaps it could be b/c it was a busy weekend for them but still, there's ways to handle it and still be professional to your staff. The food was still good this time like the last. I have no complaints there, but obviously, the manager's tone was not what we were expecting. I will try to avoid this place on the weekends given how busy it is, especially if there's a soccer team take over. On my last visit, I came on a Friday for an early lunch w/my friend. It wasn't as busy and the ambiance was much more enjoyable.

Yelp
Yelp never steers me wrong! We were looking for a place to eat since I was in the Pleasanton area and saw this place had 5 stars and figured it was worth the visit. It's a cute little restaurant with indoor and outdoor seating. You order at the counter and they will bring you the food. For that kind of setup - I felt like their service was extra good. They came out more than once to check on us, make sure we had everything, and also take away dirty dishes. The food was great! I had the hamlet panini with the tomato soup. The owner told us they usually have two soup choices but ran out of the corn chowder earlier. He said they also do a zuppa toscana and my friend's eyes got big since that's her favorite soup. Don't skip the specials menu. I got the black sesame latte and it was delicious. I like too that you could get it with oat or almond milk! Also the sangria flight looked delicious.

Yelp
The service was outstanding and I had the best chicken salad on a croissant! Great atmosphere and comfortable when eating alone.

Yelp
We stumble across great places and things when we take good risks everyday. Love Bocado, a Hispanic-American made petite breakfast cafe off the main street away from busy sidewalks. Small place, but legit and decent for cafe lovers. Fast and efficient too. Excellent breakfast items available on the menu. No crowds and no lines on weekday mornings. It's so quiet inside that you can own the entire place to yourself. Order at front counter. Ladies staffing are friendly and nice. They bring your order to the table. Great tasting and delicious foods. Beautiful presentation on plate. Huge and generous portions of spinach, avocados, portobello mushrooms, and melted cheese in my Bello Panini. Absolutely amazing. Yes, huge chunks of it. Nice. The sandwich was dripping hot in temperature too. You can pick side fresh fruits or salad with it. I really enjoyed the bites into the Bello Panini Sandwich. They have toasts, croissants, breakfast crepes/galettes, cakes/cookies, etc. Want hot temperature foods? They have hot hot hot. Keeps you warm. Just don't get burned by the good sauces. Red Bell Pepper Soup in cup $4 was excellent in taste too. White Mocha 12 oz. cup good too. Less sweet in taste than most places. What a perfect place for a December cafe relaxation moment. Love it here. Highly recommended. Good experience. Toss your own trash and leave cups/plates/utensils on table. Clean place and organized. There are plenty of outside tables and seats if you want to hang around outside. Nice small spot.

Yelp
Unbelievably good food!! The ratings are extremely accurate. We got the hamlet panini, classica savory crepe, nocciola crepe, and the tomato soup & cheese panini. Lastly we ordered a gingerbread latte that was so so good, it was mouth watering delicious. The soup has been the best tomato soup I have ever had, it was so creamy and piping hot! The savory crepe came with a chipotle aoli that was delicious (a little on the spicy side), we ended up putting it on the hamlet panini because it was missing a little something. Nocciola crepe was amazing with nutella, bananas, and strawberries. Classica savory crepe was super good with pepperjack cheese. The service was even better than the food, the owner was there and he took our order, and made our food. He was such a nice guy! The place itself is this upscale modern little thing that has inside and outside dinning. They do a cute little flight of mimosas and the table next to us kept raving about the passion fruit one. You have to try this place, it's really yummy for brunch! They don't have many normal breakfast items so if you do go for breakfast don't be surprised.

Yelp
A quaint bistro with great music, nice indoor/outdoor seating. Delicious, quality ingredients in everything I have eaten here from the crepes to the panini's to the coffees - everything has been so good and unique! The staff is also very inviting and accommodating. Every time I go, it's a new amazing surprise. I live over an hour away, and its worth the trip just to eat here. It's now on my list of favorites!

Beverly W.

Yelp
Small and cozy. Staff very helpful explaining menu items. Food was fantastic - chicken pesto crepe and tomato red pepper bisque knocked my socks off. Thai crepe with chicken thoroughly enjoyed. Fruit taco pancakes so fun for my 7 year old. Great experience. Highly recommended.

Yelp
This place rocks on the ambiance and excellent service they provide to customers. I liked the atmosphere and comfort once we were seated. They also have outdoor seating. We came here for an early morning breakfast. Their menu has a lot of offerings for breakfast and also hot drinks. I had their tiramisu crepe and Caffe latte. The crepe is huge and tempting. It is so soft and you can taste the tiramisu inside. The caffe latte is delicious. We enjoyed our morning breakfast and hung around the place to enjoy our breakfast and coffee. The place is very comfortable. Even though the place is not big, it feels just right. I can't wait to come back here again and enjoy the rest of their breakfast menu.

Yelp
This cafe was such an awesome find on a Saturday afternoon. They have so many delectable food and drink options to choose from (crepes, paninis, sandwiches, breakfast dishes, coffee, wine, and more). They even have an egg scramble bar on weekends! We got two crepes, the Yorkish with smooth lox salmon, and create-your-own with ham, eggs, and mozarella, both made with quality ingredients and warm and fluffy goodness. Washed it down with an iced mocha and peach passion fruit sangria, delicious cold and refeshing beverages. The setting was clean, cute, and inviting, with both indoor and outdoor seating available. The staff was amazing, and service was just wonderful in every way. They checked on us frequently to make sure we had everything we needed. There's also a free parking lot in the back for convenience (entrance on Peters Avenue), a 3-hour limit, but that's more than sufficient.

Yelp
Loved their casual and pretty outdoor seating along with the chic indoor seating which is perfect for all weathers. Friendly service and clean premises are really inviting. The way it works is - you first order at the counter and they give u an order number. Then the server brings the order to your table when its ready. The cutlery and condiments are kept near the entrance and they do clean up your tables after u leave. In $47 (before tip) we got: - the bird - chicken pesto panini sandwich 5/5 it was yummy, mildly spiced and quite filling. Good quality meat and perfectly toasted bread! It comes with a choice of side - fruit bowl or green salad - tiramisu dessert crepe - 5/5 - loved the idea of using all the tiramisu ingredients in a crepe :) so good! Not too sweet and definitely lots of cream !! - coffee hot - 4/5 - caramel latte iced - 4/5 - too sweet for my liking - peach sangria - 3/5 nothing amazing. I wish they had the berry sangria or mango sangria instead Appreciate the kind service and friendly staff. Had a lovely evening :) thanks!

Yelp
I was a bit disappointed because of the expectation set by the high rating. The prices seem to be too high for the value. For example, a $15 salad plus $5.50 for the chicken add on seems overpriced. The plain croissant was okay. I had the lox croissant and had plenty of lox and priced well. The coffee was good. The service was friendly and decent. They do seem to have some inexperienced members. The ambiance is decent and clean with limited space. I was unaware that the restaurant did not offer table service. Overall, the place is average and the high ratings appear to come from overly generous customer reviews.

Yelp
Food is consistently super delicious and very well made. Always a great bite at this lovely restaurant in Pleasanton

Yelp
A really great experience at Bocado! I got a chicken panini and an iced vanilla latte with oat milk. Both were delicious, made fast, and filled me up! The inside is really cute but the tables fill up quick. The service is great and the employees are very friendly. I enjoyed my experience and hope to be back another time to try one of those enticing crêpes.

Yelp
A cute sit-down brunch place in Pleasanton downtown! We went on a brunch date last week and it was all packed:) Seemed to be a very popular spot! Ordered their crepe, croissant, and classic cheese sandwich! Everything looked very fresh, but their croissant was very sweet. We loved their classic cheese sandwich and would love to go back to eat that again! Small place, so try to pick a good day and time to enjoy their food!

Yelp
My hubby and I found this little germ place. We came here on a weekday morning, so not busy at all. The owner told us during weekends, and they're so busy. Their savory crepe & panini were flavorful and delicious. I tried the panini, and it was easy to bite. It was so crunchy to bite. This is the best panini I have ever! The decaf Mocha drink was really smooth and nice art! We like to come back here again.

Yelp
If I could give 0 stars, I would! Very rude Staff!!! When I walked in, there was a group of people in front of me. The restaurant was pretty empty at that time, with only 1 table occupied. The staff greeted the group in front of me and based on their interaction, it looked like they knew each other. They were talking and talking ..... while my friend and I were waiting to be seated. After around 3 minutes of waiting, I started to wave at the hostess to get her attention and she still ignored us. One of the person in the prior group started to notice that we were still waiting to be seated and let the hostess know and yet the staff still ignored us, as if we were invisible. After 5 minutes of standing there being ignored, we finally left the restaurant. This is absolutely ridiculous and I never expect that a restaurant can completely ignore the customer but this one did. Based on this situation, I can't help but to think that she was racist. If you are "Asian", do NOT even bother spending your money here.

The best Chicken Pesto panini of my life! I'm still dreaming about it, and the refreshing citrus side salad. Amazingly good and delicious. I never thought pesto could be so rich and full of flavor. You also made our own crepe because I don't like any added sweet toppings like Nutella or chocolate sauce. Fruit and powdered sugar are more than enough. The whipped cream was super fresh. This place is adorable. Quiet little cafe where you can meet up with a friend and then walk home after. The staff are very friendly and helpful. They pick up your plates and clean up after you. I can see people making friends with them with regular visits. I'll be back next time I'm in Pleasanton!

Yelp
My husband loves crepe so we decide to try this place. We ordered Thai crepe, Napa sandwich and tiramisu crepe and loved the Napa sandwich and tiramisu crepe the most. The flavor of Napa sandwich really stands out with a strong taste of the curry mixed with fresh sweetness and crunchiness of apple, celery and pecan. The texture of tiramisu crepe is very good. It's soft and chewy. The tiramisu filling is also well made. The thai crepe, comparing with the other two, is lacking a bit in the stands-out of the taste. It's good that the flavor is harmony all together, but not much excitement. Overall we like the place. Will definitely come again!!

Yelp
Great crepes - size, consistency, made fresh with fresh fruit and other ingredients. The egg scramble on Saturday and Sunday is made fresh with your choice of items. Friendly staff. Cute restaurant just off Main Street.

Yelp
This brunch spot has nice decor. The Thai crepe with chicken had flavorful curry with carrots and potatoes and came with a side salad. The Bird panini had good pesto flavor with a side of fruit. Black sesame latte was phenomenal and actually tasted like black sesame, topped with black sesame seeds. Gingerbread man latte came with a cute gingerbread cookie topped with red sprinkles. Overall the dishes had decent portions. The food was served quickly and the staff was friendly and came to check on us. If I'm in the area, I would come again to try other drinks and dishes!

Yelp
Came here because of the high Yelp average, and I wasn't disappointed at all! This is a very instagrammable place that also delivers on the food. FOOD: savory crepes were spectacular! I got a salmon, egg, and spinach crepe, and it tasted fresh. The coffee was also delicious. My only complaint is that it would be awesome to have a true galette (buckwheat) crepe, but I know it's hard to replicate a true crepe à la façon française. SERVICE: staff was friendly, tables were clean, high chairs are available for those with infants/toddlers. Service was quick too, even for a Saturday morning! AMBIANCE: colorful, modern, clean, and welcoming. Indoor and outdoor seating (with shade) are both available. Parking is plentiful in the lot steps away from the restaurant. Would definitely come back to this place!

Yelp
My boyfriend and I don't come out to Pleasanton often. We also do not write reviews, but we wanted to share this spot...reluctantly. Because we want it all to ourselves. :D. We are extremely picky with our food: the flavors, the textures, the effort put in; we take all of it into consideration when we go out to eat. We were out on an errand and decided to try this little place from the reviews. Diego makes his own whipped cream. That little thing says a lot. For something so simple that could be compensated by store bought cream, you can tell immediately that he puts his all into his creations. I also can guarantee that every bite shows his ability to demonstrate that he has a wonderful palate. The pesto chicken crepe: Not oily in the slightest. He made it into a slightly cream sauce and the chicken is superbly tender. We've had this 3 times now. We're trying to deviate. Limonata: The lemon tartness went wonderful with the house made cream and the egg flavor of the crepe. Kinilaw Cerviche: Weirdly enough, one of our favorites. Weird because it's a crepe place, but wildly delicious. Definitely coconut and refreshing Berry Delight: We ended up liking this even more than the limonata and we thought that was hard to beat. Prosciutto Galette: Not too salty. Very well balanced and if you like Prosciutto and arugula, go for it! Really good. Sorry for the lack of pictures as we dug in immediately and ate everything. I did leave one of the tiramisu! I'll leave that to your imagination. Espresso cream? I hope you will all get to enjoy the delight of coming here and the humble company of Diego. Thank you for giving us all these foodgasms and for keeping us going elsewhere.

Yelp
We stopped here for lunch and got ourselves a couple of crepes- chicken pesto and yorkish with smoked salmon. We also got their turkey sandwich. The chicken pesto crepe was amazing and worked really well with all the ingredients in it specially the flavor of pesto sauce. The sandwich was great and tasty and has become my son's favorite.. in-fact he ordered the same one for dinner next day. The yorkish crepe was ok and will skip it next time.

Yelp
3.5 stars rounded up to 4 stars. Casual and bright cafe with tasty crepes. The staff was friendly and they were handling out sample drinks(I think it was golden milk or latte). Home Crepe - consisted of turkey, spinach, cranberry sauce and cream cheese. The crepe had a thin nice texture. The favor combination was good. It'd have been better if they used real turkey meat instead to deli turkey meat. Tiramisu Crepe - light, creamy and rich, it was so decadent and yummy! It's a great choice if you want something fast, casual and light.

Yelp
Popped in here today to check it out, and it checks all of the boxes. Cute, clean, excellent service, not rushed, plenty of variety on the menu (paninis, soup, crepes that are sweet or savory, cocktails, speciality coffees, and seasonal offerings. I had a galette with seasoned vegetables, and a cup of tomato soup. My oh my the soup is phenomenal! It's creamy, not too salty, and way better that most of the tomato soup I've ordered in other restaurants. Sometimes it just tastes like marina sauce, or it's overpowered by basil and oregano. It was served in a mug, and I happily savored every sip. The galette was fresh, slightly sweet, and oh so satisfying with cheese at the bottom (almost as a tasty little reward for eating my veggies). I also had iced tea, it's made fresh. I requested black tea with a splash of the sweetened passion fruit. Again, top notch and better than the rest. My brunch date devoured her panini and didn't even offer me any. We chatted it up with who I suspect is the owner. It turns out he loves dogs just as much as we do. This place is just full of happy vibes, really great food and drinks, the wonderful friendly service is just the cherry on top.

Yelp
Swung by Sunday morning for a quick breakfast bite with the gf after finding it on yelp. It's a cute store located in downtown Pleasanton. It wasn't busy at all around 10am and there was plenty of street parking. We were definitely hungry after seeing the paninis on their yelp page. We ordered the hamlet panini and the bird panini. Both of which were really tasty and would definitely order again. Each dish comes with and option of fruit or salad. Overall, I'd come back if we were ever in the area to try their savory crepes. Easy 5/5!
