Bodega Delights

I visited the Bodega again. I did not know what a Bodega was until I visited Bodega Delights. Bodega Delights is a family run business with the inspiration from the New York bodegas. Justin and Evalyn started and run the business. Justin’s father owned a grocery store. I could see the passion for making people happy with great service and food. It is nice to see such a nice family run business be so successful. The food is incredible. I had the best chicken and chicken and cheese empanadas that I have ever had. The chicken was moist and very flavorful. The crispy empanada was a perfect combination for soft interior. Look at the photos. The chicken sandwiches and were large, tasty and delicious. The fresh ingredients along with the melted cheese, very moist flavorful chicken and crispy bread really did make a meal by itself. I tried the iced coffee and berry smoothie. The iced coffee hit the spot on a August hot day. The smoothie was thick and flavorful. Look at the photos to see what I am describing. I finished everything with a delectable Banana muffin. They can get your order done in 20 minutes and the location has easy parking. I really do recommend Bodega Delights for your next order. Your family will love it.

I’m a New Yorker so can verify that of all the places in LA that claim to have “New York bagels”, this is the real deal. Best bacon, egg, and cheese out here and at a fair price! Shout out to the owner, another fellow New Yorker 🙌

Getting this little slice of the East Coast has been amazing. The food here definitely makes me want to go visit NYC ASAP. Everything I had here I have loved. I've been here for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Sometimes all in the same day! I think my favorite things at the moment are the beef and cheese empanadas and the chimi. The staff here is incredible as well. They are always friendly and always happy to have a chat. I just wish this was an actual sit down restaurant! Hopefully it will be soon!

Service Justin is extremely genuine and friendly, and you can tell he cares about his customers feedback, his food creations, and his love for his business. Truly appreciate meeting you and for your hospitality. Parking There’s a few stalls in the front of the gate, but I just pulled up right to the front door and ran to grab my food. Definitely a cool experience going into ghost kitchen and seeing how other businesses operate. Food Really wanted to try the Handcrafted Dominican Empanadas but got the NYC Original Chopped Cheese Hero sandwich and a coconut drink. The sandwich was definitely filling and delicious! Ambience Aka it’s a ghost kitchen but overall everything was clean which is a great sign

The Service: Justin was taking my order. He was super patient to guide me through how to order online.... step by step!! Excellent customer service!! The Food: Everything was made to order. Love the Chimi (Dominican Burger) especially the sauce, totally open up my appetite. They sauteed the sliced onions, very flavorful. Definitely a big sandwich. Their cafe is strong, just the way I like my coffee! The Parking: Parking spaces right in front (free)

The empanadas here are delicious and the dragon fruit smoothie will hit the spot. I got the chicken empanadas and beef empanadas. The size of these empanadas are worth the price because it's a big size. I would recommend adding your own hot sauce or ask for some sauce if they have some. This is a ghost kitchen so don't expect like tables, outdoor patio or etc. The idea is that you come here to pick up your food and go eat it elsewhere. Finding the building should be easy because they have signs to tell you where to go. The staff are friendly and will make you feel welcome.

Randomly discovered through Easter and really glad I did. Reviews weren't wrong, everything was really good and the owner couldn't be a nicer guy. Really happy to support nice people making great food. I had one of each Empanada variety, it's pretty filling, the pastry dough is really good, as are the fillings. Also got to try the Raspberry and Coconut ice creams and the flan, all really good. I highly recommend this place, you'll be supporting an independent local business and a super nice guy. I definitely will be going back. Thank you again

Moved here from NYC & this food honestly felt like home. Couldn’t be happier knowing we have Dominican food in Noho. Also, the owner is the sweetest man and I hope this business continues to grow and prosper. Will definitely be back! We ordered the tres golpes & the morir soñando 10/10✨

We had tickets to the Lonny Chapman theater this afternoon and were seeking a meal with three main requirements: close to the theater, quick turnaround, and delicious flavors. Winner, winner, empanada dinner!! Around the corner from the venue, fast and friendly service, and amazing food. We ordered the 6 empanada deal (4 chicken and cheese, 1 beef and cheese, 1 chicken for us) and were so happy with our choices. The fillings are succulent and savory and the dough is thin and crispy. We also tried the smoothies. The green one did not taste green. It was divine and super healthy. My choice was the mango and it was a thick rich milk shake like experience which pleased me greatly. It is a ghost kitchen situation located in a very clean building with other food purveyors. There are 3 covered outdoor tables in the parking lot, which we used, but it's not a picturesque setting. However, that was not on my list of mandates. This is about fresh amazing food earning five stars. I know we'll go back and I look forward to trying other bodega delights from the menu.

High key...this is one of the most flavorful spots in LA!!! Everytime I eat here, it takes me back to my days of living in NY & has my taste buds poppin'. From the chopped cheese subs (NYC style) & pastelitos to the bowls & smoothies, everything here is so delicious & rich in flavor yet light & healthy. Slide by if you're in NoHo & treat yo self! FYI: It's a ghost kitchen so you can't dine in, but the chef/staff's energy is loudly positive & just as good as the food!

I love their empanadas. Perfectly fried with a flavorful filling. I actually wish they had more variety but I get it. Keep it simple and small. But if they ever added a carnitas empanada to the menu, I wouldn't be mad at them. The owner is friendly and deserves the business. If you can support this indie shop, you should. It's all to-go so don't think you can go and sit down but the food heats up really well in the air fryer if you have one. The oven would work as well.

Discovered this place through a Yelp Elite event and have been meaning to come back. The empanadas were delicious but decided to try the sandwiches this time. You have to place your orders online via the site or Yelp, cheaper through the site! I was buying groceries at Amazon Fresh and placed my order when I got there. Got the two chicken sandwiches - the chicken chimi and the chicken chop cheese and french fries. Both sandwiches were really good but I think I prefer my sandwich without cheese. Hopefully they can move out of this area - just a walk up to pick up your food - and into a full on restaurant soon! Will come back for more yummy food!

Had to pay Bodega Delights a visit again, and my gf and I are ALWAYS satisfied. The taste of the empanadas is unmatched, and the perfecttt snack or dinner any day! Customer service is always a 10 out of 10 with the owner, He is always polite and has great energy! He suggested we tried the Raspberry icy, and it was DELICIOUS, a perfect cold little treat! Always satisfied here and will be coming back!

Bodega Delights was decent overall. The chopped cheese was solid, but the chimi burger wasn't as impressive. The smoothie didn't quite hit the mark, especially for $9. Not bad, but not amazing either.

First time here. One building with multiple kitchen locations. Parking is a small inside, outside the gate, and several parking spaces. I ordered the empanadas. I had a beef and chicken. I preferred the beef since I thought it was full of flavor and tightly packed. I also had a tropical smoothie, which was done as I waited for my food to finish cooking. The smoothie was just right, drinkable, smooth, not watery but thick. The overall experience and being able to talk to Justin were amazing. He explained a little bit of New York. He also mentioned that he does local deliveries when ordering directly through bodegadelights.com. I will be returning.

This place is a ghost kitchen so bear in mind it's essentially a to-go option. You can play your order directly from their website from a choice of sandwiches, empanadas and various drinks - including smoothies. I had the beef empanada, chicken empanada and mango smoothie. Wife has the beef empanada and fries. We enjoyed all but the beef empanadas was the clear winner. I appreciate the ratio of dough to meat. Was really more won ton wrapper than the usual thick dough. We placed our order online, got a text when it was ready, parked outside the ghost kitchen and the directions were clear in where to go inside the building. Arrived at door K11 and the owner was there to provide us our order. He was very kind and grateful for our patronage. In addition to our food, he provided us a Thank you card with a promo code for a future order and a free coconut bite - which was delicious. All in all, a lovely place for some good food, good service and easy process.

When you drive up, you might be confused because they're located in an industrial part of NOHO, but the food makes it worth it to drive that way everytime. I got their chopped cheese sandwich with chicken and it was just like the ones I had in NY. The best part though is their drink: Morir Sonando. This drink has the perfect blend of citrus and cream--definitely a must try if you go.

Bodega Delights is so refreshing and comforting. We had a dragonfruit smoothie which was such a refreshing taste. It was not over powering in sweetness and had just the right amount of all its ingredients. The empanadas (beef and chicken/cheese) were remarkably light and savory. This take on the Dominican cuisine was so great. The bread had a great crispy and flake as well as the meat was seasoned to perfection. I will be returning for more orders. The Mangu and Iced café Con Leche look like number one sellers!! Thank you so much for the amazing food & I will see you soon!

Hands down the best!!! If you haven't tried it, you need too, you won't be disappointed at all! It's sad that right when I'm about to move back home to NY, I would've been a regular customer! The beef empanada was cooked to perfection. The ground beef was seasoned so damn well!!! All I had to do was wait 4-5 minutes to get it done because I ordered it right when I got there to pick up my Tres Golpes! I was speaking with the owner and it was good to speak to someone who's from my same country and hometown. It felt "home"! Really nice and humble man and I wish him and his wife the best of luck in their future endeavors! I'll probably be passing by again before I go back to NY!

Wow. This scratched an itch over the holidays. I lived in various neighborhoods in NYC where I could get Tres Golpes any morning. This food was top tier. The mangu was so soft and paired perfectly with the fried cheese and salami. Onions were pickled perfectly. Tostones crispy AF with a dope sauce. Morir sonando was perfectly balanced. This is pickup or delivery only but damn! On time and we smashed it in the car.

Oh my goodness- I've been thinking about going to New York to try the oh so famous New York Chopped cheese. Luckily, this Dominican-NY fusion restaurant satisfied my craving, and no need for traveling!! I ordered the chopped cheese and a morir soñando, which is a Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic staple and consists of orange juice, milk, a hint of vanilla and sweetener. It was so good, like an orange creamsicle. The chopped cheese was big- and the meat was toasted to perfection. The sauces gave it such a yummy touch and the veggies tasted fresh. The customer service was very attentive. I appreciated the fact that whilst translating to my mom, the owner spoke to her and was very descriptive. I will DEFINITELY come back, I need to try the shakes and bagels!

My first ghost kitchen experience and the eats were delicious. (Ghost kitchen is a restaurant with no dining space; great for pickup or delivery). I was introduced to this restaurant through an event, but returned to enjoy it with my husband. Who introduced this place to his coworkers who work in burbank and they got empanadas for their department lunch. We ordered online. The online ordering was directly with the restaurant, easy to use, and didn't add any fees. My favorites are their beef empanadas and papaya smoothie. Overall the empanadas are a crowd pleaser!

I had a green bowl from bodega delights today and it was very satisfying and refreshing in this 100 degree weather. Yum !

Absolutely amazing experience here! Everything is freshly prepared to order and the owners are so welcoming and friendly. The food is very flavorful and the cheese pulls are phenomenal. The drinks are also freshly made and extremely refreshing. I highly recommend anyone reading this review to try them out. If you have had them already, then go back and get more! My favorite is the Dominican salami bagel.

Wow. I swear the best spots can be found tucked away in these industrial buildings. This one is 2 min from my house and I love that for me because they WILL be my new go to. I had the chopped chicken sandwich and it was everything it needed to be. Fresh, warm, juicy, flavorful, and appropriate portions. Also, the softest bread I've had in a take out spot ever. Like potato rolls but better. I can't wait to try everything on their menu!

Stopped here for a couple of smoothies on our way to San Diego. I go the peach cobbler and my husband got a coffee smoothie of some sort. I didn't realize this was like a ghost/cloud kitchen situation, so I wasn't sure if I was allowed to go inside the gates or had to call to pick up my order or what. I went inside and the guy there was very friendly. He mentioned ordering through their website directly would be cheaper than using Yelp. Once our smoothies were done blending, I was on my way. I thought my smoothie was very good. Not overly sweet. Flavorful. And such a rare treat to find peach anything that doesn't have either mango or passion fruit mixed with it. My husband, on the other hand, did not like his smoothie at all and ended up tossing it. I tasted it and while it tasted it, it definitely tasted more like berries than any sort of coffee drink, so I can see why he was disappointed and not down. Overall, friendly employee and tasty peach smoothie, but maybe best to avoid anything coffee flavored?

Omg!!! So good We got 2 chop cheese, and 1 beef & cheese enpanada & chicken & cheese enpanada They were SOOOO good. Tastes delicious!! My compliments to the chef the best enpanadas i have tasted they were not oily and were seasoned to perfection!! Will be returning! cant wait to see you guys grow

We found this place while we were in North Hollywood desperately looking to find a healthy meal. They do take outs, and they do it very well; fast, efficient and delicious! We got their chicken sandwich and chicken empanadas. My co workers inhaled their empanadas before I could take a picture;) Everything was wrapped perfectly and they even kept the smoothie in the fridge till I arrived. If you are picky about crispy bread; I suggest do not let their sandwiches seat in the wrapping for too long, their delicious sauce will get the bread soft. Soft or crispy it's still tasty! You go through the orange door and turn left, they have so many signs to find them, and you will be glad they do because their food is definitely worth it.

My search for coffee spots in my city continues and today Yelp guided me here. It said online orders only so I ordered my coffee on Yelp and drove there to pick up. Not knowing what to expect since I never heard of this place I walked into a building that has a few commercial kitchens rented by business owners who sell food. The Yelp app said my order will be ready within 45 minutes which is unheard of for a cup of coffee. So I walked in to ask if it's possible to get my order earlier cause there is no way I can wait for that long. I was greeted with a smile and right away they said my order is ready and they are not sure why DoorDash says that. So I picked up my coffee and I got a nice surprise with my coffee. A delicious blueberry muffin. How nice of them. Now I know Bodega Delights sells empanadas that look amazing , açaí bowls, oatmeal bowls, bagels, muffins, sandwiches and more. Even smoothies. Check their website for the full menu and to place an order through them which will be faster and more affective. Loved the customer service here Can't wait to try their Empenadas. Just remember... it's pick up orders or delivery through DoorDash ...etc

Hello Fellow Yelpers! I visited Cali last week and stumbled upon this hidden gem! Bodega Delights has a little bit of everything you may need craving. FYI: it's currently an only delivery business (UberEats, door dash, postmate, grubhub) and you can pick up too. We had the oatmeal bowl, the bacon egg and cheese, and the berry smoothie but there are many options that will bring you savory joy. The oatmeal bowl was filing and satisfying; I felt satisfied all morning. I strongly recommend it if you're looking for hearty breakfast. It has slices of ripe banana, fresh blueberries, and succulent strawberries, then drizzled with a touch of agave for natural sweetness. We also had the bacon egg and cheese and the bacon was perfectly crispy. Every bite was life a little bit of heaven. The berry smoothie was made to perfection. It was just the right texture and flavorful. Next time I visit I will try the peach cobbler smoothie. The service was prompt and polite and they got my order correct, that alone is a big deal lol. I am giving this new up and coming spot 5 stars because they care about their customers and the quality of the food was top notch. When I am back in Cali, I will visit Bodega Delights!

Fantastic food and very nice and courteous owner! The restaurant is in an industrial kitchen "mall" and the restaurant is in K11. The smoothies are so delicious (try the peach cobbler... amazing!) and light but satisfying. The empanadas tasty, crisp and just heavenly. Get the sampler and get the cheese and the chicken. The beef is good too but the cheese and chicken ones are amazing. So glad that there is a delicious NYC/East coast fast food restaurant right in LA.

I ordered beef, chicken, and cheese empanadas. They are delicious. I liked the meat more than the cheese, but I was glad to try it. The outside is flaky and not like what I have had before. It really was good. The food was ready when I arrived to pick it up. Man was nice. The place is in an odd location. I'm glad I live close by since I will definitely go back again soon. I want to try one of the NY chopped sandwiches.

Amazing. I got 3 empanadas and an Iced Coffee. Good thing I didn't order the 12 pack because I would have eaten them all tonight they were so good. Definitely ordering again this week.

first time trying out Dominican food and omg best experience ever‍ got some tres golpes (no salami) with a morir sonando. absolutely loved everything ^~^ the cheese omg can't dine in, but the pick up process is easy and employees are nice ! can't wait to try out other stuff from here. def don't sleep on this gem. this place has high ratings for a reason !!

Im from the bay area, with a short history of staying Uptown NY... Diablo ! this place took me back Washington heights! the chopped cheese was seasoned to perfection and tres golpes were amazing....and i think he puts a little magic in the mangu because without going too deep into my digestive issues, the next morning i was fixed ... in all seriousness LA is so lucky to have this spot and i need yall to support him so he can quickly expand to the bay area. My husband and I just discovered this place and WOW. Officially our new go to neighborhood smoothie place. We got the Green Smoothie and the Peach Cobbler Smoothie and both are 10/10. It's the perfect mix of a yummy smoothie that doesn't leave you feeling icky from too much sugar. Welcome to the neighborhood Bodega Delights! So pumped you're here!!

as a first time customer i was a bit skeptical ordering at bodega due to the confusion of the location and how you are supposed to order but i am glad i figured it out. the food that i had ordered from here tasted so good! when ordering at the bodega you have the option of ordering online or from the phone. i prefer to order online or from the Yelp app. it is best to order with your card than with cash. the ordering process was super easy. their menu was nice and explanatory. i love when places use photos in their menu. it gives the new customer like myself an idea of what the food I'm ordering looks like. here is what i ordered at the bodega : - i do have to say that they are a bit pricey. - * the peach cobbler smoothie. = $10 * (1) beef & cheese empanadas + the chimi sauce ( $2.00 ) = $7.95 * (1) chicken and cheese empanadas + chimi sauce ( $2.00 ) = $7.95 * chicken chop cheese sandwich + fries ( $6.00 ) + adding avocado ( $2.00 ) = $22.00 total + tax ( $4.55) = $52.45. even though my total came up a bit pricey i do think it was worth it. the peach cobbler smoothie was a first try for me. i have never had a peach cobbler smoothie before and reading the positive reviews i was very intrigued to try it. the texture of the peach cobbler smoothie on my palette was different but in a good way. it was very delicious! the beef and chicken empanadas were soooo yummy!! i love that it wasn't made too oily or greasy. it had the perfect crunch texture on the outside. + their chimi sauce was something I've never had before. it is the perfect dipping sauce for a empanada. the chicken chop cheese sandwich was absolutely delicious. ingredients tasted fresh! the sauce mixed with the chicken was so good! the fries are a bit basic especially for the price. since they are regular fries with no seasoning but to each their own! the gentlemen who greeted me at the kitchen when arrived to pick up my order was very friendly and welcoming! as a first time customer i most definitely approve of the bodega! looking forward to coming back and trying out their açaí bowls!

Today, I was in search of a good smoothie. I wanted it to be healthy and delicious at the same time and thanks to the Yelp Community, I found Bodega Delights! I ordered the Peach Cobbler smoothie and it did not disappoint. It was satisfying and full of flavor; it was perfect amount of peach. The service was prompt and friendly. The ambiance is for takeouts they're currently not big enough for sit down, however, you can order on UberEats. I saw folks ordering food and it looked good in particular the empanadas. Overall, #BodegaDelights is for me and a strong recommendation.

Like the Green Protein Smoothie Tasty , ordering went well P/up was weird ...had to reach over counter to get my own straw. Never offered.. Couldn't handle the crowd.. But enjoyed the drink !

Let me start off by saying I was genuinely surprised and 100% satisfied with the outcome. I ordered of Uber eats so I didn't eat there. The green smoothie was solid and what you want out of a nice green smoothie. The star of the show was mangu con los tres golpes. I was sad at first for how small the portions looked but I was completely wrong when eating it. The fried cheese and Dominican salami was a perfect combo. The plantain mash was a consistency of creamy mashed potatoes which tied in amazing with the fried egg on top. I would highly recommend this if you chose to eat at this establishment.

My girl took me here for my birthday. The food is delicious! The gentleman who runs it was in the kitchen by himself, but he took the time to greet us, offer recommendations, and tell us a bit about the business. He clearly has a passion for what he does and it translates into the quality of the food. I had a chopped cheese, some empanadas, and a peach cobbler smoothie. I'm definitely coming back to explore the menu some more. We decided to eat there, on the picnic tables in the courtyard. There isn't a ton of seating, but we were the only people there. It's quiet and comfortable.

I was randomly in the area and was scrolling through yelp and found this Gem. I ordered two Empanadas, steak and cheese to be specific. Its was by far the best empanadas i have had this year. You can taste the quality and the secret sauce (make sure you let them know when you make your order ) was a great combo. Unfortunately the only downside is not being able to dine in but the gentleman were nice enough to let me seat on an outdoor sitting area for the staffs . I would definitely come back

This place was so yummy, I needed some comfort food after a night out and the mangu con tres gulpes hit the spot! It's just the right portion. I also tried the Dominican iced cafe con leche, and I'm super impressed. I typically don't drink coffee straight, but this was delectable. I definitely recommend this spot! The owner is also very personable as a fellow east coaster :)

I've tried this place a few times now. It's located in a shared kitchen warehouse (ghost kitchen) called Krowd Kitchen. I've had a chicken sandwich, chopped cheese sandwich, a breakfast sandwich on a bagel, chicken and beef empinadas, drinks - limeade, orange cream, a smoothie.... EVERYTHING I've tried has been excellent! I'm going to continue trying something new each time. I'm sure I won't be disappointed. The hospitality by he owner is top notch as well. A destination worth driving to for a meal even if it's out of the way. Definitely order directly through them and not a 3rd party delivery site. This is one of those small businesses WORTH going out of the way to support!

Yo Son! This Bodega literally took me in a Journey back to New York! We had the Chimi delicious toasted bun with beef patty and cabbage. The Tres Golpes was perfectly seasoned and cooked to perfection just as if we back in Dominican Republic. Both beef and Chicken Empanadas crunchy with fillings dripping in flavor. The Flan is the best flan I've had since I've tried in the West Coast, creamy and delicious. All the sweets have the perfect amount of sugar not so overpowering where you can't taste flavor profiles. I definitely recommend and will return regularly. Gracias Mano from New York for amazing friendly service.

So happy to have found this delicious gem! I came home with Chicken Chop Sandwhich, a beef and cheese empanada and the chicken and cheese empanada, everything tasted AMAZING!! The flavors were savory, heartwarming and comforting. Can't wait to try their coffee and breakfast sandwich next! Also the staff was super friendly when I picked up my order.
