"A mobile food, produce, ice cream and cocktail truck launching in Los Angeles as a collaboration between 101 Coffee Shop, upstairs drink spot MiniBar, Future Gin and canned-cocktail maker Vervet, using reformatted Coolhaus ice cream trucks. It plans to sell prepared sandwiches, pantry basics and fresh produce alongside Coolhaus ice cream pints and scoops, batched cocktails from MiniBar, canned cocktails from Vervet, and gin-and-tonic kits from Future Gin; 10% of proceeds will be donated to local charities including the LA Regional Food Bank and No Us Without You. Customers can pre-order packages on the project’s website with deliveries beginning Tuesday, April 7 and running through Saturday, April 11 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.; service covers a wide radius across Hollywood, the hills, Los Feliz, East Hollywood, Koreatown, Mid-City, Larchmont, the Miracle Mile, Beverly Grove and West Hollywood, with free delivery on orders of $50 or more. Organizers promoted it as “an ice cream truck with alcohol” intended to bring a bit of “isolation salvation” to Angelenos." - Farley Elliott
