"This old-school tavern at the north end of leafy La Rambla has been a beloved Palma meeting spot since the ’40s. People typically come here for the house variat, which comes loaded with ensaladilla, fried squid, octopus fritters, mushrooms, and cod. And while it’s tough to find variat in Mallorca that isn’t mostly seafood, Bodega La Rambla offers a great vegetarian version with mushrooms, tortilla, and fried vegetables. Pack in with the locals for a sit-down lunch in the wood-toned dining room, or join the standing crowds at the bar for some delicious snacks." - isabella noble

Hands down one of the best restaurants I've been to in recent times. Walked in around 1.30 and waited about 10-15 mins for a table - definitely worth the wait. I'm guessing this is a family owned restaurant with quirky and stylish decor and quick service. The tapas was utterly delectable. The menu has some variations of tapas that you can order that go very well together. I tried two variations and both of them tasted amazing. It felt like I was eating a meal cooked with a lot of love and care. Service is quick and the staff are very warm and welcoming. Must try if you visit Palma. After you've filled your belly you can take a walk down the beautiful tree lined avenue to help digest the food.

Sooo tasty, I didn’t want it to finish🤤 The waitress was really friendly. The prices are quite reasonable. I paid almost €9 for these in the picture.

Amazing food! A place where locals go, but many tourists don't know it. Recommended!

TOURIST SCAM! Stay away from this place if you are a tourist! * I specifically told the server that I want a small portion, because I am not very hungry. I even asked about the difference between the small size and the big size to make sure, he described the sizes with his hands. I ordered the small one, and empathized the small size multiple times. He seemed to understand it. Turns out he brought the big size, which I thought maybe it's actually how their small size looked like. But then on the bill he charged me for the big portion. I complained I didn't order the big one, but the small one. But the only answer I got was "sorry". Suddenly he was making gestures like he didn't understand English well. I highly doubt if this was an honest "mistake", after our multiple mentions of a "small" portion, and his description of small and big sizes. It hurts since I went there mainly because it was recommended by a local. * The food's taste and quality reminded me of cheap canteen food, like frozen or store-bought ones. Even if they charged me correctly I wouldn't go again, at least not for good food. Overall, lesson learned. Beware of tourist scams like this place. There are much better restaurants out there with equally good prices but better taste and the attitude!

We went here for a bite to eat and some drinks. The service was very good. We all enjoyed our drinks and the food was excellent. The meatballs are small but you get lots of them and a large portion so it makes up for the size. The calamari was also excellent. I would definitely come back here again on my travels to Mallorca
