"Welcome to worse. Bodega is the newest taco spot on Randolph, and this counter-service Miami import (with a speakeasy club in the back) jammed itself between Velvet Taco and Texan Taco Bar. Thanks to carne asada that tastes boiled, flavorless, greasy quesabirria, and tortillas that we’re not convinced are flour or corn (but we are certain are bad), there is no reason to eat here. Just do yourself a favor and head past the strobe light and the “it smells like tequila and bad decisions out today” sign, and just go to the speakeasy in the back of the restaurant. "Bodega is a great spot for tacos on South Beach and also has a club in the back, which is why it always looks obnoxiously crowded around midnight on the weekends. If you’re just there for tacos, walk past the line, go inside, and find the register to the left. Stick to the tacos over a burrito (the al pastor is good enough to get two of). Eat them there if you’re down for some people-watching or grab them to-go if you want to eat your tacos in peace." - Ryan Pfeffer

Randolph Street, I see Bodega Taqueria y Tequila bringing its first location outside of Florida to the West Loop: ownership says this one is the largest location yet, taking elements of a taqueria and a speakeasy-style bar.
