Yellowstone at the Bodega! I love this place. A sultry, yet rich boho atmosphere. Great wine and Brie.

Eric Lear

Google
Thanks for always a great vibe. Good list of wines, flights are well curated. Amir and the other staff are great, the friends and I love to ask for blinders.

Beth P

Google
Very friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable staff. Great selection of wine from all over the world. Relaxing atmosphere. They have your typical snacks that pair with wine but allow outside food.

Sarah Vanroyce

Google
Best Wine bar in Dallas! The wine selection is amazing, everyone is very educated and friendly!

Megan Baldock

Google
Bodega Wine Bar was fantastic. I'm so sad it took us this long to come visit. The options are endless! There is something for everyone and the atmosphere is incredibly inviting. This will be our first of many visits.

Aubrey Sepko

Google
Favorite wine bar in DFW! Amier (owner) is insanely knowledgeable and is always willing to share that knowledge with his patrons. Whether you're buying a bottle to go or want to explore a flight of pinot to understand how different they can be from all over the world, stop in! Pro tip - you won't regret having the brie for a snack either.

Jeffrey Jayson

Google
If DDD were looking for wine bars this would be the winner. This place is all about the glass. The staff will help with a selection from their extensive inventory if you need it. Don't forget to find a few bottles for the house.

Kat Benner

Google
Wine flights and awesome atmosphere. You can always try something you've never tried before in a wine flight, the owner is awesome & knowledgeable, and it's a fantastic, intimidate, cozy spot.

Allison McMaster ..

Yelp
This wine bar is positively delightful! It has an intimate, date night vibe. The staff is incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. We tried three of the flights- the Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, and the Global White Wine and loved them all. Our favorite wine from all the flights was the Rombauer Chardonnay. We also tried the bruschetta which was also incredible! I would highly recommend visiting!

Jackie C.

Yelp
What a lovely spot! I love the feel when you walk in like an old wine cellar and the flights are wonderful. The appetizers are wonderful and my friend and I had a wonderful time. The service was nice and we look forward to being back.

Victoria N.

Yelp
Love this little place. Walked in last night, and I was so happy to see it so busy. They always have a great selection of tastings, but I treated myself to a glass of Shiraz/Cabernet blend and then a Barolo. We sat at the bar and had a wonderful time. I always try to make the wine fairs, those are a deal!!

Nick M.

Yelp
Fantastic service and great wines and recommendations. If I lived any closer I think I'd be here all the time! But I will always be happy to come here

Jodi C.

Yelp
This was my second time coming here. Service was horrible, ambiance was okay if you like seeing wine boxes. I don't plan on going back. I am sure we have better win bar options in our neighborhood.

Christina N.

Yelp
Perhaps we chose a bad day to check out this wine bar... After reading some of the reviews, we had high expectations that unfortunately were not met. No cheese boards or tasting flights because they were understaffed. I understand times are tough but calling yourself "the best wine bar in Dallas" is quite a bit of an exaggeration. It's a cozy hole in the wall. Prices were on the more expensive side. Bartender and folks were nice, wine was fine, but with so many great wine bars in DFW, we probably won't be coming back.

Kathie H.

Yelp
Great vibe and delicious wine at excellent prices. Owner came over and introduced himself. Love that!

Judy P.

Yelp
Lovely quiet little spot with fantastic service and a huge array of wines. Owner Amier is there behind the bar, ready to listen to what you like and suggest a wine based on your tastes to try. Unlike some wine bars, this one is quiet enough you can talk with your friends without shouting. Wine prices are good - A perfect place to meet a friend for a few drinks or start a date. See you there!

D V.

Yelp
My new wine place, really interesting and good wines here. From France to Spain, from Italy to California, their selection is really impressive, not for the quantity of bottles but for the quality and vintages that they have. I tried an amazing albariño from Rias Baixas Spain and then ended up trying an amazing Chateauneuf du Pape from France. The place is cozy, it feels like a real Bodega. Loved the decoration and rustic ambiance of the place. If you don't want to eat from their menu, you can grab pizza from the restaurant next door (btw really good pizza!) Bartender is a one man's show, but I actually liked that too. He is super cool and really knows about wine. Incredible service. Definitely will come back soon! Cheers, salud!

Yelp
My all times go to wine bar. Very casual and a place you can enjoy your favorite pastime while drinking good wine. I highly recommend it for small to large groups.

Jack N.

Yelp
i like this place. knowledgeable about wine, good selection of different wines. nice atmosphere

Andrea J.

Yelp
Cute spot for a date or to grab a glass of wine with a friend. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable. The wine list was larger than I expected. Kinda a hole-in-the-wall place, but a great find!

Nicole H.

Yelp
I am a bit torn about this place, but am erring up. The atmosphere is fantastic, romantic, exactly what I was looking for and want from a wine bar. The staff were very knowledgeable and attentive, but also knew when to back off and let you be with your company. I just didn't like any of the wines. The menu is heavy on high end European wines, and those aren't my thing. That's not their fault. So as much as I LOVED the feel of the place, I don't know that I will be back. But I do recommend you try it yourself.

Amy L.

Yelp
Amazing and varied selection of wine! The owners Kelsey and Amir are super friendly and very knowledgeable! They are also super approachable, I might add, so no matter what your level of wine knowledge you should feel very welcome here. Definitely do not turn this place down!

Melissa C.

Yelp
The place was packed and I was pleasantly surprised. When I discovered I was hungry the bartender mentioned the pizza restaurant next door was an option- I got a slice of cheese to go with the bottle of white wine. The atmosphere is so romantic! This particular night it was quite warm. I'm hoping it was a freak AC issue.

Mary V. A.

Yelp
Love this place! Great selection, great service, and super cute inside. Definitely worth checking out, and will be returning.

C M.

Yelp
This is the best wine bar in Dallas, probably Texas, probably the world. Five stars for sure!

Kelly R.

Yelp
Cozy! We had the impanadas and bruschetta. Delicious! Went with a bottle of Remirez de Garuza Rioja Reserve and it was impressive. Fun atmosphere for a Friday night. More quiet on week nights.

Tiffany W.

Yelp
There's more than meets the eye at Bodega! I was looking for a cozy wine bar to unwind with my girlfriends and decided to give Bodega a try. It's not the most appealing from the outside- just another addition to a strip of stores. This is an older area. However, when you walk in, the atmosphere shifts immediately with dim lovjting. They've got comfy couches, regular seating as well as tall chairs for you to choose between. The attire was casual to nice. Their menu is clear and concise, which I appreciate. Wine is sectioned off first by flight prices followed by the selections they offer. We chose to go with the sparkling flight. Out waitress was good with explaining our flight. The glasses are numbered at the bottom so we knew which asterisk corresponded with which taste. We had ordered one flight to start with. Our waitress was a little confused and thought we ordered one flight per person rather than to share, saying she heard "3" and it was a bit awkward since we didn't. We ended up just tasting only the sparkling flight. Regardless of this miscommunication, I had a great time and will be back to try more flights!

Yelp
Cutest, most charming, adorable wine bar I've been to in Dallas. I met a friend around 5:30pm and it was completely empty in there but, by 7pm, totally different scene. While this hidden gem is inside of a little strip mall, don't let the exterior fool you! The minute you walk in, you almost forget you're even in Dallas. Great wine selection, very intimate setting, perfect for a girls night out just catching up...or a date (I had both experiences here and they were both great!) The food selection is not that extensive, but perfect if you just want a small bite to pair with your wine. Service is great, not overwhelming, but just the right amount to make sure you're taken care of. I will most definitely be a repeat customer here!!

Kristen D.

Yelp
This is a quaint little spot with lovely rustic décor and fantastic service. From the outside, it doesn't look like a great place to stop, but from the inside you will forget you are even in Dallas. It's low lit and has a wine cellar feel. The waiters were very knowledgeable and great with splitting checks. They were eager to help a larger group and make it a special evening for my friends. They had a good array of wine choices from high end to affordable. They also allow you to bring in your own bottle and just enjoy the environment ($10 fee for bringing your own). They have several flight options built so that you can explore your palate or you can grab a glass or a bottle. I would gladly go back to the little spot and enjoy some good wine with friends.

Samm S.

Yelp
The most unassuming wine bar in Dallas. In a strip mall and doesn't look like much from the outside but the inside is like you're in a wine cellar. The staff is incredibly knowledgeable and their pricing is very agreeable. Order a sample flight of wine and you won't be disappointed

John M.

Yelp
I love a place where the owners are right there talking everything from wine's to kids in school. Wonderful choices and great atmosphere. When you think of the quintessential neighborhood place this is it. I just wish we lived closer.

Mark C.

Yelp
Nice wine bar in East Dallas. Went in with my Mom on Mother's Day weekend for a short break from shopping. Very knowledgeable and a very nice selection. Ambience was nice and the wine quality, selection and price were all very nice. Highly recommend.

Grace B.

Yelp
This bar is amazing. The staff is so nice. The speak easy aspect is wicked. And the drinks are incredible. I love a bar that hires bartenders who know what they're doing!

Maggie K.

Yelp
Got a wine flight and a cheese plate. Divine! Also open at 4 which is helpful for pre-gaming before dinner. Highly recommend for a date or meeting with friends!

Taylor B.

Yelp
Amazing wine selection. Staff is knowledgeable of options if you're not quite sure what you want. Cheese boards are great and atmosphere is great for both bigger groups and if there's only two!

Seth B.

Yelp
So "my date" (from last years review) and I came here for our 1 year anniversary. We are now engaged and getting married in April '18. Just as before this place was a perfect romantic setting. Now we just gotta wait on these two ladies to get up from "our" table.

Amy L.

Yelp
Is Amazing in every way!!!!! The owners are amazing! Their knowledge of wine is outstanding! The meat and cheese plate is phenomenal! When the owners are not there they have amazing staff who took us in close to closing tonight and gave us great wine and service!!! This place is just lovely.

Emalee H.

Yelp
Cool, causal, and cozy are the perfect ways to describe one of my favorite best kept secrets in the Lakewood area. Bar staff is consistent and friendly. Flights give you the chance to experience their varied selections of wines from around the world. It's a little dark with different types of table settings (high top, low tables, couches, outside, etc) so you can dress up or down. Everyone who visits are from the neighborhood so it's a nice break from the bustle and bustle of Dallas. Only 4 stars because prices are a little on the high side especially by the glass, but it's a nice treat and worth the experience. Would recommend and love bringing friends to our neighborhood wine bar!

Taylor S.

Yelp
Such a great little dive. This was our second time here and the consistency is soooooo there! We have been both times for their end of the month wine fair which is such a great deal (I'm all about deals)! It's currently $25 for 15 tastings or $40 for 20 tastings (the last 5 are "reserve" wines). There is such a unique variety of wines that grace each of these events and the shop owner Amier is super friendly and is one of the servers as well and is such a wealth of knowledge. Will definitely come back!

April K.

Yelp
Absolute favorite wine bar in Dallas! Romantic, cozy, great atmosphere and awesome selection of wine. Also local beers available and a variety of charcuterie and tapas. Excellent for a date night, girls night, or intimate gathering of friends.

Lindsay T.

Yelp
Loved this place in uptown (in the younger years) and its still great. Fair prices, not pretentious, knowledgeable staff. Excited for Lakewood to get a gem like this! Rec: great light pinot nior, Tyler Cheese board: triple cream brie, smoked gouda and point reyes blue.

Kenneth W.

Yelp
This is, without a doubt, the best wine bar in Dallas! The owner, Amier, knows which wines you are going to want to drink. He doesn't just try to fit you in to a small list of mediocre bottles on the menu. He has an amazing selection of carefully curated glasses and bottles of really high end wines. I have been coming here for years and I am always impressed that I can find something new and interesting at a reasonable price. This place is truly a gem.

Laura A.

Yelp
The sommelier Kelsey is a beautiful tour guide to an amazing experience! Tell her what you like and she will take you on an amazing flight!! The selection is enormous and well chosen! Date night or a business lunch or dinner this intimate place makes you feel like your in a wine cellar, without skimping on a little elegance with that Dallas flair!i can't leave out the very appropriate and yummy food menu that compliments your flight! Come here you won't be disappointed!

Kathleen A.

Yelp
I was so pleasantly surprised to find this little gem in my Lakewood neighborhood. Nice selection, their wine flights are fun, and since they have an extremely limited food selection, it's nice they let you order from the neighboring restaurants. Very fun! Nice last minute surprise!

Leigh P.

Yelp
Wine! This place has wine! Squeee!! Bodega is a great little wine bar in the getting-cooler-by-the-moment shopping center on the south east corner of Mockingbird and Abrams. This is apparently the same wine bar as the one that was in Travis Walk (that I never really frequented but I heard anecdotally was great...). Prices were fair but I wouldn't say there are any deals to be had. I had one of the white flights and then had another glass of wine. 1/2 a cheese plate later, my bill was $36. Not bad considering what I had... but still, not a cheap HH by any means. The ambiance was dark and comfy, lots of tall tables, short tables and couches too. There's a long bar also, if you're the belly up type. They have special tastings too on the last Saturday of the month that look fun and like they are a great deal! Lezzz go!

Monica B.

Yelp
I absolutely adore Bodega. I always suggest it as a place to meet whether it's my girl friends, a work acquaintance or date night. They are extremely helpful and friendly. Great cheese selection too. Amier will also help you find a wine. Prisoner, Turley, and rose bubbles...what more could you need. The whole staff is amazing and it feels like home!

M K.

Yelp
When we arrived we were taken aback somewhat by the location (strip mall) but once you walk inside, the fragrance of wood and wine is very noticeable. Very earthy and warming. The service is equally impressive. The prices for a glass may be a tad high, but not over-the-top. Excellent selection that runs the gamut of terroirs and regions.

Raley W.

Yelp
Locally owned. Great wine selection, great small plates, fantastic atmosphere. Come for a glass of your favorite wine and take a bottle home if you want! Perfect happy hour spot, place to unwind or have an intimate date night. Come for the wine and stay for the atmosphere. Need more food than an appetizer? You can bring it in!

Pam E.

Yelp
We were there for over five minutes before the bartender came to our table to see what we wanted. Then ten minutes later and fifteen glasses of wine...served to others...we left. We won't be back. Went to Lakewood Growler and were served in a jiffy.

Pamela S.

Yelp
A wine cave situated in a strip shopping center. And it works. Great ambiance, wonderful wines and wine flights. Tasty cheeses. And you can also bring in food (conveniently, next to Thai place and Lovers pizza by the slice). The owner is very knowledgeable about wines and just a great guy. Not a surprise it's Dallas' best wine bar.

April G.

Yelp
Popped in on a date night and it was delightful. Amir was extremely helpful, walking through their extensive collections. The décor was cozy and romantic, wish it was a little closer to our neighborhood as we'd frequent it much more often.

Peter W.

Yelp
First time here and loving it. Great atmosphere, a very nice wine cellar with stone walls and fireplace. Fantastic wine selection and they welcome food brought in from the surrounding restaurants (and there are plenty). Definitely will be back! Cheers!

Kristyn R.

Yelp
I am beyond excited to have Bodega move to my part of town. I knew they were moving, but when I heard they were open I had to get there! It's so cozy and quiet...which I love in a wine bar. I had a flight of Big Reds for $17, which I feel is super fair. One of my favorite wines, The Prisoner, they had for $14/glass, and a bottle retails anywhere from $36 to $40...so again, pretty fair. One super cool thing to note...you can bring in your own food, just like Lakewood Growler...and you can bring your growler in as well if you are not a wine person, but those you are with are...they'll put it in the fridge for you. So nice! They have a wine fair last Saturday of each month from 2pm-5pm where you can try 20 wines for $25....can't wait! I see myself becoming a regular here....which could be good...could be bad...all depends on your perspective!

Lis F.

Yelp
This wine bar is wonderful. Amir the owner is very personable and well traveled. He provides good service, talks to the customers and has a great selection of wines by the glass or bottle. Don't be fooled by the strip center, step inside and you will be happy you tried Bodega. I'll go back next time I'm in Dallas!

Mike K.

Yelp
Absolutely LOVE this place!!! Great wine, great atmosphere and great information about the wines.

David S.

Yelp
This was my 4th visit and have had nothing but great experiences. Great wine selection, great service, knowledgeable staff, and laid back/casual atmosphere. Highly recommend for anyone looking to enjoy a wine night with a relaxing atmosphere and great selection.

Katie C.

Yelp
This place was a ton of fun. It's a cozy wine bar tucked into a strip mall. Don't be deceived by its location. It's a great happy hour/girls night location. Jason and Amir were awesome and tolerated a boisterous group of 3 very close girlfriends. We had an amazing time and appreciated our great experience for a friend's birthday celebration!!

Su L.

Yelp
I love me some wine bars. I love me some wine bars that have flights so I can try out a few before indulging in a full glass or calling it a night. Luckily for me and everyone else, Bodega has both a vast selection of wines and wine flights. It's also just down the street from me so even better! A friend and I both got wine flights and despite them being flights, I found that the pours were pretty generous. I'm also a light weight so take my words with a grain of salt. The staff was extremely knowledgeable and also very attentive. They were prompt to ask how we were doing, provide waters, and clear our glasses when we were done. The atmosphere is very intimate and romantic with enough seating for quite a few people. The decor is dark, rustic, and warm. This is perfect for a date night with your significant other or even just a girls' night out. P.S. Bodega is right behind a TCBY so think of all the possibilities after you've had a few glasses... I'm just kidding (kind of). Bodega also has a food menu that I have had yet the chance to indulge in.
