The 13 Best Restaurants in Houston’s Museum District | Eater Houston

"This unassuming taco shop is actually one of the best in the city for no-frills, modern, casual Mexican cuisine. Diners can build their your own burrito bowls or breakfast tacos, or order up a rotisserie chicken quarter with salsa and tortillas. Don’t forget the margaritas. Order takeout through Bodega’s website." - Brittanie Shey

The burrito I had was good and huge, maybe a little less flavorful than I was hoping. They put a good amount of meat in it though. Was not a fan of the tres leches cake. It was very thin, no milk on the bottom and way too much cinnamon. Prices were fair. The atmosphere and set up was very nice

A Day of Dinos and Decibels, Fueled by Bodegas A truly epic Houston day, one that spans from the prehistoric wonders of the Houston Museum of Natural Science to the thundering riffs of a Metallica concert, requires strategic and satisfying sustenance. Bodegas Taco Shop, conveniently nestled in the Museum District, proved to be the perfect fuel for our adventure. Stepping out of the museum and into the early evening, the casual and lively atmosphere of Bodegas was a welcome transition. With the promise of a high-energy concert ahead, we opted for a mix of fresh and flavorful tacos to power us through the night. The grilled chicken tacos were a solid choice. The chicken was tender and juicy, with a nice char-grilled flavor that paired well with the fresh toppings. Each bite was a straightforward and satisfying taste of a classic done right. The standout, however, was the fish tacos. Lightly battered and perfectly flaky, the fish was complemented by a crisp slaw and a creamy sauce that provided a refreshing contrast. They were a flavorful and surprisingly light option that didn't weigh us down before an evening of standing and cheering. Bodegas Taco Shop delivered exactly what we needed: delicious, quick, and energizing food in a prime location. It was the ideal pit stop in a day filled with Houston's finest offerings, from ancient fossils to modern metal legends. If you find yourself in the Museum District with a hunger to satisfy, Bodegas is a reliable and tasty choice.

Google
I really think this restaurant is faking its top reviews. Tortillas are not fresh, you can taste the preservatives. Same with the cheese. It’s covered in the same dust as shredded cheese you get from the grocery store. The beef fajita meat was very tough, had bad texture, and no flavor. Try a different restaurant in the area instead. Worse than chuy’s, worse than gringo’s, worse than taco cabana. HEB sells 20 fresh tortillas for like $5, there’s no reason for a taco restaurant to not be using fresh tortillas. Gas station quality, downtown price. Staff were friendly, atmosphere was fine. My wife got the fish tacos and said the only thing good was the Coke Zero.

Google
Bodegas delivered the best Mexican food I’ve ever had! Every bite was bursting with flavor, and the quality was top-notch. From the perfectly seasoned meats to the fresh, vibrant salsas, everything was spot on. The atmosphere was lively, the service was fantastic, and the drinks and dessert were just as good as the food. Can’t wait to go back!

Google
The fish tacos were a little bland. Margaritas were good! I liked the inside, the bar, and the patio. If the food wasn't mid I'd recommend a bit stronger.

First time coming to this spot. It was a hop skip and a jump away from the museum. Super good food. Will definitely go back

We stopped in for lunch during a day at the Children's museum. It seems to be a good spot for coworkers going to lunch we saw several groups like that. Very little line when we arrived. Kids meals are served up in the line right away, adult meal was brought to the table. Dark inside, a little limited seating it filled up on a Friday. Fast casual tacos. Food was good, a little pricey for some items. Generous portion though. There's outdoor tables shared between the restaurants too.

Google
Our favourite stop to grab a quick and tasty snack while visiting the Museum district. This place is nearby the district, parks, zoo etc. we love the chicken appetizers and fries here. Definitely worth it. Loads of other options available as well.

Yelp
I've passed by this place many times when leaving the park and always wanted to check it out. So this day I was at the building it was in and decided to get a breakfast taco. When I went in there were people in line like cafeteria style. They were telling the server exactly what they wanted on their tacos and the servers were moving fast. So I picked a flour tortilla with refried beans, eggs, and brisket. The second one was without the meat. Those tacos were SO yummy!! I will definitely be back for more! I also got their mango & pineapple lemonade and it was so good and refreshing!

Yelp
I was introduced to this location by a bike group and this is often their pit stop. I had a chance this week to stop by again and I always order the Chicken Enchilada plate. This time I tried the Cadillac Margarita with a top shelf tequila of your choice. Parking is not great, but they do have a parking garage. I recommend parking on the street. They make your food in front of you, which is always great. The portions are generous as you can see! They are located in a medical area near the museums. Service has always been great, it's fast and they accommodate any adjustments that you want to make to your order.

Yelp
Great food at great prices! I am glad only one of us ordered the plate because it would have been too much food. We got chips and queso. Crunchy chips made in house. I ordered a quesadilla plate with grilled veggies and I had them add pico de gallo inside. It is served with a side of refried black beans and rice. He ordered a chicken Tinga taco and they asked do you want the plate. I am glad he only got a single taco because we had leftover. All for $22 before a small tip.

Yelp
I ordered my food in the car on the way to the Motown revue. the food was fresh and being made as I was walking in. The staff was very friendly and the casual environment made me comfortable to bring my folding chair inside as I was headed to the show. The salsa is definitely caliente but I love that and the shrimp was cooked perfectly. I had more than enough food and the charro beans and rice were a great addition. Thanks fir being a delicious mirage otw to the pavilion.

Yelp
Great spot to hang out with a very large group of friends! It can be very hard to coordinate last minute gatherings and Bodegas made it easy! The service was timely, the food was tasty and the interior was lovely and clean. I liked the ceiling lights that reminded me of the holidays! We were allowed to sit and eat and we're never rushed or hurried to finish and make room. Their takeout is equally good! I loved the taco bowl, though it was a bit difficult to eat at times. The fillings were really tasty as were the desserts. A good spout when you're craving Tex-Mex!

Yelp
Needed a place to eat lunch before heading to Children's Museum and this place was super close. Walked up, ordered, and the food came out quickly. I ordered the chips and queso as an app and they were both delicious. As my meal I ordered the appetizer street tacos, which were just ok. The rice and beans were a small portion...and not just on my plate. The flavoring of the meat was also just ok. My friend's son ordered the chicken tenders and fries and really liked them. My friend ordered the pork plate and cleared his plate. If you're in the museum district and looking for a place to go, this is an ok spot.
google avatar

Chandni L.

Yelp
If you're looking for the best no-fuss (vegetarian) nachos, this is the place for you. The nachos are a pretty big size for the price and it always helps to have a friend help finish them. Their yucca fries as well as plantains are also delicious. The lines moves pretty quickly and there is both indoor and outdoor seating available

Yelp
This is the unofficial after-walk restaurant for one of my walking groups so I finally decided to go there after today's walk. Well, I tried to come here a few weeks ago but they were closed for their private holiday party. The place next door is also owned by the same people so if some of your party wants tacos and the other wants pizza, you can order at both places and they won't care. I hadn't had fajitas for a while so I got the mixed platter (or was it Combo?). Other than the cuts of meats being almost perfectly the same size, there wasn't anything remarkable about it good or bad. The salsa wasn't that good to be honest, but the cuts of meat were lean and cooked well but again, there wasn't anything too remarkable about the flavor. Since I'm watching my carbs, I was a little worried that I'd get a whole lot of rice and beans but they came in little plastic containers that you'd usually put salsa in so while that was good for me, for the price they charged, it seemed like they were kind of skimping. On one hand I was glad that I wasn't going to over-eat my carbs but on the other hand, it didn't seem like I was really getting a great value since if you go to a regular Tex-Mex place, they'd easily give you triple the rice and the beans and also bring you free chips and salsa. Then again, a lot of the people who stop by here are probably visiting the museums, Hermann Park, or perhaps are an unfortunate soul who has a loved one at the hospital across the street so there is a premium for this location. So overall, if you're out and about in that area and want to get something to eat, they're decent enough but I wouldn't go out of my way to come here. Next time though I'll try the fish tacos since I heard it was good.
google avatar

Rachel S.

Yelp
For the price, I'd say this place is just ok. The fajitas were a bit skimpy and I was a bit sad about the lack of rice. Beans were weirdly gooey and I found that quite offputting. parking in this area is difficult. The flan dessert was good though-- very creamy and sweet. This is the first restaurant that I've gone to where the chicken melts in your mouth--made me wish I'd gotten chicken fajitas instead of steak!
google avatar

Zach H.

Yelp
Good amount of food for the price, and quality wasn't bad. They have a lot of options on the menu - from $15 fajitas to build your own tacos for like $11-13 bucks. I got the fajitas and while they weren't amazing, I was happy with them for the price for sure. The shrimp tacos were also good. Mexican Coke for my drink sealed the deal! The staff were friendly and the restaurant is well decorated and clean. Bathrooms were out of order. Overall - good quick stop when walking around museum district.
google avatar

Christina M.

Yelp
So we picked up some tacos for lunch. They all had rice and beans and an array of tacos. These tacos were bland, looked like the beef fajita meat had been boiled then seasoned. The refried beans were like a soup. We weren't expecting this because of the long line and good reviews but this was a huge letdown. We won't be back unfortunately. This is not the standard for a Houston taco shop. I'm sorry I'm leaving this review bc I hate to do this to a business but the food quality has to improve

Janee W.

Yelp
Terrible service! I I was really excited to try the place after reading the reviews but unfortunately my experience wasn't the best. I wasn't greeted, they seemed very annoyed when taking my order, very annoyed when I asked for things that they forgot to give me. I understand Spanish, they were definitely talking bad about me. and to top it off food was cold. Not recommended.
google avatar

Mark W.

Yelp
One of only restaurant in this museum district. If you are tired of the food selection at the Houston Museum of Natural Science, this is a good alternative choice for fast casual food. Although the name is Taco Shop, they have other food choices there. They have other food that is not tacos, I tried the tacos before, it is just good tacos nothing wow about! The Mexican pizza it is very close to the Taco Bello's old Mexican pizza. The price is a bit pricey but I am sure the rent here is not cheap. After you pay, they will bring the food to your table. The food is good but nothing special. Where you have to have a trip to come and eat.

Yelp
I was working in the 1200 Binz building. I popped in Bodegas Taco Shop. I hadn't been in years. I ordered the grilled fish tacos on corn. They're served with black beans and cilantro rice. You order at the counter, pay, given a number and the food is brought to you. The tacos were good and come with two tortillas each. Too bad I couldn't add salsa to the tacos. It was too spicy. The black beans were delicious. The cilantro rice was not that flavorful.
google avatar

Camille C.

Yelp
Loved this place. Easy to order, quick, friendly service and phenomenal food! I had the fish tacos. Craveable! The chips and salsa were very flavorful as well. The location was clean. Wally made my day. I really enjoyed my visit.
google avatar

Nancy C.

Yelp
I have stopped by twice to make my own nacho creation and I have been pleased each time. Walking in, you're greeted by a homey atmosphere with tables spread around and televisions playing sports. I ordered at the counter and went with build my own nachos with rotisserie chicken. First up is rice and there are two options: spanish rice and a green rice. I opted for half and half, no beans, chicken, cheese sauce, pico de gallo, corn, chopped onions, cilantro, and pickled jalapenos. There were also options for lettuce, cheese, and sour cream. The chips were thin and crunchy, the chicken moist, and the cheese sauce was the perfect consistency. Delicious!
google avatar

Chantel C.

Yelp
Are taco Thursdays a thing? Stopped in and ordered the shrimp tacos with a side of flautas. The flautas were okay. The chicken was very dry, so I'm glad I had salsa and sour cream and guacamole to help them out. The shrimp tacos were ok, I did ask for some salsa to spice it up a bit. The shrimp was cooked well, but they were a little bland, in my opinion, pulled high with lettuce. The service was good, and they had plenty of seating, but nothing really stood out to me. The mango margarita was good can't really mess those up

Yelp
When I visited Bodegas Taco Shop i had an amazing experience! The food was absolutely delicious. Large menus in front of you in the (LUBYS LINE) to show what they have which I loved. The tacos were fresh, flavorful, and perfectly seasoned. The portions were generous, and I especially loved their salsa, which added the perfect kick. The ambience was lively and welcoming, with a fun, casual vibe that made it a great place to hang out with friends. The decor had a cool, modern twist on traditional Mexican elements, making the whole experience feel unique. You can sit outside on the patio or inside and watch sports while you enjoy your food as well as your margaritas. Which by the way were amazing. The service was top-notch! The staff was friendly, attentive, and made sure i had everything i needed. Overall, Bodegas Taco Shop is a fantastic spot for anyone craving tasty tacos etc and a great atmosphere. Definitely recommend!

Yelp
A rare place to eat that is not a museum cafe in the museum district. Though I would probably eat here after going to a museum, since it feels so good to have some tacos after a long day there. I only tried the fish tacos so I can't speak to the other meats, but I liked it! Don't know how they did the fish but it is so good with the salsa. Beans were the best I've ever had. It was plenty for me, and price wise, definitely cheaper to get the fish taco combo than ordering per. I went late at night when there weren't a lot of people, but the food still took a while to come out, so maybe prepare to wait during rush hours.
google avatar

Cameron S.

Yelp
The service here was subpar. It was a bit confusing when first walking in because there was nothing directing me to the order area. The food was good, but not amazing. The size of these mega nachos would definitely feed 3-4 people, not the 2 that it claims. Also, the way they have things priced was confusing, because it says that you can build your own nachos for 12.95 for brisket, but I also got charged $9 for nachos as well. And they couldn't explain why.

Yelp
Bodegas Taco shop is one of if not the best taco/ tex mex fusion restaurant in Houston. The ambiance is very casual and inviting to say the least. They have televisions for any sports watchers or for anyone looking to keep up with the news. When you walk in you order at counter with a walking line if you order any customized food options. They have beer, mexican sodas and water at the counter and soda/tea fountains in the dining area. I always get a large aquas fresca with 2 straws to share with someone I love. The waitresses and servers all are friendly and amazing at giving suggestions on the food. The meat always tastes authentic and everyone I bring here usually falls in love at first sight. If you are at the museum or near the medical center give this gift from the taste bud gods a chance and get a slice of tres leches to go !!!! 10/10 experience as always !!!
google avatar

Ian A.

Yelp
Food was great! (Beats going to the Museum food court lol) Quick 5-minute walk to get here from Museum. Service was amazing, food was served hot and fresh. Mexican Pizza was a little dry but I added sour cream and elevated it next level. Fajitas don't come with a handle for the grill which I think should be standard for consumer safety. Restaurant was nice with music and bar options.
google avatar

Moni T.

Yelp
Service is fast, casual and quick place to get some food if you are around the zoo and museum district. We came here as a group, got a big table quickly and no extra service charge. Order at the counter. Our family tried the fish tacos combo and build your own tacos, everything was good and decent. I appreciate the fish was grilled and not fried. Nothing really stands out, but it was overall good for a quick and easy meal.
google avatar

Kaoru M.

Yelp
We ate a late lunch here after a visit to the nearby Houston Children's Museum. Was initially a bit hesitant because their average Yelp review score was like 3.6, but it was a great lunch! Food was tasty and ready quickly. Service was good. Sitting outside on the patio was nice. I suppose it might've been a bit on the pricey side for Tex-Mex, but maybe it's typical for the area. I would say they're a solid 4.5, so I'll round up to make it a 5!
google avatar

Abdullrahman A.

Yelp
A better chipotle. This place has very quick service, and you can get tacos (~$3 each), Burrito, or a bowl. Plenty of proteins, plenty of sides/sauces to add. I had 3 tacos, 2 with chicken, 1 with beef fajita. The food was pretty good, but these places get better the more you eat here because you discover all the possible things to add to your meal and learn all the sauces. I also saw that you can order fresh fajita, which always looks good. Inside, there are plenty of tables and booths, so you won't have any problems finding seating even for a party of 6! Overall, I recommend it if you are looking for a cheap and quick meal, but I wouldn't be driving out of my way to get here.
google avatar

Edward P.

Yelp
I went here to pick up some to go lunch. The atmosphere was just as I expected for a bar and grill. The smell from the kitchen was amazing and even though the line was long to order it moved quickly. I ordered the naked wings with fries combo. They followed my instructions and gave me extra crispy wings seasoned well along fries the same way.
google avatar

Yelp
E Excellent experience and variety of foods and find that was fair also dining outside on the sidewalk which is what I did

Yelp
This is a great place! It is super convenient to go after going to the museum, or from the medical center. It is designed similarly to a Mo's or a Chipotle, but it has so many different flavors. I got the build your own bowl with ground beef and cilantro lime rice and black beans. I added some delicious pico, lettuce, and some of the creamy cilantro spicy salsa. I then added some tomatillo salsa as well (I am a salsa aficionado, what can I say). The salsa was all delicious, and very fresh. They have probably about 15 different salsa options, too, which is fun. I am dying to try them all! My husband got a bowl as well in the tortilla, and it was also delicious. We also got a frozen margarita pitcher, which was great! It has lots of flavor and is affordable. This would be a great place to come back with a group! In fact, there were lots of groups there. The ambiance is pretty casual and social with a little bar, and lots of medical professionals and friends there. It is decorated in an eclectic, fun way that has a lot of personality. The service is all very kind and helpful as well! We love this place! I love the location, and the food is affordable and delicious! I recommend :)

Yelp
If you are looking for a heavenly Mexican food then look no further. The food is served by the staff but everything is visible so you look and point and get exactly what you want. The moment you walk in the smell will peak your appetite

Sierra M.

Yelp
We stopped by for a quick lunch and found a new favorite spot!!! We got a build your own quesadilla and a Mexican pizza. SOOO much meat! You get a ton of food here, you will not leave hungry. Such a great little spot walking distance from the museum district

Yelp
For one i would like to start with bodegas taco shop has always been my favorite restaurant ever since i was a baby and i am an adult now but today i was very disappointed. I came to order some food and i needed it to go and the guy who took my order was one talking to somebody else who he went to high school with which completely ignored me but i didnt let that bother me or anything. As it is my turn to start ordering i ask if my food can be to go because im driving way to cypress. As i am ordering my food i am getting told that i couldn't get anything on the side from the things i was ordering . I ordered the loaded trucker fries and the mega nachos and i just simply asked if they could put everything on the side due to i didn't want my food soggy and i was taking it to go so i can head back on the freeway. The guy taking my order said no that they don't do the stuff on the side and it would have to be on top which i looked at him and said no it can't be on top even with me having it to go and i didn't want my food to be mushy and soggy by the time i get to cypress. He proceeds to tell me no and i asked to speak to a manager and i let him know the same thing. Now mind you i haven't ordered my nachos yet so as i was going to order my nachos to add onto the fries i wanted they told me i couldn't put my stuff for my nachos on the side , prior to that this is not my first time coming here I've ate here at this restaurant all the time. So even the last time i came i was going to order my mega nachos with shrimp and briskest and the same person who took my order last time is the same person who took it this time who , one lied and said i couldn't have shrimp on the mega nachos when i for one know i can it would just be an up-charge which is fine with me but as i was ordering the nachos he told me i couldn't have it on the side and my mega nachos couldn't be to go i would have to order two build your own nachos and have those to go . Which isn't what i wanted at all so of course i instantly start loosing my appetite and start crying because they are for one telling me things that i know they can do and two they were making me feel very unsatisfied . I started crying to the point where i had to walk away and go into the bathroom and gather myself together. Mind you i didn't complete my order still so i came back out the bathroom completely lost my appetite , still crying and i was just going to pay for the loaded trucker fries and leave. As i'm walking past the workers are talking and just looking at me as i continue to walk, the manger sees me and ask did i still want the nachos i said no i am not hungry no more I'll just take the fries and go. As i am paying for the fries im still being looked at and stared at, while still having tears in my eyes and very disappointed i started to walk out the restaurant with the fries in my hand . I'm not sure what it is but i have never experienced such a bad service with bodegas out of all the times i have ever came here let alone this used to be my favorite restaurant up until today . After today's service i will no longer be eating here. I even cried when i left the restaurant because i was highly upset about everything that happened. It really hurt my feelings since I've been coming to this restaurant since i was a baby. Now for me to not even want to eat here anymore is saying a lot. After today i wouldn't recommend anyone eating here let alone getting serviced by anybody in bodegas i am completely lost for anymore words.

Yelp
Parking is a challenge but there are some surface lots. I was leaving an appointment and noticed this place. When went in it was semi busy about 12ish lunch time. by the time I got my food it was busy. The did get my order wrong but it was a good wrong if that makes any sense. They gave me the same order twice. They did not charge me for it and I was like cool! the food was good which were fish tacos and I would recommend them. Price is high but eveything is high right now. It does have potential to attract eye candy and it may come in later in the day because they do have a bar.
google avatar

Sylvia S.

Yelp
Food is not that great no flavor in Mexican rice chicken or fajitas meat either. It's suppose to taste Mexican. Also these ppl charge a regular price if you just want a little extra since they are stingy with the at on just a taco bowl. Not friendly at all not even the cashier. First time there but will not eat there again, I give it a zero rate. They need a cook that knows how to cook.

Karla M.

Yelp
Ordered to go and due to my fault I picked up the food an hour later and yet it was still delicious. Their grilled tilapia was delicious as were the street tacos and burrito. And the yuca fries!!! Chefs kiss!
google avatar

Chen H.

Yelp
Probably the closest restaurant to the Natural History Museum. On the inside, it looked more like a small food court where there are a few small restaurants available. I ordered the Apollo taco combo, price is quite reasonable - consider the $15 cold tiny turkey clubs at the airport, this $12 combo is quite a steal! Everyone at the shop was friendly and helpful. I got my plate within 15 minutes or so, the only surprise is they give you a quarter chicken, meaning you have to DIY is into a taco, lol. Of course it is super generous in terms of size, but I have never seen a taco being sold like this before, so it was quite an interesting experience. Or maybe I misunderstood the menu? Overall great experience.

Yelp
Came by for happy hour after work! Got a marg and loaded nachos. Loved the queso and beans, some of the best nachos I've had. The portion size is huge too, plenty for 2 people to share! Will definitely be coming back.

Yelp
I love this place! Everything about it! EXCEPT THE MUSIC THEY PLAY! It's AWFUL! It's loud; obnoxious; stupid; does NOT cater to the local crowd! I'd go back more but the music keeps me away!!!!
google avatar

Reecha M.

Yelp
Been coming to bodegas for yearrrrs, it's a delicious Mexican food spot nestled in the museum district. They have to go margaritas which I love and masks use of allll the time. It's self service so the line moves quickly and the place is very cute on the outside! Their fajita chicken in particular is delicious

Monica ..

Yelp
Food was great. I was looking for something close to the Fine Art Museum & this fit the bill perfectly. Food was tasty & relatively fast. Not too expensive. Staff was very knowledgeable & helpful with the suggestions. This was very relaxing after a few hours of walking at the museum.

Yelp
This was a to-go order for lunch while I was at work. I believe this place is located inside Park Plaza Food - I ordered the #1Burger Royal. It came with a black bean hard shell taco. It was soggy by the time I ate it, but I won't hold that against them. The bun of the burger was really the best part of the meal. It looked like jalapeño bread. It was soft and really added to the taste of the burger. Maybe it's house made? The burger came plain, with just the meat, so I added my own fixxins. The fries were fine.

Yelp
I was super hungry and stopped by this Mexican restaurant and was glad I did. I'm a sucker for shrimp tacos and they were delicious. I washed it down with a modelo. The service was quick and the setup was nice. This place is extremely affordable.

Yelp
FIRST THINGS FIRST: This place has really good, I mean freaking delicious horchata! On top of that the food is bursting with flavor, so it's a win in my book. Bodegas is located in the Museum District. There is free parking on the street after 6pm or you can find a nearby parking garage. This makes for the perfect lunch/dinner spot if you are in the area. We weren't sure what we were getting ourselves into when we walked in. The ordering process was like Chipotle/Moes but the flavoring of their food was unique which surprised me the most. They have plenty of options from tacos, quesadillas, flautas, you name it. I went with a steak/chicken burrito and let me tell you that combination is out of this world. The meat was seasoned really well. All the toppings I out in it were fresh and just made it all the better. The employees were friendly and patient because we had no idea what we wanted to start out with. I was with a group and we definitely order a lot. The flan was just okay but I'm not the biggest fan of flan anyways, but the tres leches cake was tasty. If you're in the area I'd recommend stopping by.

Yelp
Good place for tacos when you're in the museum district! We stopped in yesterday for lunch after visiting HMNS and my fiancé and I liked it more than we expected. The fish was fresh and cooked upon order and the tacos came with a hefty portion of avocado. I forgot to take a photo of the side of plantains that we ordered that were also really good! It was a lot of good food for a good price. Nothing fancy, just delicious.

Yelp
The food was tasty and filling. It's good to see a taco shop that customizes your food and give nice healthy portions. The setting was family friendly, however the service was just ok. From the moment I ordered my food, the quality of service went down.

Yelp
Yuca fries are one of my favs and it comes with a good chimichurri sauce. The tacos comes in 3. You can get flour or corn tortillas. I like that they come with avocado. The shrimp tacos had about 4-5 medium shrimp so you're able to get a piece of shrimp with every bite. I do however think that their portion of rice and beans is very small. You order your food at counter and they give you a number and bring the food out to you.

Yelp
Food was excellent and reasonably priced. We had party of 16 (8 kids and 8 adults). Some were wanting mex and some pizza. Sergeo was very accommodating and allowed us to bring in pizza from Fia's Pizzaria next door, so that all could sit together. They are sister establishments. It was a good atmosphere and appreciated that we could all be together.

Yelp
This was my 2nd time coming here. I was a little disappointed. They really shake the spoon here especially on the meat. I barely had any meat on my nachos. I asked for a little more and was told that's a extra charge. I just let it go even though he barely gave me any fajita chicken it was mostly shreds and not the actual pieces. Other than that you basically have to tell them more of this or more of that to get your moneys worth. As you can see I made sure I had enough of everything else lol. The food taste was consistent as it was the first time I came here. Food is pretty decent and I love they have multiple sauce choices to choose from.

Yelp
Got food poisoning from here. Really confusing ordering system, only thing walkable from museums but try to avoid at all cost

Yelp
** First timer ** Not only was the staff friendly but the food was super fresh and really delicious. We got a quesadilla and nachos. We could only finish the quesadilla. The nachos were still really good the evening after and the next day (of course our chips were on the side so we could reheat the dip) I was skeptical at first because the dip looked like melted American cheese but it turned out to be really good! I'll definitely be back!
