Bodhi's Hideaway

What a fantastic vibe. Named after, and themed after the movie "Point Break". A much needed themed bar and style in South Austin. Great location. Huge deck, Tons of seating. Lots of fans to keep cool (and heaters). Two indoor areas to keep cool and play games. TV's everywhere. Staff is very friendly. The drink selection is the perfect beachy vibe. Rideshare is the best, worry free way to enjoy this place. Ask for a discount for doing rideshare! The food truck, Tacuties, is great. Located right next to the bar. They will even bring the food to you while you are sitting in the bar.

So, me and my friend were checking out bodhis, and while we were checking out the place my friend asked to use the bathroom, after he was done, a barhand said the bathrooms are only for paying customers. We just wanted to check out the place, I'll definitely not be going back. And I don't recommend anyone else going if you plan on getting harassed by getting forced to buy a drink to enter the place.

Are these all paid reviews or something? It was $15 for an old fashioned poured from a tap. They offered nothing from the drink menu on their own website

I hosted a party here and had an amazing experience! Quick responses, very helpful and accommodating. The drinks were delicious and the vibe was great. Everyone had a wonderful time and would definitely recommend for a casual hang or to host a party. Bonus: dog friendly

This place is tucked away in what appears to be a parking lot. I showed up on Tuesday and they were having karaoke. I love karaoke and KJ/DJ Campbell did not disappoint. I have been to a lot of karaoke and he is by far my favorite. He can find pretty much any song and the sound was amazing! I also would like to shout out to Kracker the bar tender. His craft is on point. I had a couple of cherry vodka sours and they did not disappoint. I've gone to other places and had it however these were very well made. What an amazing bartender! There is a food truck adjacent to the place that I didn't get to try out, however they seemed quite popular. Venue is outside.

tiki mixed with dive vibes. similar crew as SABG down the street. best bars in the area. Mari rules. Layla rules. Ash Rules. Rob runs the show and is masterful at it. Drive on by those other bars and straight on til morning.
