Bohemia

"If you’ve something special to celebrate, this marble-fronted restaurant inside The Club Hotel & Spa is the place to come – and cocktails in the bar are all part of the experience. It’s a chic place, where bright linen-clad tables stand out against dimly lit, dark wood walls. Eye-catching dishes offer natural, well-balanced flavours and an occasional hint of playfulness, while the chefs clearly understand how to use techniques to enhance rather than overshadow the fine produce. Pescatarians and vegetarians are well looked after." - Michelin Inspector

This is a must visit in Jersey. The only restaurant with a star and this is deserved! We had a four course meal with a full cheese course. Each course was a masterpiece and delicious. I cannot understand some of the other reviews: our service was perfect, with a nice sense of humour. What I can understand is, that the music from the bar was a bit loud and not what I would expect in a restaurant of this quality. But then - live and let eat.

The mushroom soup was amazing but the rest of the meal was below average. On the same level as a cheap takeaway. Plain fries, dry chicken with an OK salad. Bland and uninteresting. The service was above average.

100% recommend this bar & restaurant- every dish we had was superb 👌 lovely atmosphere for business and leisure. Staff are immaculate and exceptionally professional, polite and show respect to all customers. We have stayed at the adjoining hotel several times and cannot fault it, well managed. Lovely stay here 🙏🏼☺️ thank you

When we walked into the restaurant, we didn't have the warmest welcome which was a bit odd, however, it did improve once we sat down and the service was good throughout the meal. We fried the pescatarians tasting menu, since we have never seen one before and seafood in Jersey is supposed to be good. It certainly didn't disappoint! The seafood was fresh and very tasty. If you like seafood, I'd highly recommend this tasting menu. The first three amuse-bouche were excellent, especially the one with an oyster cream, The tomato dish was exceptional, the crab dish could probably do some different texture, but I love crab so that is still one of my favourite. The mackerel was very well seasoned, but the Halibut was unfortunately a bit overcooked. The pre-desseet was very refreshing, very soar which I like, and the dessert was very indulgence.

Food was reasonable (not sensational), presentation good, but the service poor. I've been to a few Michelin Star restaurants and I've always left blown away, with an amazing experience to remember... they're typically great value, justifying the high prices. At Bohemia, I felt cheated. Surely this can't be the best Jersey has to offer?

Stunning restaurant, well deserving of its Michelin star. Great set lunch menu and extensive drinks menu. Wines are reasonably priced for the level of restaurant.

It's Jerseys only Michelin star restaurant and is therefore the best restaurant on the island. Service was very good although they were missing our first choice of wine due to lack of delivery. The sommelier more than made up for this by letting us try a number of other wines free to accompany the rest of the meal and also served some great cocktails! The food was classical French cooked to a good standard with no thrills, just simple ingredients prepared with skill and served with elegance and a little table side finishing. The restaurant is comfortable and the atmosphere is pleasant although very quiet on our visit ( out of season). In our opinion it upheld its Michelin rating and we would highly recommend a visit if you're visiting Jersey.
