"This California-based hot pot chain is growing, now with five locations in the Seattle area. Here, diners choose from individualized hot pots that have a variety of broths and ingredients. The Taiwanese spicy version is great for extreme heat-seekers. Or, for something a little unusual, try the house special hot pot with stinky tofu so fragrant that it can be smelled anywhere in the restaurant when it’s ordered." - Jay Friedman

I like the beef one. The soup has a nice flavor, enough meat, a great amount of toppings, and not salty. I would say enough for two people (unless you eat big portions). Highly recommend the garlic pork belly, very tasty. Their steam vegetables, its just bok choy, it was good, but a bit too salty (sauce is pork based, just be aware). To note: they have lunch and dinner time and price varies. Lunch time ends at 3 pm, and they offer green or oolong tea (free, comes with lunch time). Service was a bit slow. Clean tables when I was there.

Google
tl;dr - It was better than I expected. I did not want hot pot but went there for my wife. It tasted better than the other place I tried before. They got hot pots in Chinese, Taiwanese, Thai, Korean, Japanese and Indian styles that actually tasted like the style (or at least the ones I tried did). The only complaint I had was that some ingredients did not taste very fresh. Another thing was that the table was too small my elbow hit my 8yo son's arm like 20 times.

Boiling Point in Edmond, WA: Bold Flavors Marred by Inconsistent Service Boiling Point offers a unique dining experience with a menu full of bold, inventive flavors that clearly resonate with adventurous eaters. My family of seven first visited nearly a year ago, drawn in by rave reviews and the promise of dishes that truly pack a punch. That initial experience left us so impressed with the Taiwanese Spicy, Miso, Korean Bean Paste, and Thai Tomato bowls that we even invited out-of-state relatives to join us on our return. Atmosphere and Seating Upon entering, you’re immediately struck by the eatery’s compact layout. On our first visit, we were seated at an awkward table tucked into the narrowest corner near the restroom and kitchen entry—a less-than-ideal spot that sacrificed comfort for necessity. For our second visit, we secured a table right in front of the door, which in warmer weather could provide a breezy ambiance; however, in the chillier months, it can feel uncomfortably drafty. With limited seating options, large groups might find themselves cramped or relegated to less desirable spots. The Food The standout at Boiling Point is undoubtedly the food. The robust and memorable flavors made such an impression during our first visit that they became the primary reason for our return. On our latest trip, we ordered a mix of bowls—including a plain miso broth for a child with dietary needs—intending to share across our table. The portions themselves are generous, and on a busy day, our first visit even included a fun surprise: staff letting us know we could ask them to “put out the flame” under our dish at any time, ensuring safety without sacrificing flavor. Upon our second visit it wasnt until we were nearly finished that we were able to alert the fact we needed our flame put out. Service and Communication Where Boiling Point stumbles, however, is in service. Despite a seemingly large staff, it can be exceptionally challenging to get anyone’s attention after the initial order is taken. Our second visit was marked by repeated calls for assistance that went unheeded, whether it was for extra services or the missing bowl of plain miso broth for the child—a request we made multiple times over an hour. This issue isn’t isolated; even during our first experience, a drink we ordered wasn’t served until the bill arrived. The noisy environment—characterized by shuffling chairs on tile floors and music cranked high—further complicates communication, especially for diners with hearing difficulties. Pricing Concerns Perhaps the most frustrating aspect of our return visit was the unexpected pricing. When the bill arrived, we discovered that the child’s bowl of plain miso broth was charged at full plate price—$26. This was a stark contrast to our expectations where we would have anticipated a charge in the $10–$16 range, especially considering the simplicity of the dish. The lack of clear communication about pricing policies left us feeling blindsided and disappointed. Final Thoughts Boiling Point undeniably excels in delivering creative, flavor-packed dishes that have the power to draw you back for more. However, the dining experience is currently undermined by issues with seating logistics, slow and difficult-to-access service, and unclear pricing practices. For those willing to overlook these shortcomings in pursuit of an innovative culinary adventure, Boiling Point may be worth a try. Still, diners with large groups, sensitivity to noisy environments, or concerns about dietary needs and service consistency might want to plan accordingly or look elsewhere.

Google
Solid place for personal hot pot. We always use tons of the garlic soy sauce for dipping. This location is usually busy but not too long of a wait. Depending on the pot you pick and add ons it can feed 2. It’s a decent deal if you can agree on a pot and just add on a thing or two, but it’s a bit pricey if you’re doing 2 pots. It’ll come out close to an ayce place.

Google
I had an amazing dining experience at Boiling Point! Our server, Benji, was incredibly attentive, providing excellent customer service throughout our meal. I ordered the beef medium with the meat lover upgrade and it was cooked to perfection—tender and flavorful. The portions were generous—easily enough to share between two people—and the food tasted just as delicious as I remembered from my last visit five years ago. The quality has remained consistent, and I can’t recommend this place enough for hot pot lovers. I’ll definitely be coming back!

### Review of Boiling Point Boiling Point has quickly become my wife’s go-to spot since our first visit. The place has a cozy and welcoming vibe that makes us feel right at home. The main attraction here is their Taiwanese hot pot, which comes in a bunch of different flavors to suit anyone's taste. What really stands out is the quality of the fresh ingredients and the rich, flavorful broths. Whether it’s pork, beef, seafood, or a vegetarian option, each one is aromatic and delicious. Every hot pot comes with a good mix of fresh veggies, mushrooms, and perfectly seasoned meats. My wife loves that you can customize your hot pot exactly how you like it. You can choose the spice level of the broth and add extra meat or veggies if you want. The service is also top-notch. The staff are always cheerful and attentive, making sure we have everything we need. Every time we go to Boiling Point, we have a great experience and delicious food. My wife calls it her favorite restaurant, and I totally agree. If you’re looking for a place with amazing food and a friendly atmosphere, you’ve got to check out Boiling Point.

Came here to celebrate a relatives birthday as we have had positive experiences here before. We were sat after a few minutes, but we were not greeted or acknowledged for over 15 minutes until we were able to get one of the servers attention since someone expressed our group should leave because of the long wait. The table that came in after us was helped and served before we were even able to place our order. I would understand if it was extremely busy, but it wasn’t. Food was extremely spicy for a level 1, given I’ve had the exact same beef soup before and it tasted completely different. The service felt extremely rushed as we were given the check quickly and the server was eager for us to get up quickly after paying. We also were not checked on, at all, during our meal. The service has gone severely downhill over the years, which is very disappointing. This was a big letdown for a birthday meal, especially since I had recommended we come here to the birthday person.

Google
Always satisfying for prepared/premade hotpot. This is what we consider as fast food! :) Good value for us as one pot is plenty for an adult and pre-teen. Service consistent throughout the 6 years of being a patron at this location. Not bad, not amazing but provides service as expected!

Yelp
Boiling Point offers consistent quality and fast service, making it a reliable spot for a quick mini hot pot fix. The cleanliness is medium, especially with the sauce containers and spoons, but it's generally acceptable. One nice touch is that the staff give free jelly at the end when you get your check, which is a pleasant way to finish your meal. Overall, Boiling Point is a solid place to satisfy your hot pot cravings without the hassle of making it at home or paying the higher prices at fancier restaurants. It gets the job done well enough for the price. I have never left feeling like it wasn't worth the time or money.

Ron W.

Yelp
Food is good but not quite overpriced. Meal for 2 can easily totally up to $70++. Highly recommended to dine in instead of taking out. Missing items and ingredient for takeout are quite common. If you have to do takeout, try to order standard hotpot and not customize the order too much.

Yelp
A good place to have flavorful and warm spicy soup in a rainy day. Came here at a Saturday evening, it was busy and we waited for about 15 minutes to be seated. Beef pot is my all time favorite (actually I haven't try other pot because I love it so much), I tried medium spicy this time and turned out too spicy for me. I'll stick with mild spicy next time. The best ingredient for me would be vermicelli because it really absorbs the flavor of the soup, drizzle a few drops of garlic soy sauce on it, you'll get a bowl of savory and comforting dish. The sliced beef is tender and soft too. Overall it is a super hearty meal. My boyfriend is vegetarian so he sticks with the only veggie pot, it could be a bummer if you're vegetarian but don't like mushroom since it's a mushroom oriented pot. I'm a mushroom lover so it's not a big deal for me. I feel like adding more variety of veggies such as tonghao, water spinach, konjac noodles and shredded potato to the vegetarian/vegan option would be nice too. Ginger boba milk tea is nice too, sweet and a tiny teeny tangy on the tongue, surprisingly it uses real ginger as there is fiber in there! The only thing I want to complaint is the music is too loud.

Yelp
We came for our friends birthday. We had a table of 8 and put our name on a list ahead of time. Initially they said it may be about an hour, but got our call within 15 minutes. It was an entertaining experience having the hot pot style, but the tables, chairs and layout, were pretty simple and reminded me of your typical Fast Food layout and feel. My husband and I shared our dish. We subbed the tofu for extra meat and added corn on the side. We ordered spicy, but ended up needing to add more spice. While the food was delicious, in looking at the pictures on yelp I feel I was expecting a fuller dish with more noodles. We were kind of disappointed when getting to the end and not having more noodles. I am not sure if that is the usual amount and we would have needed to order extra. Staff were nice, patient, and accommodating with our large group and brought out the food as it was ready. One suggestion we had was around labeling. We had a couple friends who ordered the same dish, but at different spice levels and believe theirs may had been switched.

Yelp
Boiling Point in Edmonds offers a cozy atmosphere with a menu full of diverse and flavorful hot pot choices. I opted for the Taiwanese Spicy hot pot, which was perfectly creamy and spicy, complemented by fresh ingredients. The service was prompt and courteous, contributing to a pleasant dining experience. The restaurant's cleanliness and the thoughtful presentation of the food were impressive. With fair prices, Boiling Point stands out as an excellent destination for both hot pot enthusiasts and newcomers alike, promising a memorable and authentic meal. I'm eagerly looking forward to my next visit!

Yelp
I've been going to Boiling Point for a few years now, and I've been consistently satisfied with their hot pot. They are very consistent and it hits the spot when you want something warm and filling. I got the Beef hot pot -- everything was great, though I wish there was a bit more meat in the order.

John O.

Yelp
We love Taiwanese hot pot. Since the pandemic took its toll, there aren't too many choices anymore. The AYCE places aren't a good fit for us because we are relatively small eaters and sharing one pot is enough for us. The Boiling Pot is just the ticket for us. Their lineup offers seven pre-made combinations of broth, vegetables, meats, seafood, tofu, and noodles. They have a good variety of add-ons to order, and a large, attentive staff that will happily keep your pot filled with fresh broth. Hot Pot is the perfect antidote for a Seattle winter day.

Lizzy L.

Yelp
Hot pot on a cold rainy day is an absolute must! If you love hot pot and are looking to have your own pot of delicious, simmering broth with a generous portion size, head over to Boiling Point! I got the spicy beef hot pot which had plenty of beef, several types of tofu, vermicelli, fish balls, Napa cabbage, and corn! You will need to choose a spice level. I went with 3 (out of 4) and it was definitely the right amount of spice. You also get a complimentary serving of rice or noodles and a generous amount of delicious garlic sauces that I recommend dipping the meats into. Also recommend getting the tea drinks here - they have boba! Service was relatively fast, though we had a group of 12, so we had to wait for half an hour for a table. Ambience is lively and bright and they blast fun music here. There is ample parking which is a bonus

Yelp
What better way to sooth the winter blues than with a nice hot pot? This was probably my 6th visit to Boiling Point at this and the international district location. There are no paper menus so you must scan the QR code taped to the edge of the table. I usually order the beef broth with no spice but decided to try the house special with mild spice instead. My dining partner got the beef broth with mild spice since he is not a big fan of tofu and pig intestines. The pots arrived promptly. My was perfect with just enough kick. We can see the chili oil on the rims of the beef broth; hubby said it burned his mouth. His was way too much heat for being mild. Unlike me who would have immediately sent it back, he decided to suck it up but complained the entire time! I enjoyed my hot pot; their dipping sauces were delicious. Service was reactive instead of proactive. We had to flag a server down for more water, napkins, broth, and to extinguish our burners. The only exception was the check; it was slapped onto the table with no comment. No "how was everything?", "Thank you" or "We can take care of your check when you're ready" - zip nada nothing. Yet tipping starts at 18%... I love hot pot so have not completely swore off BP. It sure would be nice if service can be improved.

Chelsea L.

Yelp
Can't ever go wrong with boiling point. Rain or shine, when we are in the mood for soup, BP is a reliable go to spot. The miso large option is great for two people and never fails to satisfy our cravings.

Yelp
I have LOVED coming to boiling point back when they opened a long time ago. There is an experience I had today that made me change my mind. The food is amazing, but the service made me mad. I guess at this location you're not allowed to go to the bathroom without someone putting trash into your food? What makes the situation worse is the worker asked someone in my party if we were ready for the table to be cleaned up, and they said it wasn't ready because I still needed to put my food in the To-go box. As I'm following the worker to my table, I sit down and find trash in my food. (Keep in mind it was the most full bowl at the table, and had an empty to-go box next to it with the digestive snack next to it as well). Why would you ask if the table is ready to clean up if you already started? It's one thing not to ask, I would totally understand. But to ask after you already started bothered me. I didn't even touch my food and they simply put all the trash at my table into my bowl. The supervisor was very kind, and gave me a free to-go for this inconvenience. But still frustrating and upsetting to see your food full of trash, and an empty to-go box next to it. I recommend going to the bathroom before you're ready to pay, because they'll just treat your meal like it like a trash can.

Melanie B.

Yelp
My BF and I had our first experience at the Boiling Point today! Brenna our waitress was so patient with us and our many questions we had being first timers!!! The food was amazing so many flavors in the broth, everything we ordered was so good!! We had an awesome first time experience!!!

Richard D.

Yelp
I always enjoy coming here but its kinda of a place you have to keep your guard up with. When I have ordered to go I seem to get skimpy portions and sometimes its missing items. If you ask for extra broth they will say no and try to charge you even if you to go portion it small. This trip I ordered Beef Hot Pot and got a portion of fatty beef. I had to send it back. I wanted beef hot pot not a fatty beef. Now I call and ask if the beef is fatty beforehand to make sure it's leaner. Its still very tender and doesn't need to be full of fat. If your planning to take some to go make sure you ask for more broth first or they will try to change you for extra broth

Alan Z.

Yelp
Ordered the korean bean paste and it tasted good but I don't think the portion size is that good. Was barely any meat but everything else was pretty good. Service was quick and they weren't busy on a weekday for lunch.

Ava M.

Yelp
The food was good, delicious and the portions were big, but the ambiance of the place was mehhh. It smelled like gas because of the hot pots and also all the curtains were closed. I would go back if I'm really craving hot pot but not going to be a regular customer.

Megan L.

Yelp
This place is always a staple when we are craving pre-made hotpot. I always go back and forth between getting the beef pot, lamb pot and spicy Taiwanese pot. All three are delicious and come out so fast! We also get the cumin lamb appetizer which is a great starter and addition to our hotpot meals. Their drinks are equally delicious, the honey green tea is my favorite in particular. The jasmine green tea flavor with the slight sweetness from the honey makes this drink so addictingly refreshing. Service is always fast and the staff is very accommodating to our needs, love coming to this Edmonds BP location!

Amanda N.

Yelp
Small so not recommended for large parties caue wait time could ve long. Prices went up and portions went down. The hot pot got smaller. Place was quite cold, Lots of parking

Natassia S.

Yelp
Came here for the first time and not really the best first impression. The place smelled like a wet towel and just felt really dirty. Our seats were wet and just didn't feel sanitary. Hot pot was ok but not appetizing and have no plans to return.

Howard W.

Yelp
My wife and I shared a large hotpot and lamb dish for lunch. The pot comes boiling, pre-loaded with food. Brought with an alcohol burner to keep it boiling. The food was good. Place was 4/5 full, mostly Chinese people. The restaurant was well staffed with several employees moving around doing things. Service was good, but a bit odd. Upon arrival, we were faced with a sign telling us to sign up on their automated queue, and saying they would text when a table was available. We looked around at the empty tables and the employees walking around but not greeting us, wondering if they really wanted us to sign in the automated system. Eventually we did. After that a guy came to seat us. No text. Then 5 or so minutes later he came by and asked about my phone number. I confirmed that the number in the queue was mine and then he left. We were not provided with a menu nor was there one at the table. An adjacent empty table had a card with a link to the web menu, so we snatched that to figure out what we wanted. Then we looked around for a waiter. There is a clearly labeled place at the counter for placing take out orders, and I spent a couple of minutes wondering if I was supposed to go there to order before the waiter arrived to take our order in the customary fashion. The wait was not inordinately long, just the idiosyncrasies kept me unsure about how to navigate the system. Should not be an issue second time around.

Crissey Y.

Yelp
6 years later from my original review and this place is still going strong! They've changed some of their menu items over the years. I must say that my family and I must have Boiling Point at least once a month or every other month and they got us through the lockdown of Covid. Tried and true! I added one more star for their outstanding customer service! Thank you.

Tet M.

Yelp
Always love their soup. The best hot pot and also try their garlic pork belly! They can also give you free soup refill

Generous Y.

Yelp
Consistent. However they're always busy (or maybe slow) which means wait times are also consistent. Consistently long and slow. Boba is mid but hotpot is always a warm, hearty, comfort meal. You get rice or vermicelli with each pot which is definitely a bonus as other places might require you to buy those separate. Tasty, high quality sauces at each table. Pots come with a variety of everything so you get a balanced meal. Their spiciness levels aren't a joke either. Boba again, is pretty bad. The topping itself is on the firmer side. Liquid is fine but it's pretty much comparable to any regular tea or boba spot around.

Alan M.

Yelp
It's was a new and fun experience. We had a large group and they were able to accommodate all of us. Soup was good, mine was very spicy and I really couldn't taste anything else. I was nice they had broth to lessen the spiciness. We also celebrated a birthday and had cake. They were nice enough to provide small plates and forks.

Patricia T.

Yelp
I really really really love this place! The soups they offer are amazing! The servers are always nice and friendly and very attentive! WARNING! Do not use their online ordering! I placed an order online. Picked it up and after an hour at home I realized they gave me 1 wrong soup out of the 3 I ordered. It was also spicy (I always get mild) so I couldn't just eat it. I called to get a refund (I live in Bothell so not easy on a Friday to just go back there) but they had to void something on their end and then I could email somewhere and explain the situation and then someone would get back to me. That is WAY too complicated for something that could be managed way easier! Moral, don't order online and trust that the order will be correct. Check before you leave the store!!! Very disappointed and still hungry!!!

Shana L.

Yelp
Almost came here twice this week, no joke. It's just so good! My husband and I get the same thing every time. I get the Korean bean paste and he gets the milk cream curry. We get it both in medium spice level with rice on the side. It never fails me when I want some comfort food. Service is always quick and everyone is always nice. I haven't had to wait in long lines recently which has been a plus! We love this place!

Susan H.

Yelp
The food is pretty consistent in all locations. I used to prefer coming here over the downtown location but the service from my most recent visit makes me want to think again. I came here with my sister right when they opened on Saturday. The servers gave us the option to sit at a table further away from the other patrons which we took but regret. We were maybe the fourth table there and although the workers kept looking at our table, they took more than 15 minutes to greet us/take our order. In fact, the restaurant filled up pretty quickly and we watched almost all the tables get their food and drinks before us. In addition we had to ask for our sides & water multiple times . We are generally lenient when it comes to service (we both worked in the food industry) but this was disappointing. I hope this was just an off day.

Angel N.

Yelp
I came on a Monday afternoon and it was relatively fast to get a table. Plenty of dinning space. I had never done a hot pot but for my first experience it wasn't too bad! I myself ordered the Beef Hot Pot, Milk Cream Curry and as an appetizer the garlic beef. They all were good and did not disappoint. Perfect food for the cold weather. The waiters were also constantly walking around making sure we were satisfied with everything.

Kevin T.

Yelp
Highlight: GREEN TEA! I hear the black tea is also really good mmm - if I come back for nothing else, it is to try the black tea Tip: complimentary for lunch ($1 extra for upgrade size - easy bet) vs separate for dinner Overall the lunch was good and, as this was my first time, I'd definitely come back to try other broth bases. While I liked the flavor of the House Special broth, I felt I was missing the customizability of the sauces that elevate the hot pot flavors and experience to another level. The quality of the ingredients/toppings was decent with tofu and taro leading the way and the random raw tomato slice picking up the end. Additionally, the slices of beef tasted bland and had an overcooked chewy texture Given the portion size (ymmv) and price point, this isn't a deal breaker for me

Evy S.

Yelp
Double check your bill when you pay separately, because when you hit that % button you are paying tips for the entire table, we almost paid more than 50% tips tonight. How long have they been doing that? We don't know, how many people have they tricked? We don't know, but this is WRONG We asked the check separately on the table, they said that we can come to register and pay separately. So we went to the register and the cashier Lisa didn't say a word to us until we gradually figured it out and started to question her, she then claimed it's the system's problem but she had already fixed it, but did she? Who knows because we don't trust her anymore. On top of that, this Lisa clearly hates her job, she talks to her customers like a mom educating their kids, roll her eyes, blame customers instead of saying sorry, this type of behavior makes me wonder the integrity of this restaurant, if you are doing this to every customer, you are making your extra money in a shady and illegal way! Shame on you boiling point! *see picture for manually put in tip by the manager but the receipt still suggests tip for entire table even when my total is $45

Maura M.

Yelp
I've been coming to this particular location for months and THEY ALWAYS GO ABOVE! I never leave unsatisfied. All the pots are delicious! I recommend eating at the restaurant vs ordering to go. (The one time I ordered to take out; it just wasn't the same. Still delicious though!) I am not a big spicy food fan, but the 1 level spice is always delicious! I recommend coming for lunch special because you choose a free green/black tea.

Jiayi S.

Yelp
BP is always a good time! The service was fast and the food is pretty good for the price.

Linda D.

Yelp
My partner got the beef implied he rate it 4.5/5 I got the Taiwanese hot pot. If it was a tad bit spice here, I would not be able to enjoy it. But love spicy!

Willie F.

Yelp
I love Boiling Point. Going there or getting it take out or even DoorDash it's all been a great experience. Can't really go wrong eating here for dinner on a cool Fall day. My go to hot pot is the curry milk flavored medium spicy. Just be aware that medium is pretty spicy for those wondering. It has thinly sliced pork, corn, fish balls, vermicelli, imitation crab, and all kinds of other stuff.

Latifa S.

Yelp
Yumm yumm!!! Boiling fun. My first boiling point experience: better late than never I supposed. Also indoor dining!! I braced myself for it, totally worth it. Though I was on a time crunch: in and out in 30 minutes. With all the boiling, steaming and spicy fun. Not bad at all. A lot of food but not bad at all. Menu is simple/ they have 10 different soups. 3 are larger sizes. Spices and toppings varies. Also the flavors! I went with Beef spicy/ spicy beef with Very Spicy hot level. It's the hottest next to their flaming hot! Next time, I'm getting flaming hot! The sauces came out first. I didn't know what they were. Someone came to explained to me later on what to do / how to eat them :D Basically combine some in a bowl and dip your meat/ veggies in. Duh! So easy. The soup came prefilled and I guess precooked at least for the meat part. I got the #4 Beef hot soup and it has Napa cabbage, Vermicelli,Sliced beef, Enoki,Tomato, Tofu,Tempura Corn,MeatBall,Fish Cake, tofu skin, Crab stick! It's loaded. They do refill soup if you ask but from what I saw was just hot water refill. Not sure if I'm supposed to ask for a soup refill? But it was enough food. Overall, I was in and out in 30 minutes with cooking the hotpot and eating! I came in between time around 4:30 pm ( dinner menu), it was full but lines out the door when I left at 5 pm. Prices are pretty reasonable too. I just didnt know when to ask for the stove to be off or ya know, how to use 3 different sauces or how long do keep the pot boiling. But rookie stuff. Looking forward to coming back and trying more- Flaming hot spicy!! Oh yea, the steam! Super spicy steam. It's kind of like a free facial.

Yelp
Hubby and I wanted to try hotpot and saw BP on our drive while in Edmonds. It was super busy for a hot day, but we waited patiently as it seemed quite popular. The place was clean and casual. Seemed like a popular place. Service: When our turn came, our host brought us in but kept walking to the kitchen. We eventually figured out that the empty table she walked by was for us when she walked into the kitchen area. We probably should have done our homework before coming in too, because we didn't notice the 4x4 menu with a QR code that was tethered, hanging from the edge of our table. While we waited, 2 different waiters came by giving us orders that weren't ours. No big deal. Food: We each placed our own orders that had preset types of veggies/meats/soup flavors. There is a long list of available add-ons as well. You each have a mini stove right in front of you that they set your soup on so it stays HOT while you eat. Hubby loved this part, since he likes his soup boiling! We also got free iced teas, sweetened and unsweetened. It was a little uncomfortable to eat, as there were frequent sparks coming out from underneath my bowl, but maybe I'm also just too short for my seat All in all, 3 stars for good flavors, quick turn-around and simple, casual atmosphere. Docked for confused or uncommunicative waiters, but hey, I get it that there are busy days. I'll re-rate if/when I have another opportunity to visit again, but probably not anytime soon. I prefer the traditional way of keeping my food items fresh and dropping a quick boil when I'm ready to eat it.

Mia Z.

Yelp
Boiling point is a very good place for hot pot if you are looking for 1. Personal pot instead of big and commingle style. 2. Wanna try interesting flavors than just the traditional ones. 3. keep the cost low I personally like boiling point for all the reasons above. I usually get the spicy beef pot with some add on's. They are decently spicy too so be careful when you order. During lunch time, you get a green tea or black tea for free. You have the option of adding boba for 75 cents more.

Yelp
So, first of all, THIS IS THE BEST FOOD OF ALL TIME!!! I personally love beef flavoured broth. Second of all, The service is amazing! They tell us if our table is coming soon and they always rush over when we try to get their attention. They are also very polite.

Yelp
Check you bill. I came here for lunch on 7/16 and ate alone. When I asked for my bill, it was shown that a 20% tip was preselected to add to my total bill. It's a shame that business here is dishonest.

Yelp
Yummy, unctuous soups, helpful service. It's a tad pricey, but good value for the money. These orders mostly last two meals for us. Except sometimes it's just too good and we're too hungry.

Yelp
My wife and I make a weekly trip to this spot in Edmond, and every other week we head to the Tukwila location. They've got something special going on with their Taiwanese soup - it really hits the mark, because we're both hooked on the flaming hot level. Our go-to additions are pork intestines and bok choy, adding a touch of green to dish to make it look healthy lol. When it comes to drinks, I'm not too particular and usually go for their green tea or black tea.

Yelp
I thought I rated this location already, I guess not. They took some stuff off the menu, but still everything was delicious including the sauce. They now added a few extra add ons such as for lunch $1 more to upgrade your free tea or double to meat. So far my favorite one is the house combo #1. The best part about it is the intestines and stinky tofu. The environment was laid back and the service was quick and friendly. Been here a few times and haven't had to wait to be seated like the one in downtown Seattle at all. Also ordered the Taiwanese combo and it was also delicious. Recommend this location.

Yelp
I was pleasantly surprised at how delicious and flavorful the hot pot was here! I've only ever had hot pot at home so this was my first time having it at a restaurant. I got the house special which had the basic veggies and meat with a light but flavorful broth. I got vermicelli noodles instead of the rice and got the free iced green tea with lunch which was so yummy! I had decided I would be back for more after my 3rd bite! The only small complaint was that we waited a good 20 mins after we were seated for our order to be taken and had to flag down a waitstaff.

Yelp
Went to eat lunch yesterday at 1130. It was already packed inside. I ordered the korean bean paste 3 stars with the only veggies I wanted to be kimchi and zucchini. 15 min later it comes out only having meat, kimchi, and zucchini. I was super confused where the noodles and all the fish cakes, fish tofu, fish fillet , lobster fish ball were at. They first bring me noodles. and I had to tell them to look in my soup as there was so much more missing then just noodles. So they take back my pot and put everything in it. I put the noodles in it. The fish was raw!!! They said it will cook in a few minutes. Mind you it is not hot enough to cook the fish. I waited 5 min to start eating it. Fish still raw the noodles never fully cooked. I had horrible stomach ache still today too. They did give me an extra tea. But not worth what I paid for and the stomach ache and diarrhea for 2 days so far.

Yelp
Love boiling point and I always feel full and satisfied after a meal. I usually order the beef or korean. Usually boiling point doesn't have great service but this location is friendlier and the servers are more attentive.

Yelp
The food and service are great! Be careful about asking for spicy dishes because they are ARE very hot and make you cough uncontrollably and you tear up and get a runny nose if you're not used to extremely hot dishes. I don't like that some of the dishes are made with pork blood! We don't eat the blood of any animal . Be sure you know exactly what ingredients they put in your dish before you order. The ambience is clean and you can sit down and eat, it's usually crowded here . If your soup starts boiling ask for the server to put out the flame before you burn yourself.

Yelp
Food was okay. What's not okay is the fact that they said the second milk tea it's going to be 50% off but they charged me the full price for both anyways! That's just straight up lying and unethical! Be careful when you eat here and check your bill!

Yelp
Grabbed lunch on a Saturday morning with a friend right when they opened. I've been to BP all throughout Washington. This location is good because it is usually less crowded than other locations in ID or Bellevue. Got my usual curry fish ball with no cream. Just a heads up...their spice levels are definitely hotter than other places. Their mild is quite spicy! I get "no spice" in my curry fish ball, and it has a mild spice to it haha. BP complimentary tea is also clutch for lunch. I enjoy upgraded mine to a large for an extra $1. It has just the perfect amount of sweetness and tea taste. Great lunch spot!

Yelp
Food was great and very tasty. A fun environment and family style dining. Servers were really on point and we got checked on a lot which was nice even though they were really busy it was nice to see you weren't just forgotten. Good job.

Yelp
Very busy and pretty loud restaurant. The seating is a little crowded inside. I was not really expecting that each entree is basically premade pots. Thankfully if you don't want something in the pot, you can ask for it not to be put in. Very cool concept because it makes it easier for everyone including the cooks and servers. I prefer AYCE more. It's very cool that each dish comes with its own pot and a flame on the bottom. What I had a problem with was when the server came to put the food on the table, he placed my dish in front of my toddler with a fire on the bottom!!! There was plenty of room to place it in front of me! It is definitely not family friendly because of all the noise and music. Don't get me wrong I would have enjoyed the vibe with my friends, but not with my baby. There was barely any meat in the pots. So if you had gotten no veggies like my friend had gotten you would either want to pay extra for meat or get a pot with barely anything in it. Some of the broth weren't as tasty. We left the place hungry. Someone mentioned the ice teas and I got that. That was surprisingly good. As I mentioned before, definitely wouldn't recommend for a family friendly outing.

Yelp
This hotpot chain is embarrassing. They constantly miss items and you can clearly tell they do not care about their product. I got a total of four bowls. One bowl, all the meat was clumped together, which means they just grabbed it and threw it in without separating the meat at all. So basically im biting into a chink of meat instead of slices. One dish missed the I love BP fish cake.... Like really?? Another one the udon looked burnt. If it wasnt burnt then i have no idea why it was dark brown. Each bowl was overly crowded with cabbage... Like insane amount of cabbage. I keep telling my wife to stop ordering from this location as the workers clearly do not care. This isn't the only location that simply sucks. This chain is goong downhill, clearly focusing on profits and not the food.
