There was no wait as I arrived before the dinner rush. But the service is lackluster, the staff doesn’t really pay attention to the tables. They don’t really come up to you until you call them over or if they’re doing their routine soup refills or bringing your pot over. So I had to wave them over for anything I needed - more napkins, water, and even to order my food. I’ve come to BP many times and have enjoyed the House Special, Beef, and Lamb hot pots but this time - I decided to try the Korean Bean Paste. It’s not that great. The soup was lacking in flavor.

I visited on a Tuesday afternoon for lunch, and the place was surprisingly empty. One highlight of going there during lunchtime is the complimentary green/ black tea they offer. Normally, I go for the beef pot, but this time I decided to switch things up and try the milk cream curry pot. I was pleasantly surprised by how delicious it was, even though its appearance wasn't the most appealing. The sea salt cream in the broth really worked wonders. Service was efficient, and the staff was friendly. Street parking is widely available, and you might get lucky enough to find a spot right in front of Boiling Point.

Amazingly fast and friendly service. Although you do find yourself sitting with an empty glass from time to time. Just grab anyone. They are all very happy to help! The flavors were delicious and the food was popping hot. The garlic pork belly was really delicious but perhaps to much garlic and I mean barely. I’d order it and finish it again! Both broths were full of flavor but my brisket/beef fell way short compared to the original. The flavors coming out of that bowl were like ratatouille explaining the cheese and grapes combination to his brother. Just wow.

Management needs to improve here!!! It's pretty ridiculous with the long line waiting outside and then with so many empty tables inside at the busiest time at noon. Although there are empty seats and tables set up, guests are still not asked to be seated. Had a candid conversation and asked the host and her explanation was that the kitchen can't handle this much..... Hm okay.... So I guess it's better to have people standing and waiting starring at empty seats than letting people sit down.

Google
Food was amazing, high quality ingredients at a great price. 20ish a person with drinks, and a serving size requiring a to go box is a great deal. Super clean inside, and the staff is great. They noticed our table wobbling and offered to move all our food to a different table. Highly recommend

Google
Food is good, went mid day for breakfast wait was an hour, at least they did it through cell so you can wait in your car. Once we got our food it was genuinely boiling hot I couldn’t eat it in comfort. The stools are tiring no back support, free tea is nice but not enough to make up the 20$ a bowl. Service was meh, they never checked in on us didn’t ask for another drink or refill so get ready to raise your hand to ask for service. By the end of it we had to ask for the check twice since the person we asked completely forgot it. Foods good just go when it’s not busy and not budget friendly.

When there’s 4 ppl seats, the waiter put one person to sit at where can seat 4. And asked us to wait for 30 minutes. When I suggested if we could switch and get every one seated, and the waiter said oh don’t worry, there’s another table will be ready soon, they are already getting their checks. Then I was like oh ok sounds good. I asked if we can order now and get our food ready by the time the table gets ready, because last time we waited 30 minutes to get our food ready. The waiter said no you can’t. Then manager engaged to the conversation, so I repeated. The waiter thought I don’t understand Chinese Mandarin, he told his manager in Mandarin, they only 12 minutes tsk, they didn’t wait that long. I told him I do understand Mandarin. The manager couldn’t solve the problem. Told me if we order after we get seated, the food will be ready in 10 minutes. The table which the waiter said will leave soon stayed for another 30 minutes. We ordered the food after we seated. The food didn’t come as promised in 10 minutes. The waiter got wrong order even we repeated our orders more than three times… If you have enough patients then I guess you can continue come here If not, you’ll be so pissed and ruined the whole day mood by this horrible services.

The broth was great, the food was tasty and the honey black milk tea was awesome. I would go again and try a different variety bowl w/ rice this time. Come and eat tasty filling food

Yelp
The staff here was so kind! For context, their credit card machine was down, so my girlfriend and I asked the staff if we could walk to the bank across the road to grab some cash. They gave us permission, and we went out to the bank so we can pay and give tip. Before we left for the bank, we weren't done with our food, and we asked the waiter if he could give us a takeout container. We didn't pack up the food because we thought the food would still be there by the time we return. Unfortunately, once we came back from the bank, the staff cleaned up our table along with our leftovers, and my girlfriend and I were a little flustered. We weren't mad because our food was 80% done, but I did speak up on it. They felt bad and made us new bowls to go to which we didn't expect at all. 10/10 service ^_^ . We really appreciate the staff's kindness.

Yelp
Hotpot is great, but the tofu was not and the milk tea was too sweet. My partner and I came by for a quick bite. We ordered the Beef option (#4) as our main dish, alongside a side of spicy fermented Tofu and the Fresh Milk tea. The hotpot was delicious. The spice level was just right for me, and broth was of good body and flavor. All the ingredients mixed beautifully with this broth and none too overcooked. I thought I was getting a simple appetizer when ordering the tofu, but boy was I wrong. As soon as the tofu arrived at our table, I could smell the pungent aroma of stinky tofu I dislike. The moment I bit into the tofu, I confirmed my fear. I would not have ordered this had I known this was stinky tofu. The server made no effort to indicate what this was, and the restaurant's naming was misleading. Every other non chain Chinese restaurant I have been to has made it explicitly clear when Stinky Tofu is an option. This is in the context of spicy tofu being a regular appetizer I order at other restaurants. Disappointing. The milk tea was too sweet. This is more our fault I suppose for not specifying a sweetness level, though this is sweeter than most boba I drink at 100% sugar. All in all, good at it's core offering but not the rest.

Yelp
This Boiling Point has gone through so many changes, from the menu to the interior ever since my first visit over 10 years ago. I will just focus my review on the most recent dining experience. This is my first time at BP ever since they updated their menu to have more meats per serving. I usually would have been able to finish my portion in one meal, but now that there are more meats, I can take half to-go. As always, whichever the spiciness level you ordered, it will still depend on whoever added those chilis for you, as the scale varies. They gave us a new QQ flavor at the end. It's a passion fruit one and it's a big NO NO. It tasted like soap. The usual lemon one is so much better! I always loved the branding and design of BP, and I have to give them a compliment on this Mother's Day concept. They have origami papers and instructions for people to fold hearts. It's really cute and people can self-entertained while waiting for their food. -- I finished 2 paper cranes, regular and tiny sized, before my food came. That's how long it took. @tableformin

Yelp
I've dined at this location multiple times now. This Boiling Point has become my go to because there is no wait time for dinner on week days. Yay! Service is better here too- they always refill my water and the wait time for my hot pot is reasonable. The beef is my go to and it's a lot of food, great value! I'm also a big fan of their sauces- the garlic chili oil is the best one. For all those meat lovers, they are providing double meat options now!

Jeanie L.

Yelp
Came here for lunch around the time they open so it wasn't crowded. We were seated right away, but I was confused on the lack of menu until I realized the menus are a QR code that hangs from the bottom of the table. I would've appreciated if the staff pointed that out to me. The bf and I ordered a beef bowl and the holy cow to share. They're doing a promotion for ayce rice and double meat so the portion was perfect to share. I'm knocking off a star because of service. The restaurant is pretty small, so it doesn't make sense to me how the staff doesn't pay attention to the tables. I had to wave at them to get my order taken and to get the bill.

Yelp
Came here with my family and we each got our own hotpot. It's safe to say that these are throughly filling and each order comes with a side of complimentary rice or vermicelli noodles. I do think that all of the soups also come with noodles inside already. We got the curry, beef, and Taiwanese spicy. Their sauces were good, we especially liked the garlic chili. Service was quick when needed but they don't check up on you. There was a good amount of seating inside but man was it cold. We could see our breaths from talking! I truly think this might be part of the boiling point experience because when we got our food, everything looked steaming and eating the soup warmed you up. Overall, this hotpot spot is pretty standard. It wasn't bad but it also wasn't much to write home about. Parking is street parking.

Miranda T.

Yelp
This is my local BP, so I often eat here or grab it for takeout! Today was a takeout day, and some things to know about this BP: -Parking has always been difficult. It's just street parking (if you're lucky) and if I am doing takeout, I sometimes park in the market parking lot, but I would not park here for an extended period of time. -Service at this BP is nothing special compared to the others. They're a little nicer and patient here, but sometimes workers seem like they don't know what they're doing. -I like the intimacy of this BP compared to the others! The overall space is a little smaller, but the ambiance is well spaced out and like any other BP. As for my takeout, -My hot pot and drinks were ready by the allotted time, which is great, especially if you're in a rush. However, my green tea was not filled all the way, which was annoying. -It gets a bit awkward at times to pick up the food due to having to walk through the entire space to ask a server for a takeout order. Overall, my food still tasted yummy, but BP is definitely a hit or miss when it comes to service unfortunately.

Yelp
Perfect warm soup for a chilly winter day. Boiling point is always an amazing time because of their incredible garlic based bean/soy/chili sauces. They recently also added a dry spice blend that tastes like something from a skewer restaurant. They're also doing a promotion for ayce rice and double meat with any hot pot which is an amazing deal!

Anny O.

Yelp
Medium spicy beef 5/5 - this is always my go to at bp. It was my first time coming back since they increased their prices but I like how they add more beef to the bowl and not just increase their prices. Veggies and everything else I would say is the same amount

Robert L.

Yelp
I've gone to a handful of Boiling Points. They tend to all be the same with service being a hit or miss, while the food is prepackaged from their warehouse and reheated to be served to customers. This is the first time I've gone since the new price increase. Food was on point, I got the volcano spice for my spicy beef. I wasn't super impressed with their service cause we asked a few times to checkout. Overall, good food. Service meh. Smaller location though and limited parking. So expect a wait!

Nancy C.

Yelp
She got hook from this hotpot trying to do riffle but didn't know we have to put receipt in the dasher box Food is good not a lot of food just enough for a light eater.

Cadence C.

Yelp
Yum! Ordered the beef mild pot for a later dinner, and it was delicious! Soup was great.

Sandy C.

Yelp
We are back for the double meat, ayce rice, free drinks promotion. We come here all the time, the OG San Gabriel location was my go to but it seems permanently closed, so we are now resorted to Monterey Park location. The restaurant is smaller so the seating is more crowded, we felt more intimate with our neighbors. This place serves single serving hot pot being heated while you enjoy, so you get to enjoy the boiling food. It's very nostalgic for me since I grow up on this. It's perfect for a raining day, warm food with their fabulous dipping sauces. If you are craving for some soul warming food, this is the time to go before the promotion ends! My friend and I had beef pots, again, our go to order. Although I highly doubted if mine was true the "Hot" spice level I ordered, it barely had any spice. Service was average but I understand it was a busy night with the promotion. Will always come back especially during cold winter nights.

Rom H.

Yelp
Wow love it how empty it was when we arrived here! That doesn't sounds too good lol but for a hungry customer, i don' t like waiting. Seated, ordered, got my food. Perfect. I was in the area, and i got my hotpot on my bday!

Serena H.

Yelp
This time at Boiling Point, the attitude of the waitstaff was not very friendly. When I sat down, I noticed that the utensils were not clean and I wanted to request a replacement set. The server had a very unpleasant expression, as if I had made some unreasonable request. During the meal, the waitstaff often left customers waiting on the side while a group of them chatted happily in the kitchen. When I wanted to order more soup, I waved my hand for a long time, but no one came. It also took a long time for someone to come when I wanted to pay the bill.

Yelp
Location in Alhambra is quite small so recommend avoiding peak hours but food is always super consistent. My favorite is the milk cream curry hotpot, mild. Even the mild has a bit of a kick, though I personally cannot handle a lot of spice to begin with. However, definitely recommend being conservative here as the difference between mild and medium can definitely be the difference between enjoying the perfect meal on a cold day to sweating profusely, in which I cannot thoroughly enjoy my food. Food is served very quickly and hotpot is lit in front of you. Service here could be better, I've always had to ask for refills on drinks and water but still decent. A great place to dine on a cold day when you're in the mood for something hot.

Cha L.

Yelp
I don't know why but this BP seems to taste better than the rest of the BPs. I'm so in love with their garlic chili and garlic soy sauce. The staff here is helpful and try to be attentive to your needs. The ask for soup refills whenever they see our pots low. The check took a while but other than that they were very nice to accommodate to our large party. It's a bit dim in here and it kinda gets tiring.

Destiny C.

Yelp
The food is always delicious. I've tried the beef and the curry one and I get them at the hot spicy level. As a huge spice fan, I would say the hot is a comfortable level where I can still taste the food but also get a little kick in it. One level down and it wouldn't be spicy and one level up might be too spicy for me. Service can be a bit busy sometimes but other than that they're kind. Loved the vibes inside, very classy!

Hieu V.

Yelp
The service is really bad. Although there's tons of people waiting outside, they are not letting anyone in. The food is just fine.

Peter G.

Yelp
Let me stat by saying that the food is always good , not the cooks fault , but the service is always clumsy , half of the time looks like they dont know what they are doing , and they are very unorganized .

Ashley C.

Yelp
Lemme start off by saying the workers here are SO CLUELESS. Backstory context: the chairs here are all stools. So there was no place for my friend to put her big purse. As a result, she asked the worker for another stool to put her purse on. the worker then comes back with a thermometer and puts it in her soup.... SO UNREAL. HELLO?? IS ANYONE HOME?? We asked for an extra stool....NOT A THERMOMETER IN THE SOUP?!?! i also noticed that everytime we come, there are new workers. always some trainee messing up our experience. it makes me wonder why they can't consistently keep productive workers here. the workers are so bad at communicating and they called on ticket numbers that have already been seated...such a waste of time and long wait times for customers because of their lack of table management. i can tell they never played Flo's Diner Dash on the iphone growing up. Clueless as heck and that's why we gave them $1 tip smh. total wait time to be seated: 50 minutes wait time for our food: 10 minutes wait time for drinks: 20 minutes (had to ask 3 times) wait time for check and card return: 10 minutes i will say food here is decent. Not too bad but definitely not the freshest ingredients compared to the other locations i've been to. The only worker i appreciate here is the guy with the tattoos. He is the only one who has a brain at this establishment. I feel bad for him because he deserves better coworkers and better pay. you are loved and valued tattoo waiter thank u

Sarah M.

Yelp
I love boiling point. I've been loyal to this individual hot pot place for more than a decade now. I'm so glad they brought back their original spicy bean sauce! Although service is spotty and can be slow, the hot pot just always hits the spot. They don't skimp out on toppings, I always get full, and I love that the love special comes with a free green or black tea. My favorite hot pot to get is the beef one.

Alejandro F.

Yelp
If you are not part of the Asian community please don't come here. We sat 20 minutes, and an older Asian couple got helped right away. This isn't the first review like this and I wish it wasn't true, but damn that was crazy-I haven't felt discrimination in a while as a Mexican.

James V.

Yelp
The lighting in here was really dark and it was super cold but that didn't stop me from eating. I got the beef medium and honestly this time, it didn't taste that spicy and wish it was a bit spicier. Also, I could never go wrong with boiling point since they're relatively consistent throughout all of the BP branches (I've been to irvine, san gabriel and this location). Their garlic bean paste sauce is seriously to die for, I'd buy packets of that if they offer it.

Ana T.

Yelp
I came here to get some hot pot for lunch. There are plenty of indoor seating although the tables are a little small. Service was quick although sometimes you'll need to get their attention if you need something. If you don't get the parking in front of their store, you can always park in the market parking lot. When you go in, you can scan the QR code to get the online menu. It indicates that lunch hours are from 11 am to 3 pm, and you can get a free regular sized iced green or black tea for lunch ($1 for upgrade). || What I Got This time, I tried the seafood and tofu hot pot. It was delicious! The flavor of the soup was perfect and the meat was very good.

Saul S.

Yelp
The Boiling Point was delicious! Our best friends took us here for dinner and it was perfect for a rainy day. I got the #4 Beef with medium spice. Beware with the spice, if you like spicy you can go up a few levels. The hot pot comes with a side of white rice or noodles. The service was great! For a Monday night is was busy but we got seated right away and the servers are very attentive. The ambiance is really cool inside, very mellow and everyone is minding their business. Highly recommend coming here!

Julia Y.

Yelp
Bathroom Review Lighting: No covers over the bare lightbulbs so it looked cheap. Smell: Strong smell of stale urine even tho the restaurant just opened. No visible air freshener. Grime Level: No visible grime. TP / Seat Covers: Yes to both. Soap: Automatic dispenser but only dispensed a little drop at a time (foam soap). Hand Drying Apparatus: Blow dryer only. No paper towels. Tampons/Pads: Not provided. General Notes: Toilet handle was broken and had to hold it down for a long time to eventually get it to flush.

Emerson P.

Yelp
I don't normally leave 1 star reviews, but the service at this location is why I'll never come to this location again. We came for lunch, and we're seated shorty. We already knew our order and we're waiting for someone to come take our order. We watched as more people came in, and everyone's orders were taken except for ours. (We are not Asian) I asked someone to take our order, and she ignored me and left. We continued to wait for a short time as we watched more people come in and get their orders taken right away. I think they they ignored my group because we were not Asian. We just got up and left because nobody would take our order. We go to other boiling point locations and we already knew our orders. Our treatment (or lack there of) was awful and borderline racist. I'm left feeling very sad and possibly discriminated against.

Melanie W.

Yelp
Honestly the food is good. Lunch is even better because they give you a free drink to go with it (black or green tea. Sweetened). Normally I order the milk cream curry. It's delicious. Food is brought out to you in a small pan that is being boiled by a flame beneath it. Servers will refill your broth if it gets too low. I give this place a three because the service here has been consistently horrendous. Lunch was a 1.5 hour experience (not including wait time). That's an extremely long time. It took too long for a server to take our order and then another 20 minutes before our food was brought out. There were about 5 servers, yet I had to raise my hand for almost everything. Raise to order. Raise to add another drink. Raise to get a check. Raise to give my credit card to pay. A server came by two or three times without us having to raise our hand. You would think that's not bad. But three times in 1.5 hours? That's pretty bad. Also, I personally believe they only need two servers to handle a small restaurant like that. Maybe three. Five is a bit excessive. They will get in each others ways or start to chit chat. Lastly, parking is street. Some park at the market parking lot around the corner.

Anthony T.

Yelp
Worst store in the chain. They need a new management. Employee does not care about customer. We arrived with only 3 parties ahead of us and there are tables available. It was cold and raining outside but they don't let people in. Ended up waiting for more than 45 minutes with a lot of empty tables. Also floor is super slippery

Jarenn N.

Yelp
Always able to get a table when we stop by on a weeknight for dinner. Service has always been good here. My favorite is the beef and I love the sauces on the side whether you are eating in or doing takeout/delivery they include the sauces. Free street parking.

Ravindu U.

Yelp
Trying Boiling Point's Lamb Hot Pot was really nice. Even though it was kinda busy on a Sunday, we got a table in 15 minutes. I had the medium spicy lamb, while my friend had the Beef Hot Pot. The people working there were nice, and they gave us free black or green tea. Boiling Point has lots of different foods and you can pick how spicy you want it. It's a cool place for hot pot lovers, makes for a tasty and fun meal, and the relaxed atmosphere adds to the experience.

Kimmie N.

Yelp
Customer service here was horrible. Came here on a Friday night with my coworkers. I parked in the market plaza that is located just behind BP. We waited roughly 20 minutes. I recommend bringing a sweater. Their AC is jacked up pretty low so it was fairly cold. They brought our food out in such a weird order/manner. Our sides came out first. They brought only 1 coke and maybe 10 minutes later, the diet coke and my honey milk tea came. When our pots finally came, they didnt even know what they brought up. All 3 of us ordered miso soup but had different proteins and spicy levels. It was important to know because one of my coworker cannot eat pork. Weve asked for a round of water also when we placed our order at the beginning and midway through our dinner, we had to ask again. I dont like Boiling Point because I prefer to put in my ingredients as I eat so they dont become too soggy or absorb too much of my broth that it becomes thick. Overall food was good. I enjoyed my drinks as well. They currently have a promotion for beverages where you buy 1 get one for $1.49. I enjoyed 2 milk teas to myself while my coworker got their sodas. While paying for our bill, I noticed the promotion wasnt applied so I had asked the server. He seemed clueless of the promotion as he said he had to ask. I advise that there wasnt any time frame listed on the poster so it wasnt like it was only offered for lunch vs dinner. In the end, the promo applied to both the milk teas and coke. Overall, food was good. Service was horrible because we had to keep reminding them of things and it wasnt even that busy by the time we were seated which was 9pm.

JP Z.

Yelp
Food was good, no need to upgrade to the gravy rice when you are eating soup it is an over kill. They give great service water is always filled up and our food got there so fast, parking is Eh better yah. Some places.

Kelly L.

Yelp
Came here for a nice hot meal on a cold night. Service was pretty good and fast. We ordered the standard hot pot, medium spicy. The broth was just ok flavor, not too spicy. The toppings are ok, seems like half napa cabbage filler, thankfully I like napa cabbage. Minimal toppings and sauces, but the few they have are tasty. Ok for a basic hot pot, but if you like certain toppings or want to customize not the best option.

Shirley M.

Yelp
I always get the same order here. The lamb hot pot is the best. I like coming here during lunch for the free tea that's comes with the order. The jelly that they bring with the check is really good. Overall, they have really good service and the food comes out pretty quick. I come to this location a lot because it's close to the movies.

Janet D.

Yelp
I have to say, the broth has definitely gotten better throughout the years. I ordered the lamb and ate the entire thing. They really do pack your bowl a bit more as well. I do have to say, no matter which boiling point I go to, I get the absolute worst service imaginable. The staff here was rude and completely ignored our table multiple times. Before sitting down, you have to put your name down on the waitlist and I saw that their machine wasn't showing who was on the waitlist so I went and told them. They told me that it wasn't broken and that I didn't know how to work it. It turns out, it wasn't working on our side but working on their side so it ended up not mattering, but since it was so busy, I just wanted to know. Of course, while eating a giant BOILING HOT pot of food, you would want a lot of water to go with it. They gave us the world's tiniest cups and one water pitcher for our table of 7. It was ridiculous! If it weren't such a filling meal that hits the spot during the wintertime, I would honestly continue to avoid this place.

Bobbi M.

Yelp
Boiling point was everything I was looking for in a soup for a good price a little spicy but I enjoy spicy food so it was perfect. Love the hot pot setup they got going on. Service was also good.

Alona O.

Yelp
$19 for #4. Are you out of your mind? I know everywhere is going up but dang couldn't you go up $1 or $1.50. Better off going to a buffet for a little less or a few more dollars and have a variety of foods. This is soup, nothing extravagant or fancy.

Una S.

Yelp
I ordered lamb hot pot with rice. But it end up with no meat at all. I already eat half of the bowl but still didn't see any meat. They also give me the wrong order with silver noodle instead of rice. I called back the restaurant and they told me I need to go back to pick up the meat myself. I told her my lunch hour is almost over and said if it's ok to just refund me the meat portion, the manager told me no options for this. They can give me the meat potion next time when I go. The manger also give me a customer service number that no voice Mail and no one pick up the phone. Very bad service. I don't recommend this restaurant. I wish I can give 0 star.

Yelp
The service is really bad here.. the only time they paid attention to us is when we got in and asked for our bill LOL.. We tried to catch their attention for about 5-8 min to order. Some servers even saw us and just ignored us.. we didn't know where the menu was either until i looked down at the next table where the QR code was hanging. Mind you they were not that busy... My brother and I got medium spicy beef hotpot. I just realized looking at the picture that my brother got less food than i did :( It was pretty good but i noticed they put A LOT of napa cabbage compared to other ingredients in the soup.. was very disappointed as I've been craving hot pot for a while before i came here today. Most likely will not come back to this location -- i would rather go to the one in pasadena although it is a few dollars more expensive

Yelp
complete waste of my time. we waited for 50 minutes and only had 3 people ahead of us and never got sat so we left. The workers were doing everything else but seating people. One of the workers kept walking around doing nothing and she took ages to clean one table and seat another. I think her name was Rachel. The service was ass. Never going back.

Yelp
I recently dined at this Boiling point and unfortunately, my experience left much to be desired. Despite the appealing menu options, the service was severely lacking. I had to ask for water three times before receiving it, and even then, it felt like an inconvenience to the staff. Overall, the service was slow and inattentive, greatly detracting from what could have been an enjoyable meal. Environment was OK.

Yelp
This place is FREEZING!!!!! Management needs to bring the temperature up a little!!!!! Food is as other locations. Servers didn't serve lemon jellos at the end. Should we have asked?

Yelp
UGH SO BOMB!!!! prior to arriving I had just returned from a long drive/trip and needed some soupy goodness to make me feel whole again. I called ahead to make sure there was not a wait and thankfully on a Monday at 2pm there wasn't! upon arriving we were seated pretty quickly and they took our order and we got our food fast! the food quality is as good as every other location I've been to! FOOD: -beef hot pot (~$14) - ugh best of everything if you like beef! also comes with vermicelli noodles inside (so order rice if you'd like) and tons of veggies, tofu. tomato, corn, etc. lots of beef included. MY GO TO! PROS: -free tea for lunch! -the food is just chefs kiss! so bomb! -bathroom available -easy street parking in front -the sauces are amazing (garlic soy sauce, garlic bean paste, garlic chili sauce, chili plum powder) CONS: -for two people the smaller tables are tight! OVERALL: HIGHLY RECOMMEND! ugh holy grail of hot pots!

Yelp
Dined here recently and found a fly in one of the sauces! YUCKKK!! Please check your sauces everyone because you might have a fly marinating...servers didn't seem too bothered about it...probably nothing new to them. I honestly wonder how long that fly was in there for...also, how many people used that sauce before I found the fly...and how many times the sauce just kept getting refilled while the fly was still in there...maybe wash the sauce containers more frequently?

Yelp
Came here for lunch with my cousin today for the first time in 3 years! It has been too long and I was so excited to be back. I was not disappointed because the food was plentiful and the tea was strong. I got the #4 beef hot pot which came with a tea. I chose black tea. #4 beef hot pot (medium spice) - omgggg...so delicious. I thought medium was the perfect spice level for me. It burned so good! The beef was tender, the vegetables were plentiful, and I cooked the vermicelli to my preferred level of chewiness. The broth has remained consistently flavorful. I have no complaints. Black tea - this is sweeter and stronger than I remembered, but I don't mind since there was a lot of ice in the cup. Sweetness also helped cool me down when things got too spicy for me. Took off 1 star because the check-in process was a little complicated for me. I didn't know it had changed so much... Luckily, my cousin knew what she was doing!

Yelp
Great service and food tastes delicious. Lunch price is affordable for current post-pandemic economy, especially since it comes with a free drink. Would definitely return to this location in the near future.
