The 7 Best Hot Pot Restaurants In Seattle

"For hot pot folks who are kind of lazy (or nervous about accidentally ruining the pork belly), Boiling Point is the place to go. At the chain’s relaxed ID location, the meats, fish, and vegetables come to the table precooked in woks and re-fired at the table to keep the broths simmering. Purists may pine for more customizations, but what the restaurant lacks in frills it makes up for in flavor. The subtle sweetness of the miso pot packed with sliced pork, prawns, mushrooms, and silky tofu makes for a nice complement to the more spice-heavy varieties. And while the dining room doesn’t have robo-waiters or tableside antics, it’s still fun for groups who love chatting over a chopstick-wielded treasure hunt." - gabe guarente, aimee rizzo, kayla sager riley

Best Hot Pot Restaurants in the Seattle Area | Eater Seattle

"This Taiwanese shop in the International District specializes in serving a more passive version of hot pot where, instead of providing diners with raw ingredients, the pot is filled to the brim with precooked items and reheated at the table. The house special is the real draw, and features ingredients such as pork intestines, pork blood cake, and fermented tofu." - Ryan Lee

Boiling Point is a decent option if you're a fan of Taiwanese-style hot pot, known for its rich flavors and convenient individual servings. The menu offers a good variety, from beef hot pot to kimchi and spicy Sichuan options, each served neatly with a full set of toppings. In terms of taste, the food is well-seasoned, the broth is flavorful, and the ingredients are fresh—generally satisfying for most palates. Pricing is fairly reasonable—not exactly cheap, but acceptable for the quality offered. However, the biggest downside is the wait time. Guests often need to take a number and wait quite a while, especially during peak hours. It's common to wait 20 to 40 minutes just to get seated, and even after that, service can be slow. The staff aren’t unfriendly, but they seem overwhelmed, which leads to delayed responses and slower order handling. Overall, Boiling Point is a solid choice if you're not in a rush and want to enjoy a flavorful individual hot pot in a relatively comfortable setting—just be prepared to wait a bit longer than usual.

The food here is delicious!! I've tried the Beef and Miso one and I love them both! The dipping sauces are to die for, SO good 😍 Meal also comes with green or black tea and choice of rice or vermicelli! Waiters are attentive and nice. Def a nice, chill place to dine solo too! Will be back!

So, visiting from Chicago last year, we got to come try this place. It was so good, that I made sure my friend brought me back this trip. The food was pretty similar. The flavor is good. The sauces are still so yummy and flavorful. The change is the service! They were so mean and inattentive! We got a legit eye roll from one of them when we asked for an order more beef. Another questioned everything. The flames went out multiple times. Everything we asked for seemed like we were burdening them. It wasn’t fun. Not sure I’ll be asking for this next year when I visit.

One of many Boiling Points in the area doesn’t disappoint. Really good portion size and their system keeps your food hot! Super good flavors. I always leave satisfied.

I ordered the house special hot pot and really enjoyed the tofu and meat inside alongside the vermicelli noodles. The wintermelon lemon juice drink was watery and I liked the Lu Wei. They provided a complimentary konjac jelly at the end and offer a generous active military discount for 20%.

We've visited other locations and we only knew about this one because it was right next to Uwajimaya. The wait time was a bit finicky. On the app it showed there were 4 ahead of us so we put our number because other locations would take at least 30 minutes or more until we get our seat. We left to run some errands only to find out less than a minute later after already leaving that our table was ready. So we had to rush back with a bit of Seattle traffic. They were able to sit us luckily and we just immediately order as we were super hungry. We ordered our usual, Taiwanese spicy but this time with the egg rice. Flavor is great as usual. The place got packed quick! Fyi to newbies that don't know boiling point, it is a hot pot, but individually served in a metal box like with a mini wok to put the hot pot menu on. It is different than regular, share in the middle hot pot. Fyi again, they can validate your parking. We were parked in the same parking lot as Uwajimaya and we were there less than 1 hour. All in all, great food, great service. Will come back if we're in the area.

Honestly I like the food, I ordered many times using delivery app. However, this was my first time eating in the restaurant. I ordered two different ones for me & my boyfriend. We clearly pointed out two different foods, one’s spicy and one’s non-spicy. My food came after 15~20mins. His food didn’t. Up until 30-40mins, we finally asked the staff for his food, and he said “There’s only one order” which was VERY disappointing. We even ordered two different menus, so the staff must’ve listened to spicy and not spicy menu and must’ve seen it when we pointed it out. After the very loooong wait, we decided not to complaint and order a new one. It came 10~15mins after, which means my boyfriend waited for about AN HOUR for his food. I’m not completely sure if the staff didn’t hear us in the first place, or not, but honestly he should’ve repeat/recheck my order since he could’ve seen that my boyfriend haven’t eaten anything yet after a while and I ordered the regular size for myself and not to share. It was around 4pm at that time so we basically had that as a very late lunch. Very much a disappointment since we had to get the food much later than we expected, but we weren’t able to even complaint because we thought it wasn’t worth a hassle. Additionally, when I just sat down in the restaurant I saw that they have an app that I could download to collect points so I downloaded it. After all the incident of delayed food, we were discussing about it so we didn’t really pay attention when we pay the bill. So, I didn’t remember to give my barcode from the app.We paid and went out the entrance door, and I decided to come back. I asked them if I can get my points, and they said go to the cashier, and I did. She was saying she can scan the barcode and I showed it to her. She looked like she didn’t know what she was doing and just scanned the barcode and looked at the receipt. And guess what.. My points right now is still zero. I know it’s not a big deal about points but I wished I would’ve gotten a little ‘treat’ from the incident happened earlier, but no.. not at all. Hence it left a bad impression for me about the restaurant itself. Overall, good food! But the service was really awful and questionable at this point.

The soup is still good. I tried the new rice topping of pork but the original egg is still the best. My go to order is the house special cause it has stinky tofu. Go during lunch time for free tea and sign up for the rewards program to get discounts. Edit: for some reason, the rewards program has not been working as it has before. My purchases are not being added to my account therefore I’ve been unable to accrue the points. I am not sure if this is a staff issue or a system issue but please address this. I love going there and I want to continue doing so

Yelp
My wife is always craving hot pot. So, our favorite place to go is Boiling Point. During my recent lunch visit, I ordered the Beef and Curry hot pot, and both were delicious. Just an fyi if you're new to BP, an added bonus during lunch is the complimentary green or black tea. Just something else to note, while prices have increased, the portions have also gotten larger, ensuring you get great value for your money. Service can be a little spotty but they're usually pretty quick to get what you need.

Yelp
My friends and I didn't make it in time for lunch, but there was no wait when we arrived. We were seated right away for our group of three. After we ordered, our food came out within what felt like five minutes! My friends were surprised since this was their first time at Boiling Point. Even I was surprised, and I am a frequent customer. I forgot to get my parking validated, but when I came back to Boiling Point, they did it without asking any questions and quickly as well. I really appreciated that!

Yelp
We come here a lot. When I say a lot, I mean like nearly once every week. We usually get the same thing and only recently has my friend decided to change her order so you'd think she'd know how her food tastes typically and how it would taste otherwise. She ordered the Korean Bean Paste as usual but substituted the meat, but she didn't receive the meat substitute she asked for, but instead just the pork that it always comes with. This isn't that big of an issue, she doesn't mind if the meat was incorrect. However, when we went to go let a server know about the discrepancy, they were so incredibly rude about it. The lady that we called over looked extremely irritable and basically side eyed us as we called her over. We let her know about the mix up, and she looks annoyed and almost unwilling to help. My friend tells me she actually rolled her eyes at us! She goes to the back and we assume she's just trying to figure out the issue but then she comes out with two other employees from the back and the first question she proceeds to ask is, "Did you expect the bowl to be bigger??" In a condescending tone. My friend let her know that she was not expecting the size of the bowl to be bigger, but just for the pork in the bowl to be changed, as they up charge for changing the meat. The two guys she brought from the back proceeded to chime in aggressively to let us know that it was beef and not pork. My friend decided to just drop it as the employees seemed to be extremely hostile and unwilling to budge from their argument. We told them it's fine and to just leave it on the bill, and the lady proceeds to slam the bill onto our table??? Like quite literal audible thud. Wow, like I understand the confusion and everything, but seriously why are they holding so much hostility and attitude towards customers who were originally so nice and understanding about the situation?? What a joke, seriously. I sincerely wish I had taken note of her name so I could handle this issue more privately. I just cannot help but be so shocked about the attitude and lack of service when we've been here often and never had any issues.. Not to mention, the broth of my friend's wok looked nearly inedible.. The meat was falling apart, rice cakes were mushy, everything just felt kinda... old in a way? Like quality was definitely not up to par. Super disappointing. TLDR; employees HELLA rude, if you have an issue and calmly raise a concern at them they will not hesitate to clap back with hostile attitude.

Yelp
Definitely a fun experience to eat at. Boiling point is a classic stop for college students, good portions for the price. The staff took our orders pretty quickly when we arrived and food arrived soon after. It's a fun experience for individual hot pot, you get a taste of everything. We ordered the beef and the lamb one which was good.

Yelp
This was a fun and different way to enjoy hotpot. Service is super fast and tables were clean as well. If you come during lunch you get a free tea and side like rice or vermicelli. I ordered the beef hot soup in medium and it was great. It was filled to the brim with meat and had many toppings inside. It wasn't as spicy to me, so definitely opt for hot if you enjoy spice. The teas they gave to us were actually pretty good. They are sweetened so you might have to ask for unsweetened tea. It was a quick lunch despite it being flaming hot the entire time. The sauces they offer are also very good. It was fun to mix and match different flavors.

Yelp
The food here is good, but I do think other hot pot restaurants are more worth it. I came here with two other friends for Tuesday lunch and there wasn't a wait. The space is decently big and feels open, but there are a couple of seats near the front that are difficult to move in and out of because of how close the seats are. For lunch, they offer complimentary green or black tea, which is nice! Our tea orders did come out wrong, but it wasn't a huge deal. I ordered the milk cream curry hot pot (medium spice) while my other two friends ordered the beef hot pot. I personally thought the beef hot pot tasted better, but I still enjoyed the milk cream curry. The milk cream curry is flavorful, but it is pretty heavy, which made it a little tiring to eat. The medium spice was a good amount of spice, but it wasn't overbearing. I thought they gave a good amount of meat with each hot pot, so that was nice. The restaurant wasn't super busy, but it did take a while to get their attention once your food came out. They also validate parking tickets (yay!), but some employees didn't know this. Overall, a decent hot pot place that serves individual servings but definitely not the best.

Yelp
Whenever I find myself in the area, a visit to Boiling Point is an absolute must! It's not just a meal; it's a culinary experience that never fails to impress. From the moment you walk in, the inviting ambiance and the spotless environment set the stage for an exceptional dining adventure. Let's talk about the food - it's nothing short of phenomenal. The Spicy Miso is my go-to dish every time. It strikes the perfect balance of flavors, with a richness and depth that tantalize the taste buds. And when you add extra tofu skins to it, the texture and taste elevate to a whole new level. It's a dish that resonates with comfort and flavor in every spoonful. As a fan of pairing, I highly recommend trying their green tea alongside your meal. It's the perfect accompaniment, providing a refreshing contrast to the spicy and savory notes of the meal. The green tea's subtle bitterness and aromatic quality make it an ideal palate cleanser, enhancing the overall dining experience.

Yelp
I've had hot pot before, but not this version where it's prearranged, but I loved it. I was a little overwhelmed with the menu because everything looked and sounded so delicious, so my sister asked what meat I prefer and we went with beef to make it an easy decision. We ate everything, and I mean everything. A regular can feed 2 people, and with 2 sides of rice it's like $25..very doable! When we were done I wish I had ordered a large. Spice level 2 is prettttyyy spicy. I enjoyed it but my sister kept pausing like 'whew' (and we're Black and love spicy food). I'll definitely return for seconds someday!

Yelp
I never come here enough! Boiling Point in Chinatown has been the go-to spot for lunch and dinner with my UW friends. I would highly recommend joining the waitlist on Yelp beforehand since there usually is a line. Every choice I've had for food was incredible. I would recommend the Thai Tomato Soup since it's personally helped me a ton when I was feeling a bit under the weather.

Yelp
I'm pretty addicted to Boiling Point. You can say I'm addicted to hot pot in general but I think the other ones are yes better but too expensive. They recently started doing a deal where you get unlimited rice and double the meat per pot. I normally come for lunch by myself and it's convenient since the pots are meant to be individualized. During lunch it's cheaper and comes with a drink, and none of the food is reduced. My go-to is the Taiwanese Spicy which only comes in Flaming Hot. There can be a wait sometimes during prime lunch and dinner hours. They fortunately have an app where you can track how many people are on their waitlist if any. If there is a wait, I normally put my number down and go shopping at Uwajimaya or check out something in Chinatown.

Yelp
I'm not a huge soup person; however with that being said, the Hot Pot at Boiling Point in Uwajimaya Villiage is pretty tasty. They serve them in these cute little individual hot pot bowls where you can turn the temperature up or down to your liking, which is pretty cool in my opinion. I've never had a dining experience like it. I ordered the "Hot Green Hot Soup" which was the special at the time. It came with sliced beef omasum tripe, beef aorta (heart), and duck foot sitting in a green-peppercorn-infused broth. Now I want to say I'm naturally that adventurous of a foodie to place that order, but tbh I just looked at the menu and ordered it because it looked pretty and had no idea what I was eating until I checked the menu after I left. With that being said my first time eating tripe and duck foot was pretty damn good. I also mixed in some spicy chili oil to give my soup an extra kick. All in all a good meal only enhanced by the passion fruit green tea I had on the side. All in all, Boiling Point was a cute little lunch spot in Seattle. I suggest going to explore the rest of Uwajimaya Village after eating.

Yelp
Love the additions of greens in this book and perfect amount of meat! Which there was some more rice cakes, but came with a side of either rice or vermicelli noodles. Server was very nice and the place was well ventilated for all the steam produced.
google avatar

Sharon L.

Yelp
On a cold rainy day in Seattle, a steaming hot pot seemed like a great lunch option. Boiling Point seemed to be quite popular as there was a 30 minute wait for our table. After we were seated, I looked around for a menu, but wasn't sure where it was located until I finally found the qr code - hanging out of view under the edge of the table. It would be better if staff could point this out for customers instead of having them search for it. The hot soup comes out boiling on its own little pot and stand with some fuel underneath, steaming hot and filled with ingredients. I ordered the tofu and seafood, and it was great, filled with shrimp, clams, tofu, pork, mushrooms and veggies. There are different types of sauce at every table, and the lunch set also comes with tea and a choice of rice or vermicelli. Overall the food was good, and was a good choice for hot pot if you want a personal size preset hot pot.

Yelp
Haven't been to this location in a long time but I came since the Tukwila location is temporarily closed. It's definitely more spacious. I came at the start of dinner time and didn't have to wait. But as soon as I got seated, there were a rush of people who came. The food was good. But service could be better.
google avatar

Samir H.

Yelp
Delicious! My soup was very spicy so be careful ordering your spice level! The restaurant was very hot! Would have been nicer if there was a bit more AC with all the hot pots on. The service was great! The tables also had origami you could partake in which was fun.
google avatar

Megan S.

Yelp
Update: still a fan of this place. It's a little on the pricier side but it's a pretty big serving so no complaint from me. The spring egg is so good!! I can't believe I spent years coming here and did not know about it. It's creamy, savory, onion-y.. so good Also love the jelly packets they give at the end :) and the servers here are always nice and attentive!
google avatar

Yelp
Honestly, hot pot would probably be my death row meal. And while Boiling Point doesn't do it the best in Seattle, it definitely does it pretty well. BP was one of my go-to's growing up in the Bay Area, and I was so glad to see there were locations in Seattle too when I moved. I love that they do individual portions for people, as it makes it great if you don't want to or can't share broths. The broths are packed with flavor, and each of the soup ingredients soaks up the flavor so well. I also usually have so many customizations for my own personal bowl, and while you have to pay to add in extra ingredients, the waiters are typically pretty accommodating and patient with my requests. This is perfect for a rainy Seattle day! It's also nice that they have a vegetarian hot pot option as well, albeit only one. My only complaint would be that I wished they allowed you to adjust the spice levels for it. Otherwise, this is a great place if you're looking for cheaper options than Haidilao, but with all the same flavor.
google avatar

Miko B.

Yelp
I recently tried the Taiwanese Spicy at Boiling Pot and it was definitely an experience. The soup base was extremely spicy (only available as "Flaming Spicy"), so if you can't handle spice, I'd recommend staying away. The fried taro and pork intestine were the highlights of the dish for me, both were cooked perfectly and added great texture and flavor to the soup. I have to dock off some stars for the service. Our server was careless and rude -- they forgot to serve our sides of rice and vermicelli noodles, and when we followed-up, they insinuated that we had already been given these sides. It was clear that we weren't hiding anything since all the bowls were laid out on the table in plain sight. This kind of service is unacceptable and unfortunately detracted from the overall experience.

Yelp
I actually enjoy going to boiling point, and decided to bring my friends from Mexico and my other friend visiting up from Everett. We ordered a beef bowl, milk curry, and seafood, and tofu. When we walked in we waited for at least 15 minutes, but noticed the people after us got in before us. But we were early for the reign game so it wasn't too big of a deal. It was smaller than the other one I've gone too in southcenter, it was pretty packed for the most park. Thinking it is a Friday and people went in on a Friday mid morning I loved the sign, ambience it was relaxed. Seeing everyone's faces diving into the soup. Food wise we got there before 5 so considering it was the lunch prices. We get a free drink. We all order green tea. As soon as we got our food, it took at least 12 mins. They forgot my friend's drink, but gave us a fork. So it wasn't too bad. My friend ordered the beef hot level and I ordered mines hot. Both flavorful good amount of flavor. They forgot to heat up the bowls so it was confusing for us to eat. But we dove in and enjoyed it. Perfect for a chilled afternoon. Definitely will go on a least busy day. I'd say best time to go if you're in the international district. Is right when they open.

Yelp
Still and always will be a Boiling Point Fan! I just moved from Seattle and used to go to the one in Gardena, CA all the time. Boiling Point is pretty much consistent in flavor wherever you go which is good. My husband and I came on a Friday night around 5:30pm and we were quickly seated by 7pm it was pretty busy with long waits. Service is friendly and efficient. The restaurant has plenty of booth seating. I got the beef hot pot - medium spicy with their upgraded egg rice. I wanted to try the egg rice and it was really tasty, but I actually prefer just regular rice since their soup base is so good. I also ordered the old time delight black milk tea with boba. It was on the sweeter side but was really refreshing. At the end of our meal, I paid and we got these little lemon jelly packs which we enjoyed. I'm almost 100% sure I will be back again soon.

Yelp
Boiling Point has been at the top of my bucket list for a while now and so I'm glad my friend finally suggested that we go for lunch on a Sunday afternoon. This was my first time experiencing an individual hot pot place as my friends and I normally go for the AYCE hot pot buffet at the Bellevue Happy Lamb. I was excited to have my own hot pot just to myself and try new broths. The restaurant was extremely crowded and it took me 20 minutes to find parking down the way. My friend thankfully got there before I did and was able to put his name on the waiting list in the meantime. Normally they need the whole party to be seated, but they were nice enough to let him hold a table for us while I was walking over from my car. Unlike Happy Lamb, Boiling Point IS NOT an all you can eat buffet. The hot pots come with set ingredients (with the option to substitute or add on for extra). There are 9 different options you can choose from including House Special, Seafood and Tofu, Korean Bean Paste, Beef, Lamb, Milk Cream Curry, Mushroom Veggie, Taiwanese Spicy., and Miso. You can customize the spice level of most of the dishes which ranges from None to Flaming Spicy. Additionally, you get your choice of vermicelli or rice on the side. All dishes were around $20 including tip and tax. My friend recommended the lamb, beef, or milk cream curry (which to me sounds weird, but he claims it is actually good). I played it safe and went with the lamb which came with fried taro, napa cabbage, green onion, firm tofu, seafood, imitation crab stick (surimi), fried tofu skin, pickled mustard greens, Bunashimeji mushrooms (which were like big enoki mushrooms), clam, tempura fish stick, egg, and cilantro. Like my friend, I chose a hot spiciness level as I prefer my hot pot with a kick to it. Because it was lunch time, they throw in a free sweet iced tea (black or green of your choice). I chose green, but my companion chose black. Service was prompt and they bring out your stone pots and light them within 10-15 minutes after ordering. You have to wait a little while for the broth to start boiling, but since it's an individual bowl, it's pretty quick. The lamb hot pot was great and they did not skimp on the ingredients. Obviously they put less meat in the hot pot in comparison to the amount of veggies, but I personally didn't mind. They have some condiments on the table including garlic chili paste, chili paste/oil, and Garlic paste. I was a big fan of the garlic paste and dipped all of my ingredients in it. The hot spicy broth was maybe a 3 star spicy; next time I might try Flaming spicy. Overall I was satisfied with both the quantity and quality of the food and felt like it was just the right amount of food. It didn't leave me with a food coma or overstuffed unlike Happy Lamb where you're trying to get the most value (or meat) for your buck. Atmosphere is modern, busy, and casual. Bathrooms are clean. 4/5 for food, 4/5 for service, 4/5 for atmosphere

Yelp
I love eating here and never get tired of it. The food and portions are amazing and you always get really full. I think it's only worth it for the price, even more so since they've increased it, to eat during lunch hours so you get the complimentary drink. I also absolutely love their garlic bean paste I could eat that by the spoonful. The only reason I give it four points is because the service is always bad and slow. You have to wave them down to order and get the check because once they seat you it feels like they forget you exist.

Yelp
I recently tried Boiling Point, a cozy little spot that serves up some seriously tasty Taiwanese hot soup. And let me tell you, it did not disappoint. First off, the atmosphere of the restaurant is really nice - it's got a modern and stylish decor that makes you feel right at home. The staff were also super friendly and attentive, which always makes for a great dining experience. But let's get to the real star of the show - the Milk Cream Curry soup. Y'all, this stuff is seriously delicious.I t was packed with flavor. The broth is rich and savory, with just the right amount of spice, and the meat is super tender and flavorful. Also if you go during lunch, you get a complimentary green or black tea. Overall, if you're a fan of Taiwanese hot soup or just looking for a cozy spot to grab a delicious meal, I highly recommend Boiling Point. The atmosphere, staff, and most importantly, the food, are all top-notch. Don't miss out!

Yelp
Boiling point is the spot for your individual hot pot splurge. We have been here a couple times and they are consistently good. In this cold weather, hot pot is the perfect food. Perhaps a little too spicy but we always seem to choose the Taiwanese Spicy hot pot. Always a 5/5. On the side we ordered some vermicelli, which stays good even when heated a long time (ramen noodle is good but usually gets over cooked if left in too long. Beware this can make you cry lol. Great service and pleasant staff, kept our waters filled and were very attentive.
google avatar

Lisa L.

Yelp
A solid place for your own personal pot. Service is a little slow but the value for this meal during lunch is amazing. Plus, you get a free tea for lunch. I went on a weekday and didn't have to wait to get seated. I got the lamb pot and my partner got the beef pot. We both liked the lamb better. I liked that they keep the sauces/condiments on the table, allowing you to mix up your own combo to dip your meat and vegetables in. This definitely curves the hot pot craving!
google avatar

Serena H.

Yelp
I stopped by on a Saturday morning and there was a line out the door before they opened! I came again on a Tuesday around 1 pm and there was no wait. Boiling Point is a hot pot place where each person gets their own pot. The lunch prices are a dollar cheaper and come with a free green or black tea! Recommend getting the tea without ice :) My go to order is the milk cream curry without milk cream, medium spicy. I enjoyed my meal and I always recommend getting rice since the noodle is already inside the curry pot. Definitely a filling meal with a variety of toppings, only weak point is the meat quality which is just ok!
google avatar

Raisa C.

Yelp
Maybe the best hotpot place I have been to. Service was amazing, they were so thoughtful with having disposable aprons for each guest, toothpicks and toothbrushes and mouthwash in the restroom, and even bags to cover your coat so it wouldn't get dirty. All of the added touches like the snack bar were great, as was the presentation of how the meat came out for the hotpot. Would absolutely go back.

Yelp
This is not a hands-on dipping hotpot but individual pots with already arranged ingredients and decent soups that just need to be brought to a boil over own individual chafing fuel fire. Portions are filling and with 10+ ingredients in each pot, the prices here are very reasonable. Lunch is $1 less than dinner prices and comes with a drink. Yelp
Seattle Boiling Points just hit different! I've had the BPs in Bellevue and Edmonds, and a huge plus is their consistency! We came by the ID location on Monday for lunch around noon. To our surprise, I was expecting at least a 30-60min wait, but we were sat immediately, and it was less than half full! I always get the fish ball curry (with no cream). Rice, and I upgrade my green tea to a large. BP green tea is so good too!!! One of the best. This time around, it was on the sweeter side...but not big of a deal. Parking validation available in the lot that shares with uwajimaya. I always prefer going to BP during lunch for the free green tea :) Dinner costs more and no green tea... Yelp
Came here 11/27/2022. Gotta address one thing that I see in other reviews: this is NOT A KOREAN RESTAURANT! It's Taiwanese/Chinese. Boiling Point is a restaurant that serves individual ready-to-eat hotpot over a personal fire. It consists of various soup bases and vegetable/meat toppings. I came in a party of 2 on a Sunday around 8:30 PM and there was no wait. The restaurant was bustling but the waiters do a good job keeping it efficient. Got 2x the #4 (beef) hotpot, a wintermelon tea, and some extra vermicelli. The food came out insanely quickly but you do have to wait for it to heat up after the waiters ignite the fuel for you. Satisfied with the service, I can tell that they're cutting some costs. The meat quality has drastically gone down, the taste is off and the texture was like chewing through a rag. I had to drench it in the soy sauce and garlic paste to barely swallow it. Overall it's a decent place to come for late night grub with your friends (so few places open late in Seattle...). -1 for not taking Amex!

Yelp
One of my fave hotpot places. You can choose rice or vermicelli as a side and lunch comes with your choice of green or black tea. The place could use a bit of an upgrade as many of the bench seats needs to be reupholstered as they are taped up. The waiters can add more broth upon request if needed.

Yelp
Came to this location for the first time on Sunday. We walked in 2 minutes before 11 and were basically yelled at that they open at 11.... So that was nice. There were a lot of us waiting outside for them to open so it would have been nice if they came out to tell us they were open instead of us trying to figure out who would be the brave one to walk in and may or may not get yelled at. The food, in my opinion is the worst out of all the locations. Sort of blan and toppings and drinks took a while to get. The Taiwanese spicy one, while we were warned it would be very spicy, was to the point where we almost thought we had to go to the hospital that night..: they should not be serving something that spicy. The service was quick and there was always someone walking around which was nice. I do not recommend this location for the food and will not be coming back.

Yelp
I came here for the beef hot pot and it tasted like I ate old meat. I gave this another chance and unfortunately had the same issue.

Yelp
I used to be obsessed with Boiling Point but idk it hits different now (in a meh way). I came in with my friend and there was a pretty long line at 6pm (which is to be expected). But, the line moved fast and we went to Uwajimaya while we were waiting. I got the Taiwanese Spicy and asked if I could swap out the Wok Noodles with Vermicelli because I have a wheat sensitivity and they said no LOL. Not to be a Karen but I feel like that was a pretty reasonable/easy request to accommodate so I was like okay besties whatever. We got our food fairly quickly and we both thought something tasted different/off - it just wasn't as good as it used to be! :-( The service was fast though and everyone was pretty friendly but idk if I would come again because it's pretty expensive for mediocre food (which is kind of the case in Seattle).

Yelp
My tried and true individual hot pot place. It never disappoints. Different flavor options to go with the mood you're in. I'd you come for lunch, you get a drink! I enjoy my boiling point pot with the noodles instead of the rice.

Yelp
The ambtenience is great it's always clean and the natural lighting is great. The food 10/10 each time and the service is very nice. Waiters are attentive.

Yelp
Boiling point is honesty my go to hot pot place! When I just want a hearty feel good bowl without having to deal with the whole hot pot experience this is where I go. The vibe of the place is very simple and quite individualistic since everyone gets their own pots. My table got the lamb and the beef soups. The lamb was my favorite between the two as it was very fragrant and the mustard greens and lamb in the soup made the taste of the broth very nice. The beef was also quite good but it felt more spice heavy even though the levee were the same because I think beef lends to the typical hot pot taste more naturally. It is a lot of food for the price so I think it's quite good value. We also go the Hokkaido Milk Tea to help with the spice as well. The service was fast and easy to flag down and they come around checking in on the fire a decent amount per meal.

Yelp
Fast, good value, validated parking. Lots of different sauces and options. I prefer shared pot, but this is a good alternative. We got the house special, the veggie hot pot, and the beef.

Yelp
Tasty Taiwanese comfort food! It was perfect after a long hike - we all loved the personal hot pot style. Taste-wise, it's not mind-blowingly amazing, but it's enjoyable. There are a various options, for your preferences, including seafood and vegetarian - unfortunately, they don't allow swapping out ingredients, though you can ask for ingredients to be removed. You can request either rice or vermicelli, which is great. For lunch, there's complimentary iced green tea. There are dipping sauces at the table for use, though it's not super clean. Portions were good - not too much, but enough to fill up a person with a standard stomach size, I guess? This location can be pretty busy, especially with it being located right next to Uwajimaya. Parking is validated for the first two hours. Service is kind of strange - had to wait a while to be seated (20-30m at 4pm), even though there were a couple open tables, and after being seated, we also had to wait a while to place our order, finally flagging down an employee who was kind of just hanging out. Overall, mixed service experience; would come again for personal hot pot!

Yelp
I love hot pot, and Boiling Point does a pretty good job at satisfying my cravings. There's a decent amount of options on the menu and I've tried both the beef and vegetarian option (with beef broth) and I was very happy with both. One thing my friend and I noticed was that their spice level was way higher than we thought. My friend who likes spice got medium level and was out of commission the rest of the day if you know what I mean. Not sure if they accidentally added extra in his bowl, but just a note. Additionally, I love the jellies that they give you add the end :)

Yelp
Exhausting experience. Food was so hot it was unable to be eaten until 20 mins later, the egg took 20 mins to cook (no way I'm eating raw egg) and the lamb (meat) portion size was skimpy, so even after eating the entire bowl, I was hungry two hours later. Redeeming qualities were the four-spice selection at each table (garlic bean paste was the best, plum seeds second) and the Napa cabbage/vermincilli noodles being plentiful (I looove cabbage). Would not go back again. Plus, there's so many other options that are much better in the grocery store/cafeteria next door

Yelp
Boiling Point is a fantastic spot for some delicious hot pot! The broth was rich and flavorful, and the ingredients were all fresh and high-quality. The staff were friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere was cozy and inviting. I loved the variety of options available, from meats to seafood to vegetables. On a plus side BP has a great variety of boba drinks! My go to is their hokado milks tea! I highly recommend the spicy broth and the seafood platter. 5/5 stars!

Yelp
Always my go to place. Super consistent every time I go and I've never been let down. Not only are their main pots delicious (I personally love the beef, taiwanese spicy, and miso), but their teas are so well made as well (I love the old-time delight milk tea). At the end of the meal, they give a little lemon jelly packet that is a nice touch. Everything here is great, I would even come for some sides and a tea with friends to just chat and munch. Sometimes the wait times get a little long but there is plenty to do in that area like go around Uwajimaya or Daiso. I'd recommend to come during lunch because it's a tad cheaper and it comes with a free tea. Amazing comfort food any day :)

Yelp
I love hot pot!! This spot in ID is in the middle of a busy street and gets lots of good traffic. We ordered the Fermented Tofu ("stinky tofu") which I've never really had before but thoroughly enjoyed, and the Taiwanese Spicy Dinner hot pot to share. This stuff was really hot -- the boyfriend isn't that great with spice and his nose was absolutely running the entire time. I'm much better with it and even I was struggling a little bit and tearing up here and there. It's definitely the kind of stuff that builds up over time and gets worse and worse as you keep eating it -- but it was still really freaking tasty. Service was in Chinese because we both speak and it was friendly and attentive. Nothing super special but a definitely good spot to visit!

Yelp
Boiling Point use to be phenomenal hot pot. I recently visited after a while. It is still good when you have the hot pot craving for what you get. You get to choose one set you eat and lunch it comes with a choice of rice/noodles and also a black tea/green tea. I like how you get the drink and it's a bit cheaper than dinner price. My go to is the miso special or the lamb special. I went adventurous and got the house special last time. Unfortunately, the rice was undercooked and hard to chew. The meat was a bit tough. The sauces were decent but I think they have changed the ingredients. I would still recommend the bean paste. I still like the tasty broth and how the fire keeps your foot hot, plus everyone gets their own set so you have freedom of choice when you are in a group. Service is friendly and attentive. I give it a 3.5 and would try again in the future.

Yelp
After a long day hiking Mount Storm King in Port Angeles, all I could think of was having a hot pot dinner to warm my bones as soon as I cross back to Seattle from Bainbridge Island. Boiling Point hit all the right spots! So affordable and so good! I had the Seafood Tofu set and my friends had their best seller, the Beef set and one tried the Milk Cream Curry. I loved that we each get our own pot and could pick the spicyness or heat. Service was great and validated parking in the Uwajimaya lot. Very easy to get in/out and conveniently located in Seattle!

Yelp
One of my favorite hotpot restaurants in Seattle. I'd highly recommend getting either Taiwanese Spicy if you like it spicy or House Special if you don't, and I always have Fuzhou Fish Ball as an add on. Their cumin lamb is also well seasoned and cooked perfectly! I'd recommend giving this a try as a side dish. I like to go here during lunch for the free tea that comes with the hotpot, and I avoid going around 12:30-1:30 pm on the weekend since the wait time could be more than 45 minutes. Overall, very satisfied with food and service and will come back again!

Yelp
i love hotpot but this was my first time at bp, it didn't disappoint! i was a little hesitant because i don't really like vegetables in soup and pretty much all the options have a lot, but surprisingly i enjoyed it a lot. i got the beef one with vermicelli and the soup combined with everything in the pot worked really well together. took a while to get seated but it was busy and the food came out quickly once we were seated. would definitely recommend especially on a cold day!

Yelp
My first boiling point experience was in California more than 10 years ago. It became one of my favorite restaurants. Decided to stop by for lunch since lunch is typically cheaper and it was perfect for the chilly weather. After ordering the soup hot pot, you get to choose the spice level, and a side of either rice or noodles. Another surprise is they offer complimentary iced green tea! You can update for a large size for extra $1. I ordered the beef hot soup because it's always the safe choice and my favorite everywhere I go. Who doesn't like beef? It comes with a variety of ingredients like tofu, corn, fish cakes, mushrooms and more! I got the mild spice and it was definitely spicy. The broth was not as flavorful as I remember. I mostly only tasted the spiciness instead of the beef broth, which was a little disappointment. However, I enjoyed the different ingredients inside the pot. They only have 3 different type of sauces but I didn't like any of it. The free iced green tea was very refreshing and definitely helped the spiciness. Overall, it was a good lunch. Was a little disappointed since it has been over 10 years since my last visit. It is now not my favorite Taiwanese hot soup pot anymore but I wouldn't mind coming back for lunch again. Very filling and price is reasonable. Service was quick. There was no line when we came which was a plus.

Yelp
Great hot pot Korean restaurant. I ordered my food and they literally gave us our order within 5-7 mins. I got the Korean bean paste which provided a variety of protein in there. If you wanna spice up your dish, they provide sauces on the side. They have lunch specials where they give out free tea drinks if anyone is interested. You can park at the uwa' parking lot and they'll verify your parking spot for free. They do have some nuts in several dishes and unfortunately they are not able to substitute the ingredient
